EASY class! I went to class once... did all the mini tests multiple times, copying and pasting the questions. Crammed for the final... and got an A! The funny thing is, by memorizing all the questions... you get a really good grasp on the information!

Easy Class. Very convenient online class. For the final i recomend takig all 13 mini quizes until you feel condifent with each mini quiz. You will get a easy B if you re-take the parctice mini quiz and if you try harder you will get a A. I got an A-. Take him for marketing if you don't have a lot time and need something convenient.

This class is pretty simple... you do the 13 mini open book quizzes online and then take the final. Attending class is not mandatory but it is in your best interest to go. Watching the lectures online is SO boring. Overall he is a really good teacher and the class was easy

I took this class online, and I wasn't able to attend any lectures in person still I found, watching them online was relatively painless (as far as lectures go). Clear, well organized, fair grading, totally do-able.

This class is mostly online. Funny professor who can make you laugh. You have to be on it though for this class. Easy to fall behind in the first few weeks. Mini tests are doable but the final is brutal. Do the practice tests! All in all, info was relevant & I liked the class.

Good class. Even though its online, you still feel the strong influence of the instructor. Great comm. Lot of material. Definitely read the book and view/attend lectures. Don't fall behind on the Mini-Quizzes. Make sure you read the syllabus word for word and understand it. A lot of people asked questions that were easily answered in that document.

Took the online version of the class. You don't need to even use the textbook. You have to take these mini quizzes which are based on the video lectures, and you get to take them as many times as you want. Make sure you get perfect scores on them all because that way you can fail the final and still get a b. Thats what I did.

MEnn!! I loved this class, it was easy. Just one complain , I miss one due date on the mini test , and that messed me up. I got a C , which I did not diserve it because there was a problem with the due date! This class was easy. You have unlimited attempts for two weeks a quiz is posted. The quizzes overall are worth 50% of your grade and the final exam that you take in the computer lab is 50%. He gives some extra credit near the end, but it only helps a little. The book is useless, never had to buy it. Just remember all the answers to the quizzes.

Take this class with this professor, he is interesting, the lectures are easy and informative to watch, and the tests are direct and to the point. The final was closed book and notes, but as long as you do well on all the previous work, you should easily pass.

This class is a really interesting but you really need to pay attention you should definitely go to class and do the mini tests all the time. The final is extremely hard and also very hard to prepare for you need to study your best. its 50% mini quiz and 50% final

I took the 431 class online, it is easy as pissing on your finger. No attendance, no text book no nothing. 50% of your grade are quizzes and you can take them unlimited # of times to get them perfect. If you got them all perfect you need....20/50 questions right on the final to pass. Final test is based solely on the quizzes. Easy as hell!

You must train yourself to memorize all the mini test questions for the final. That's what I did 3 days before the final. Scored 10's on my mini tests and a 82% on my final. Overall grade A-

Professor Robertson seems passionate about teaching and he has a lot of industry experience that he is willing to share. He relates well to students. His lectures are dynamic and interesting. In the end it is difficult to get an A in his class, but he gives all students every opportunity to earn it if they want it. I highly recommend him.

this class was pretty easy i think i only watched like 5 of the lectures out of the whole semester and still got a B+ lol going over the study guides and taking the review tests over and over will really help you in the end for the final the more times you take the quizzes and reviews the easier the final will be for you

I love this professor! He is SO easy to listen to (and funny!). Before this class I knew nothing about marketing and now I have decided to add on a marketing minor to my major. Cool teacher based on just watching the first 5 streamed lectures. Buying the textbook isn't necessary and neither are the lectures. Just print out study guides, get 10's on all the quizzes within their 2-week spans (unlimited attempts but timed). Dedicate an entire week to study the mini tests prior to the final and it'll be a breeze.

The homework is not so much a set of quizzes as some sort of Pavlovian-conditioning experiment gone bad... seems to be an unlimited number of test questions so no matter how many times you try the quiz, you'll be sure to find new & more poorly-written questions on the final. Just keep pecking away at the quizzes & don't expect equality here.

