Great teacher, had him freshman year and became a psychology major because of his class.
Great professor. Very helpful and approachable and extremely friendly. Very willing to help students and always wants to help build his students' interests.
He was very unclear when I had him and made the course almost impossible. I did have him almost 4 years ago, so maybe he's gotten better since...
At first I had trouble understanding his notes becuase they are not very clear, but if you read along with the book the main points he wants you to know will become very clear and if you study the notes, his tests are easy! and take advantage of the extra credit!
If possible get a different professor. He's very monotone and extremely boring. I fought to stay awake. His notes are extremely disorganized and sparse. The test are average difficulty but his poor teaching style and bland explanations make it hard to grasp or want to grasp the material. Doesn't provide examples to make material memorable.
his class is not even the least bit interesting... it has potential to be, but he has really scattered notes and i get really lost in some of his examples that he uses. his tests are moderately hard but he gives you extra credit opportunities. it would be a great class if he made it interesting and interactive.
He seemed like a really nice guy and i hate saying it but his class was really boring. He is really in to the biological aspects of psychology and his classes seemed more like biology than psychology. The class had the potential to be interesting but he kind of bored me to death and wasn't very interactive. His tests were somewhat hard, but fair.
Byron enjoys wearing lots of earthy tones, especially pumpkin orange and hunter green. I'm sure he's a nice person, and often walks the halls of Schroeder with a skip in his step and whistling. Unfortunately, he's monotone and is so hard to pay attention to.
I would pretty much agree with everyone else. I had a lot of trouble on his first two tests because his notes are very unorganized so if you miss class you wont even understand the notes from someone else. In regards for studying for tests, it is essential to have the book by your side because you wont understand his notes by reading them over.
I think psy 110 students have the wrong impression, no matter who you take 110 with its BORING. Dr. H's interests lie in neurological psychology, this topic is a whole different ballgame, he has amazing research and is very excited about physiological psychology. Professors are more interesting when they're actually interested in the topic, nice gu
He's a really nice guy...kind of goofy and extremely intelligent! if you want to do well in his course you have to study ALL of the notes and a word of advice--study REALLY hard for the first test if you take this class...it's the most difficult by far! Overall a great class, you'll learn a lot
4 tests worth your whole grade and they are very hard
hes a very nice guy, but boring! I have to try to stay awake every class pretty much! all his notes come off of paower points and if you get the book you can pretty much fill in the powerpoint notes from there and skip out on class..but study for the tests theyre hard!
if you enjoy psychology and are intelligent as well you will sorto like this class. I can definitely see people seeing his class as kinda boring. The only really bad thing is that the 4 tests are extremely specific and all of your grade but for the last 2 i studied only 2 days before and got an A. He will ignore you if you ask alot of question too
Study with the notes in one hand, and the book in the other. If there is anything that you do not understand on the notes then read about it from the book! You need to know all the notes! Since there is so much information, I liked studying ALL day the day before so it was fresh in my mind. I got an A on the first three tests that way.
I took this class in 2006 and this was the professor that definitely molded my view of biology and neuroscience. This guy is wicked smart and will help you, you just have to ask. Do not be afraid to take this class, its easy if you pay attention and do the work.
Strange but interesting man! but I found the class to be really hard! we take to many notes every day. He also doesnt give any study guide because "its not in his job description." Lameee.... but your grade is based off 4 tests so that suchks. You can get alot of extra credit though. It helps soo much
you need to go to class and take notes. if you do that and study the notes for the tests you will do good. you really wont need the book then unless you want to do extra..taking your own notes for the class does help. he is alil boring and talks slow but hes a great person!
He seems intelligent, but think Ben Stein and "Bueller? Bueller?" I really seem to have problems with professors who are dull and monotonous, and he most definitely is. However, he does seem smart and very educated in his topic, so I guess we'll just see how the rest of the semester plays out.
This class was a stuggle for me. I studied a lot but could not remember the minor details that are crutial if you want to pass the tests. The test are very specific which makes it extremely difficult. He's a real nice guy, very borning because he;s very monotone but always offers extra help to his students!
