Great class. A perfect balance between challenging and easy. He is organized and involves his students in the lecuture. There are 3 tests plus cases to breif and weekly homework. This is the best professor i have had at the university so far.

Easy A for me. He keeps the class interesting. Not hard at all. Just go to class, do the homework, read the book, and ask questions. I studied less than an hour for midterms & about 2 hours for the final to earn my A. If you do what your supposed to, you'll have no problems getting a good grade.

Going to class b/c it helps your grade. He has stories which helps you with the exam. Do all the homework. Study the guide before the exam and ull be fine. This was an average class and I would recommend him.

One of the best professors at CSUN. I took him for 280 and now for 308. Prof. Zucker is very helpful and has a great sense of humor. He explains the information very clearly and gives great examples. He calls on people in class so you have to pay attention and brief your cases though. Tests are okay. Study by reading the book.

He is the only professor that made a lasting impression in the entire business college. I took 3 classes with him and 1 indepedent studies course (legal clinic).

He makes the subject of business law very interesting. He definetly know his material and has some very entertaining scenarios. He was one of my favorite teachers and was very helpful and informative.

Great teacher! Exams are based on the lectures and homework is to brief the cases but you don't turn them in. Really helps students understand the topics by relating to them to real world topics and he goes out of his way to make you understand if you ask questons. Doesn't get much better than Professor Zucker.

Professor Zucker is the best professor I had so far at CSUN. He is very interested in the students learning. He makes sure we understand the material before going on. Tests can be hard, but based on lectures and reading.

He made me want to be a blaw major. he is funny, intelligent and the best teacher I have ever had at CSUN. his tests are directly from lectures, and only homework is case briefs that you do not turn in. he is the best!!!!

I very much enjoy Profssor Zucker's real estate class. He is clear and very strait forward. Tests are hard, though.

Definitely the best class I've taken at CSUN. It's not easy, you have to do the reading, brief the cases, go to class, participate, and study. But as long as you do that you're fine. He likes to push everyone equally, and he calls on people if they look unprepared! In the end, I absolutely loved the class.

PACE: Two tests including the final (m/c and essay), weekly case briefings, and participation definitely counts. He is a pretty good law professor but don’t expect to get an A. Average appeared to be a B or high C.

Nice guy. Loved the class, good book. Very easy to study and understand the subject. BUT YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP TO CLASS AND YOU HAVE TO DO THE HOMEWORK (which is light and easy anyway).

Excellent Teacher! He knows and cares for the subject he teaches. (real estate law) I learned a lot in the class. He's not super easy but if you do the work he is a fair teacher.

Great professor, great lectures, good sense of humor (though he is not a comedian in class- he is serious), great book (very easy to understand), homework is not collected, TAKES role (but random so your name may not be called)- easy tests- easy paper due at end of semester- He is just an overall great guy. His hair piece is funny though =)

If you read the book, which is excellent, you will do fine. He is an OK teacher, but a little disconnected from the class. Seeks participation, but when you participate and say something he is not looking for, he completely ignores you without any feedback. Tests are fair and not tricky overall.

Don't listen to the last comment - I know it must be the guy who sits in the front row and acts like he should be teaching it. This class is fun and the professor is great. I hope front row guy is not in any of my other classes.

I don't know what these complainers are talking about. Its the easiest class. I didnt even read half the time and still got an B! His tests are exsactly like the lecture. Just pay attention. on occation he acts like a jackass/know it all. but those are on his "bad days". for the most part he is laid back and i recommend him.

It's a fairly easy class if you just read the book, skim through the WSJ, & go to most of the classes. I was worried because there's only a midterm, final, & paper... so not much room for error. I'm only an average student, work full time, & I was able to pull off an A-. I guess his sarcasm can come off as rude at times, but overall he's a nice guy

He is not AS easy as everyone is making him out to be but hes not horrible either. 1 Midterm, Final, and Paper. He grades ONLY on grammar as far as paper goes (as if he was an english teacher) you could totally BS on the topic. Midterm was tough but final was an easy A, even for slackers. Has his funny days and his gruumppy days. All around hes ok.

Midterm, Paper, and Final. Midterm was pretty hard. Little confusing. 5 page paper (he grades grammar) I got a 7 out of 10 and three of my other friends did too. Final was pretty easy. Attendance is crucial - he takes roll (sign-on sheet). Participation grade consist of volunteering to discuss a case or end of chapter questions. I recommend him!

Midterm was tough, the 5 pg paper was graded on grammar and not content, and the final was easy. Go to class and read what was assigned before and do the cases, he will check sometimes who is keeping up with the reading. Not as hard as I thought it would be.

