Great teacher and an awesome guy. Has open discussions in class that are very fun and interesting. Barely any work and almost no tests. Highly recommended if you have the option to take one of his classes.
Took this class online and found it very simple. Basically looking at advertisements, making some discussions, and a test or two. Make sure to watch due dates as things are due weekly. Textbook is utilized sometimes; can probably get away with a previous edition.
Great Guy who knows what he is talking about. Class is interesting and very discussion based not textbook or lecture. Not much work either, but i have learned a lot.
Tends to be very off topic. Most of our tests were taken online and he took nearly two weeks to put the test up. Not repsonsive to emails. Discussions in class were so off topic very little of the textbook terminology we were supposed to be learning was gone over in class. Not a bad person, just not the best professor.
REALLY great teacher. All coursework is very clear and easy to understand. Bruce is a great guy and will help anyone with anything!
Bruce is an awesome teacher. He's worked in many aspects of the business world and knows what hes talking about. Very helpful for anything and builds the class around his individual classes. Sometimes wanders off topic but he's always able to tie it into the subject matter.
Although did well, this class was "on your own learning" rather than online learning. Bruce's response to e-mails was close to none and homework was not even graded or barely graded by end of course. Did not learn much more from when I came in to the class. Final was given on chapters not even assigned. Terrible online instructor.
Awesome teacher, had for summer session 2. Wall Street articles every week are a bit of a pain, but the teacher is very flexible in regards being late for assignments. You should have no problem getting an A in this class if you show up. Tests are done online, and assignments as well. Most assignments in class only need to be a paragraph long.
Bruce Imber is a great teacher! He is very helpful, and I have recommended many people to him who are majoring in business. Great guy and relates topics to thigns going on in the world currently.
Bruce is a great teacher. I took him for Summer Session II, and not only did I learn a lot, but I enjoyed the class. Covers relevant topics to today's world. The WSJ articles are a little bit of a pain, but he is very flexible. Would definately take his classes again in the future.
Awesome professor! I take at least one class with him a semester! His classes are discussion based which is awesome. He wants you to do well and if you try your bound to get an A.
Very good teacher. I would take all the classes he teaches if I could of.
AMAZING TEACHER! The class was very easy & all the tests were online. Attendance & participation are very important with this class. I think the only homework I had for his class was every tuesday bring in 2 articles from the WSJ & 1 paper that we had 4 weeks to write. I'm soon taking another class of his online, I DEFINITELY recommend taking him!
THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! he is nice, helpful, knowledgeable and fun! Easy A. Homework - 2 articles every week, and one paper. He even cut our articles from 20 of them to 12. Tests are online, open book. and he is cute=)
Bruce is awesome. I would recommend taking his class as often as you can
Bruce Imber is by far one of the best professors I've ever had at bucks. Most classes are a complete drag to go to, however, his class is fun, exciting. He makes sure the whole class gets involved. We talk about business aspects that relate to our lives. He's funny, smart, easy to talk to, and ALWAYS there when you need him. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!
Bruce runs a fun, interactive, and informative class...and he's knowledgeable in all aspects of business with highly relevant "real world" experience. Turn up, listen, participate, retain what you can, and you'll get an A.
AWESOME! He has "real world" knowledge. He contributes & engages the class in learning. He gives full autonomy to his students. You either want to learn or don't. Simply put: do your work get an A, don't & you will fail. Many mistaken his kindness for being a fool. He states "make sure you read, study, show up & participate!" I give him an A++++++
I love Bruce. I took every class that he taught, and it was a great time ! Take every class he has, he is a very intelligent man, and can teach you a lot!
he is a great teacher don't get me wrong, but he doesn't grade anything that is the only complaint i have other then that i love taking his class and would do so again!
He is a great guy, but his class is a hot mess. Totally unorganized and he never returns grades.
The only thing I hated was that he does not grade anything until the LAST WEEK of the semester. But, the class was easy and he knows what he is talking about because he actually has real world experience in the business world. I would take his class again in the future
A great "do it at your pace class". Has a reasonable grading system and expectations. Bruce is helpful and very funny/clever. I highly recommend taking any of his class. I plan to take my other business classes with him!
