VERY EASY, VERY NICE, AND MOST IMPORTANT, VERY FUNNYY!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT GUY MAKES HIS CLASS SO FUN, I LOVE HIS POEMS, HIS SARCASIM, EVERYTHING HE DOES IS SO GREAT.

This gov. class is great. he's extremely helpful and he makes the class fun. You'll actually enjoy going. As long as you pay attention to what he says you'll pass no problem. He goes over the whole test the week before. I definitly recommend him!

Awesome teacher! Just be aware that he is a HUGE lecture class, but he tells you everything that is going to be on the exam the week before. I would recommend this professor to anyone.

He is a good professor, who is straight foward and tells you what is going on with the class. Very nice and helpful. Be careful that the eight page term paper does not sneak up on you.

Very boring class, very boring subject at that. He doesnt care about attendance, which is cool. Be careful about those tests, theyre tricky. Do the eight page paper and you'll be fine.

to be perfictly honest I didn't take one test in class because he give at home makeups which are in essay form. He has a dry sence of humor but can ramble and cause drowsyness. Their is no homework and extra credit oppritunities A+ in my book!!

a very funny guy, gives no review papers for test but he tells you a week ahead of time what exactly on the test he has a very dry sence of humor and if you really listen to him he's very funny. I would definately recommend taking his class

He is a great teacher, funny and sarcastic. Grade based on easy tests and one 8 page essay. He gives reviews for the test and grades the paper easily. He picks out and teaches the important things and makes class interesting

Really awesome teacher. He does lecture a lot, but doesn't care at all if you come to class or not. Tests aren't easy, but they arent hard either. If you never come to class and just do the study guide, usually you'll end up with a high B or low A. Really tight teacher. Take this class!!

He is an excellent professor! He makes the classes interesting and is an excellent entertainer! He only teaches what is important in the textbook- and does so with a neutral perspective, something that most profs cannot accomplish.

Very cool teacher. Don't forget your 8 page paper and you will be fine. He knows you don't want to be there so he tries to make it interesting. He doesn't care about attendence at all. If you have to take this class I would recommend taking it with him.

Very funny guy and very helpful also. You MUST study for his tests but he does everything he can to help you prepare. I highly suggest his class.

He is a nice guy and grades easy, but I was bored to sleep every class I went to. Tests were easy and he gave you the info you needed to get a god grade on the test as well as extra credit. DO NOT TAKE AT NIGHT. 50 minutes a day is good. 2.5 hours will knock you out!

Farcau is very easy and makes class really funny with his personal stories. His classes and test all run nicely together. He even gives a review before each test!!!!

This guy rocks. I have never been so entertained, just wait for when he raps about the judiciary and wears a flava flav clock. An absolute genius who takes strides to make sure you know not how things are supposed to work but how they really work. Tells you whats on all the tests. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Fairly easy class. Doesn't keep attendance. You can just come before the exams for the review, and will still do great.

I was not thrilled to take this class at all, but having him as a teacher made it better. US gov't is so boring and Farcau will even tell you that, but he throws in jokes and tries to make it fun. I only showed up half the time, you mainly need to be there for the review for the test and do his paper. It's an easy A.

No Homework, only three easy papers, you don't even have to show up for class, only for tests. A final Exam, and an 8 page paper (really easy though)

Gov isn't my fav subject, Proff Farcau was a pretty good teacher, just read the chapters and you should be fine. He almost always told you one of the essay topics for the test. Study the material. He tried to make it fun with his sarcasm, he's pretty cool. I recommend him for GOV. He knows his stuff!

This guy is hilarious! Makes government entertaining. Tests are easy. You have to write one term paper. Anyone and everyone should take this guy.

Thought he was a pretty good teacher. Prolific author, which he hardly mentions! I love his political rap songs he does at the end of class sometimes....hilarious. Also retired bureaucrat from the state dept. KNOWS HIS STUFF!

I TOOK A LOOK AT THE REVIEWS AND THEY ARE TRUE. HE IS GREAT, KNOWS HIS SUTFF, AWESOME TEACHER.

