All of the material in this course is very vague. Mrs. Hailey doesn't make it any easier, either. Grading criteria is based on four multiple choice exams. The tests evaluate your ability to interpret the best answer, out of two or three, that may also be correct. It's completely unethical. If it's not a requirement, avoid this class.
If you attend class there's no reason to receive less than a B in this class. Reading the book isn't necessary, but I've been told that it helps (I personally didn't read the book and I did fine). Not an easy class, but I wouldn't say it was hard.
Honestly I really liked Hailey! She's kind of coo-coo but she really loves what she is talking about and I found the class interesting. Definitely a hard class, and you will need to put work in it, but Hailey is better than Swim FOR SURE!! Plus she curves 3 points on your final grade, so you need an 87 to make an A.
There is no one person on the campus of Texas A&M I respect more than Dr. Hailey, she is fair, clear about the expectations in her class, and is very excited about what she teaches, not only does she know what she's talking about she explains it well! Tests are tough, you need to find the best answer, she does curve and has extra credit!!!
Hailey is a great prof. She gets annoyed when people ask dumb questions and you can tell, but she does a good job of making the class interesting. She has lots of good personal stories that she relates to the material. She makes a hard class enjoyable and gets students ready for the exam!
Tests are extremely difficult. READ THE BOOK AND DON'T PROCRASTINATE. I found the most beneficial way to study was to go to her office hours. Go to class! She gives extra credit! This class is quite difficult, but so much better than Swim! Take her for sure if you can! She's super sweet and friendly.
Professor Hailey was the best choice for this class! I learned so much from her. This is a difficult class that you will have to study a lot for but she gives extra credit (which is so helpful). Go to class and read the book and you should be fine. You will have to work hard but she makes the material enjoyable.
Camille Hailey is the worst professor I have ever had. Not only does she not care about students, but she is rude and ridicules anyone who asks questions or struggles. If you do not pay absolute attention she will be unpleasant and unhelpful. Her tests are horribly hard with lots of vague material application. You must literally memorize the notes.
This class has a constant workflow and you can't fall behind. Hailey is great at explaining all of the concepts and sets students up for success on the tests. Go to class and pay attention or you won't do well. This class is difficult, but that is just the way MGMT 211 is. Study the course pack for test, the book is extra material if you need help!
BEST PROF EVER! It is difficult but it is so worth it. Don't miss class. She is great at explaining everything. She really cares about teaching and makes an amazing course pack. TAKE HER!!
There are no good options for MGMT 211. Prof. Hailey is so knowledgable and is honestly a really nice person, but it is impossible to do well in her class. You will study for days for the tests and hope and pray for a B, and she grades the papers in the most subjective way possible. Very interesting class but hardest one I've ever taken.
Took this class during the summer. Hailey takes the time to explain the concepts of each law and contract as much as possible and provides examples for everything. The only issue is that there is SO much stuff to learn in a short amount of time and is very stressful. But she offers a lot of extra credit and adds 3 attendance points to final grade.
Outstanding professor!! Passionate about the subject, GREAT at explaining and giving examples. Such an interesting topic. I wish the class was a full year to cover all the content. Make study guides, take organized notes in your coursepack, and try to recite a lot. Go to her office hours to review your tests and host study groups. Love her so much.
sHE ONLY HAS 4 GRADES- 3 EXAMS AND PARTICIPATION. eXAMS ARE SOOO HARD. VERY DETAILED, CRAZY OPTIONS. CLASS IS FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN LAW. HR MAJORS, DONT TAKE IT. EXTRA CREDIT IS 10 POITNS ADDED ONTO LOWEST EXAM GRADE IF YOU MISS 2 OR LESS DAYS OF CLASS. MAKES YOU DO 45 CASE BREIFS.... VERY DIFFFICULT TO EXPRESS UR OPINION IN CLASS
Professor Hailey is by far one of my favorite professors at Texas A&M. Her lectures and course packet are key to success in the course, and the book is highly recommended for the cases and extra credit opportunities. She gives a 3 point bonus to your overall grade if you don't miss class more than twice, and assigns 10 E.C. assignments from book.