Greatest teacher I have had yet! 6 week summer session- moved fast, kept interest and learned so much! His feedback was very helpful and motivating. I am definitely going to take as many classes with him as possible! Read the chapters, do the work and you will get an A.
Took class online. Easy A - definitely buy textbook (which was like $10) bc questions are almost verbatim from book. His assignments were kind of annoying (didn't learn anything from them and seemed like busy work) and his feedback seemed vague ("good answer. you knew the topic well") but i would take him again. nice guy & fair grader
WAY TOO EASY. Learned nothing in the class. He did not grade any of our weekly assignments. The course is over and I have yet to receive any feedback.
Take him if you want an easy A, take someone else if you want to learn the course. Very nice guy, just doesnt really teach you much. Id say 90% of the class is online.
Great Professor. Interesting class. Will help to prepare for the tests.
Great guy and teaches very well. Uses real life examples that help you grasp the material better.
Great professor who kept the class interesting. It seems like a difficult class to teach since there are so many topics but he did well. Most class work is online and there are short and easy weekly assignments. He is nice and wants everyone to succeed.
Great guy and great teacher. He really cares about his students and is very funny. take him for principles of management
He gives you assignments that make you think, but they're fun and pretty easy. He uses a lot of real world experiences and things that are happening today. You do need the book but he makes class enjoyable for everyone. You definitely have to participate bc half the classes are discussion based. Overall a decent teacher. Made subject interesting.
no note taking at all. he just talks to the class the whole time and asks people questions. class was very easy but its pointless to show up but u have to for attendance.. hes a nice guy tho
Yes he does tend to get off topic easily but it all relates to real life & what he is teaching. If you want to do well on the test, be sure to read the book & follow the PowerPoints although he gave many options for extra credit. Pay attention & learn. Great Professor!!! I am planning on taking him again next semester.
Mr. Imber is my favorite professor at Bucks. He is an awesome man and is very easy going. I've taken 2 of his classes and am signing up for a third. Do your work and show up and you'll do very well! His lectures are fun and I have always generally enjoyed being in his class. PICK HIM!
if you need a GPA booster its definitely this class take it and pass hes funny and make class interesting
Bruce Imber is one of Buck's best teachers. He has got to be the most helpful teacher inside class and outside of the class room. This is the second time I have taken him and I wish I could take him again for another class. Definitely someone I would recommend to a business student. He has always helped me with advising and he was amazing!
Took his marketing class during the winter break. Loved it- pretty straight forward and easy to keep up with the course work. Would recommend him for the winter intercession course (3 weeks).
Bruce is a really great guy and helpful teacher. He is the only person I trust going to for advising. He is really passionate about this school (Bucks) and about helping out students. His classes are fun and full of discussions. I really felt connected in his class and like my voice was being heard, whether my opinions were right or wrong.
BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Loved this dude and would take him again in a heart beat. He's funny and he honestly cares about his students. If his class is not waitlisted take it asap. A bunch of extra credit and his tests are cake. NO FINAL AND NO MIDTERM. I actually enjoyed going to his class. Easy A. If i haven't convinced you enough idk what will.
Awesome professor!! highly recommended. The most interesting and fun class that I've ever taken. Very good at getting the whole class involved in discussions which are very relative to the topics at hand. You will not regret taking a class with this guy.. He's the man!
I took Principles of Marketing online and it was by far one of the best online courses I have taken. It was very engaging and I really feel like I learned as much as I would have in real classroom setting. Very understandable format. Would definitely take again.
Hilarious guy and is very understanding of everything. Tests are open note, so take good ones
I took Mr. Imber for MGMT 100. He is the best professor in business department. I pass with 100%.
Professor Imber was amazing! He really confirmed my love for business and encouraged his students. He gives a lot of extra credit. Do it and come to class and you will get over a 100 in the class. He truly cares for his students.
AMAZING GUY!!!! The tests are really difficult for some reason. But he pulls them offline like everything else that's in the book. But he REALLY wants everyone to pass his class & will do what it takes to do so. He also lets you use everything but the text on the test & you get credit on the test for the notes you bring. Super nice & super helpful!
