Professor Wakefield is very helful. He teaches only what you are suppose to get out of the class. His tone is very mild and not threatening like most math professors. If you attend class and listen to his tips and suggestions and do the suggested homework, you'll do fine. I took him for MGF1107 and will take him next semster for MAC1105.

He is a great teacher. He teaches you what you need to know. Very helpful and stays after class to help students who needs it. Easy A, most of the review questions are the actual questions on the test.

Excellent professor, really cares about the student learning the material. You must make an effort, you can't be absent all the time and think you will get an A. What most people don't seem 2understand is that this man's class is 4the STUDENTS WHO R NOT GOING INTO FIELDS THAT REQUIRE ALGEBRA!!Once this decided 4u you will understand that the grade is what you need,retaining the knowledge-not so much.He's personaly great,take him only if you suck at math&need time 2focus on something else while getting an A.

Bad remarks for Mr. Wakefield probably are from lazy students. If you want the most out of him you have to take initiative, ask questions or assistance. He is an awesome teacher teaching to a lazy society of people. You will get an "A" for effort. he gives and gives and people just won't take.

He really takes his time to show you the work, especially if you are stuck. I think this teacher should be awarded best teacher of the year when it comes to math.

This was a very easy course. All of the answers to the quizes to and test are all examples from the text book. I recommend this course for a easy "A"!!!!

The class was easy. He allows you to use your notes and textbook to complete your quiz and test. You have up until one week before the class ends to turn in everything i.e. homework, 3 papers (easy), and your discussion boards. Even if you don't get the answer to a problem correct he will give you credit for completing the steps to the problem.

Statistic is a hard subject, but he makes everything easy. If you pay attention during the class and do the homework, and you will get A+. He will answer any questions you ask.

Professor Wakefield really cares about his students understanding the material he is teaching. He made statistics easy and interesting. He is a very fair professor. Keep up with the homework and put forth the effort necessary to succeed and you will pass this class.

GREAT TEACHER! He takes the time to make sure you understand. All quizzes and test are open book/open notes. There are 10 db?s where you have to make a post and respond to two other classmates. H/W out of each chap (try and you will be fine). There are three papers. If you try you will pass guaranteed. I got an A by just trying.

Professor Wakefield cares about his students. I took this class because I heard how easy it was. This was NOT the case. The DB and papers are easy but whoever said all the answers were in the book only could have been talking about HW. The quizes were somewhat easy but the tests were a little tricky. I passed with an A, but you do have to try.

I like professor Wakefield, He taught this class well, I you need help he came early before class to help you, and it was up to you to come and get it.I would take him he is highly recommended in my opinion.

Had this teacher for all of my Math classes--all A's. All information is from the book. You must read and practice what is in the book in order to pass. All quizzes/tests are open book/open notes. He grades on a curve and your grade depends on your partcipation in class and online. He IS arrogant and sarcastic-worth going through to get an A.

Professor Wakefield was an excellent teacher. He was very helpful, always willing to stay after class, and even gave open book/note tests. Professor Wakefield is a dynamic instructor who takes his profession very serious. Personally, I would recommend his MAC 1105 class, because the guy is brilliant. took some getting used to, but once you come to understand him past the initial impression of arrogance/indifference, he's willing to help if you ask. I worked hard for my A, but if you pay attention you'll do fine. He used MathXL, but wont in the future; his style fits better to designing his own tests since MathXL often teaches a different way.

I am very satified with his teaching style. I did not need him and I wish he had a website so I could review his sylabus before class, but that was the only problem. He is a great prof. Very interesting and not hard to look at either.

If you are not sensitive and if you can put your feelings to the side and understand that he wants you to learn you will do fine in his class. This professor was great! He explains things in simple terms. He goes over all items on the quizes and test. You have to do DB essays but they really help ur grade. I hate math and got an "B"!!

I thought this class was very good. He helped teach the class to where he didn't move on until everyone understood what was expected of them. He was very helpful and his instructions were a bit unorganized but clear. He made the class very easy and I would definitely recommend taking him if your not the best in math.

This class was fairly easy. Even though it was a class given on campus, everything was online. If you don't have the drive to make the grades, you shouldn't take this class. I finished a month and a half early with an 'A' because I wanted it bad enough.

Professor knows his math but teaches like you should already know it. You really have to pay attention in class and do all your homework. If you are not good in math you probably have to go to tutoring. Have 7 take home quizzes and 3 test which if you do everything i said you will do fine. Study and do the work it will eventually more clear .

Prof Wakefield is a very nice gentleman with a great sense of humour and he teaches at a very comfortable pace. The lectures can drag on because he takes his time explaining each step. Very easy to pick up the material and learn with him around. Sometimes, you may have to skip ahead of the lecture because he will take so long with them. Easy A.

