Very nice and approachable professor. Course is very straight forward. Final grade is based upon 6 tests, a final exam, a self management project, and participation points. This class is set up in a super easy-to-understand way! I liked the pre-class quizzes (which are easy) and then you came in and discussed the prep guides. Overall, a really interesting class!

Savilles seminar on passion was the best class I have taken at JMU. He is very caring and easy to talk to. I loved learning this material and really gave me advice I will use for my future. He is understanding of students and I overall really enjoyed this class.

Super nice guy, does interteaching right, sometimes extra credit opportunities for showing up. Make sure you seem very interested in the material, it is, but he needs you to show it. He goes over stuff multiple times so you understand. Do prep guides, not for a grade but for yourself. Tests are online but application based so know your stuff!

Saville is amazing! He has high expectations but they're not hard to meet as long as you pace yourself. Everything is spaced out well, prep guides help introduce you to new topics and Saville covers confusing information or gaps in class time. All exams are online, GA helps with all papers, and there is some interteaching. Great guy overall!

He is the best! He does interteaching, and it honestly works so well. He truly cares what he is teaching about, and it makes the class so much better. As long as you complete the prep guides and pay attention in class, you'll do great! I wasn't a fan of 210, but he made me love 211. I am hoping to take another class with him again in the future!

Saville is a hilarious, interesting lecturer who's passionate not just about the topic, but about teaching. Tests are online, and while attendance is mandatory, he makes it worth it. So impressive how he makes otherwise boring or frustrating topics digestible, I will always reccomend.

Saville is the only option at JMU if you want to love either Learning Psych or Psych of Passion. He consistently made the content relatable and easy to learn, he opened up time for questions, and he gave extra credit for attending. Genuinely the best class I have taken here at JMU. Saville cares, pls take him.

My favorite class I've ever taken at JMU. Awesome class set up that helped me understand and truly learn the material. I will be remembering this stuff for the rest of my life. Saville explains things super clearly and gives great lectures. He's also a pretty funny dude. You're going to have a prep guide before each class, but they help long-term!
