I took this class online. He gives a lot of work, but is due every two weeks. As long as you do your work, you will pass easy! Great teacher! No exams given either, just papers due.

Outstanding professor, very helpful and the material he teaches is fascinating. The books he chooses draws you in. He does give a significant amount of work, but the work requires you to think about the question and at the end you will be amazed at how much you've learned!

Take any of this guy's classes. I took two of his online classes and he's super clear about what's due/when it's due. Also very responsive to questions or concerns. If you do all of your work you'll get an A. He's really nice too :)

Dr. G is such a great professor. Is method if teaching is amazing & in both classes I took with him I learned so much & actually retained all the information because of the structure of his assignments. I suggest everyone taking a psychology class try to take at least one with him.

All have been online and I couldn't be more happy with this teacher. He requires a lot of students but if you do the work there won't be any problems. I recommend this teacher to everybody!

I took this as an intersession class. The class was simple, three tests and writing assignments everyday. I learned a lot and he had a lot of passion for psychology and helping his students. He did give an extra credit opportunity.

I have taken three classes with Dr. Bruno so far, and I love his online class format. Discussion posts, a set of short answer essays, and a longer essay paper are due every other week. As long as you don't mind a bit of reading and writing, it's an easy A.

I took this class online as the 8-weeks course. I was nervous because it was only 8-weeks but Professor Gagnon does a great job to help you understand what is expected of you. There is a fair amount of work but it is not too difficult. Great professor and class!

Psych of Love and Intimacy is an interesting task, especially for people trying to understand love/dating. Great instructor. Readings were required every week to complete assignments. No quizzes but weekly papers 1-2 pg single spaced & 15 line single spaced question responses. He's an easy grader, just hit the minimum and you get all the points!

Dr. Gagnon was a really good professor. This was an 8 week class, and was enjoyable. Weekly discussions and summaries were expected, but all were on very interesting and engaging material. It seems like as long as you fully participate in this class, you'd be fine. Only a mid-term and final, no other tests.

Just follow his syllabus and do what he tells you to do word for word in the assignments and discussion posts, hand in your assignments on time plus give depth to your responses and it's an A+ easy peezy. The only reason you would not get at least an A in his 8 week course would be because you're not following directions.

There are weekly written assignments but if you follow the syllabus and its directions you will do fine. There was no quizzes in this class , only a mid-term and a final. Overall an organized and enjoyable class and a great professor. I highly recommend Dr.G.

Dr. Gagnon is by far one of the best professors, I've ever had. I took his Abnormal Behavior class over the winter break for intercession and it was one of the easiest and most interesting classes I've ever taken. His work load is reasonable and if you follow the syllabus it's an easy A!

I am currently taking his Abnormal Behavior class and I love it. He explains everything in clear detail and provides interesting material. There is no confusion on due dates or material. I plan to take more classes with him in the future.

This is my 2nd class with Dr. G, and I must say he is a very awesome professor and I love taking his classes. The only thing that would be better is if he taught in person at UNM main campus, then that would be perfect. Easily one of the best professors at UNM.

Dr. Gagnon is the best. I've taken 4-5 classes with him and he is a great instructor. Online classes can sometimes be harder to learn in but not his. He gives great feedback and the assignments are always relevant. I will take as many classes as I can with Bruno. Definitely recommended!

OMG I can't begin to tell you how much I love him, I am currently taking Psy101 online. I really like how he critics your work so you know how to improve. His assignments are very clear to understand and encourages you to ask your help if you need it. I will be taking as many classes with him that I can.

Best teacher at UNM . I've taken 4 300-400 level classes with him and learned an enormous amount from each one. If you are not good at reading a lot of material, integrating it and writing something of meaning ( writing a lot) then here is your chance to learn a new skill. No exams does not equal easy, actually it is harder . Thinking is required.

He really made sure we understood the material we were taught and cared about the grades and well-being of his students. Tests weren't awful and assignments were interesting. Overall one of the best professors I've had.

I've taken at least 4 other courses with Dr. G and they all follow the same homework formats. There are no exams, but the homework makes up for it. Get the textbook; it'll help a lot with the assignments.