Professor Wakefield is one of my favorite math instructors. I took him for MAT1033 and MAC1105. He makes class fun and wants his students to pass. He makes it simple to understand the material and also reviews the material with the students before a quiz. I would definitely take his class again !!!

You want to take this guy, trust me on this one. He seems arrogant but that's just a first impression. He's exceptionally nice and very funny. More than fair. Workload is manageable (I work F/T). Opens all areas so you can work at your own pace. Will answer any questions. If math isn't your best subject, take him! He's great. A+ professor.

He's not afraid to speak his mind. Won't repeat himself when answering questions about test or important info. If you missed him giving out the information get it from another student. He is super easy to work with. Willing to help you out. You actually learn something from him, if you don't understand he will help show you expect test questions.

Great professor, made himself available Saturdays for students who needed a little extra help. I took a 16 week class and he gave us the entire semester to do quizzes, homework, and discussions at our own pace. He knows his math but, he is willing to help anyone who wants the help. He is old school writes on the board and actually shows you.

I love Professor Wakefield! I took him for Intermediate Algebra & passed with an A. He gives you the entire semester to complete homework, quizzes, etc. Very helpful & great teacher. If I could take him for every subject I would!

All of the work is done online, including tests and final exam. theres two essays required for this class, given the fact that its a "math" class. Theres alot of work but you have until the end of the course to complete everything. He is very nice and helpful.

In the end, I like him a lot. He is reasonable and goes the extra mile to help students. He does not pick favorites, he is a everybody matters type of guy. There are three tests and you get two hours on each. My advice for your success is be friendly, don't be a bump on a log and DO NOT FALL BEHIND ON THE HOMEWORK!!!!!

Greatest math teacher I've had. Breaks everything down for you and will stay after hours to help. When he is giving a lecture take your notes they are valuable. Lays out assignment timeline but it is at your own pace. The tests are your grade. Two attempts on first two exams then one on the final. Hilarious and generous. Totally recommend him.

I love Professor Wakefield! He took over my class during the middle of the semester since our last professor ghosted us. He helped me understand the course material and pass. Professor Wakefield was a saving grace to my class.

I have always been really terrible at math, and I even failed statistics once before. But, I took Prof. Wakefield's class and he made everything so easy to understand and he was very patient and very kind, even funny. Even when classes got canceled due to the virus, he still made himself available to help and make sure we understood everything.

I took his MAT0028 class. He's funny, it was an easy class. He was caring and accommodating. But I don't learn math well being in class. He taught for the first 2 or 3 weeks, but the class seemed like they just wanted to do work on their own. So for the remainder of the 7 week class he didn't teach. He was just there if anyone had questions.

Great professor, hands down! Caring and respected I would totally recommend him. About his class 70% of the grade is 3 tests, 20% is the quizzes and 10% is for the homework.

Prof Wakefield is an absolute gem of a person! He's always there to answer questions, and responds to emails quickly. It's all online due to COVID right now, so we're going through Pearson Math Lab and its definitely heavy work. I'm about 2 weeks behind everyone else because my other professors are also homework heavy. But overall solid guy! :)

Professor Wakefield was willing to go the extra mile for you. He was always quick to answer my emails. He was genuinely concerned for the success of each student. He gives you practice tests and multiple attempts at quizzes. He allowed notes and open book for the tests and final and will proctor the test if you are nervous. He is a great teacher!

Mr. Wakefield was the funniest and nicest professor I've every had! There is quite a bit of work, but just stay on task and you'll do fine. Very sweet and will accommodate you if you have a difficult situation going on! Genuinely cares for his students.

Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, and Bryce Wakefield. Simply put the GOAT. Caring and very nice and really wants the class to do well. He's very funny and tries to be a friend to you. Show up to 80% of the classes and he'll like you. He prints out all material so you don't have to buy the book!

Prof. Wakefield is super caring and understandable. Answered E-mails in a timely manner. Was very funny and, cares about every student in the class. Made learning Math fun again would definitely take another class with him.

Professor Wakefield was caring, funny, and good at explaining things so they made sense. I liked the way he set up his class; everything (tests, quizzes, homework, and final), was due at the end of the semester, so I could work at my own pace. He gave 2 attempts on quizzes and tests, but gave me a third attempt for one quiz I messed up on twice.

Professor Wakefield is a great teacher. You don't have to do much in class except attend the lectures, most of the work is online. There are a LOT of assignments but they're all relatively easy. Tests are worth a considerable amount of your grade, but Professor Wakefield does everything he can to help and prepare you. I highly recommend him!

Professor Wakefield was the only teacher that I have taken at FSCJ that actually seemed care if the students learned in class or not. This professor makes himself available to help the students with difficult schedules, and offers extra help when needed.

Professor Wakefield is great at what he does, if you struggle with math and need a STATS class, he is one of the best. Homework is heavy yet you have the whole semester to finish, he gives his personal time to make sure his students get an understanding.