Prof. Hailey is a great choice for 211. The tests she writes are very picky, as is the way she grades writing assignments, but she's very clear about that upfront and is ready to answer questions during or outside of lecture. She offers a lot of EC, including three points on the final grade for two or fewer absences.
I really enjoyed Hailey's class. She's a tough grader and writes tricky tests for sure, but she is always upfront about her expectations and gives plenty of resources to make good grades on everything in the class. Read the textbook, do the Mindtap, quiz yourself over the Course Pack, study the case briefs, and you should be fine.
This was a pretty hard class, but Prof. Hailey was a great teacher! I spent the most time reading and doing homework for this class, but I didn't end up with the grade I wanted. Regardless, I learned so much about business law, and I don't regret taking it with Prof. Hailey at all!
As a non-honors student taking honors 211, I was concerned. Hailey eased all of my concerns. Very upfront about what she expects, offers a lot of extra credit and open office hours. Put in the work. Read the textbook, make flash cards, write out terms. One of the hardest but most rewarding classes I've taken. Definitely recommend Hailey.
Hailey is the best prof I've had thus far. She has very high expectations but clear grading criteria. Four tests each worth 25%. Lots of extra credit. Recommend doing all of the exercises and going over all of the cases she assigns. Difficult tests, but you can make an A with effort. Very open to questions and gives excellent responses. 10/10
Hailey is the best professor I have ever had. The class is very challenging, but so worth it. She makes class interesting and fun. Get ready to work!
Professor Hailey is a really great professor! She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, but it still takes a lot of work to get an A. Definitely a better option than any other MGMT 211 professor. I thoroughly enjoyed the class.
100% take her over Swim. The class is still really hard, and I found that she is not super receptive to certain questions during office hours or class. Read the book, do all the extra credit, MindTap, and go over case problems.
This was the hardest class I have ever taken in my life, but it was also the most rewarding. Prof Hailey was amazing. Your grade is based on the four exams only, and they are super difficult. You must memorize everything, not just understand it. She is passionate about what she does, and it makes coming to class actually fun. There is extra credit.
Prof Hailey is an amazing teacher! Her course is lecture heavy but she makes it so interesting! She clearly explains the material and uses memorable examples. This course is a lot of work but she is awesome! Recommended: attend ALL classes, review your notes after EVERY class, read the textbook, ask questions, etc.
Hailey was one of the best professor's I've ever had! She is so nice and gives out up to 15 points of extra credit. Now this is the hardest class I've ever taken at tamu and the exams are extremely difficult but just do the mindtap, the extra credit, and study and you should do okay.
Took her for honors MGMT. Fantastic professor, made class enjoyable. I genuinely learned so much. Her honors sections are very different from the regular sections; new structure, assignments, etc. Regardless, if you have the privilege to take her, DO IT! it is a hard class but a great class.
Professor Hailey is HANDS DOWN the best prof f I've ever had at TAMU. Her class was difficult so you need to be prepared from the first day of class to put in major work. But she is more than willing to work with you and better your understanding of the course concepts. I wish every professor was this caring and knowledgable.
This class is very difficult, but its not as bad if you go to class everyday. Her exam questions are so tricky and confusing and can easily screw up up even if you know the material very well so beware. Only grades in this class are the 4 exams and the 10 Mindtap quizzes (easy A). Over 80% of your grade comes from exams so STUDY!
Hailey is a GREAT professor but the class is still beyond hard. I would study for days before an exam and still make consistent 88's. There is so much material and YOU MUST KNOW ALL OF IT! Don't assume that her not spending a lot of time on a concept in class means it won't be on the test, it will. Study, study, and study more.
Professor Hailey is caring, but the class is tough. As all the other reviews stay, study hard, but don't beat yourself up over the difficulty of the exams. Make sure you attend her lectures and read the textbooks, otherwise you'll struggle a LOT. Overall, a super tough class, but the best professor for it.