He really does know his stuff! The subject is boring and he knows it so he tries his best to spice it up. There are 4 or 5 tests which are multiple choice with a couple of essay questions. Also, there is one paper and he offers extra credit.

Write enough on the term paper and pay attention to the study guides given before the tests. Pretty easy class and P. Farcau is pretty funny, little partisan, but tells interesting stories, gives real world examples, and jokes around but you learn about government.

he talks all day about history. he's a very interesting teacher. His test are very hard tho. But he gives u extra credit work to make up for them so u should be ok. He's very funny. he does his own raps and skits lol hilarious teacher.

I think he is a great teacher, he is funny and tells you EXACTLY what to expect on the test. He has 3 tests and one term paper. Term paper sucks but isn't that bad...make sure you write the full amount! Plus, i took his night class and we NEVER stayed the entire class time. He let us out early ever night which was great!

Great teacher. Always starts class off with current events and segways from there. On top of that he makes an extremely boring subject matter funny by injecting his own smart and funny sense of humor. He doesn't require you to show up to class, he only gives 3 tests, then the final and has only one term paper due. Easy A.

This guy is easy. If you dont like taking tests in class he gives you take home tests. I hardly went to class and still ending up with a B. Def. a teacher to take!

Dr. Farcau is awesome! I only attended class on the days of the reviews and the tests and passed with an A. Work hard on your research paper (not an option to miss) and read the book or attend lectures, there's no need to do both. He's really knowledgeable and funny, but his voice kinda put me to sleep after an hour. Great guy!

Seriously... if you don't take Prof. Farcau for Govt... then you are missing out on the best class. Super easy and he actually know what he's talking about. Non-agenda learning at its best. He lectures a lot but makes it as easy to learn as possible. You have to take it anyways so don't take it with anyone else.

Easy A. Attendance is optional and you can do a take home version of each test and the final. You don't need the textbook, just use the internet to research the topics. If you actually go to class (I did every other week), he's funny, he'll rap and sing. Don't bother trying to BS him. Easy class.

Great teacher lots of experience! he knows his stuff. doesn't write anythign on board it's all up to yoiu for notes! His test are easy he gives you everything you need to know. Lots of Extra credit for his class! Very easy class in general! Easy B little work for an A! He is very nice and caring to!!! take for any class you can you wont be mad!

Prof. Farcau is an amazing teacher who knows what he is teaching since he has experience in the field. He tries to incorporate humor into his teaching by singing, rapping and performing for his class. Attending class is optional and he also gives take-home tests and a take home final which makes this class a breeze. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is one of the best Prof. at Valencia! I had absolutely no interest in U.S. Government prior to taking his class, but he made it interesting and fun. I highly recomend this Prof. Don't miss out, his lectures are great. Funny guy and very smart. You will learn alot. Take home versions of tests are the best. Love that option!

he is the best teacher ever! only 3 test and its mostly multiple choice, only 1 short essay question. u dnt need the book at all if u just attend class. he is very interesting and will keep u entertained. there is a 8-10 page research paper but i think as long as u do it then u will get a good grade.

Dr. Farcau is an excellent prof., very funny as well. It's a boring class and he tries to keep us from sleeping with his funny jokes and comments on current issues. I found his in class test kind of hard, but he gives you the option to take the take home version. You will also have to write an term paper of 8 pages .

Good class, no attandance policy, and an easy A. On regular days he gives lectures, the class before the test he tells you EXACTLY whats going to be on it. Tests are 25 mulitple choice and 1 short essay. Provides alternate 2 essay take home tests for any reason, even if you just don't feel like taking the in class version.

BEST. PROFESSOR. EVER. He is hilarious and will talk about anything you want to ask questions about! You have an option between take-home and in-class exams and I've never loved learning about American Government this much before! Definitely take him!

He is great! He makes it clear what you need to do and there is no homework! You may g=take take-home tests if you miss the one in class! ( i recommend this). There is one long paper but as long as you are on topic you will get a good grade. He barley takes attendance also! Cool Guy!

The class is boring, not going to lie. He talks a lot and I will find myself just sitting there trying to listen and not doze off. Attendance is not mandatory at all. Get the book to study but I found I didn't need it much. The final paper just needs to be good and on topic and you're good. Boring but easy class.