Take him or beem online if you can!!! If you take him face to face there are 4 or 5 tests( open notes) weekly assignments & discussion posts( which are very easy to do). He lets you bring in notes and gives you extra credit for it! Easy A
Really lovely and sweet guy. He's super interesting and instead of lectures his classes mostly consist of conversations about real life examples of marketing, management, or advertising- whatever it is that you take with him. Take good notes, they're used on tests, and lastly make sure you go to class. He is serious about his attendance policy.
He's really into the material and that makes it much more interesting. However, theclass is largely a disscussion so it's better if you come prepared. He says he won't read the book in the class, but he covers the material in a roundabout way. He really wants students to do well and affords ways to do that throughout the term. Take notes.

Great teacher, made the class fun. It was easy to pass his class as long as you did your work. He was a good grader and understood people had lives outside of school. So he worked well with everyone's schedules. I will be taking more classes with this teacher
Favorite teacher!
Nice guy and knows his stuff. Easily my favorite class.
He is literally the easiest professor for Business. He gives you a lot of extra credit opportunities. I passed his class with 110%. His class discussions are really funny and is open to everyone. He gives 4 tests, drops the lowest one and there's NO FINAL! I would definitely take him again. I wished he taught Accounting since he has a degree.
I took him for the intro to business, and I can tell he is the best professor in the business department. He's class contains written assignment which is due every Sunday, and it is very easy. Hes test is open notes, and he gives you 30 extra points for bringing the notes on test day. There is no doubt that you will not pass his class. Also, he off
I took him for the intro to business and again I took him in winter session for the principal of marketing, and I can tell you his class his so easy. I got to learn so much, and I finished his course in less than a month. My class average for MGMT 100 was 130, and my class average for MKTG 100 was 102. I am also taking him for MGMT 230 in the spring semester which starts after two days.
AWESOME! I hate sitting through lectures but I looked forward to his every week. He knows his stuff! Quizzes are taken online with 2 attempts allowed. Just do the assignments and you will pass his class. He gives a lot of extra credit. I plan on taking him for any classes he offers in my major!
I'm not even sure if he read any of my assignments. I got 100% on everything he graded but he didn't even start grading anything until the class was over. There was no feedback whatsoever and a big final project with very unclear directions. It was like I was alone in the class teaching myself. I would never take any of his classes again.
Reviews textbook & goes over it in a power point. Wants feedback & discussion from class. You should still read the textbook because of other information that is on tests. Due dates & assignments are clear & he is an easy person to listen to in class. Is flexible with attendance policy but i would recommend going to class to learn from what he says
A great and very talented professor I have ever seen. I had him for my MGMT 100 and for MGMT230. He offer lots of extra credits. Make sure you attend all classes. Would highly recommend him.
Very laid back. He just drops things that he doesn't want to do. One day near the end of the semester we showed up to class and he said "Okay so you guys can pick. We can either go over class material or just leave. Whatever you guys want." There's good material and he presents it well, but there isn't much structure to his lectures. Fine by me.
I took him for MGMT100 and it was by far my easiest class. Do the weekly assignment online and the occasional online quiz (that you can retake) and you will get an A+... Just be sure not miss over 5 classes and it will be your easiest class of the semester!
Bruce is beast! MGMT100 Take his class you won't be disappointed.
Loves discussion-based lectures, which make his classes something to actually look forward to. Incredibly lenient on grading. Don't buy the textbook, you won't need it. I love this man
Great
A decent professor but I think he would really benefit from taking an education class or two... lots of class discussions with no one participating because he phrases his questions in a confusing way. Other than that he's a good & straight-forward prof.
Best professor I ever had I would recommend to take him gor BUSINESS MAJORS students
Nice professor gives you good feedback lots of extra credit opportunities you will easily pass with A i promise
I took Professor Imber's online advertising class and it was the best college experience I had! His class prepares you for the real world and gives you assignments that encourage you to use your creativity and intuition. The course work was perfectly balanced and made you fully understand the subject. Do not pass up the opportunity to take him!