The biggest complaint I have with this class is the textbook is an absolute drudgery. You have to read about 3 chapters of it for every module, and you will def. learn everything you never wanted to know about the history of psychology. Took the class merely for the credit, have zero interest in the topic, though I am a psych major.

I've taken many classes by Dr. Gagnon, and all of them were online. By the end of the semester, his classes can feel like a drag, because there is a lot of reading and writing. It's not a difficult class, but the homework becomes time consuming, especially if you take many of his classes in one semester. If you're looking for an easy A, you got it.

Great class, I loved how it was set up. It was very easy to follow online and he kept assignments interesting with a mixture of youtube videos and readings. Also, there are no essays required!

I expected this class to be impersonal like most online classes, but Gagnon tries to interact with the class as much as possible, which was nice. There are assignments due every two weeks, but as long as you meet the basic grading criteria, you'll get an A.

Psychology of Love was one of the most interesting courses I've ever taken, and Gagnon made it even better. All of his chosen readings were easy to read because they were so good. I learned so much and I actually bought several of the books he used. I emailed him 2 years later to ask a question about the course and he was more than happy to reply.

Bruno is an awesome online professor, I am taking him next semester for two more classes the Psychology of Love and History of Psychology.

Dr. Gagnon is super! I have taken all of his online courses and all of them are great! I especially loved the Love Psy class! There is a lot of homework, but it's beneficial. Great classes, great teacher, highly recommend!

One of the best professors UNM has. Very invested in the success of his students. easy grader as long as you do all the homework every week, which is an intense load if it's summertime. Taken 4 classes with him and I would take more if I could. Funny, intelligent and it's clear he has a love for teaching. Would recommend to anybody.

This professor was one of the best I have ever had! This class is already so easy and interesting but he makes it even better! He is so sweet and the class is structured in such an efficient way. I literally have a 100% in this class, as long as you do the work he will give you points!

Online class- structured just like all of the rest he teaches. Two weeks to do a decent amount of work, but literally we're in college so this is to be expected. I actually learn from him! I would take him again if I ever had to. I have full points in his class for doing the average amount of work. Take him! You won't regret it.

Each week has its own module with 3 portions; essential questions (3-5 per module), love stories (1 full page worth), and a group discussion (respond to two peers as well). Lots of writing for each module but NO final or papers due, ever. Accepts late work and gives one extra credit opportunity.

Bruno is great; he gave really good feedback on homework and exams. There were no essays due, however every week required a couple semi-long assignments, but they were in the same format every time and so it was easy to get used to. He is very knowledgeable and helped me to understand the material well.

I took his class online in 8 weeks. Its a decently higher than average courseload, but hey youre taking the 16 week class in 8 weeks. Wouldnt recommend taking the 8 week course if you have other classes that are difficult or have a heavy load of work. Anyways, Really nice guy, approachable, gives good feedback. Dr. G's classes are are always interesting and he uses different material to teach the learning objectives. As long as you put in the work to do the assignments, you will pass. Bruno is a great professor. He divides his course into modules that consist of questions from readings, a short paper on interesting stories, and discussion posts. Some modules are harder than others but they're doable. The love stories are also very relatable so they are not hard to read. I definitely recommend the course!

Tons of writing, but generally easy. Readings are also easy and interesting. Allows Late submissions. Has group discussions, but you can pass doing maybe half of them. Homework mostly personal opinion and regurgitating clear definitions from readings. Cheap textbook and provides pdfs. Feedback is generic "Nice work!" but still encouraging.

He is very understanding if things come up in life. It is a lot of reading but very interesting readings. He is a fair grader. As long as you read the directions and follow them then you will get a good grade. Lots of typing as well but such an interesting class and topics that it catch your attention right away. Dr. Gagnon is a great professor, you actually learn something from his courses. There is no "papers" or test, but you end up writing so much. The essential questions, discussions, and video clip analysis that it amounts to about 2 pages a week. Material not so easy, but interesting. I would have enjoyed more if not taking a full load.