I heard the stories about Dr. H, and I was skeptical. Totally different story from me. I am really enjoying the class right now! Dr. Heidenreich is one of the nicest guys I have met; very cool to talk to after class. Knows his stuff well! This is who I want to be like when I get older! Take this class with THIS professor; he is like none other : )
Personally I heard all of the pyshology 110 teachers are bad and give extremely hard exams. He DOES NOT give a study guide. or tells what specifically is going to be on the test. questions on test seem like there can be more than one right answer. if you do take this class. prepare to study study to get an A or B
No clear, does not let you know what to study for exams, extremely difficult exams. I am an A/B student that got a D in his class. I only got the D by studying for LONG hours.
possibly the most boring teacher i have ever had, which i feel bad saying because he's a nice guy who seems intelligent, but he speaks very monotone which makes you want to fall asleep. i disagree with the below comments- he gives a PIP packet for the whole year, so if you get the notes for the PIP, that is all you need to study for the test.
this guy is so monotonous and does not know how to make class enjoyable. To sum up the lecture, its 75 minutes of the guy from the clear eyes commercials, literally. The material is pretty easy to get if you have taken a psych course before. He does offer a lot of extra credit which can ultimately raise your grade a letter grade
Very boring professor. He knows his material, which makes it extremely hard for him to teach down to students. Use the book and the handouts to study from, since he doesn't give a study guide. His exams are worded badly, so reread everything!
Stay on top of the notes, even if you dont go to class. DO the EXTRA CREDIT if you are having a hard time. No quizes or homework, just tests, a final, and a makeup final for your lowest test grade. I read the notes over repeatedly until I memorized it, and I paid attention the diagrams that he uses from the book which he says in the notes what page
The guy is very smart. At times, there are some things that he doesn't explain well but trust me: ASK HIM ABOUT IT. He knows a lot about college students and he will explain it in a way that you will understand. ASK QUESTIONS, READ THE BOOK, TAKE NOTES, and you will be fine.
He's a really smart person, in a lecture hall he is really hard to understand and everythings really confusing. Be sure to get help from him A LOT and always do all EC ! Make sure you look over book material to help you as well the book is needed for this class!Get help one on one with him he's a great guy and easy to understand only one-on-one.
Although this teacher may know his subject well, he says "UM" so many times that it distracts from the meaning. I noticed three people around me other than myself tallying the times he said it. He said um 168 times in 45 minutes. It was sad.
Mind-numbingly boring lectures, just find someone with the notes from a previous class and copy the notes and stay up on the reading and do fine. I challenge you to attend all his lectures and not want to blow your brains out. I'd recommend him though due to the ease of the course, and he really is a very nice man.
He is a pretty good teacher. Nothing too great but he knows his stuff. Tests aren't to bad, he curves them so that helps out a lot. Dont really need the text book. Notes are online. Do the Extra Credit because it helps out a lot.
Do not take this class with him. He is lazy teacher that makes your entire grade the 4 exams you take. Study sessions are useless. Doesn't prepare you at all for the exams. Went to class everyday and studied for each exam and got all Cs. He is just unprofessional, showing up late all the time and enters grades late. Extremly frustrating class.
Mr. H is a corky guy. The lecture notes are online, but you need to fill in some missing words every now and then. I thought the class was pretty easy, I'm getting an A. You just need to study and not blow it off even though it's an intro class. No homework, 4 tests and an optional final. He also offers extra credit, DO IT!!
Awesome teacher! Very open to his students, makes the notes available through PIP Printing. Tests are somewhat hard, and the lectures aren't the most exciting, but overall it was a good class
he is so unorganized with his notes, I hightly reccomend to take it with farmer dougan... ot aanyone else
Heidenreich is a great teacher. You just have to have a developed sense of humor to understand him. He's very helpful if you just ask.
The class is not hard and neither is it very easy. You do have to study for the exams a good amount but the material is very interesting so studying should go well. He offers a ton of extra credit which can boost you up an entire letter grade! He's very helpful if you go and talk to him.
I hated physiological psych until I took it with him. He has an interesting sense of humor that you either get or you don't. Regradless he's extremely smart and really knows what he's talking about. Attendance is a must as he gives you all the notes during lecture and so is reading the book.
I had him for 263 and 367. Best two classes of college. Exams are hard but straightforward and if you go to class and study hard you can get an A. He's also pretty funny and makes the lectures interesting and relevant.
Don't take, hard class. Not very good when the average for each test and the majority of students all got C's on every single test.... Scores don't lie, not a good professor at all... ISU needs to reevaluate their staff.
