SOOO easy... and interesting too.

He can act pretty spacey sometimes, but once you get his sense of humor, the class will be your favorite, and the material will be a snap. Appreciates somebody who thinks outside the box, so if that's you, speak up. Throw his sense of humor right back.

I was thinking about retaking this class, only because I don't feel as sharp as I did after taking it. Easy, but effective class.

This guy is a nut. He really doesn't know what is going on, and he wrote the book! VERY easy. No midterms or finals. Easy A. If you can't get an A in this class you must be in a comma.

Good teacher. Takes a few classes to get used to, but once you do he's pretty funny. He presents the material so that it makes sense. Class was interesting. The quizzes, tests, and group tests will be easy if you go to class. No papers to write!

I love Professor Moore! He is so great and he makes class so easy. No midterms or anything. He's always more than willing to help you understand. He is a really interesting person and made class bearable. Once he learns your name he'll call on you a lot though! I highly recommend him.

You have to go to every class because you never know if you are having a test or quiz.. but i love Moore he is the best teacher and he wrote the book. seriously he is the best teacher at Chico State because he wants you to learn your stuff. yeahh for Moore great teacher. awesome class

I highly recomend this teacher, he knows what he's teaching and how to teach it. He was ver helpful in class, and explained any questions we had.

without a doubt my favorite teacher EVER!! He practically hands you and A in his class... hardly any homework, no projects, and he makes sure people do well on his tests! Also, he is super super nice!! If you get him as your teacher your lucky! i loved him!!

Great teacher who makes an otherwise dry subject interesting, and it doesn't hurt that he wrote the book. He's kind to the students, helpful, and trys his best to have the students absorb the material, not just cram it in for test time. As said below, he does pause -not to try to remember, but more so that he can ponder before he responds.-

Nice old guy, very knowledgeable on the subject. Concerned with students learning through discussion with their peers, and will often let students ask other students questions.

This was a great course. Did most of the reading and got an easy B. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he gives a test/quiz every class that consists of 10 easy questions. You can drop two quizzes+tests and the final consists of 10 questions and is in groups. The only bad point is that he needs to turn down the volume on his powerpoint.

first off, take this class with someone you know because you do a lot of group work and the tests are "share your answers". usually someone grabbed the mic from moore and asked the whole lecture hall what they got. I skimmed the reading, went to almost all classes and i got an A-. i really didnt work that hard. TAKE IT WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW!

ppl who are saying negative things most likely sit in the back and dont know whats going on. he's nice, helpful, easy to talk to and its not hard if you just listen. he wants you to succeed and makes phil easy to understand. favorite teacher by far and this is coming from someone who barely passed classes last year. he makes lerning simple.

He is so cute! reminds me of my grandpa. Just do the readings and do good in the class. He always has pictures of animals on his overheads so thats entertaining but overall a boring class.

easy class, just show up and skim chapters before quizzes and tests/problem sets are guaranteed 9s or 10s. large class and material is boring. you dont have to put much work and effort into this class and no homework or paper!! no midterms as well. the final was super easy because of students on the mic telling you the answers + the chart. EASY A-B

Great class!! I learned so much and it Dr. Moore is a great porfessor who does a great job at teaching such a large amount of people.

Absolutely LOVED Moore. He always tried to make the concepts as easy to understand as possible through power points and the textbook. The only homework he gives is textbook reading, and it's pretty easy. I learned a ton in his class and would happily choose him for this class again.

Brooke Moore is a GREAT professor. It's a hard class so there's only so much he can do, but he's helpful and funny. He has cute Powerpoints with animals and sound effects and lets you work together on all the clicker stuff. Doesn't take attendance. Just do the readings and go to class and you'll do great.

He is helpful and really listens to his students. The class is setup almost as a large discussion. We were able to talk to our neighbors during tests and quizzes. I had to go to class everyday because there was always something that he gave points on. His student assistants are very helpful too, and easy on the eyes.

Go to class because there is something for points every day. If you read the chapters, you will understand what's going on and can easily get an A, especially because he curves the grades a lot. Make sure to look at your grade online to see if your clicker is working bc sometimes they don't and you won't get points. Go to class and read!

So the first week you might think this class is tough...STICK WITH IT the class just gets super easy. HW is online and it's easy because you get unlimited tries. Quizzes and problem sets and tests are just 10 questions long. Just get a tutor you might not even have to read the book because the HW helps a lot! Take him!!!