I enjoyed psychology of love so much that I took the history of psychology taught by Bruno and now I am signing up for the advanced developmental psychology that he teaches. He is that fantastic that if he taught more classes I would take them all. There is a lot of reading required.

Bruno was great! In this course there aren't any exams or quizzes. Every two weeks we have a discussion, and 2 assignments. The assignments are relatively easy. Loved his class, highly recommend!

I've taken a total of 3 classes with Bruno and I love his classes. Not only is the material interesting but the class is set up in an organized way. There is a module for every 2 weeks that include a discussion post and responding to questions/podcasts. He responds very quickly to emails.

Being an eight-week class, it was very fast paced and intense at times. Although, it was a very interesting class and you knew what was expected of you as of day one. I definitely plan to take another class with Professor Gagnon.

Excellent professor! Very understanding if you communicate with him. Makes a relatively mundane topic (history) interesting. Lots of writing, but allows critical thinking to be a large part of his course work. I learned a lot compared to many other courses. There is a good amount of work, but I did not mind it. Would take again.

One of my favorite professors in my many years at UNM. Is very helpful, responds to emails, has clear communication of his expectations, and grades reasonably. If you are willing to put in the work, you will learn a lot and easily get a good grade. I wish I could have taken prof Gagnon for abnormal psychology as well.

When Dr. G is teaching a class, I'm always sure to take sign up because of how great his classes are structured. His assignments take a lot of thought, but I've found that the 4 classes I've taken with him are the ones that I remember the most material from. It's a truly stellar method of teaching, from an equally great teacher.

If you take any Psychology Professor, make it Bruno. I was hesitant about this class at first, as I am used to most Psychology classes being quiz/test only, however, I learned way more than any other Psych class. All of the material is interesting and assignments are an easy A if you put in effort. My advice, don't procrastinate and you'll be fine!

Professor Gagnon is inspirational! This was online; but there was lots of communication. Also he is available to help any student. The class syllabus is so clear it is almost impossible to fail! And I found him to be respectful of differences, that was refreshing. Plus I only need one more Psychology class-maybe I'll take his Developmental course.

Wonderful lectures. First few weeks of content were a little boring. Homework is very manageable especially if you attend lectures. Only 3 exams over the course of the semester so they're don't weigh down on your final grade.

I absolutely LOVE his courses, there is a lot of reading and writing but it is quite interesting and you learn A LOT. I would recommend taking his courses, assignments are relatively easy if you stay on top of due dated and readings.

Professor Gagnon is an experiences instructor. Lots of writing but its all worth it. Gives great and encouraging feedback and is clear on what he looks for. Also gives helpful resources for each topic covered. I recommend taking him. Be quick though, as classes tend to fill up super quick!

I have never had a professor who is more passionate about their work before Dr. Gagnon. There's a lot of reading, but if you put in the effort you'll do well. Dr. Gagnon is very kind and gives extremely helpful feedback on assignments. He's easily accessible outside of class as well, and you can tell he cares about his students.

This is an amazing professor. He does a great job teaching material effectively. I really liked that he didn't require tests or quizzes. For me, I learn best through reflection instead of testing and I got a lot out of this class. I will definitely be taking a class with him again!

There was a lot of reading an writing required for class, but he gives enough time for you to work on it and there are no surprises to his grading. If you ever have a question or need helps he gives good feedback.

No exams or quizzes, your grade is based off of writing assignments and discussion posts due biweekly on Sundays. If you manage your time right, you can get them done within the first week with no problem. There is a lot of reading of journal articles and research papers though, so take your time to fully understand it. Easy A, and fun too.

I love Dr. Gagnon! He gives the nicest, most encouraging feedback to my work! No quizzes or tests, just a discussion every other week and essential questions assignment for each chapter every other week. Also 4 explorations in history assignments in the course but as long as you put in the effort, he notices and grades very fairly and quickly.

He is very dedicated to making sure every student has the resources and accommodations necessary to understand the material and complete the class. He's very enthusiastic. I currently require accessibility accommodations and he went out of his way to see that this class was possible for me despite my disability. 10/10 would recommend.