Traditional live lecture or watch it streamed. Dr Robertson provides Word text outline from his slides, so you can reformat or reduce to only include specific material found in mini-tests. Then take the mini-tests over and over until you have been exposed to every potential question - of which 50 will be on the final - and which I aced.

This class is easy. I would advise that you should get 100% in all mini tests so that you've 50% overall before the final. And then for another 50%, just memorize hard from each mini tests and get atleast 20/50 to pass the class. Spend a whole week memorizing all the quesiotns because he's gonna ask 50 questions out of 1300 pool of questions

He's smart, he's witty, he knows his stuff, I thought he was crazy at first, but really my favorite online class this semester. I slacked off for the first 3 weeks and thought I missed a bunch of quizzes and have to drop it. Robertson is passionate and makes the online lectures enjoyable to watch. Quizzes can be retaken until you get a perfect score in a 2-week window. Reading the book isn't necessary; all the answers to quizzes are on his PPs. 50 M/C question final is worth 50% of your grade which means that each question is worth 1% of your grade! This was my first Marketing class. Professor made it really interesting. Took it online and probably the only lectures I didn't dread watching. Almost looked forward to them as a break from the others. Take mini tests until you get 10's. I crammed 1300+ questions days before the final. Wouldn't recommend it. I am taking this class online but the teacher is great! His lectures a very fun yet educational. If you watch it, you don't even need to read the book much. AMAZING teacher, every online lecture was like a comedy show that made sure you would remember his material. Really funny guy who is super helpful and wants his students to achieve the best grade they can. The.hardest.class.ever!!! I ended up getting a decent grade in class and on the 50% final, but the final being 50% was crazy. I would study morning, noon, and night. I had no interest in marketing prior to the class, but he made it fun and interesting. Life changing - you market yourself all the time. Take it with him if you want to really learn.

Easy, stress free class. Grasping the concepts will make you memorize. It is only hard if you decide to cram in all the studying right before the final. Textbooks not necessary, never even touched mine. Watch the lectures and keep retaking those minitests.

This lectures are extremely hilarious. I laugh everytime I tune in. I swear, it's like comedy hour. Other than that, he provides all the information to you. The tests are a bit tricky. It's not a hard class per say, but the grading system can make it that way (50% grade = quizzes, 50% grade = final).

Robertson is a fair and reasonable man. He can also be humorous sometimes in his own way.

Weekly quizes with unlimited attempts. All multiplechoice. Basically, you have 100% going into final but final is 50% so you need 20/50 on final to get a C. Very doable. I got a 42/50 on my final and received an A. All questions on final are from test bank from quizes. Very interesting online lectures and despite not a lot of work, learned a lot

he is by far my most favorite prof, easiest, kindest and just a great teacher, study guides always online go over exactly what you need to know practice test and finals semester round. you pretty much can't fail unless you want to. This man is truly an incredible teacher and i'd take another class with him if the opportunity shows. TAKE HIM!!!

Quite an easy class. Make sure to keep retaking the weekly mini-quizzes over and over until you get a perfect score. The final was pretty tough but manageable. Never ever used text book. 13 Mini Tests (50%) and Final (50%). Each mini test has unlimited attempts, so you can take them as many time as you can. Just keep take mini tests until you remember almost everything, and you will be okay for the Final.

You have the option to take in class or online. Keep doing the review quizzes throughout the semester to refresh your memory cause cramming at the end will just stress you out. I didn't even open the textbook, you can do without it.

He gives you a 10 question mini test which you can retake. so it's ridiculous if you do not get 100% on them. Having an option of going to the lecture or just doing everything online was a great option! Never had a need for the text book, so I wouldn't buy one.

Grades are based on mini tests & his final. The final is 50 questions from any of the mini tests. Take each mini test at least 5-7 times so you really see all the questions. I really started studying a week before my final test & got 3950 an 89 in the course. I recommend get plenty of sleep and remain calm the day of the final! DO NOT CRAM.

The class wasn't too difficult during the semester. There were 13 mini tests with unlimited tries. The final was 50% of the class grade and you had about 1300 questions to study (from the mini tests). If you learn all of those you will get an easy A.