Hated this class. I thought it was really hard even though Im a really good student. I wish he explained things in a way people could actually understand. Seems nice though
Lectures are as boring as they can get, he teaches and introductory class as if we're majoring in the subject, my classmates and I got C's on all of his tests. I'd go for a different teacher or class.
I was in a group of students who regularly sat in the front two rows. He interacted with us during class and made it interesting and enjoyable. He remembered me semesters later and even introduced himself to my mother when he saw us walking across the quad.
Great teacher! Loved him!
AMAZING teacher. He explains the material very well and you can tell he likes what he teaches. Uses good analogies to help you understand the topics. Didn't read the book at all. 4 tests that are multiple choice, fill in blank, and essay. Easy if you study. Extra credit is 3 article reviews worth up to 16 points!
I was really excited about this class at the start of the semester, but quickly realized that I was not a fan. The entire class is based around 4 tests. Expects you to walk into the class with prior knowledge about most of the material, even though there really wasn't a prereq. I would not take this class again.
This man is such a genius on this subject matter that he can't teach it!! Exams are hard even after studying (multiple choice and fill in the blank)! There are no study guides either, which I think are very necessary for THIS particular class. I wish it wasn't mandatory, or that there were a different instructor who were able to deliver better.
Dr. Heidenreich is extremely intelligent, and willing to do anything to help his students understand this material. He realizes it's not easy stuff, and encourages his students to see him for extra help when they need it. 4 exams, no homework. Attendance is never taken, however it's required to do well. Definitely my favorite professor at ISU.
AVOID IF POSSIBLE. Class is very hard and confusing. Your only grades are 3 exams and 1 final, and the exams are SO HARD. He teaches the class as if the students already mastered the material. Frustrating.
Tests are pretty difficult, 3 (and a cumulative final) 40 multiple choice questions each but the amount of material they cover is extremely large. Makes you do learnsmart, but I didn't find it helpful for exams because those questions were much easier than the exams. Ended with 1 POINT away from a B, but of course he wouldn't round it up.
Material is hard (I mean it is neuropsych afterall) but he wants you to get it. Ask questions, come to class, no homework, so focus on understanding the material not just memorizing (but yeah there is memorization) and you will do fine. Way cuter with the beard.
He is incredibly intelligent and tries to word things in a way that will be clear to everyone. He puts up his notes on the projector, and that is (mostly) what the exams are on. Exams are multiple choice and fill in the blank (psychopharmacology also has an essay). Take his classes if you have a chance!
Mandatory class but I'd try really hard not to take him. He tries his best to get the information across to his students but he's just so intelligent and thinks everyone can understand the concepts and words he uses. His tests are not as horrible as I thought they'd be but his class definitely ruined my GPA.
This professor is one of the worst I've ever been subjected to. He talks monotonously and so painfully slow that it would be easier for you to just google the information yourself. The subject is incredibly interesting it's just too bad he is the most uninteresting person on Earth. If I could recommend anything, change professors now.
These comments are a little over dramatic. He's a really nice guy. Yes, material is hard and tests are hard. Go to class, take notes, memorize the notes before the test, and you'll do fine. As long as you study the notes, you will pass with a fine grade. Don't freak out after reading these comments like I did. It's not bad at all. Just boring.
This is a hard class. His notes aren't very clear but then again he tries to boil the book down for you. He really does care but he is too smart for his own good. The tests are hard and the class average was a D. He doesn't have a clear grading scale he bases it off the overall test grade. He offers office hours and encourages them but its hard.
The class grade is only made up of 4 ftests no other points. Lectures are boring but YOU MUST GO and take notes. I recommend taking notes on the book and compare them to the lecture notes. Tests are hard so be ready to study your ass off but if you study hard you can do ok in the class. He's a nice guy just so smart that its hard to understand.
I found the material to be interesting, but Dr. Heidenreich is very monotone. The lecture is an hour and 15 minutes long and you MUST write everything down that he says. Tests are nearly impossible to get an A on. You HAVE to work for it. I studied so hard and never got any higher than a B. Content is interesting, teacher is extremely difficult.
A really smart, intelligent guy who passes his knowledge or neuroscience to his fellow students. If you are not into neuroscience or have any interest, I recommend to change your class and take something easy. His tests are really challenging and must put time to study.