This is the hardest class I've ever taken at A&M. There's so much to read and despite giving in your 100% to this subject, you won't score good on exams because her exams are SUPER tough. You will always be confused between the choices. Although she's good at explaining, she goes super fast in class because of which it's hard to write everything.
Honestly the strangest teacher I have ever had. Decent professor, but she is incredibly passive aggressive. Doesn't care too much about students as she hates receiving emails, and parts of me feels like she hates her job. Spends so much time talking about her "lawyer days" that she often gets off topic. Shows zero empathy as a professor.
Difficult course, but Hailey's amazing. Her tests are super tough, but if you try your hardest and study weeks in advance of tests, you should do well. During COVID, you have the choice of going online, but going in person to every class helps your grade. Hailey is a caring professor who genuinely wants her students to succeed.
Take her over Swim if they're the only 2 options. She's an excellent prof, but the course is tough. Not her fault, she does a great job at explaining things. There's just a lot of material to cover. Be prepared to read the textbook, and study 24/7, but it's worth it. She makes the class entertaining and really cares about her students passing.
Professor Hailey is a great professor! You have to show up to do good, and tests are hard but doable. She sometimes gets off on political rants and it gets annoying, but definitely not horrible. If you have to take MGMT211 take it with Hailey! Best professor for this class for sure!
I LOVE Professor Hailey. She is an amazing professor and knows her stuff very well. Choose her over Swim if you can. Her tests arent too bad but definitely study and read the book and her notes as much as possible. A lot of it is memorization. Her quizzes are super easy. Only reason I got a C is because I didnt take the first test seriously.
This class is tough. First exam I got a B. Next two I got super high As. STUDY WITH SOMEONE. Memorize the material and make sure you understand all the criteria for certain laws. Hailey is absolutely fantastic and will help you if you go to her office hours. We actually have become friends. She's literally coming to my wedding. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT.
Professor Hailey is a really good professor but the material she teaches is tough. A lot of memorization and application. Gives some good extra credit which you will need because her tests are very tricky. Overall great professor. I love listening to her lectures.
She is very knowledgeable about what she teaches on and the lectures prepare you for the exams. STUDY THE COURSEPACK as she makes the tests over this. A good grade is achievable but you will have to study to understand.
Prof Hailey is amazing. Her class content is heavy but she does a great job explaining it/has plenty of experience related to course content. Class is based on 4 exams, (10) quiz average, and 10 possible extra credit points. Make sure you reread and take detailed notes. Prof Hailey is a great resource for studying tips during office hours
Professor Hailey is by no means a bad professor, but her course is rigorous. If you have the time and patience to memorize all of the information before the tests you should do okay. Its a tough class so do not be discouraged if your grade is not what you want.
Great lectures and very helpful prof- Hailey really wants you to succeed. If you ask for help in office hours she will help & gives extra credit opportunities almost every week- 10pt Go to every class because that is the only way to fill in your lecture notes (that you need to buy). Memorize every law/topic covered in course packtopics tested over
Hailey is an awesome professor that really knows what she's teaching. She gives out 10 extra credit points that add up to your lowest exam grades. BE CAREFUL!!! NOT!!! to lose these papers at the end of the year as she sometimes doesn't give you the points and will need proof that you did them. Other than that be glad you didn't have to take Swim.
This class is difficult, though is not impossible. Professor Hailey does a fantastic job at teaching this class. She keeps you engaged every single lecture and is very honest about what is going to be on exams vs not. If you study you will do great. She is always available outside of class to help. One of my favorite classes I have ever taken!
Great professor, really knows what she's talking about. It's business law, so its hard but she offers extra credit and is very helpful if you ask. Do the assignments! She rounded me up because I did them all.
