This professor is amazing, very sweet, and understanding plus there's many chances for extra credit in case of any missed assignments and she's very clear on directions and grading criteria when it comes to assignments. She's definitely one of my favorites!

She likes to make class fun and will have conversations with you about interesting topics and your life. She wants you to succeed if she knows you are trying but she realizes when you are not putting the work in. If there is a conflict with your life and an assignment she will try to make accommodations. Will give you bonus if you need it.

Ms. Hunter is an awesome teacher! She is so helpful, very kind, and gives her students more than enough opportunities to have more time on an assignment or even earn extra credit. Very down to earth, and actually enjoys talking to her students and learning more about them. I enjoy having her as a Professor! :)

Favorite teachers

There are a good amount of papers, they're aren't hard but could a little long of you don't like papers. she's open to giving you extra time if needed and does a lot of extra credit but only if you are a good student who comes to class and does your work. she wont keep the class over time and will sometimes let class out early. no midterm or final.

You have to try to fail in order to fail her class. Show you give a crap and shes pretty laid back. There are quite a few papers. The book is a "requirement" I never used mine, doesn't mean that you won't need it everyone is different. Tons of extra credit. If you do not understand something she will explain until you do.

The best English professor Ive had at CCAC. I would take her classes over again if I could. Willing to help students, understands how life can get, and actually wants students to be able to pass her class. Doesnt give a lot of homework just 5 major papers. If you do them youll pass the class!

Professor Caitlyn Hunter is easygoing and approachable. Her classroom environment is relaxed, and she encourages good ideas students volunteer. Hunter doesn't keep us in class longer than necessary, and usually gets straight to the point. She likes when students are all engaged in discussion on the topics she presents.

She's a well spoken and down to earth professor. She's understanding in the fact that life happens too. All in all she's solid, kind, and respectful.

Ms. Hunter is a fair instructor who gives her students clear and constructive criticism. She teaches the course curriculum in a way that everyone (beginner to advanced) can understand. Her sense of humor and agile instruction makes lectures engaging and makes the time go by quickly. On top of all of that she's fair. No unrealistic expectations.

When I first came into Ms. Hunters class and she started explaining what she expects of us, and what we will be doing in the class I had such a hugh sigh of relief! She is a great instructor, she really engages her class by doing fun games in the beginning of class and easy extra credit points! Id highly recommend her class to anyone.

Shes a really relaxed teacher. She plays games at the beginning of class sometimes which act as exercises to help with adjectives and things like that. Shes very helpful and takes everyones opinions into consideration.

Ms. Hunter is a fun teacher to have. At the beginning of every class, we have two games to play to help us know each of our classmates well. Afterwards, we go to the class lectures. The lectures are fun and interesting. I enjoy having Ms. Hunter as my teacher.

Ms. Hunter makes Eng 102 an enjoyable class to take. Before every lecture she dose something to let everyone start out class on the right foot. When you are in her class you can tell she is there of the students inside and outside of the classroom. Ms. Hunter is looking to be one of if not my favorite teacher so far at the CCAC Boyce campus.

Professor Caitlyn Hunter has an amazing sense of humor and is very easy to understand and take notes on during her lectures. Any new college students at CCAC, I would highly recommend taking her class if you can. Shes also young, so shes highly relatable, easygoing, and understanding of life struggles and stresses. Class is also really fun.

This is an English class, of course there will be many papers to write. Professor Hunter does make her classes fun, as much as you can with an English class. There was a book listed for this course and I rented it but I really haven't used it. Professor Hunter will give you an explanation of what she wants for each paper. You can earn xtra credit.

Miss Hunter is very thorough with assignments and answering questions. She is always willing to help and wants all of her students to succeed. She is also very realistic and relatable in assigning work for her students and is understanding if a deadline or goal needs to be extended or reconfigured. I truly enjoyed this course!

Took Professor Hunter in the spring for 101 and decided to take her again for 102 in the summer. A 16 week course in 6 weeks would be hell if she wasnt the one teaching it. Def recommend if youre new and not sure who to take for an English class.

She focuses more on making you a better writer and helping you improve and excel rather than setting a ridiculous standard to meet and making it difficult.

Prof. Hunter is smart, respectful, and understanding. Her grading criteria are clear and give extra credit at the end of the semester. I found that Prof Hunter explained concepts well, had very organized lectures, answered all questions fully.

Professor Hunter is very helpful and accommodating. The varied subjects and lengths of the assignments keep the course interesting and engaging. The class difficulty is perfect for those who enjoy writing with little stress. As long as you respect the assignments and their due date you'll pass. You'll be failed if you miss more than 3 lectures.

She was very personable and remained professional while also being able to have a more social relationship with her students.None of the work was too difficult and most of everything was gone over in class in case something was missed or there was a text that was not understood. She created group activities, which made a good class environment too.