He's the bestest
Tests can be difficult, but he tries his best to explain things. He will do review sessions, which are very helpful. Go to class and take notes because his notes are what the test is. Also, he curves grades
He is a very intelligent professor who teaches the course because he knows the information so well. You must attend lectures and take good notes to do well. The tests are hard but I received high A's on all of them after studying for a good amount of time. It is time consuming but doable and worth it.
his lectures can be very hard to pay attention to but if you go to class and take down the notes he puts up on the screen you will do fine. make notecards out of the notes and theres no way you won't get an A in the class. he curves the tests and if you get to know him he's actually hilarious. book can be helpful but definitely don't need to get it
He is an incredibly intelligent professor and was very helpful whenever I went to him for questions. He teaches material that is somewhat different than other psychology courses, and his lectures can be a bit confusing but he was always ready to help clarify. Additionally, while there were not assignments other than 4 tests, reading the book helped
The textbook is part of the homework. So dont buy the hard copy. He grades his tests using his own scale but he will share the scale with you. Can be boring but not too difficult
Only grade is exams, which kinda sucks. They're mostly MC but also a little short answer, with no wordbank. He's monotone & kinda boring. He's funny and laidback but doesn't care much about you. I highly recommend using quizlet to prepare for the exams and doing SONA for EC. He's not horrible & the class isn't that difficult. Also rounds grades
Textbook doesn't matter. Really lecture heavy and 4 exams. 70 multi choice and 20 fill-ins. 7 EC on sona. No Study guides, I recommend study blue. He curves all the exams mostly because everyone bombs, test are super hard. An A in the class is between a 75-88% right now and an F is 20-48%. Spend lots of time studying. D is passing for this class
This is the hardest class I have taken at ISU. There are only four tests and half of the class failed the first one. If you don't know anything about biology, this will be very difficult. Attendance is not mandatory but the tests are mostly made up of the notes. I would NOT recommend this professor.
I took 263 with Professor H and really enjoyed it!!! You have to show up for class because everything from class is on the exams. If you take good notes and study, youll do just fine! The content is super interesting and hes really funny. Great class and favorite Psych professor Ive had so far!
This class is 4 Exams and nothing else and they aren't exactly easy. Make sure you read the book religiously following the material or you'll probably fall apart a bit. First 2 exams with a bad grade means you're probably screwed. Its totally manageable if you just show up EVERY day because he makes no lectures available online
I took PSY263 with him, and it was HARD. Lectures are super long and boring and hard to follow. There are no study guides to his exams, which are half fill in and multiple choice, he does not give you a word bank either. The only thing that goes in the grade book are his four exams.
Hard class, but he's a cool guy
I have never gotten below a C on any course thus far and its my third year of college. Psychology courses are my strong suit and I am currently failing. Your notes are your study guides which means you have to memorize about 15 pages of notes. Dont take this class if you dont have to. Will save you a ton of stress.
This is my senior year of college, and I have never had anything below a C in a class until PSY263. But, I am currently failing this class right now. This is the worst class I have ever taken at Illinois State. I am stressed and highly disappointed because I have worked hard and done poorly. There needs to be homework/quizzes, not just 4 exams.
Only 4 tests that make up your grade and theyre all extremely hard. I studied for a month straight just to pass this class at the end of the semester
He openly acknowledged that this is the hardest psych course at the beginning of the semester, and yet he grades solely on 4 exams. Terrible system and he also doesn't post powerpoints. If you can take this with someone else, PLEASE DO.
Only thing in the grade book is 4 tests. The tests are extremely hard and cover a LOT of material. I wish he would have homework or essay options so we can at least get other points in the grade book. Take GOOD notes and read the textbook.
Dr. H is great. The class can be dry so ask questions. Let me say it again--ASK QUESTIONS!!! He is super knowledgeable but you HAVE to seek him out for help. Reading the book before class helps, but exams are literally the notes. STUDY AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Take it seriously and you will get a B. Take it to heart and get an A.
He's genuinely nice and has some good jokes. My problem is that he says his class is the hardest in the psych department (it is) but does nothing to help except lecture. The class points are only from tests. No low stakes homework assignments or quizzes checking your comprehension, so no extra points and no way to know if you understand lessons.
I beg of you to not take this class with Dr. Heidenreich! Class grade is only made up of 4 exams. No homework, papers, or anything else to redeem your grade. Also does nothing in class but lecture. He does not give out study guides, so it's up to you to guess what you need to know out of the millions of things in your notes. Avoid at all costs!!!!