Hailey does an amazing job teaching this material & making it interesting. This is a difficult class, but it kinda depends on how your brain works. I made the notes into a fill in the blank Quizlet before each exam and made high A's on every exam. Do the extra credit and GO TO CLASS because otherwise you will not do well. But an A is possible fosho
She was a kind and fun professor, but her lectures were kind of boring. Take really good notes, pay attention in class, do the practice questions and you should be fine on the exams. The exams are pretty difficult and memory heavy, so memorize your notebook...ALL OF IT. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities, so it helps your grade a lot.
Definitely strict and will not round an 89.9 to a 90, which is something she made clear day 1. Stay on top of assignments and do all the extra credit. Devote the necessary time to the class and you'll do fine.
Makes a content heavy course a bit easier. Pay attention in class, study a bit and a very doable A. She does a good job trying to tell stories and make legal content easier to learn.
Hailey's lectures were interesting and made a long class much more bearable. The class is definitely not easy, but an A is doable if you put some effort into studying. Showing up to class and paying attention will definitely help with understanding the material better. The extra credit opportunities help a lot with boosting exam grades.
Prof. Hailey is easily one of the best profs at Mays. Her lectures were never boring and it made it very easy to retain the information. She gives plenty of example cases both on Canvas and verbally in class. Make sure to write down some extra notes in your course pack and you'll do great. I just read through my notes before the exam!
Great professor. There is a lot of reading that needs to be done before the test, but it makes up for there being basically no homework. The lectures are enjoyable.
The class is pretty straight forward. I barely read the textbook,(just the coursepack) and got an A. Do the extra credit though because I would have gotten a B w/o it. One of my favorite profs at A&M.
Loved Professor Hailey. Was intimidated by this class at first, but it ended up being one of my favs and truly not that hard. Go to class, take good course pack notes, do the extra credit. I read the textbook too but studying the course pack ( and making flashcards/ study guide)is the most important. Hailey is fair, clear expectations, and helpful.
Took this class during the summer and was also initially nervous because I've heard it can be difficult, but Professor Hailey really does guide you through the course well and provides amazing examples of the material to better understand during lectures. By no means would I say this class is easy but an A is definitely attainable with good notes
This professor is really nice; she tries to engage with students despite being in a 300+ student class. This class is not an easy A; Go to office hours because she gives really good explanations of what you missed on your exam. In the first 2 Exams the average was 70-72 and she curved up to 75. The last exam average was 86, so it gets better.
Read Textbook Take Additional Lecture Notes Professor's Helpers Not Helpful
This course has been one of my favorites in my college career! It is a tough class and so much information to remember, but her lectures are so interesting and make you actually want to go to class. Her guided lecture notes help so much and shows exactly what will be on the exams. Make flash cards to study for the exams! There is also extra credit.
She straight up rambles half the time to then give you the most ridiculous tests I've taken at TAMU.
Prof Hailey makes the class bearable, but the amount of content and memorization required for the tests is absurd. The lectures alone are not enough to be prepared for the test because there is not enough time for her to teach all the material. Do any additional practice questions she provides. How you do on the test determines how you do in class
Honestly such an amazing professor. You can tell that she is so knowledgeable about the subject and gives so many amazing examples. Attendance is not mandatory however if you do not attend class to fill out her lecture outline you will not do well. Mindtaps are nothing like exams, do no rely on those. The 10 assignments are easy, just write a lot.
An old fashion professor. Her knowledgeable is outdated about the subject and her lectures are about her family. Do not rely on the Mindtaps assignments as they are not like the exams. The amount of memorization required for the tests is absurd. The lectures are not enough to prepare for the tests because the professor is unprofessional.
During lectures she rambles off topic and complains about her family problems. Test lack validity considering they are not related to her lectures.
So glad to be done with this class, I couldn't stand listening to her lectures about how miserable her family is, I wish she spent more time covering the material then complaining about her family life.
