I would have to say that Mr. Calvin Robinson is the best math professor I've had my entire school career. He is very clear and articulate, and also has a great sense of humor. He is always willing to help a student who is trying, and its apparent that he is not teaching just for the paycheck, but because he loves helping others. Take Him!

He's a really cool teacher! I'll never forget him. I'm not very good in math and he saw that I was trying so he passed me. He's very down to earth, keeps the class interesting with his since of humor.

I'm an older student, and I needed all the help I could get. Professor Robinson was there for me. I basically had to start from the begining. If it was not for him I would not pass the class.

I didnt think that I would ever have the much fun in a math class. He is easy to get along with. The class is on a point system. Go to class and participate and you will pass. He looks out for you if you try.

I'M HORRIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO MATH! i MADE ALL F'S ON MY TEST TO PROVE IT! AS LONG AS YOU TRY TO PAARTICIPATE IN CLASS AND SHOW SOME TYPE OF EFFORT, YOU'LL PASS. I DID! oH YEA AND IF YOU CORRECT HIM YOU'LL GET POINTS ALONG WITH THE WHOLE CLASS.

If you really try and put forth the effort then trust me, you will pass the class. He is very easy to talk to and if you have questions or you dont understand he will go over it again for you.

Words cannot explain, just take the class i promise u will not be dissapointed, he is helpful and very nice.

Prof Robinson is quite possibly the BEST teacher on campus. He is extremely down to earth and he has a crazy sense of humor. He does everything within his power to make sure that his students all have every opportunity to not only pass but to excel in his class! The absolute deffinition of what every teacher should be for their students. FAMU's proclaimed motto "Excellence with Care", he actually carries it out. In this subject that i have no interest in he made everything crystal clear, and not to mention u get extra credit everyday for comming to class. I cant stress enuff how great of a teacher he is

He gives extra credit for anything and he gives alot of it. Test are based of sample test in the back of the book. He is very nice but will sometimes go off into talking bout life. Take him if your not good in math.You WILL pass.

One of my favorite teachers here at FAMU. He's extremely helpful and gives plenty of extra credit. If you wanna pass and have a good time take him. I passed with flying colors, not because it was easy, but because i was actually interested to learn more.

Well... this man is a true comedian!!! You will laugh everyday in his class. NOW... his tests are real hard. I believe it is College Algebra in general. In order to pass, you will have to go above and beyond, like seek help elsewhere. Good luck!

Very funny,his class is impossible to fail,his test are fixed in a way no one will fail,gives extra credit for everything!Although I got an A I really didnt learn anything tho.EASY A

This professor is really nice and easy as long as you try and make sure you get ALL the EXTRA credit you should pass. The best math teacher I have seen at FAMU. He's a MUST take if you want to pass.

He truly is my best professor yet. Very nice and caring man. He wants his students to understand the work and he is very much helpful. Gives extra credit every class meeting. It is 98% impossible to fail if you attend class, show effort, and do course compass.

PERFECT BEST teacher anyone can ever have. He gives extra credit for his mistakes. He teaches so you can understand and simply if you fail its your fault he didn't even fail this one boy that never showed up. He cracks jokes that shows he is humerous and he give partial credit on every problem. You can score over 100% on every test. Easy Man!!!!

One of the best math teachers at FAMU!! he makes the material easier to understand, and gives the test questions before we start the chapt so you have an idea what to expect. He is super funny, and will have the class craking up! will advise anybody take this man, especially if your not good in the subject. Plus, GIVES SO MUCH XTRA CREDIT!!!!

I am just going to be real.He is a good teacher and he does try his best to pass you. But if you are like me where math sounds like a foreign language THE ON-CAMPUS MATH LAB IS A MUST!!! But over all he's a good teacher with a good heart.

All I can say is BEST TEACHER AT FAMU! This man will help you anyway he can. I failed most of the test and I got an A. Just come to class, show your trying, and complete your mymathlab.

Everyone is failing right now yet we didn't withdraw. I personally fail every test but found out i wasn't the only one. and i also don't understand his grading, even i get a tutor to help me with that take home test i still failed it.

Mr Robinson is really nice I didn't understand his grading and I failed all the test but still ended up with a end of the year grade of a C. He is very helpful and is a very inspiring man you can't help but smile when he walks in the room I recommend anyone to take him.