This entire class is based around 4 exams, I wouldnt advise anyone who is not a good test taker to enroll in this class. The lecture notes are not offered online & there are no resources to really help you if you struggle. Memorization HEAVY (think biology) , if you have to take this class with this professor well goodluck.
This class is the hardest class in the psychology major. He only grades based off 4 tests. He does curve the tests but about half the class gets Ds or Fs anyways. If youre taking this class make sure you study and ask for help if you need it, otherwise you wont pass.
Worst Psych course ever taken here. Whole grade based on four exams, he curves a lot but only because majority are failing. No HW, no lectures/pwrpts are posted online, no exam study guides, no additional resources are given if you're struggling, & his lectures are all over the place. He's so hard to follow along. Find friends, ask for help, & pray
He is very lecture heavy, so I recommend attending all the classes as anything he discusses in length will definitely be on the exam. He had review sessions manly for the purpose of answering questions that people had on the material, and he did offer some extra credit opportunities. He was a good professor, but you have to listen and put work in.
Do not take this class with. Your grade is made up of 4 exams and he doesnt post the lecture notes online. The only advice I can give is to study at least 2 weeks in advance/create study groups/read the textbook.
This class is made up of only lectures and 4 exams. The material is difficult, but if you put in work and ask questions/go to office hours then it is manageable. Dr. Heidenreich is really willing to work with students one-on-one and that helped me tremendously so I really encourage that for others. Study groups/ friends are also very helpful!
Great teacher! Material is difficult and youre expected to understand it but exams are reasonably paced.
GO TO CLASS, you won't pass if you don't. Dr. H, is incredibly smart and is willing to help IF YOU ASK. He treats this class like a grad class almost so take in your later PSY years if you can. The material is interesting but very hard. Only 4 tests, you HAVE TO STUDY HARD. This class was a headache but very rewarding.
Professor has 4 tests the entire semester, he only has lectures and no study guide. All of the tests are pretty much your only grades in the grade book. You have to do your own studying, I would not recommend taking this class unless you want to study weeks before a test to still end up failing. He only has one form of ec which is only 7 points.
Very lecture heavy, only 4 tests throughout the semester, you don't really need the book it's mostly lecture based, but the test are difficult, there are no study guides, he gives like 10 pages of notes so it's a blind guess as to what's on the test. More than 2/3 of the class has a C or lower.
Dr. H is a great professor. PSY 263 contains hard material and it does take a lot of studying, paying attention, and attending class. My biggest advice is to reach out to him outside of class for extra help. He is really easy to talk to outside of class and truly wants you to know what is going on and he is more than willing to help.
Dr. Heidenreich is a well-rounded individual who does care for his students. His course is hard, not because of the professor, because of the content. Neuroscience is really hard. Take it or leave it. It is a mandatory course for some majors, so get book smart on anatomy, biology and psychology. Course is made up of four exams and seven E.C. :)
Disliked this class so much. Came to class, studied, and still got Ds/Cs on tests. He curves them, but not much. Your grade is based solely on the 4 exams. He doesn't post ppts or notes and rambles a lot yet it still feels like he just reads off the slides. I never used the textbook so don't waste your money tbh. I could rant ab so much more
There are only 4 tests that make up your grade in this class. Multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank with no word bank. He won't give a study guide. His lectures are hard to follow. He doesn't seem to care too much if we do well or not as he shows the percentages of each grade letter after tests and sees that most of the class gets Ds and Fs.
Do not take this class with him. Find someone else. Don't miss class or you wont be able to get the notes. There is so many things in the notes it is impossible to know what to study. His exams have 35 m/c and 10 fill in the blank with no key. No one has gotten a 100 on the exams. If you have him you will not do good even if you study hard.
TERRIBLE. 4 90 pt. exams of 35 multiple choice & 10 fill-in-the-blank with no word bank questions. MEMORIZATION HEAVY so study as soon as the class starts. He doesn't care if you're struggling. He considers it "good" that half the class is passing but doesn't really acknowledge the half that's failing. If you have test anxiety, good luck
All I'm gonna say is that he really needs to change his teaching style or add more things to the grade book. This class is super hard for no reason and even when I studied day and night, I still got really low scores on the tests. For those taking him next year, just know this is the hardest class in the major and the professor doesn't care.