13 mini tests, 10 questions per mini test, 2 week timeframe to complete each mini test, 10 minutes max time allowed per mini test attempt. You can take them as many times as you would like, the last attempt is graded, not neccessarily the highest score!! Mini tests are worth 50% of grade, other 50% of grade is FINAL EXAM. NO HW, no projects!

Professor Robertson's class is an easy B. Don't plan on learning anything. All mini quiz answers are online. The final, which is 50% of your grade, is pretty difficult. This teacher isn't hard. The first video lecture, he explains exactly what you need to do to pass. Take the quizzes until you've gotten 100%. For the final, I made flash cards of all of the questions on each quiz and I did just fine. NOT a hard class. Just actually do the lecture.

all you have to do is memorize every single mini quiz each week! It is a ton of questions to memorize, but it's super easy and doable. The reason why you have to memorize them is because the final consists of these exact questions and answers. Super easy. Just time consuming to sit down and memorize a pool of about 1000 questions.

Do all the MINI tests getting 100% on each one. There's really no excuse to not achieve that. The MINI tests are worth 50% of your grade and the final is a combination of all the tests in 50 questions, also worth 50% of your grade. Don't stress out about the final. Just read over your MINI/Review tests and you should be fine.

Make sure you do every mini test and get 100% in every one! This is very important. I missed 2 and got some 8-9/10's, I could've gotten a way higher grade than what I got.

ONLINE CLASS: One quiz every week. He uploads a lecture each week which is roughly the length of a 80 min class. All the of the answers for the quizzes are in the lectures but it is a good idea to read the text. Plenty of extra credit. Be sure to get 10/10 on all quizzes, you only have quizzes and one in-person final. Pretty easy class overall.

What I did for midterm: Studied 2-3 hours on each mini-test day before midterm. Wrote down all the questions I got as if they were notes (didn't copy word by word, I personalized it in a way I understood). I got a 96% on the midterm, but this may not work for you. Don't procrastinate to the last day. Earn consistent, MULTIPLE 10s on each mini-test.

Easiest class Ive ever taken! Make sure to ace all the mini quizzes (unlimited attempts for two weeks from opening); 50% total. Choice of midterm and final and the higher grade will be kept and contribute to 50% of total. I only took the midterm. Quizlet is your friend! Find cummulative multiple choice there! I only cram 3 days before midterm :)

The best and easiest professor at SFSU. Make sure you get 100% on all mini-tests, it's unlimited attempts so there should be no reason why to fail!. A tip from me is that take each mini-test minimum ten times and keep the question bank. The midterm/final will have the SAME questions. Prepare from the beginning! Easy A.

Make sure you view all the online lectures and have some basic understanding of the concept. Make sure you get 10s for all the mini quizzes (unlimited attempts for the mini quizzes) since it accounts for 50% of your grade and as for the final ( also, 50% of your grade), do the practice examination a lot of times.

Funny guy with a real grasp of his subject. Unfortunately, he doesn't teach anything else or I would take him again. He is very passionate about the course and makes listening to online lectures so much easier. There's just quizzes once a week BUT you can take them an unlimited amount of times.

First off, the material is difficult. The key to passing is to pass the midterm because unless you have an A or B before the final, you won't pass. There are 13 quizzes and 2 or 3 EC. This professor was always available for students and answered all emails promptly. Although it was an online class I felt that he was attentive to all his students.

Great teacher. Midterm and final will be heavy, so you should study ahead. Make sure you get all good grades on the mini tests, because you have unlimited chances to do them before the due dates. If you get a high score on the midterm, you don't need to do the final. Take his class!

Easy class! I bought the book but never ended up using it. I basically watched all his lectures and took notes. For the midterm, I studied all his mini quizzes (that's basically the midterm) and got an A so I don't have to take the final. He uses the same bank as his quizzes for his tests so keep taking those mini quizzes and study those! Easy A.