Best professor i ever had i also took him for MGMT 100. Everything must be submitted online no due date you can submit all your work at the end of the semester if you want but its better for you to submit on time TAKE HIM he is great LOT OF FREE EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES
I took an Advertising class online with this professor and he did not grade anything till the end of the semester. His syllabus and modules on Canvas were not up to date. At the end of the semester there is a 200 point project and the directions were unclear. When asked for help he did not answer any questions. He did not interact with students.
You will have no idea how you are doing in his class because he never grades anything. Worst was that he did not return any of my emails and when i finally found him, he just said dont worry about it. So disorganized and a terrible communicator. Take someone else.
Awesome teacher not a stressful class good information relatable and interactive
Prof. Imber is so knowledgeable about this field and loves to tell stories from his own experience. He's easy to converse with and makes class enjoyable.
Professor Imber is one of the best professors Ive had so far. Great lectures and makes sure we understand what he is teaching. Shows ads that make sense to what he is teaching
My favorite professor this semester. Bruce is really fun
really great teacher, cares about his students and the subject. makes class fun, and is funny. talks a lot but keeps you interested with opinions and current events. do your work and participate.
Very nice guy easy to talk to
great prof, take him you will pass easily 10/10 recommend
Best professor at bucks
took marketing as an undecided major to see if id like to pursue it and really enjoyed the way Imber presented the topic! often lets class go early and plays lots of videos !! would take a class by him again!
He is pretty laid back, tends to go off topic when teaching but it ends up making you remember the lesson. Overall caring and if you read the book you're fine, online tests anyways so he allows open book.
This class was mainly discussion based, but the discussions ranged in so many different topic areas. Most times we got off topic from the PowerPoints and discussed other "related" topics. This class was easy and fun. Quizzes were easy and assignments were easy as well. Does give some extra credit!
Hes the most chill professor to imagine. He doesnt grade hard, you can have up to 8 absenteces before failing (you can try skip more than that if you really want), he does a lot of class discussions and you can end up talking about anything. Get ready for off-task talks and weird videos. Funny, genuine guy. Take him! (I didnt learn much though!)
Does not grade until end of semester. Lots of reading and writing for just a beginner reading class. This is more like english class to me.
Definitely take his in-person class, as hes basically a ghost in his online classes. Incredibly hard to get a hold of to get answers from- the entire class was basically scratching their heads all semester. His instructions are pretty unclear, and it was very difficult to find out which materials were needed for the class.
Dont take his online class, he is a ghost. he doesnt grade anything until the end, i had an assignment due on march 31st and he just graded it on MAY 18th. its a little ridiculous that you have no idea what your grade is or if youre even doing the assignments right cause his directions arent the best either.
He was a terrific teacher in my marketing. He deeply cares about his students succeeding. You cannot go wrong with him by far the best professor ever.
Do not take this online class. Nothing was graded the entire semester and he is impossible to get in touch with. Assignments due every week and you have no idea if youre doing them correctly or what half the assignments even are. Complete waste of time and money. But dont worry you MAY have your grade the day after grades are due for the semester
You can email and call him all you want for the simplest of questions, but don't expect an answer unless you text him. Even then it's iffy. He doesn't grade until the end of the semester, so you have no idea how you're doing, and he often has cryptic and vague directions. I've never felt the need to warn people against a professor until now.
Very good teacher and charismatic person. Vast knowledge of his subject through practice and research.
I am currently in this class, but he is so good. You have class discussions and makes it so everyone interacts, very good teacher and teaches a way where no class is boring and isnt always reading off the screen like a lot of boring professors. Currently trying to get him for my next semester
Professor Imbers class consists of strictly 1 assignment per chapter and about 3-4 online quizzes (2 attempts, at home) NOTE: in class relevant material about the chapters are rarely covered. The class is discussion based, very off topic. If you like to engage in conversation its and do nothing its ok, otherwise its a waste of time. Take online
Imber cares about his students and is helpful with anything you may need outside of class. I think getting the book was necessary for the hw. Attendance matters which is ridiculous because the class was pointless. I learned everything on my own and my time would have been more productive at home. Lots of extra credit, easy A.
