class is easy and fun plus she has a HOT accent which makes it a lot easier to pay attention...she does the homework in class with you and is always in a joking good mood and is always happy to help you out...only bad thing i can really say is she tries like crazy to hold you in class the entire time, which isnt always a bad thing

Wow what a great teacher. Had one on one help considering there wasn't that many kids, never really looked inside the book, and was always very helpful when i needed it most.

I have her for Pre-Algebra, she is prolly the best math teacher ever. I hate maths but her class is the first math class in my life that i really enjoy. She will always help you and often lets us go early too. Trust me she is going to be one of the best teachers you will ever have in your life.

Online. 16 wk sem. Great teacher! The software used in the class is also amazing, it made learning so much easier. E-mails were replied to within 24 hours. The only problem I had was the required 30 mile drive to the on-campus tests, but she is very understanding and willing to help should complications in your personal life conflict with school.

Mrs. Santiago is a gorgeous Puerto Rican professor with an AMAZING sense of humor! She made math fun and easy. She is willing to help and do what it takes to be successful as long as she sees that you are putting in the effort! Very flexible within reasoning also :)

Very good teacher and concerned about her students. She offers opportunities to review in person prior to some tests and the final exam. I began to understand math much more clearly because of her teaching tools. I took this course online and passed which is great because math is DIFFICULT for me. Teaches online as if in a classroom.

She is a very nice professor. Willing to help. Homework is through MyMathLab, so it's required. Everything was done through that, though tests were given on paper sometimes. Do the reviews, they will help clarify what will be on the test. She'll curve if possible, but if someone makes a 100, no chance (very doable). If you need Stats, take her!!!!!

Makes lessons easy to learn and gives great ways to retain them. Drops one of your test grades (out of 5 tests) and does a lot of multiple choice questions on tests. This professor is so amazing. I took her online class during the summer and made a 97! The homework was VERY time consuming and difficult but her tests that were on campus were just like the reviews. This professor is very clear cut in her instructions and expectations. Do the test reviews and you will pass the exams. Do the work given and you should have no problem passing the course even if math is not your strong point. The Mystatlab program has a lot of good learningteaching videos and power points that saved me through this course.

Statistics is a tough class online. Not a lot of instruction. If you do this class online be sure you can learn how to figure stuff out. Reviews she gives are almost the same as the tests, just different numbers. She is a helpful teacher. I hate math but still got an 85.

Prof was super-helpful and great to work with (especially around the snow and ice closures), very laid-back. Tests and quizzes are pretty easy. MyMathLab does most of teaching, though.

I took MATH 1342 online in a 6-week Summer session. This class was SO EASY. The lowest test grade I got was a 93. There are 3 tests, two were at the SE campus and then the final was comprehensive and online. Teacher was great, really wanted you to succeed. I'm horrible at math and this was a breeze. Only con: MUST USE TUTOR. In my case that is!

This class is easy if you're good at teaching yourself material.

I took this class online and she is very easy. If you do the test review you will do well in the test. She brings same or just slightly different questions on the test as on the test review. Take her!!!!

Professor Santiago was so awesome. She lays out the entire class for you. I took it online and did have to go to the campus for two of the test which was a bit of a bummer, but for the tests just study the review and you will be FINE. Super easy. There are two different days you can take the on campus tests. SHE PROVIDES ONLINE TEXTBOOK AT NO COST!

I am most certainly the WORST math student ever, and she made complete sense out of random numbers and letters. Do the homework and show up, you CAN pass math! Professor Satiago made the whole learning new math or math that I haven't seen in a while, very easy to learn and she takes a lot of care and pride to teach her students intermediate Algebra

Made Stats doable!

Mrs. Santiago is the best instructor I've ever had out of ANY instructors from college. That says a lot since I have been in school for several years. She is funny and makes the material interesting. I had her for statistics. I am horrible at math and she helps you understand everything. She works out problems and answers all questions.

There is a lot of tests and a lot of assignments. I took elementary statistics over the summer so it was at an extremely fast rate, but overall it was good! The power points and videos provided help a lot! As long as you pay attention to those, you'll make good grades. Best part, you get two chances for each test and on all the assignments!

I took her during the summer and loved it. I am so bad at math but with her class I did very well. Would recommend to anyone who struggles but be aware that it is online and you may need tutoring. I dreaded stat but this class made it so bearable.

She teaches kinda fast but as long as you show up for class and participate, you'll do just fine! She makes it easy for you to communicate with her. I'll be taking her for my next math class as well.

I absolutely LOVE Mrs. Santiago. She is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She gives plenty of examples, goes over the work clearly, gives extra credit, and she always pauses and asks her students if there are any questions. Great explanations on Algebra concepts. I haven't taken an Algebra class in over 30 years and she was amazing! I would definitely want her as an instructor again. (Great sense of humor too)

You could make at least a B even if you knew nothing about math. Why? She gives you baby steps through every problem and explains things clearly until you understand. Most of her tests are not too hard as long you take care of the reviews. Very compassionate and approachable professor. Always keeps you updated on lectures even if you're absent.