This is not the easiest CBK ever but it's also not near as bad as people make it out to be. There is 1 maybe 2 homework assignments each week that take like 15 minutes each. That's it. Yes, the week of the exams you have to read a lot if you want to do well. But that's only exam weeks. Budget your time, study a lot for the exams and you're good!!!!
terrible class. terrible exams. rambles about her family and has a god complex when it comes to law. do not recommend
Hailey is an amazing professor. Her lectures are engaging and she is clearly very well-versed in law. Do not listen to the comments that say otherwise. A lot of comments have been made that she "rambles about her family," which I have yet to experience. Pay attention and make flashcards, and you will do well.
This class was super interesting but Camille Hailey made this class boring and ruined it for so many people. She complains about her family problems and her lecture has nothing to do with the exam questions. Her exam questions also basically have super similar answer choices which will make you suffer. She lives for people to suffer it seems like.
Lectures are rambling
As long as you go to class you will be fine. Do not listen to poor reviews. She is so caring and really wants her students to succeed. She offers tons of extra credit and will listen to you if you need any help. She is the biggest advocate for her students and very knowledgable. Hailey is the best!
Truly such an amazing and knowledgeable professor with great lectures. Go to class, it rlly is interesting. She always encourages us to come to office hours and will give personalized help and time if you go. Exams definitely require a lot of studying, but her lecture guide and class examples prepare you. She gives extra credit. Take for 311.
Glad to be done, her lectures ramble off topic, typically lead to her just spending most the time talking about her family life, seems she doesn't have much knowledge on the subject, would recommend reading the book it's the only knowledge you'll leave the class with.
This class was your standard large-lecture, textbook-heavy course. There was little engagement with Hailey but she seemed like a nice person and was super knowledgable. Her lectures are a little over-packed with info and the entire course seemed like way too much material for a required management course.
She is a great professor and this stuff about rambling in lectures is nonsense. She is well-versed in law and does a great job explaining it to students. Your grade is 90% Exams, so do NOT blow off an exam, and make sure you study diligently and early. Do not miss lectures and pay attention. Hard material, and a great professor.
Glad to be over with this class. I don't have to hear about her family life anymore.
Prof Hailey is genuinely one of my favorite profs I've ever had at TAMU. Go to class (it's interesting!), take the lecture guide notes, and you'll do fine!! She loves her job and is super knowledgeable. This class will make you think a lot, but in a good way
bad prof
Not an easy class by any means. If you go to lectures, take good notes on her outlines, and read the textbook, you'll do fine on her tests. Her tests can be tricky, but she does offer extra credit for each exam which is so easy to do. The class was useful but a lot of material to memorize for each test.
On average you will get 6-8 points back per exam grade from extra credit and curves. Very hard to memorize everything but paying attention in class reduces the effort you need to put in outside of class. Some information is important to know in general, especially at the beginning of the course. Don't worry about it, just try.
Her lectures are so poor that she has to offer more extra credit than other professors, just to keep up with their competition.
She did not care about my disability and calmed that I was lying. If you have a disability, then his professor with harm you as she does not care to help you.
She discusses topics that is unrelated to the course and her knowledge dates back to 1999, 25 years ago.
Hailey encourages you to take responsibility for your own learning and 311 rewards every ounce of effort you place into learning the content. Study with friends and take advantage of office hours with one of Mays's best professors to do well in the course. MGMT 311H is not for the faint of heart, but will be extremely rewarding if you work hard.
She treats her students very poorly and doesn't care about adjusting to their emergency events/disabilities. She claimed that the girl next to me was lying about their disability which is just so inconsiderate for her. Her lectures are interesting but the exams do not make sense at all. She needs to get fired. Her poor kids have to deal with her.
Worked my butt off by reading the textbook/lecture outline she provides. However, they have nothing to do with the exam. And the exam answer choices are basically all the same. She needs to do better and not set students up for failure. DO NOT TAKE HER EVEN IF YOU ARE BUSINESS HONORS!
