Mr. Page was very encouraging. He helped me get over my fear of public speaking. He gives you a good grade just for effort.

This teacher is cool and he is very helpful. His class is not hard and don't worry speaking infront of the class isn't that bad. Especially if you take this class with him! It's a fun class.

He is a great teacher who inspires his students in and out of class. if he sees you around campus he still remembers you and says HI!! All you do in that class is hear his speech examples that help you guide you how to do your speech. oh and also you do book work which is really simple because he gives you the page numbers where the answers are at.

mr. page is awesome!! he explains things great and will help you individually. he helped me with my public speaking (which i had trouble with before i took his class) and his words of encouragement just make you want to do better in class and relieve some of nervousness that comes from public speaking. mr. page is really one for the books.

This is one of the most fun classes I've ever taken. He makes everyone feel comfortable while performing speeches and even allows one-on-one speeches. There are no assigned dates for speeches, however there is a deadline, so you choose when you're ready to perform your speech. The progression of speeches is gradual and fair as well.

Very fun class. No pressure at all from proffessor. He is very understanding cares about each and every of his students. It was a very easy class.

This class may seem like a life threatening class but, it’s not. You learn to become a human as a whole. You learn public speaking, which is not easy skill to have. I feel better about speaking in public. I feel like a natural with this new skill of mine.

Great teacher. You only need book for one week if you can get all study guides done. I did them in one day and turned them in as he asked for them. Books are on loan in library for two hours. Speeches are easy and fun he doesnt push you and he even lets you perform your speech alone. Great teacher overall.

for this class you will require the book for rougly mostly the quizzes also to learn a couple of things that will help out to build your speech. I started the class full of fear and nervousness. But by the end of the semester I knew how to give a good speech. If you are a shy person TAKE HIM! Professor page is awesome, he is funny and his classes go by super fast. He expects his students to be in class and participate. He gives super easy study guides and quizzes at the beginning of the term but stops giving them before mid term. There is no mid term test, you're just expected to do all your speeches and attend class.

Prof. Page was a great teacher, really helps you learn speaking skills. I had a couple personal problems and he was really understanding once I communicated with them. He's a super nice and sweet man, would recommend this class to anyone!

Mr. Page hates failing students and he will give you many chances in order for you to pass his class. In addition, if you need advice or someone to talk to Mr. Page will adopt you like his own child. Best teacher ever!

he is such a sweet hear an amazing man most people call him grandpa or papa page he isn't a hard teacher but he does expect his students to do the work which is some projects in-front of the class which is easy. if frighten of speaking in public just concentrate on him and you will do fine :)

Mr page will not just give you a grade, you earn it. He gives you four speeches and if you do your hw and take in consideration his lectures and implement them into your speeches then you will do well in his class. He is such an inspirational & motivational professor, he want to equip you with the right tools for success. He is a GEM in this valley

Professor Page made taking a speech class fun! His syllabus is pretty cut and dry and he makes sure you know what he expects from you. He is extremely understanding and caring, but he still expects you to put forth the effort and show him you're not just blowing the class off. If he sees you're trying, you'll be fine.

Really easy class. Mr. Page cares a lot about his students and he is very flexible with everyone. He gives you a lot of time to prepare for your speeches, and even offers you the option to deliver your speech in private but some points are deducted. There's no way you can flunk this class.

Professor Page is by far the BEST professor i have had here at IVC. Not only does he care about his students, but he is willing to put in the time and effort to help you succeed. He's an easy going guy and his class was always enjoyable to attend. Do not hesitate to take a class taught by Page, you will not regret it. :)

HIGHLY UNDERSTANDING AND COMPASSIONATE

Mr. Page is a really good teacher who really cares for his students. Makes you face your fears but doesn't pushes you, he encourages you.

He seriously cares about his students. He doesn't pressure you in speaking in front of the entire class. He let's students who are too shy/nervous/have really bad anxiety do their speeches in his office. There are only four speeches in the entire semester - which isn't so bad once you see how easygoing and awesome he is.

Mr. Page will work with you no matter what. He motivates you to be conformable in speech class. Homework is super easy, but some take time to think of the subject. He inspired me to be better in my communication skills. Mr. Page is really caring and a lot of people respect him. His Lectures are super funny. There is not much Homework done.

YOU WILL LOVE PAGE AND THE CLASS. He's very caring, he help you throughout the whole semester. The class is super easy all you have to do is do your speeches, and remember to keep eye contact for your speeches! Hes very understanding. you will love him.

Professor Page is one of the best professors I have had so far. His class is very easy, but of course you have to do your part. He gives out a study guide for each quiz and it is exactly what the quiz looks like. The final exam is very easy since it is just an essay about your opinion of the class.

Great professor, he loves his job. Very easy class just make sure you always present your speeches. No tests are given except like 3 quizzes which are not hard if you do your study guides. Highly recommended.

Mr. Page is a great professor. He considers people who do not speak English as a first language. The grades are fair. You must complete all your study guides and prepare for your speeches.

In pursuit of my degree, this was a required class. At the beginning I was concerned about public speaking, but after taking the class with Mr. Page, that is no longer the case. He will teach you and demonstrate exactly what he wants you to do. he is fair in his grading. Remember it is a speech class, so get ready to speak in front of your peers..

Professor Page is the real deal, he is a loving, caring, and understanding professor. Attendance and the book is mandatory for the study guide, quizzes, and speeches but if you are on top of these things, you will do just fine in his class.

Registered late & out of almost 10 teachers i emailed to allow me to crash, he was the first to respond out of 3. Most caring and genuine professor i've had by far. Really cares for students & wants to see them succeed in his class so failing isn't an option. Super easy & only took 2 quizzes throughout the semester!

He is a great teacher to have and his class is really easy to pass, so most people pass with a B or an A. But If you really want an A, then be prepared to act like an A student, because even if you got an A on everything, if you were mostly tardy or absent for a good chunk of the semester, he will knock you down to a B.

I could write an entire essay about how great Mr. Page is. Mr. Page is VERY understanding and is willing to help you work out your fears and problems - I mean that to its fullest extent. I absolutely loved Mr. Page's class! Even if there were days where nothing much happened except for speeches, it was definitely worth it to take the class. He was very inspirational and gave good advice on giving speeches in any topic. It requires effort but it's totally worth it and he understands our circumstances. He sends important emails, too.

Hes the best teacher Ive had so far. Hes funny and interesting and is VERY understanding how tough it can be to present a speech in class and hell work with you even offering to come to his office to present if youre more comfortable. Professor Page is a really good professor. The speeches assigned are easy and fun to present. If you present your speech early, you have the option not to show up until the next speech. Their is little homework and quizzes are easy if you review for a bit. I recommend you take this class.

I took Bruce Pages' class my freshmen year & now I am a junior which I can safely say his class is still one of my favorites. He reaches a level of caring you cannot ever get upset with & he isn't one of those over the top pampering nice people, he keeps it real. Professor Page uses no textbook, some vocabulary quizzes & presentations R super easy.