Robinson is amazing! He will explain it to you til you get he jokes with you as well. This man gives extra credit out the behind so take it all!! He will make himself available if you need him. He also gives a take home test. There is no way u cant pass this man class

Mr. Robinson is a good professor but he grades really really hard . If you don't do it the way he show you he will mark you wrong. He gives a LOT of extra credit . I literally failed all his test , I'm still waiting for my final grade in the class after the final exam. I Would recommend taking Mr. Robinson just pay attention closely in class

Mr. Robinson is so funny. You will laugh more than you learn math. Don't expect for him to actually "teach" a lesson because he comes in late every class. However like two days before a test he shows you exactly what type of problems are going to be on the test. He gives out so much extra credit. He will not let you fail, he believes in helping ppl

He strives to help students and will bend over backwards for you if you show that you want to do well in his class. For his MAC 1105 Class, you do not need the book, but it would be helpful. He will not fail you, take him if you would like an easy A.

hes a very good teacher he works with you ,he talks a lot but its only because he cares. You honestly wont learn much from him and his test are hard so i would recommend getting a tutor. definitely use mymath lab and he does reviews for his test so that helps.

I love Mr. Robinson he's so funny. But he's a good professor, even though I don't like math he's really passionate about his students learning and he really helps. Your required to do math labs and 3 exams and a final. I failed all of my exams and still passed. I took him for MAT 1033.

Attend class. He'll give you extra credit for just attending. I bought the book and access code for my math labs but ended up selling it because he opened my math labs. I rarely used my book. Never did math lab assignments and still passed. He's a great professor!!!

One of few professors who actually cares about the success of his students; even gave students his personal number the first day of class for any questions or concerns. He will not allow you to fail, even if you are failing (if that makes sense). Gives lots of extra credit points if he makes a mistake during lectures. I was GIVEN a C (not earned).

He's a great guy but, on the teacher side of things not the best. He doesn't really teach very much inside of class so you'll find yourself in tutoring or on YouTube to figure out most things. He'll give you his phone # on the first day of class to contact him. He doesn't fail anyone even if you fail all the test (a lot of people did).

Professor Robinson actually cares about all of his students. Hes a wonderful man and while math is my least favorite subject he uses a lot of real world scenarios to break it down for you when hes explaining. Theres a lot of extra credit opportunities and just participate in class to get more. As long as you try you will pass

He's one of the best math teachers I've ever had. You have to work for your grade but he won't let you fail. Do your math labs and study for tests and you should receive a B. Class participation gets you points. Don't take him for granted.

He is very caring about his students and wants us all to succeed. He is a supplemental teacher so he expects you to do the work and he will teach where he feels the class does not understand the information. Study for the tests and do my math lab and youll be fine. Great professor.

He is a humble guy but will show you how to solve a problem and move on. You will have to end up teaching yourself. Although, he's funny; funny doesn't get you an A.

Prof. Robinson will not let any of his students fail he actually cares about them. As long as you go to class and participate you will get buttloads of extra credit which will boost your grade up! we had a total of 3 test & a exam.

DONT WORRY ABOUT FAILING!!!! I had a 20% the whole semester and all I did was go to class and do the work and he made sure he passed me and everyone else in the class.

Took the course in Spring 2021 and absolutely LOVED it. He is a great person that wants to see his students pass his course. He will quite literally not let you fail. Show up, take notes, and ask lots of questions. He is very patient and will break down anything if you need more info. Barely if not no homework, just a few quizzes on the material.

Very easy going professor and is a great instructor just tends to ramble so he can be very confusing throughout the lecture. He is super caring and wants you to pass as long as you show up you will receive a ton of extra credit.

Mr. Robinson is a great math Professor. He gave a lot of extra credit to the class and as long as you show him you are putting in the effort to learn the material, he will pass you. Very motivational. His exams were not multiple choice except the final.

im ngl, he tried his best with all of us by adding a huge amount of points to our exams, but i do think having a textbook and homework to do every week would have helped me tremendously in this class. im not sure what my final grade is yet, but ive calculated it and it might turn out to be a B- only bc i attended every class.
