She can be a little slow going over the material but overall she knows what she is talking about. We were required to do projects that required statistical programs and she always made sure that students received the help they needed for the assignments. Overall she was helpful but just not did overflow with joy about the subject.

Camille was super nice, but definitely not the best lecturer out there. Many times, her explanations of concepts would get pretty convoluted and difficult to follow, and it would seem like she was contradicting herself. Fortunately, the material is not too difficult, but if you think stats will be tough for you, try to take Brian.

Labs and tests will make up most of your grade with very little buffer. You will have to be in lecture to answer clicker Q's. Crumpton was disorganized and unenthused during lectures; luckily, material isn't too difficult to understand. Most of my success in the class was from studying C++ the Summer prior from apps like SoloLearn and HackerRank.

I get the feeling that Crumpton is better at C++ than Java. She's alright if somewhat unenthused during lectures. If you talk to her after class, she's good at clearing up grades or confusion. Don't listen to the negative reviews, a lot of them are just misogynistic comp sci majors. If you even remotely like computer science and you don't hate women, this class will be fine. Labs make up a big part of your grade, but you are provided templates and gradescripts to get 90-100% on all of them easily.

Would take again

Overall, she's pretty good. Do the homework, ask TAs for help when needed, and show up to class and you'll be just fine. Tests are really fair and anyone who payed attention and took notes should pass. She lets you use one handwritten note sheet for both tests, so take advantage of that and you'll do fine

Been a minute since I took this class. Class was a breeze and she was a fine teacher. She is just super disengaged outside of class and then proceeds to post on linkedin and discords how she hates all of the new CS students and thinks were the scum of the earth. Its honestly funny how someone who puts in so little effort can get so mad.

Crumpton made me want to drop out of college one year in. Her class was horrible and she's unreachable outside of class. If you have her for an 8am she will automatically hate your entire class. Avoid her at all costs.

Like another review I also saw her LinkedIn post hating on all her new students. She barely gave any effort into our lectures, was completely inaccessible outside class (as many have said), and genuinely seemed to not care at all about our class. I almost had her for CS102 but the instructor switched last minute and it warranted a big celebration.
