worst professor ive ever had in my life. you cant understand anything she says

Very difficulty to understand. Did not feel that she taught in a clear fashion. Sometimes students would questions her math skills b/c she would figure it out wrong.

half of my class dropped out, very hard to understand and when i asked questions she would role her eyes and most of the time didn't even answer the question. not very nice person and not a good teacher. :(

The worst possible professor you can take at Vista. I could not understand what she would say very well half the time. She gives you tardies if you leave early or are late to class. Would highly recommend staying away from this professor at all costs.

Heavy accent. Notes on board inconsistent with quiz and exam problems. Doesn't allow formula sheets. She doesn't allow you to ask a question before she interupts which leads to her explaining the wrong thing. She skips chapters only to go back to them later when they aren't related to the current topic. Gets emotional fast and lasts all day.

Tough professor. I study and read and take notes but she still does not make sense and lectures us about how its not her job to teach us. Im only passing because i go online for help. Half of the class is failing so pleas find another professor if you want to get a good grade.

doesn't give homework you must make up your own homework ,doesn't like to help ,and has a bad attitude toward helping , shes always defensive to her self if you want to talk to her she screams and don't allow you to finish do not recommend worst instructor I ever had.

NOT very helpful. Handwriting is sloppy always erases the board before you even write anything down. Always yells at you and doesn't help you when you ask for it. She gives hw everyday and doesn't except late work. She goes through 8 different sections in 1 class. Has her own textbook she made up ADN makes class more difficult& Reviews don't help

She is a good teacher, and sweet. She give pop quizzes with groups, but her test are crazy hard, studying doesn't even help either "got to know the material." She's hard to understand as well, no extra credit at all.

Erases the boards before you can even copy anything down. Teaches super super fast! I was in a 0100-1314 STEM class and she gives you two test only in 0100 and if you dont pass one with a 80 you get dropped before you can even get to 1314 college algebra. So basically you do your homework for nothing! I had a 90 in the clasa but got dropped.

Ms. Lee had very little patience whenever asked for help. She was very defensive and would raise her voice. She also didnt grade homework which probably would have helped people pass her class. Overall she was just not a good professor.

Does not explain work good, if you show the work and make a little mistake she doesn't give credit just marks the answer wrong... failed the class retook it with a different professor and past with a "A"

Prof . Lee was a terrible 0100-1314 math teacher . Doesnt want to talk to you to help you understand questions you dont get . Her motto is You have to know the material if you need the steps dumbed down like me then she is NOT the person to take . I got dropped from the class after 1314 & she told me I wasnt smart enough to move on .

Was Very rude, Did not help when needed understanding of course. She did not care did i mention she was RUDE!!!! She gets mad if you ask for help. DO not take her unless you want to waste your time and money to only retake the class.

if you do not understand math easily do not take this professor she is very confusing and barely helps you understand during class and gets confused and messes up herself.

This professor was beyond rude to her entire class that I was apart of. She is not from the U.S she is from South Korea so it is hard to understand her half the time. She is so uptight about how being perfect like her is what it takes to pass her course. I would NOT recommend her to be taken!

She was hard to understand with her accent, don't get me wrong I didn't mind it but when you would ask her a question and she couldn't really understand you she would sometimes get frustrated and not be professional about it. If you couldn't make it in for a test or even quizzes it would be an automatic zero. I wouldn't recommend taking her class.

I took her 16 week course for college algebra. She was not helpful and had POOR teaching methods!!! She told me many times I wasn't going to pass her class. The day of the final, she told me she knew I failed. I retook the course in the summer with another professor for 5 weeks. I passed with an A, 94%. DON'T TAKE HER. PICK ANOTHER PROFESSOR!

she is very hard to understand and isnt willing to help , she gets annoyed if asked to repeat something and her grading style isnt fair, she is rude. You have to pay attention to everything. She does not offer any tutoring, besides the lab, but no one in the lab knows stats the way she wants us to know it. her teaching style isnt great.

Horrible, this was before I knew 'Rate My Professor' was a thing, she once gave me a 70 on a quiz because my procedure was "too long", even though I had the right answer. She calls herself a hard grader because she believes that grading us hard will motivate us to do better. My High School Calculus teacher was better with students. Do not take her.

I took Professor Lee's remedial math 0410-0105 last spring and was prepared to study hard and put in the extra time to not only pass, but understand the material going into Business math. Not only was Professor Lee very hypercritical of every student, she was extremely rude and condescending to the point where we were afraid to ask questions. 0/0

I dont recommend taking this class its so hard

I took her for math 1414, she doesn't explain the rubrics. Terrible attitude and very unprofessional. She mentions she would drop grades, she doesn't. She'll spend half of the class time telling people to drop out instead of actually teaching and when she does, she makes a mistake and has to redo a single problem taking the whole class period.

I regret taking this class, please don't waste your time or money. She was very unprofessional and was constantly telling others to drop out instead of teaching. I have video proof of her telling a student that she is getting a zero for not having access to a computer. Even though there was a winter storm with no electricity etc. " Points off anyth

Very unprofessional, spends half of her time telling students to drop out or find a new major, goes through problems really fast, gets annoyed when people ask questions expecting you to already know. Her grading system is flawed. She's not understanding whatsoever to students wellbeing. Avoid this professor at all cost

I would not recommend taking this class. I dont know her as a person, but is a horrible teacher.

