A lot of work in class, but you also learn a lot. Overwhelming at first, but then she gets slack on grading. You must come to class and must be on time. Extra credit is given which helps a lot.

This is a great writing/talking class if you want to learn and be a good writter in the business world. There is a lot of grammer/spelling that will bump you down a grade....so beware!

Prof. Kane could not have been more helpful. She helped me when I needed more exam time & made suggestions to help get my test scores up. She is giving extra credit points to help the class. If you need help, talk to her. Tough class but she's great!

Excellent teacher! I like her style in which she teaches. I would not recommend taking her if you do not plan on doing a lot of work, although the work is not that hard that she assigns. She gives extra credit opportunities to help the students out. Recommended for those who want to learn.

Great teacher, but requires a lot of work. Mostly the works seems like busy work but its any easy grade. Very understanding and really cares about her students. Take her class and you'll come out prepared for the interview process!

She's a great teacher. She helped me out alot in the class understand the material easier. VERY EASY to get in touch with outside of class. If you do what your supposed to you can get an EASY B+ out of it.

i'd give it a "duh duh duh!" from mind of mencia. seriously, it's the easiest class i've taken, it just takes up a whole lot of time that should have been spent on my major classes.

Seriously, I do not see what all the fuss is about. So, there's a lot of remedial homework and she's direct! Sorry folks, but that's the real bus. world! The hardest thing you will do in this class is the Bus. Report! Beyond that, the exams are cake, she's extremely helpful and you will gain tons of real-world useful bus. comm. knowledge.

There is a lot of work, but most of it is really easy and doesn't take long. Is very straight forward about everything. Will try to trick you on tests, so make sure you study little details. Otherwise, class was pretty easy as long as you do the work and go to class.

Ms Kane is very serious about the material. Very professional but I really enjoyed her. Only take if youare an upperclassman and are serious about you grades. Otherwise she will Filet you.

Mrs. Kane is a very fair instructor and is not very hard. There is a lot of work involved but everything she requires is outlined in the book. The tests are also straight from the book. I made an A with no problem. Be prepared to work... but this is one class where you can actually apply what you learn.

Kane is a good teacher & will help you if you dont make stupid comments and speak professionally. Material isn't hard, but tests are somewhat difficult. 3 tests, (5 ch. each), group presentation, 4 quizzes, & 2 current articles. I recommend her, but you'll have to work for your grade. Lots of opportunities to bring your grade up though.

Good teacher but anal about everything. Group Projects, she encourages creativity and class participation, but if you dont abide by her rules then its no good, no matter how hard you try. READ the chapters and STUDY the key words. Tests are kinda tricky. But if you show up to class and read you will do fine. And be Professional!!!!

Prof. Kane is great because from her class I learned such as all of her examples, homework, quizzes, and Keirsey website. They were useful for the exams. Overall, Prof. Kane is great!

People either love or hate her. Do what you are supposed to do and you will be fine. First impressions are her deal... get on her good side and stay on it. The book was actually interesting. Classes and discussions are interesting. Do your studying for tests and quizzes. They can be tricky. I REALLY liked having her as an instructor!

Mrs. Kane was one of the most difficult teachers I have had in my entire college career. With that being said, I'd like to add that she was also the most informative and accommodating. She truly wants her students to succeed not only in her class, but also in their careers. PS- Read the book! It will help you out tremendously on tests.

You actually have to read the book. The class discussions are interesting, but everything you need for the tests comes from the book. The tests are hard, but I stress... read the book. I feel like overall she really does want her students to succeed. She is very professional and 'politically correct,' and I respect the way she runs her classroom.

I don't understand why people say that she is a difficult professor. If you read the book, come to class, and study like you are supposed to, then you will make an A. Not hard at all, definitely an interesting class, and I did learn a lot. Most of the test material comes from the book. Class attendance isn't mandatory but she does take attendance.

This class does require you to be present and to read the chapters in the text. If you read the text and pay attention in class, the quizzes and exams are easy. If you have question, ask and it will be clarified. Mrs. Kane is very helpful especially for those who seek assistance.

Professor Kane is the best professor I have had at UNC Charlotte. She knows her material. She is very professional and have high expectations of her students. If you are lazy and do not want to work for your grade, do not take her course. Test are easy if you read, She is always willing to stop doing what she is doing to help you. Best professor!

Mrs. Kane is an amazing professor, really helpful and professional. To get a good grade, you just need to read the books and come to class, not a big deal. And for the people complaining about the number of questions during exams: seriously! 70 questions, it's nothing, you're not in high school anymore...

She is a very strict prof. And you do have to study textbook for her class. If are not prepared to study don't take her as you will fail. She knows her subject and makes classes interesting. Have to be prepared for every class. Got an A. Read every chapter before class to get on her good side :)

I have had professor Kane for MGMT 3140, 3241, and 3260. If you study and do your work, then you should not receive lower than a B. Getting an A isn't hard either. She is extremely helpful inside the classroom and during office hours. I highly recommend this professor. She truly enjoys teaching, and you will benefit tremendously from her class.

You either love her or hate her. Personally she was one of my favorite three professors at UNCC. Very vibrant and passionate about her subject. If you respect her she respects you and I felt like she treated me very professionally. Basically show up to class and participate, like any other class, and you will do just fine.

Mrs Kane is a brilliant professor that has a lot of inside knowledge of the in's and out's of management. She can help you with your professional development in her class and you can learn what it takes to be an effective leader. I thoroughly enjoyed this class-it was very engaging, challenging, and worth the effort. Every lecture was inspirational

If your goal is to find a professor that will give you an easy A without truly learning the objectives, please do not waste Mrs. Kane's time and expertise. She was the best professor of my entire college experience. She will do anything to help her students learn course material. She is tough, but she cares a lot about her students.

Took for 3140 & 3260. You either love her or hate her. Truly cares for students. Stern. Wants you to succeed but you must work for it yourself. Tough grader but if you actually work like you're trying to get a job after college instead of just biding time, it shows in your work & she sees that. READ THE BOOKS--Non-negotiable. Attendance mandatory.

Professor Kane is a no nonsense teacher. She tells you exactly what to expect and takes no excuses. Her exams are extremely difficult and not based on her lectures. She will always ask you to talk about something you learned in class that was not on the exam and that is the only time you can get credit for listening. Read the book and you will pass

Ms. Kane is a good professor, but do not take her if rely on powerpoints and lectures to prepare for a test. Reading and taking notes out of the book is a requirement for the way her tests are set-up. I've also found her to be helpful if you contact her and have never seen or felt some of the disrespect others have mentioned personally.

If you want your grade given to you don't take Kane. You will WORK for every last point in her class. You do however learn a lot you just have to get past her rough demeanor first. I've taken her twice its never easy but if you are in business at UNCC you will likely HAVE to take her at some point. Just show up and be PROFESSIONAL!!

This was one of the hardest classes that I have had to take in college. The material was not hard. Kane makes sure that you are reaching your full potential. I have gained so much from taking her class. And I can use this in my future career.
