LOVED this class. I am so sad to see it come to an end. I absolutely loved the way he used latin american novels/literature to help us understand latin american culture. this class helped me realized how much I would love to study Latin American Culture and history. Amazing prof, one of the best I've had. TAKE HIsT 351!

I took him for Unit B in Honors Core 101. Honestly one of the best instructors I have ever had. He really cares about his students, and really loves what he teaches. Even if the topic doesn't necessarily interest you, he will make you at least think about it in a way that's inspiring. If you ever have the opportunity to take him, DO IT!

Dr. Finegan is very laid back and he will work with you. He has high expectations but is glad to help in any way that he can.

Wouldn't take again

He is very kind and helps alot with edititing, but way too much unnecessary work especially when you have other courses.... to focus on this was way too much to handle . Lots of reading each week no matter how long he believes it will take you. I wouldnt take if you just need an elective