The honors section was brutal. The test had FRQ's, there was a whole trial you had to prepare for, etc. Despite this, I will say her lectures were interesting but had nothing to do with the tests. The tests were honestly illogical and sometimes had no correlation between the exams and the content of it. Hope she's gone soon. Do better Camille.
Hailey needs to focus on teaching students instead of making students learn on their own. There is something wrong with the professor when you need extra help to study with friends, who previously took the class. School is about learning, "working smarter not harder", but she makes you work hard for a grade and no other award.
Don't waste your time! If her course is required go to a different college period. This professor caused emotional destress to many students, especially disabled students; she has been caught many times stalking students on the internet and real life; and her law certificate was taken away in 2021 (ask Texas Bar). She needs to turn herself in!
I'm shocked by the low ratings! She is an amazing prof who brings in real examples to bring the law to life. The exams are difficult (honors class especially) but I never read the textbook and just worked hard to memorize the lecture notes, & w EC I got high As. Whenever theres a list of info to memorize for a term, write it out 3-5x before exam
Mgmt 311 honors. Exam 1 average was a 69, no curve given. Chance to make 1/4 credit back on a few questions if could get it right the “second time”.
Her examples are 25 years out of date. She needs to update her syllabus and material. Working hard to memorize lecture notes is NOT teaching. No real company is going to hire students because they knew some legal terms. It will be cheaper for the college and students to buy the textbook and fire Camille.
It's a shame that most of the students fail the exam. This shows that the professor does not teach. The college should find a new professor or allow students to self study with the TAs since the TAs are grading the assignments. This professor wasn't even at her office hours nor answers emails.
Camille Hailey is extremely knowledgeable about the topics she teaches. However, her lectures do NOT help the exams in the slightest. She treats her honors kids as if they were in law school pursuing a JD. I enjoyed the mock trial as well as the case briefs, but the exams were just tough. She was not very helpful in office hours at all.
The class is challenging, but doable with diligent studying. Lectures are engaging, but exams don't always align. unstuckstudy was a game-changer for my test prep. Overall, a rewarding experience if you're willing to put in the work.
idk why people do not have good feedback. I LOVED her and this class. The first exam, pls pls pls study more than you think you need to. Her guided notes help a ton. I started making flashcards based on the notes and did very well after my first exam making a 50 on it. If you study, you will be just fine. She makes class fun and interesting.
I agree with the other students this class is challenging because the professor does not teach and you have to study the textbook. The lectures do not align with the exams so there is no point to go to them other than to get the questions for the assignments because the professor does not know how to use the canvas.
You have to study a lot more because the professor is unorganized and will not teach the class during her lectures. Her guided notes are outdated and may or may not be on the exams. The average on the first exam was around a 60. She does not curve. She picks on random students during her lectures and exams. TAKE A DIFFERENT PROFESSOR!
A great professor who really cares about her students. Its a difficult class with a lot of content but if you listen to what she says and read the textbook its not too bad. Very accessible outside of class and can help answer any questions. Highly Recommend!
you just have to study a lot bc of how the course is structured. show up to class and take notes. exasm get curves + there is extra credit and bonus points
I think Hailey is such a great proff. Her lectures are so interesting. The exams are tough but she gives extra credit and curves. Go to class, sit in the front, and heavily study the guided lecture notes and you'll be fine! I never even really looked at the textbook, if anyone says the class notes weren't helpful just didn't study them enough.
Mrs. Hailey does not deserve all these bad reviews. This class is challenging, but she curved every exam and offered five extra credit points for each unit. She is the most knowledgeable professor I've ever had, and her office hours are super helpful for further knowledge and study tips. Go to class, test questions are based on lectures!!!!!
At first, this class made me doubt myself, however, remember this is a hard class, and it's okay to struggle, just try different studying methods and see what works best for you! My first exam I made around a 60 and the final exam I received a 92. make sure to go to lectures and study hard. i didn't like the constant political talks in lecture tho.