She give great lectures but moves through fast. However, she is willing to stop and explain. I found the test difficult but the homework was easy w/multiple attempts. Since I never made it to the pop quizzes (which was at the first 5 min of class) and I was a bad test taker, my grade was not good. I ended up dropping!

She doesn't give extra credit but if she notices your effort then she will bump your grades up a bit. I took this course online & it wasn't hard at all. You have multiple attempts to get an A on the homework & her test reviews are almost exactly the same as the test! As a guide to better understanding the material, she posts YouTube videos & PP's!

She is very straightforward with assignments and replies quickly to emails. Math is hard so the course is somewhat difficult but this professor does a great job at keeping it organized and easy to follow. I didn't use the textbook but we were required to use the access code to submit homework.

I am the worst at math, but this class was actually doable. I ended up with a C, but that is because I failed the final. She is great with e-mail response and the class expectations were clear. I would definitely take her again if I had to! She gave an extra 5 points on the final if you evaluate the class at the end.

I took this class in the summer ONLINE, and it was not easy. She makes you work for your grade but will help you in any way possible. The exams were proctored but if you study that shouldn't worry you. I also had lost my brother during this time, and the professor was so caring to accommodate me and make sure I succeeded. I would take her again!

I wish she could teach all of my math classes, but Professor Santiago is seriously the BEST math teacher! Print the notes from bb, and just fill in while she lectures! She gave out a TON of extra credit, and we had some multiple choice tests, which she provides the formulas! On top of that she is HILARIOUS, which makes the class that much better!

Her tests are proctored, but dont let that scare you, this class is hard regardless who you take. Her test exams are EXACTLY like the test review, so it's really helpful.

Professor Santiago was amazing you can do the homework as many times as you need until you get the grade you want up until the due date. this course was online, so it may not be a perfect representation of the course itself, in person. Online, however, this course was tough. not having easy access to help when taking a math course is difficult. When reaching out to her, she was always nice and helpful. The course was mostly done through Knewton which had all the instruction.

I took this couse in 4 weeks during the summer. I did not take any other courses during this course. I wanted to make sure that I had time to focus and dedicate to my work in order to earn an A. Knewton was very helpful along with supplemental videos provided. The course load can become heavy if you do not properly plan & work ahead. Take her!

She is very funny. She also respects every student. Be ready for the homework but you fly through it if you understand the material. They do offer tutoring sessions. Overall, she is a great teacher. She just talks a little fast. And moves fast.

The course material is not even taught by the professor, it was taught through the application you do your homework in. 5 tests, one dropped. The only time you hear from the professor is when she goes over the practice tests which is a prerecorded video. Respondus (proctoring test system) kept grading my test wrong so look out for that.

The professor is good when it comes to responding quickly to emails, even on weekends which is good. The material of the class is not very hard. You will teach yourself, but it's not really an issue. If you don't get it, there are multiple resources to understand it more. The class itself is good, you will pass if you try. I would recommend.

You teach yourself and work at your own pace. Just you keep track of your hw and the exam deadlines. It's stressful when you wait till the last day to do your assignments. She's clear on what she wanted and tries her best to be organized. She also offers some extra points for the exams. Also, you have to pay to access homework and quizzes.

She is a very good professor, I would recommend.

I struggled with Math and needed to complete this course so I could graduate with my B.S in Political Science. With this said, the course I took was all online. I would recommend this course because the professor literally sets you up to pass and I am not joking. This is coming from someone who struggles with math, and passed a month long course!!!

She is a great math teacher. I passed this with 100%. Just do the homework and go to class, but most importantly PRACTICE. She also has a good sense of humor

I 100% recommend this class!! I've never understood math but Professor Santiago made math very easy and understanding for me. She also has a great sense of humor and she makes math so much fun!

Great teacher. Very willing to help if you ask. She also has funny stories. The math wasn't necessarily easy but she helped as much as she could. If she gets something wrong she's very willing to accept constructive criticism, own up to it and fix her mistake, which is far better than some teachers alone.

I highly recommend taking her class. She is extra caring and she makes sure nothing is too heavy for the students. Enjoyed math like never before.

Professor Santiago makes math easy and fun. While the class has a lot of homework, her clear explanations and use of study tools like Unstuck study helped me understand the material. Definitely recommended!

Take this class if you need a non-STEM math credit! Prof. Santiago is amazing, I have never been great at math, and she makes it easy. Explains everything in great detail, and I loved using Math Lab to complete assignments. I've always hated math, but she made it fun, and it ended up being my favorite class this semester.

When I started this course I was so scared. I don't really like math and there were lots of assignments. I chose this professor because some of her rating said she was one of the best especially for beginners like myself. Just do the work, show up, submit your assignments in time and you will pass. She actually wants the best for her students. A+

Really easy class; she has videos explaining every module. All 6 tests are lockdown browsers, but easy if you do the assignments. There's no way you can fail unless you self-sabotage.

This class was super easy! There is a heavy work load, but as long as you stay on top of completing all you work and studying, you will pass with a breeze!