The teacher is smart, interesting and can be a jerk and his midterm is hard. Listen to his lectures and read the book and you will be fine.

I loved this professor. His lectures were very enjoyable and he talked a lot about real life experiences. His midterms weredifficult, but to do well in them you have to read the book! Read it over and over until you have it embedded in your head. The final wasn't as hard as he went over exactly what's going to be on it. Got an A. Highly recommended

What an awesome teacher this guy was! He shares many real-life examples to help you understand the material. He's a big fan of Hawaii Five-0 and the Brady Bunch. There were 3 exams: 2 midterms and a final. His exams can be challenging, but that's because law is a challenging subject. Bottom-line: just take this professor. :D

He was such a great professor, one of my favorite of all time. He really spends time teaching the material and really gets you to understand everything. I want to become a Lawyer just because of his class.

awesome professor. actually makes business law interesting and knows his stuff of course, being a lawyer. not an easy class cuz tests r pretty difficult but he grades very easy. only thing that was annoying was the attendance cuz it is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY. definitely recommend to all business majors

Amazing professor, the best i've had at CSUN and now about to take 2 more classes with him. Explained things with real life examples. His class always fills up quick so if you have a chance you should take him.

Prof. Zucker seemed to really enjoy what he was teaching which translated into an enjoyable class. One thing that was fun was the continuing use of Mike Brady as an example of ethics. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the assigned seating. Overall Prof. Zucker did a very good job.

The professor makes class interesting and relates the information to real life events to solidify its purpose. If unsure about ANYTHING, just ASK, and the professor will take the time to answer! 1 midterm and 1 final (both are heavily weighted), also 1 short paper. Study everything, flashcards really help.

Prof. Zucker is very knowledgable, and relates the topic to real life examples, so it is easy to understand, attendance is must!! His tests are difficult, so make sure you understand the materials, the terms, and read the book!!!!

You can tell he was a bit of smart-ass in his younger days. Us smart-asses can identify each other. Having said that, dude is extremely knowledgeable pertaining to business law and breaks it down for the average layperson. His tests are written i lawyer-ese (4 same questions with 12 words changed). Classes are actually fun to attend.

Make sure you do good on your first page of your paper, as he grades based on the first page and doesnt care the rest. Tests are okay, as long as you read and study the materials, should be good.

Professor Zucker is the best professor I have had at CSUN. My business law 280 professor was so mean and difficult, leaving me not wanting to take a business law class at CSUN again. But Professor Zucker changed all that. He was kind and concerned about the students. His lectures were funny and helped us to remember the material. Take him!

His class has a curve. 2 exams, 1 paper. Participation/attendance counts. Everything on the exam is on the textbook and materials he provides for you AHEAD OF TIME. Midterm and Final are 30% EACH of your grade. Paper is 20%. Participation 20%. He has a great personality. Understanding and caring, not abrasive like some attorneys.

I took his class for special topics in criminal justice; it's his first year under the criminal justice department and he did great! We studied white collar crime and he def knows the material from his own experience as a lawyer. Midterm, final and one final paper about a white collar offender. You would have to TRY TO FAIL.

He's very knowledgeable and respected, his class is not hard because he reviews for exams and has clear and concise criteria. He does take attendance so you have to show up in order to pass, but you prob wouldnt be able to pass if you didnt anyway. He can be funny at times, and is very respectful and approachable. All in all really good professor.

Zucker is probably one of the most qualified professors to teach criminal law and white collar crime. (I took him for both classes) I got an A in crim law and an A- in white collar crime. It wasnt easy, but definitely not extremely hard. Put the work in, make sure you understand concepts before the exam. He's not very clear sometimes

What a great professor! Professor Zucker is brilliant and is focused on teaching his students about different aspects of justice. His lectures and guest speakers were inspirational and introduced another side to the legal system. The class is consisted of 1 long midterm and 1 group project which is your final. You must show up to class!

Prof. Zucker is a very kind professor. 2 Exams, 1 Presentation, and 1 Paper are the basis for your grade along with attendance. Don't skip class! He is very patient with students, so the only reason why someone might fail any of his tests is because they didn't do the readings and didn't go to review sessions. Not a tough grader at all.

Great professor all around and cares about his students. He just wants people to participate and show up. Definitely would take him again. He is keeping up with student needs so if you have a problem or question, ASK!!!

This was a class about people getting treated unfairly by the justice system. We did a lot of online reading, had weekly quizzes (which were easy and online) and a paper. He also takes attendance. Just show up, take the easy quizzes, and write the paper. No reason to get lower than a B unless you really don't try.

Professor Zucker is a great teacher. I took him for 2 classes. His tests are pretty much the quizzes. No extra credit. One paper, but it is pretty simple.
