Mrs. Burner's 373 was a great class to take! She engages her students and cares about individual students' performances. Her quizzes are easy if you study her lectures and reading the textbook is encouraged. Homework assignments every week that relate to the group project due during finals.

She is literally the nicest professor, very personable and caring. Attendance isn't mandatory but you will need the notes for quizzes bc they are mostly short answer. Basically a semester long group project centered around her choice of local business to promote. Would recommend her.

Mrs. Berner was so caring and sweet. She wants you to pass! You have a group where you work on in class group assignments & individual assignments due once a week before class. Each assignment goes towards your final presentation. She doesn't have exams, just quizzes that are open response, but if you pay attention and take notes you'll be fine.

Mrs. Cally is the sweetest! My one piece of advice is don't take this course and 444 together. It can get pretty assignment heavy. Lots of ways to earn points. Some of the assignments were difficult and was a little hard to understand the instructions but other than that its an easy class.

Very good professor, and really cares about her students and their grades. She is very lenient with due dates if need be for any emergencies etc. No written test in the class, only 3-4 quizzes which are pretty simple if you study. This class was the only elective that fitted my schedule and i thought it would be easy since it was a social media class and its not easy at all if you don't put any effort. There are assignments due every week, so there is a lot of time and effort you have to put into this class and if your are not ready for that then this class is not for you.

I have taken Cally Berner for 3 different courses and I absolutely adore her! She is willing to work with you so that you do well in class. As long as you pay attention and apply yourself you will do well. Sometimes working on one client all semester can get tiring but you get a lot of content for your portfolio in design/marketing.

Professor Berner is a great professor, her quizzes pretty much come straight from the power points. She does have a somewhat hefty work load but it is 65 percent group work, but don't think just because it is group work you can slide with not doing anything, she is attendance based so if you don't show up to class you will not get credit.

Great professor, going to class is important. If you don't show up, you don't get credit for group work. Quizzes are easy, just pay attention.

Cally is amazing! A caring, kind, and funny professor. Both times I've taken her our final was a group presentation. You don't have exams, but you will have quizzes. This is an assignment heavy class. You'll have 1-2 assignments due each week. It helps in the long run because they are all little assignments that make up your big final presentation.

Loved this class and the professor. Everyone should try to take Mrs. Cally at least once in their college experience. She has changed my out look to both my personal and professional life. She is incredibly caring and talented professor.

I had a great time taking this class, Mrs. Berner made the class interesting and dynamic. The grades are based on quiz that you take in class, homework, and group project. In general, you have two assignments to submit each week, but if you are well organized, there is nothing to be scared of! I recommend this class!

It can be a little overwhelming. Fall semester it's loaded with work because of a contest we participated. She is very good with giving a grace period after due dates. If you participate and come to class often the work should not be hard, althought it can be bit tedious because it's kind of repetitive. Also, instructions sometimes can be vague.

Do the homework and group projects and you will do just fine. Show up to class. Your grade is based off of how much you put into this class.

Mrs. Berner is not only a great teacher but also a teacher who genuinely cares about her Students and their well-being. I definitely recommend taking her course if you want to learn about marketing, have interesting/ engaging lectures and have a teacher who cares about their students!

Mrs Cally is one of my favorite professors! I've taken her for 4 classes, highly recommend!! Out of all my classes I've taken here at Southeastern, hers were definitely my favorite. She teaches a lot of real workplace experience, you are able to learn so much in her classes and her lectures are always great!

This class was more of an elective class for me, however you still need to try and participate in order to receive a good grade. Quizzes are not that bad, study and you will be fine (there are only 3 throughout the semester). There are also a lot of group assignments and a lot of chances to earn extra credit.

I really liked her social media course it was engaging and not to overwhelming. Overall Cally is a great teacher and I'm about to take her for my 3rd time she is consistent and kind!

I would definitely suggest Mrs. Cally for any marketing class. She is very understanding and super helpful. She is one of the best teachers at SELU. Definitely take her!

A lot of crucial information taught in a very well and efficient way- with a very respectable and great professor. The big project of the semester is given early so there is plenty of time to work on it and perfect it. Along that there are several smaller projects sprinkled in that work to engage and build up your skills. Again, great class.

I love Cally Berner's class. It focuses on group projects, which is a great experience before starting a real job. Ms. Cally knows everything about celebrity drama, so she is great at finding common points with her students. I definitely recommend taking her courses.

An amazing professor who gives helpful and thoughtful feedback on assignments. The class is straightforward, mainly focused on one project all semester. My only issue was the number of assignments due close together and the due dates not always matching the lesson schedule.