I am usually good at Math, however with her as my professor she anything but helpful. She goes through her lectures very quickly but not efficiently. I have a tutor to help me with something I don't understand and even he didn't get her teaching process. She rants about politics time to time, which is very unprofessional. Avoid her at all costs.

Gives take-home quizzes (homework), extremely difficult and take hours to complete (13-14 in semester). Strict grading, leaves no room for error. Demands respect but is condescending towards students that ask questions. Attendance is a must no exceptions. Not consistent with what she says. Talks fast, with an accent, hard to understand.

Please do yourself a favor and don't take this professor. The class was easy, but my problem was how we were talked down to. She was always condescending and rude. Any time someone would ask a question she would always answer in a condescending way. Honestly, this class made me miserable. If you like being talked down to, take her.

Probably one of the worst professors I have ever had. Super condescending and doesn't take criticism well. If you tell her she messed up or ask her to clarify, she gets really defensive and blames you. Do not take her classs!

Very hard to understand and quick lessons that are difficult to follow. Even if you are good at math it is a difficult class.

Teaching style is really fast, so if you need step by step this is not your teacher.

She goes so fast, teaches one topic one day then expects you to be ready to test on it next class.Sometimes shes hard to understand and honestly everyone in the class slowly stopped showing up to class because of how hard it was to pass her class

She gets on you if you miss a day in her class and is very condescending no matter who you are. If you call out her mistakes, she either gets defensive or corrects herself. 50/50. If you ask her for help, she makes you feel as if you're not intelligent, so if you need tutoring or help, go to the math lab, not her.

Don't take her unless you want her to be condescending and rude. If you don't understand what she is teaching then she will go into a lecture about you not knowing how to "critical think". She goes too fast and does not explain the work. She's a tough grader so be careful! If you don't do it her way it is wrong so be careful! Avoid her if possible!

Not only is she hard to understand she goes very fast in her lectures, one day you're learning one subject, and she gives go homework and a take-home quiz, next time you come back it will almost certainly be a different subject. She actually picked on me at the beginning of the school year and made me feel insecure.

Brooke Lee is very childish and very condescending. She expects to be respected when she can't even give any respect back in return. She's constantly degrading, especially when writing notes on your work and wants things done her way or no way, so if you want to fail, choose her.

Her accent makes it hard to understand what she's saying. Talks down to people she clearly doesn't like. For the final exam, she put a question that was a BONUS question from a quiz in the first month of class. It wasn't even on the reference sheet. She takes points off if you don't answer the question EXACTLY as she wants it.

First day of class and she kicked me out of class!!!! She does have a really heavy accent, but she said this class didn't go with my major and for me to get out. When indeed that class was my refresher math class. She ended up kicking out half the class. I would NEVER take her again. She has the worst attitude.

I've never had a professor who was hard and honestly disrespectful to it's students. One day she could be caring and kind and the next day she would be candy and vindictive. I'm also never gonna forget how she lowered by the end of the year and told us the final is what's gonna matter if we want to raise our grade overall. I don't recommend her.

She assigns homework like math is our only class, I have missed out on other assignments because of how long it takes to do her homework.

Dr. Lee would assign one to two units of homework due Tuesdays, with quizzes on Thursdays. She is very "my way is the only correct way," and does not accept any deviations from her methods- even if correct. Additionally, she has a very heavy accent which can be hard to understand, especially since she speaks very fast and doesn't speak very loudly.

I would not recommend taking this class, her teaching methods are hard to understand, she erases the board quickly and if you answer a question wrong she calls you out on it and makes you feel bad. She is a tough grader! if you don't do it her way you will most likely fail her class. If you wanna fail math then take this class. I should've dropped

This professor is by far the worst I have experienced on this campus. The professor would get mad at the class because nobody understood her teaching style. She would move test dates around a lot and even change due dates at the last minute. More than 80% of my class did not pass her class. I would only recommend her if you want a low GPA.

Assigns work like there is no Tommorow. Is constantly comparing your skills to peers. Presents your grade Extremely tough grader and marks points down for the smallest things when they don't matter.Hard to understand and moves Extremely fast. It's her way or your wrong even of your correct. Coughs infront of class without covering mouth. Very blunt

I did not have a good experience with her. This professor always came in with an attitude problem, always making fun of her pasts students, and had an accent that was very hard to understand. I really disliked her teaching ways and not to mention her "Short Cuts", almost never worked where I almost failed a couple assignments. Please choose wisely.

Wouldn't take again.

If you want to cry, feel frustrated, or risk your GPA, take this class! I worked hard, took the third test, and failed miserably with a 30. The professor refused extra credit or a redo. The highest grade was an 82, and we had only 3 weeks to learn the material. If you need time to understand, avoid this class and professor!

Respectfully, under no circumstances would I take this professor again. The professor made the work unnecessarily hard for the content being gone over. Professor had little compassion for students. If you have to take this professor do all the quizzes given 20 times over and make sure to invest ALOT ALOT of time. 1/5 because I passed.

NEVER take a class with this professor EVER!

Maybe it's because I was not as good in math as other people in the class, but never will i ever take her again. Her thick accent makes it harder to understand the material, she doesn't further elaborate on the material, I get it she has a phd but at least be a good professor, if you struggle with math you'll might as well drop out.