I like him as a person but not as a professor. He will usually ask students to share stories where they got problems related to management. He also gives u case assignments for every week about management, but you will never get them graded. This class was more like "an easy A". If you do like this way of teaching, then you should take it. I don't.
Overall, a great professor. My recommendation to the professor to improve the class is to ground the class with a little more focus on the topic at hand. I found the class interesting and fun when discussions took place, and I think it would become even better with more focus on the subject. I learned a lot and am grateful for taking the class.
Awful. Didn't really do any teaching or give use any good resources. The articles and videos we read and watched were often very old or just plain bad. He never once mentioned that we have a FIVE PAGE PAPER due at the end of the semester. You think something that big would be mentioned. Vert bad online teacher.
Literally the easiest class I've ever taken. You'd have to really try to fail. A nice guy, genuinely cares about his students.
He tells interesting stories in class but nothing related to the actual class. He also doesn't grade ANYTHING until the end of the semester. Not one grade is put in Canvas until the last week of class so you have no idea how you are doing. Ask him and he just says not to worry???
Bruce is a nice guy but he just doesnt grade anything somehow at the end of the semester you get a grade. If you email him he doesnt respond.
best prof ive ever had, take him if you can you will not regret i promise hes the best
If you submit every assignment youll get an A. Class is graded based on a bunch of 1 page responses to random articles from the 2000s and 2010s he never bothered to update. If you went to college to learn I wouldn't take him. I had him for an online class, it feels like he treats the job like some easy extra cash.
Imber cares about his students and the material he teaches. He makes the class enjoyable and doesn't assign a lot of work. You have to try to fail his class; he makes passing very easy. You can't go wrong with taking his class.
I took this class during the summer session, it was very straight forward. There were three chapters per week with a discussion, assignment, and quiz. It was very easy to get an A as long as you complete all the assignments. The textbook was provided for free online.
mostly lecture but engaging. Not much work. A quiz and written assignment each week.
Very nice. Will definitely take a class taught by him again.
Mr. Imber was a great professor to have for my first semester of college. He made the class interesting and connected with his students. Looked forward to going to his class. Taking him again next semester and I look forward to it.
Honestly, he is my favorite teacher at Bucks ever. He is real, cares about his students, and takes criticism seriously. Sure, some find his grading annoying, but just do your assignments on time, and there is no issue. There is no way you can fail
Amazing, loved him! Great professor, lots of lecture in class, but homework is direct and easy to understand!
Inconsis
Just finished the virtual session of this course. Bruce gives you all the assignments for the session upfront, so you are able to work ahead. He's an extremely fair grader, and provides good feedback. The course is easy, if you actually read the material and apply yourself.
He is a great professor, I actually took his class one year ago and I am at Temple now and he actually cares. I recommend his class
Professor Imber is my favorite teacher this semester. His class is highly lenient (accepts late work, drops low grades, offers easy extra credit) and while he gives lectures, they're often very short and engaging. He also offers a free textbook. With that being said, he is a slow grader but stated that if you ask him to put things in, he will.
Professor Imber is an amazing person and it shows through his teachings. His lectures are short and funny, participation isn't mandatory but is appreciated. He offers extra credit, takes late work, and will drop low scoring assignments. Just doing the work gets you a passing grade. He's a slow grader but if you just ask he'll put things in for you.
Bruce is a chill professor who makes the class enjoyable. Assignments are straightforward, and as long as you stay on top of them, you can easily get an A. Unstuck Study AI was a lifesaver for prepping.
Stay on top of all your weekly papers and quizes all through the semester, if you are taking in person come to class everyday and engage with the professor. Very undertsanding professor, easy going and defintely knows what he's talking about.
Open note quizzes, each chapter has a couple assignments. Nothing to difficult.
professor imber was a chill guy. we had a weekly canvas chapter quiz with 10 questions and a weekly writing assignment to go along with it. it's very straight forward. attendance is taken but even if you miss a lot of class your grade should be fine if your assignments are graded well. he's also an easy grader. i would take his class again 100%.
He is best professor.
Very chill guy