All tests are online. Get three attempts to take them. Go to office hours and he will help you pass the test. Must go to class for clicker questions. Very sweet professor that cares about his students if you try

This was my favorite class at Chico State, and I'm a senior. He has inspired me to go to law school. Loved his class. He is an extremely easy grader, and he makes lectures entertaining. I had a lot of fun in his class. He's a good guy.

Prof Moore is very smart but at times it can be a bit confusing to understand some of the examples he uses as examples. In class quizzes every day. A clicker is a must have and make sure to do the reading before class. Be prepared for loud sound effects and pictures of his dog. All in all a great professor for this course. He wrote the book too.

Overall, the class was kind of easy. As long as you go to class every day and do the online quizzes and assignments that are on blackboard, you're more than likely to get an A or B. In class, he does clicker quizzes. He drops your 6 lowest in class quiz scores, so it makes it easier on your grade. He's one of the nicest teachers I've had so far.

He is a great professor and teaches the material well, hes happy to explain in detail if needed. I would really recommend this class it is an easy A if you go to class and listen. He uses the connect for reading and all tests for the semester are online including the final. He lets you retake the tests 3 times and takes the best score.

Great professor. everything (tests, homework, and final) is online except for quizzes those are in class. need a clicker and an app for the class.

Easy class, all your hw is online and you always get 100%, tests are online with 3 attempts, but don't miss class because of clicker quizzes everyday. My biggest tip if you have trouble with tests is to go talk to him, he will make sure you get every answer right. Only downside is the class gets annoying as the semester goes on but don't ditch.

I love Dr. B Moore! He is an awesome professor. He really wants you to do well in his class. It is impossible for you to fail. Best teacher i have had at chico state. Such a bummer that hes not in my major department. Will miss the guy.

Moore is a great teacher. I took Phil 102 with another teacher and did not pass but I took it again with Moore and earned an A. 30% of grade is online homework which you'll get 100%. 30% is online tests which you get 3 tries. 30% is from iClicker quizzes so you do have to come to class every day. 10% is from the final. All online. Nice person!

Moore is one of the nicest professors and really cares for his students. Go in to his office hours and make your face familiar! Tests are hard but get help and you're sure to pass. Overall would definitely recommend.

Dr. Moore is by far the best teacher at Chico State. He truly understands the material and does an amazing job at teaching it. When reading the other rates keep in mind that kids who said it was hard DID not attend class.... you expect to understand without doing anything... lol stupid. But yea, awesome guy, would do anything to help his students.

Moore uses LearnSmart for online homework, the quizzes are very difficult. I recommend buying the book to help while taking the quizzes. You can retake them 3 times, which is nice. Almost every class there is a clicker quiz, he drops 6 though. This class is a mind game, you never know if you're right or not. I am an A student and I ended with a B.

This class is curved I think. He will help you on your online quizzes if you go to his office hours. They will be hard to do alone so TAKE HIS HELP! I would recommend taking him, it was a pretty easy class

Dr. Moore was a really good teacher. Enforced learning, lots of practice problems, but there is a quiz every single class session. He drops the six lowest in class quiz scores. The reason I was successful in this class was because I got help from a TA. Without help you will probably struggle with online quizzes.

Every class there is a ten point quiz so attendance is mandatory, but he lets you talk during quizzes so an easy score is not hard to get. Lectures are pretty boring but overall it's an easy class.

Clickers are used every class with clicker quiz at the end of each lecture. Can talk to people next to you and use class notes. All homework and quizzes are online. If you go to his office hours, he will help you get A's on all the online quizzes. No tests and final is online. He drops six of your lowest clicker scores.

Awesome teacher, awesome class. Attendance is not taken, however there is a quiz at the end of every lecture on what you just learned. Part of the class is online. He drops your SIX lowest quiz scores, so it is VERY hard not to do well in this class.

Going into this GE I thought I had it in the bag with an easy A but it's a little harder than that. I recommend paying attention like 50% of the lectures and don't even try looking up the answers to the quizzes cause they are not on chegg. Find someone smart and sit next to them because 50% of ur grade is clicker quizzes but take this class!!

Dr. Moore is a solid and funny professor. After all the classes went online, he switched his class format to powerpoints we were expected to read/take notes on, then take a quiz on afterwords. The final ended up being only 10% of our grade and was very easy as long as you understood the basic concepts of the class.

This professor one of the most genuine and caring professors you will ever have. He is always checking in on his students and started off everyday by asking how we were doing and if we needed help. His class only consisted of 8 activities and quizzes. The quizzes were somewhat difficult but if you go to his office hours, he will help a lot!