Literally one of the best profs I've had. Her lectures are so interesting and she teaches very well. She doesn't just read off slides, she engages with us and makes concepts easy to learn. The lectures notes are helpful in condensing what u need to learn, so study those for exams! Easy HW, curves + extra credit, exams aren't too difficult.
I thought this was a great professor and overall easy class. As long as you take the time to learn the material and pay somewhat attention to her lectures its an easy A. This professor wants you to pass and offers extra credit. I thought her class was interesting and the homework she assigns can be done in ten minutes.
She was one of my favorite professors I have ever had, and she was knowledgeable about the subject. However, her exams were really hard, no matter how much I studied. Also, if you do badly on one exam, there is no chance to bump your grade.
Prof Hailey is a very experienced attorney which makes her knowledgeable on business law. She is good at teach materials, but the class and exams often don't fully align and there is far too much information to memorize all that she gives you.
does not care about students. does not explain her content at all
grade is determined by only a few tests, some homework. guided notes are important- don't miss class! constantly talks about politics to the point where even like-minded/conservative students get annoyed. go to office hours, she's a helpful lady. only prof atm, tbh take someone else if you can esp if you don't want to be a lawyer
Professor Hailey was not my favorite at first, but trust she grows on you. She intentionally makes her lectures engaging by using real-life examples and she has a genuine interest in her student's success. Although the class is graded by few things, if you really apply yourself, you can do great. Exams are hard, but if you study, you'll be fine!
Although this class is difficult, professor Hailey makes lectures interesting and is good at explaining. The tests are difficult and require a lot of studying, my biggest piece of advice would be to re-write the entire outline, it significantly improved my grade on exams. She curves almost every exam and theres extra credit opportunities.
One of my favorite professors at Mays - her exams are really difficult but her lectures are interesting and her outline makes it fairly easy to study. She's also really accessible during office hours and is always willing to help. It'll be a tough class, but you'll learn a lot and it will be really rewarding by the end of it.
Prof Hailey is one of the best profs I've had at Mays. She is an amazing lecturer and truly makes you understand the materials. Her notes outline is very good, but you need to go to class to learn. Her exams are quite difficult, so you need to study and know how to apply the law. She curves grades and offers extra credit for each exam.
NO LAPTOPS, NO SLIDES, NO VIDEOS 90% Exams, 10% participation homework YOU HAVE TO GO TO LECTURES - forced to fill in her pre-made notes, which match the test Lectures are tough to sit through, but often curves tests by 10+ points and usually offers ~3-5 points of extra credit on each exam. Very accessible and productive group office hours
Professor Hailey is amazing! This class is by far my favorite class of college so far! She is very clear with what you need to do to do well and is an amazing teacher. Go to class! Her lectures and examples really help when it come to studying and understanding the material. You must take notes on paper or on your iPad, but they are very organized.
Hailey is one of the best educators I've ever had and this was my favorite class at Mays yet. She's an expert at law (also has amazing outfits), makes class interesting (if you like legal studies), and super helpful at office hours. Tests weren't bad if you thoroughly read the notes & textbook. If Hailey taught all my classes I'd have straight As
Camille is a great lecturer backed with professional law experience. Easy homework + extra credit makes getting an A very manageable. Take good notes using her outline, and attend class to do well. No need to read the textbook. Exams are tricky, but questions are always fair and cited directly from her notes and lectures
Only studied/memorized the outline and lecture notes and made a 91, 101, 89, and 91 on the four exams. Study the hardest for the first one so you can get used to her question style. Super easy class even though I would sometimes fall asleep. A lot of republican commentary, but great lecturer. Never read the book/emailed her. Take slide pics!
Great lectures. The class is decently hard but doable if you put that work in. Hailey makes it very doable but does love to mention her own opinions often.
YOU CAN GET AN A. Attend lectures, take good notes, enhance them with the textbook, MAKE YOUR OWN FLASHCARDS. Memorize. Everything. 100%. She gives extra credit and curves. Final is not cumulative and there was bonus questions. Homework's are EASY and effort based. You literally just need to try. She is really sweet too.