Overall great professor. On English and Scandinavian history we don't agree, but oversall this professor kicks butt.

If you're like me and not interested in Government you can get confused, however: there are only 3 tests including the final, 1 research paper, 2 extra credit papers for ANY test.. &that's it! He goes over everything to expect on the test the class before, & there is an optional take home! He's a sweet guy and isn't trying to fail you. TAKE HIM!

GREAT PROFESSOR! He does not take attendance. You should still go because then you won't know when the review and tests days are. You don't really use the book but buy it anyway because he bases his reviews off of it. 3 Tests, 1 Research Paper. That's it. Lectures are boring but easy grade. I took his flex class.

Professor Farcau was such an easy going guy. Extremely funny. As long you attend class & are writing down notes, its easy to pass the class. I highly recommend doing the take home essays. It's 2 essays per test & there are only 3 tests. I also recommend writing at least 3 pages per essay. There is also a research paper. I passed with an "A". =)

Professor Farcau explains all the material in a very engaging way. I personally loved his class. He is clear about the course requirements: three tests, a final, and a research paper of eight pages. He offers a take-home version of each test but be careful, you have to work hard to earn a good grade! He also offers extra credit opportunities.

There is only 4 grades in this class. The 3 tests and one term paper. He offers the choice of a in class or take home on every test. You could never show up and still get an A for sure.

He's really boring and monotone. The course requires 3 tests and a term paper. You can opt out of the test, which I suggest you do, and write two 400-500 page paper. The last term paper is 8 pages long so start early.

He's an amazing teacher and honestly, his class is an easy A if you just do the test he gives and the 8-page term paper ( which he gives you basically all semester to do). You have the choice of doing the test in class or do a take-home test which is Two Essays. He has a great sense of humor. DOES NOT GIVE HOMEWORK!

Great professor, his class is basically a lecture period and he doesn't count attendance. There are only 4 grades and 1 E.C. assignment. The tests can be taken home as an essay or in class as multiple choice with an essay. He's a super funny and relaxed guy and most days he lets you out early. He doesn't use canvas, the class is really all just lectures, but you will still pass if you get the textbook. Honestly, you don't even need the textbook you can just look up the answers, as long as you answer the questions on the tests you're good. Provides an in-class or take-home test. Lectures are honestly boring because it's just him talking.

Professor Farcau was the most interesting professor I have ever had. He lectures the entire class off the top of his head based on his pure knowledge & experience with the content of the course. He does not use Canvas, & your grade is based on 3 tests & a term paper, where you write about anything we learned. Chill, responsive,& I highly recommend.

Farcau is riot. In my opinion this guy is educated and passionate about the information he shares with us. Sometimes he can be a bit monotone which lets be real, we all are from time to time. But he makes up for it with his witty and sophisticated sense of humor. Id recommend him to those who are taking harder classes as his work load is small.

incredible teacher that taught me a lot about government, you are only graded for 3 test papers and a term paper. Be prepared to write a little, as long as you take notes during his lectures you will be fine

Professor Farcau's class is an easy A if you do the tests and term paper. His lectures can be dry, but he has a great sense of humor. Attendance is mandatory, but you can do the tests from home. I found unstuck study really helpful for prepping.

hes a really chill and sweet professor who only really talks for his lectures, so if you're a visual learner, get someone else. Only 3 tests that are writing, and you have multiple days to do. There's only 1 really important assignment that yk about from day one, that is due at the end of the semester. Totally recommend!!

Dr. Farcau is a pretty chill professor. He is very clear about the coursework at the beginning of the term. You have 3 exams, which can be done at home and open book, and an 8-page term paper due at the end of the semester, and YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS PAPER FROM DAY ONE. I did feel he could be a bit tough as a grader, but nothing too crazy.

Dr. Farcau was an amazing professor. I took him for INR2000, and his lectures can get a little boring, but the class itself is a breeze. Only 4 total assignments (3 tests, 1 term paper). He is a VERY lenient grader. I would def take hiim again!
