Personally, I love biology so I usually look forward to her class. She goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material. You ALWAYS need your clicker. Tests are hard but if you study you should be okay. Lectures are a little long sometimes because I have her 8am so I'm not always fully awake. Just make an effort and it'll show.

Young professor, but still a good teacher. You've got to go to class to pass. She does give extra credit opportunities, which is a plus. Quizzes were a mix between online and pop quiz in class and she drops the lowest two. I liked the class Facebook page to receive important reminders. We did in-class group work, but it wasn't for a grade.

This was the LAST class I needed to graduate. I was super nervous about passing, since science is my most challenging subject. She was so supportive anytime I needed extra help out of class. I faulted in the beginning by skipping a lot of quizzes and not doing the extra credit. Do it! It really makes a difference!

Mrs. Price is all about student success and will help in anyway that she can. The class is fairly easy but she expects you to work for it. You must go to class if you want to pass. She does give pop quizzes, but she will hint around at it so pay attention. Really great teacher!!!

One of my favorite profs. You have power points to follow along with her lecture and the notes have fill in the blanks to see if you are participating. She has pop quizzes but as long as you're in class they are easy. If you are struggling she will work with you but you have to reach out. She also provides reviews prior to test & test bonuses.

The exams come straight from her notes, although the work is easy you do have study some if you want a high A. She does give pop quizzes but if you pay attention in class you should be fine.

Callie Price is the best biology teacher ever. She knows her material and really knows how to teach it as well. The material is super easy (Biology is easy in general) but she makes it even easier with activities and so forth. She gives a bit of extra credit opportunities and tests are super easy. Made a 101 in 1406 and taking 1407 with her now.

All you have to do is STUDY the material. Her lectures are easy and the exams are right off her notes. She encourages you to go to her office if you are struggling. Also, she has multiple extra credit opportunities and sometimes she even lets you take quizzes more than once. Take this teacher!!

She is so helpful! She drops your two lowest quiz grades, offers extra credit for every exam and she helps you with the extra credit in class, she gave us extra point for showing up the days after exams and the Wednesday of Thanksgiving break. She does give surprise quizzes just to make sure you're caught up. I NEVER used the book, don't buy it!

I had to drop down from Bio 1407 because it was to much for me for my first semester as a freshman, and she helped me so much too understand it and LOVE bio! She is their to help! Do the quizzes, extra credit and actually pay attention in class and you will be good, RECOMMENED THIS PROFESSOR!

If your a freshman, she'll be great for you. If you have common sense and the ability to listen, she's going to drive you nuts. I'm not in to professors that hold your hand through every little detail or over explain themselves constantly. Expect to get a bunch of long emails about the same thing. She's friendly but this class was mind numbing.

I have taken her for 1406 and 1407 and they were both awesome. You need to find a way to condense the material and know it all for the exams but the questions come straight from her lecture notes. By far one of my favorite professors and will ALWAYS work with you if you need extra help on a topic.

Mrs. Price gives captivating lectures and offers a good amount of bonus points towards exams if you show up and do the homework. The tests are hard, but your grade is boosted by at least ten points due to bonus. She is willing to take the time to help any student understand a concept. I took her class freshman year and failed because I didn't try or study. When I retook it I got an A. Professor Sweat gives helpful exam reviews, comprehensive homework, and stays on track during lectures. At times, she can give in-class pop quizzes, as well as random attendance credit (though she tells you this), so go to class. The class, and labs, are both easy to manage and pass, but you do have to put the work in!

It's a lot of assignments to keep up with but once you figure out the system it's totally managable. Use your calendar and keep up with due dates. She won't accept late work and is clear . She did go through the powerpoint quite fast and it was difficult to keep up at times, especially since her powerpoints were fill in.

Price is a wonderful teacher and did well with the COVID hyflex system. She gives low stake assignments and lots of extra credit--at least one per test. There's sometimes things she won't cover in class, but she always posts her powerpoints, as well as extra lecture videos and supplemental material. Highly recommend and I plan on taking her again

She cares about your grade and gives everyone extra credit. Its up to you if you do it (its a lot) but your grade will be bumped if you do all of them.

Took this class in Fall 2020. Honestly, Callie knows how to really teach, she's not boring, just listen and follow along and the information will click. She gives a whole bunch of extra credit. Plus the assignments are manageable not too hard. The assignments make you think but if you listen in lecture you'll understand.

Favorite teacher ever. She is organized and helpful when answering questions. Although, she does jump through lectures! Lots of breakout rooms! Assignments are easy to understand and complete. Test may be difficult but if you study well enough they seem to be fine. I have taken her twice and loved both of her classes. Lectures are comprehensive!

I had Mrs. Price for two semesters and she was one of my favorite professors during my time at Tarleton. Her lectures are great and she explains subjects in a way that are easy to understand. Gives extra credit for each exam, sometimes even more. Offers lots of great supplemental material you have to look at on your own.

I had Dr. Price for both BIOL 1406 & 1407 2020-2021 school year , she's one of the best biology professors i've had. The work is really easy, especially if you attend the lectures, which are laid out really well.

Dr. Price- Sweat is an excellent professor. I do warn her lectures are very long but very informational. If you are ever unsure about anything during a lecture asking questions is very easy. Her assignments and modules in canvas are very clear (she even includes videos) walking you through what is required.

I was very nervous about taking my first college-level science class, but Ms. Price made the transition much easier than I would've expected and was one of the most understanding professors I had this semester. She provides lots of extra credit assignments and the homework is straightforward. Reading the textbook helps, but isn't required for an A.

Very, very busy and it shows. Takes weeks to grade things. Practicals are extremely difficult (be ready to study a lot) Her lessons are slow most of the time (be prepared to be in lab the full two hours)
