HUGE JERK. Seriously probably one of the worst teachers I have ever taken. Class was okay, but he only calls on guys. Lies about what is on tests. The only teacher I have ever had to make me cry. Started with an A, disagreed in class with him, got a C.

At the beginning, i thought he was a cool guy, but once you get into the semester, he sucks. He doesn't help you with the papers, and he changes the rubric of what he wants. Don't ever take him, he never looks at you while he is talking. TERRIBLE!!!
This guy is absolutly horrible! He loses grades and then gives zeros for them...when you complain he's a total jerk about his own mistakes. Avoid this guy if at all possible!!!!

May be the worst teacher I have ever had. He is a nice guy, but horrible at his job. He should have his certifications revoked.
Dr. Litte is a great professor. He is funny which keeps a boring class worth going to. There is some reading but the discussion in class is worth it. All you gotta do to do well in this class is pay attention and work hard.
He's an average teacher. I was worried at first, but made it through alright. When writing papers focus on topics he's interested in. You'll have to pay attention to figure this out. It'll help your grade on papers. Expects participation in class disc
Very HARD Grader. Papers suck. Only 4 students out of 20 received B's in the class. No one got higher than a 87%. The final research paper blows. He makes it deal with Economic/Money Topics. He tears the papers with red ink at meetings. Don't take him!
Ok, he's not that bad. If you can write already, you'll be fine. I write pretty well, and I did the papers the night before, and recieved an A. Don't be stupid, and you won't have a problem.

Needs to stop teaching. Don't bother going to class because you won't learn anything. Lectures about nothing and still collects his paycheck. A total waste of time and money.
Easy, show up, DO YOUR WORK and your fine. Hard to understand through a brittish accent, not terrible. DO YOUR WORK and he's great. He gets frusterated when the class doenst participate and goes about it wrong. tests are medium-easy.
Not only does he have a fake British accent and uses annoying hand gestures, but he never stays on subject and only talks about what he likes! He pushes his own views, which are crazy! He won't help you with work, and also won't look you in the eye!!!
Not bad at all if you talk durring class and put forth some effort. The thing with him is that you have to try. He's a little unorthodox but if you can find some rationality with him he's a pretty good prof. GO TO HIS OFFICE and talk to him out side of class... it'll make things pretty good.
Not really too bad a guy, but he can come off a lil' elitist at times. Sometimes got the impression he was trying too hard to be poetic or deep. It's sorta' fun, though, to have a literature professor that fits the steriotype. Make sure to actually read, word-of-mouth/cliffnotes won't help you.
I didn't like the class at all. The fact that you have to read sixty pages of 12 point-font sucks. His accent is hard to understand sometimes, and the hand gestures annoy me to no end. It's also very hard to take notes when they are randomly scattered about the board. Very disorganized.

This class makes me want to shoot myself in the head - and I'm not suicidal. What he goes over in class has absolutely nothing to do with composition or the papers you write. I learned nothing in the class at all. I wish I could have the last semester of my life back. Plus, he's openly gay.

He is a little disorganized but means well, and is yet another awesome addition to the NW English dept.

This man is crazy. Everyone in the class spaces off. He doesn't make sense and you don't know what he wants. No study guides for tests and the tests are harder than any I've taken in my life. DON'T TAKE THIS MAN!

An excellent teacher. If you don't listen, care, or don't want to work...then don't take this class. Litte kept the class interesting and I don't understand the low rating. Probably the best intructor for this class.
This guy is crazy. You will be so lost and have no idea what the test will be over. You will hate your life and stare at the ceiling. DON'T EVER TAKE HIM EVER EVER!!!
The assignments aren't clear and if you ask a question, he'll give you a different answer every time. He doesn't give any tests and is willing to read over your papers before you turn them in, but won't tell you what is wrong . It's not a hard class, but only take it if you can stand being bored out of your mind and deal with a crazy professor.
IF you are forced to take this miserable class, be prepared to be humiliated. You will work your ass off for good grades and if he doesnt like you then just forget it. He will anounce your grade on the research paper on the internet for everybody to see and make fun of the people who dont get A's. He sends stupid emails that dont make sense and don

No one ever knows what the hell he's talking about. He gives you a different answer everytime you ask a question. If he doesn't like what you write in an essay he will dock you for it even if there is nothing grammatically wrong, it's just your opinion. He cuts everyone off in class and only cares about what he has to say. Do not take him!!

Okay, so don't bother emailing this teacher or ever seeing him in his office. He's never there and he won't read your emails. English is my minor and he gave me D's on the majority of my papers. DO NOT TAKE FROM HIM!
First of all, do not pay attention to the comments left by the lazy students who took him for their Gen-Eds. This man's intellect is beyond description. He is quite funny and friendly, sometimes hard to understand but feel free to ask him. In grammars, the class sat in a semi-circle and it was all very casual and I learned from him.

Dr. Litte is very inconsistant in his teaching and is highly bias when grading papers. If he doesn't agree he takes off, even when there is evidence to back up your argument.
this professor never had an updated syllabus and I was lost all throughout class, he would grade your papers on opinion on rather it agreed with his or not, he is without a doubt the worst professor I ever had and I learned nothing from him
I had him for Intro to Lit and it was overall a pretty easy class, and I'm not much for Lit or reading. But if you do your reading, you should get a B or an A despite the boring and inconsistent lectures.
I didn't love this class, but Dr. Litte is a kind old man. He seems a little rough at first... but he is really nice. Make sure you edit your papers and always use your best handwriting. He's pretty interesting if you go into it with a good additude!
Brucers is by far the most interesting, smart, well rounded, talented professor i have ever had the pleasure of learning from. i love it when he says "Who are you? Why?" and i love our mutual love for desperate housewives!!!!! God is love...Rev Run
Definitely take him for Intro to Lit, but NOT Composition. He tells you what you need to know for each quiz the day before you take the quiz. Sometimes he is forgetful, but he really does mean well. You'll really get a kick out of his lectures. He likes essays and as long as you have some emotion towards the reading he gives you an A.
The best of instructors are hated the most because they actually make you do work and challenge your intellectual capacity. Litte is a brilliant man and my peers who don't understand him are some of the most dense students I've come across. If you want an easy A and don't want to learn, than please don't take this class.

Had him last year for Comp112 and he "lost" my research paper resulting in a D. Had him for intro to lit this year and is much easier, don't take him if you aren't willing to go to class every day because he goes over all the reading in class

I love this class!Dr. Litte is vary brilliant. I am very oppinionated and Dr. Litte is probably the only teacher that has not kicked out my essays due to the controversial oppinions that I have. I do not understand why so many students do not like him, but if you want a good writing class, you should take him. Just be mindful you will have to work.

Too old to be a professor anymore. He tries to articulate, but doesn't succeed. It's a very boring class. The tests are straight out of the book. Classes just suck to sit through.