My favorite professor this semester (Fall 2018). Professor Robertson lectures were funny and I was learning at the same time. He uses real-life examples and is open to new ideas. He shows interesting quotes at the beginning of each class which I found inspirational. Attendance was not mandatory, but I went anyway because I enjoy his lectures.

Pass the midterm and final with a good 50%-64% and youll pass with a B or C. Easy Professor just get it over with. You cant fail his class if you pass all quizzes.

Like everyone else said, no reason not to get 100% on the quizzes. The book isn't needed. Lots of material to be covered on the randomized questions in the midterm and final so quizlet it up. If you're lucky, you'll get questions you've seen before. Although his online lectures are good, I really wish he'd switch up the random question bank system

Prof Robertson changed the way the cumulative exams are done. If you get an A on the midterm exam that only covers the first 12 chapters, you don't have to take the final exam that covers all 23 chapters. That should be motivation enough to study hard for the midterm. Cram the week before and you'll be fine! Robertson is strict, but supportive.

so many people didn't study for the midterm and ended up failing and end up coming here and blaming the prof for their 2 brain cells--its an easy class and he tells u how to get an A. U don't use the book so do't waste money on it, quizlet the quizzes, and memorize the questions for the final. if you can't do that, then just drop out.

Easy A but still reqs WORK. graded by 2 things: 50% mini and 50% midterm/final. with UNLIMITED mini retakes with 10 min breaks, there is no reason for <100%. if you take it enough, youll memorize the q&a's. During the midterm, itll be a walk in the park. dont complain about the test bank. this is still a class, not an A handout.

This professor is plane awesome. The best of the best. Very funny, coherent, articulate, creative, great showmanship, and many more! You don't need to attend the class to get a good grade, what you need is a good memory for the quizzes and the exams. But I go there anyway because he provides massive amount of insights that are genuinely useful.

MKTG 431: He uploads video lectures online so you don't need to attend in person. After each lecture, theres a mini test each week with unlimited attempts. You won't need the book. If you score above 88% on the midterm, you don't have to take the final. This class is a pretty easy A to me although you still need to put effort.

he has a weird set up for quizzes but other than that a super easy class. one midterm and final but if you get over an 88% on the midterm you don't have to take the final. we just had 1 quiz every week that was 10 questions. offers extra credit. I would definetly take him again.

I took his class online so very easy. The lectures are alright. He tries to make the lectures fun but not really fun for me. Study hard for midterm so you don't need to take the final.

This professor is very passionate about the subject matter and gives good lectures. Need to also read the textbook, but he actually wrote it and It's one of the few professors I'm not mad that they're using their own textbook. Keep up with assignments and you'll get an A (I was missing some of the weekly quizzes). Would definitely have him again!

His class is a hybrid so you can take it in class or online as his lectures in class are recorded. He has a lot of quizzes but they are all 10 questions. Questions are completely random from a bank he pulls from. Allows you to skip the final if you get 88 on the midterm.

He provided prompt feedback after each weekly quiz (just try and you'll get credit) He also clearly defined each course objective as well as made each assignment requirement very clear. The test are based on the quiz questions so studying wasn't difficult at all. Super funny and easy to approach professor.

For marketing 431 , he is only option. 50% are from Mini Test which is around 13 with Unlimited attempt and 2 exam consist of 50%. Its easy to get at least Bs but if you study good from his avg of 1000 questions , which you can find on mini quiz or quizlet you can end up getting solid A. Study and dont miss any mini quiz bcoz its very important

He wrote a book which is used for the class, he explains concepts are easy to understand and there not a lot to read, very straight forward. Unlimited test attempts and the last attempt grade counts. Just read and do well on the mini tests and you will get an A!

Sad this is professor Robertsons last semester at state! Hes funny guy. The tests are graded heavily but if you get 100% on the mini tests youll pass. Thank you prof for always making me laugh!

I loved Bruce's class. I took it online & it's really easy. One quiz a week and a midterm and final. If you get a 88%+ on the midterm, the final is optional. The midterm and final questions are basically the quiz questions, so I'd recommend saving them. He posts recordings of his in class lectures, enjoyable to watch. Would recommend his class.