I do agree that this course is brutal due to the fact that he is very dry and does not provide notes online. I passed the class with an A and I think the best way to get through this nightmare of a class is to write good notes and study them until you memorize the material. I PROMISE I am not that smart and was a B/C student.
Toughest class I have ever taken. Take this early as many people have to take it multiple times. He does not post notes so if you miss a single day, expect your test score to drop. Only 4 grades are tests that a significant amount get a D or F, so no homework to make up for it. Study 8-12 hours minimum for each exam and read the textbook, it helps.
This professor is awful. You'll take a test and only 20% of it is stuff you actually learned in lecture and the rest is random comments he made through the lecture that he expects you to write down on top of writing down everything on the slides (because he doesn't post them). Says that everyone will fail his class (if he knows why not change)
WORST CLASS I HAVE TO TAKE!! All he has is exams, and even after studying, the exam was completely different and how are you going to do fill in the blank with no word bank⁉️🤦🏾‍♂️ He teaching style is BORING and he talks way to slow. Avoid while you can
This professor has the toughest class I have ever taken at ISU. His teaching style is very slow and boring. The topics are interesting but the way he teaches is not helpful to comprehend the tough topics. He doesn't care that majority of the class is failing his class, he only offer 7 points of extra credit if u do sona or research articles.
This class is very difficult if you don't spend time studying. You have to use the lecture notes he provides, then go to Google or the book, expand each topic he gives you, put it all into Quizlet, and study for a minimum of 6 hours, or you will fail. Attendance isn't mandatory, but going to class is recommended, he doesn't post his slides.
Absolutely horrible. Four tests are all you get with little EC. He uses really random analogies like every other sentence to the point where I couldn't understand the point he was trying to make. Had several panic attacks over this class. 0/10. My advice: do what I did and take this course online at a different school. Save yourself the stress
He's clearly got passion and knowledge for the material, but he's not a great teacher. You either get it or you don't. No study guides, very little extra credit. Only grades are 4 exams filled with random trivia that he only briefly mentions. I've studied 12+ hours for every test and am stuck at a B. Good luck.
Lectures were very boring, which is a shame because the topics are very intriguing, speaks very monotone and shows 0 excitement/personality, but is very smart on the subject matter but not a good teacher. Test questions are very in depth, which contradicts his surface level notes, prepare to study for 10-12 hours just to get between an 80-84%
Everyone exaggerates the difficulty of this class. Having background in anatomy & physiology helps. Pay attention in class & take notes. Read the chapter if you need a concept explained more. I reread my notes for an exam 3x over as my only study time & received a 95%. Plus, he changes the grading scale to be easier (85%=A)
Although this class seemed very interesting, it was overly difficult. I am typically a straight A student until this course. I had to study for multiple hours, and still found myself getting Ds on exams. I recommend finding someone else to take this class with. Jump through hoops to find someone else.
Tough class with a strict professor. But with the help of unstuckstudy, detailed notes, and hours of studying, I managed to pass with a decent grade. Definitely not an easy A, but doable if you put in the work.
Dr. H teaches a very hard class. The first test is the worst one. I got a C and exam 1, B on exam 2 and A on exam 3. Yes this class is hard, but you get what you put in. STUDY hard and memorize the slides. There are quizlets online that will help you memorize the material.
The class is hard. However, it is possible. He does not post slides, so you HAVE TO come to class. There is no chance of passing without coming to the lecture. However, if you go to office hours, he will be great at answering questions and helping. It is very difficult, but not impossible.
Dr. H is a good teacher. He is very passionate about his work and knows the material well. This course is difficult. If you do not put in the effort you will not pass. You have 4 exams that's it. The exams are not horrible if you start studying early. The exams mainly focus on what he says in lecture you do not need the book.
Don't let people scare you! I was terrified to take this class after hearing so many bad things. But I think this class is manageable if you take the time to study and go to class. Everything on the exams is based on the lectures, I literally never used the textbook. He's not the best professor but he is a nice guy and will help if needed.
I was terrified to take this course! More time consuming that it was hard. I got 100% on 2/4 exams and my one tip is to memorize the notes. Like every word. Start studying week 1 and don't stop. Use Google if you don't undertand concepts and don't bother with the textbook. You'll be okay.
