Im taking her for Lab and she is awesome I would definitely recommend her for Lab and I heard shes also an awesome lecture teacher...=)

She is an amazing teacher. She is extremely helpful and she is very passionate about her job. She is always willing to stay after class if you need extra help or if you just wanted more clarification on a concept. I am taking both her lab and lecture and she makes both equally fun and interesting. :)

AMAZING teacher...she follows exactly what the department lays out as guidelines (even though sometimes i think she would rather not),,,super helpful and pleasant to be around...Never made me feel like my questions were an imposition like some bio prof have...quizzes very straightforward w/no tricky questions...take her class if u can

Great teacher! I was dreading this class before I had her. Only need her notes (no textbook) but make sure to attend classes to get details. Tests have m/c and short answer but if you do the homework you will be fine. She loves micro and tries to make others love it too... very "exciting"!

Take this teacher. She is awesome at teaching and really cares. Gives you everything you need to suceed. I'm actually grateful for the homework because it sets you up for success on the tests. Hands down the best bio teacher I've had at CSN!

No need for a text book.. Uses mostly powerpoint. Loves what she teaches, and is adorable to listen to, especially when she is talking about her favorite micro organisms. I wish I had her as my lab instructor as well.

Have Dr.N for Bio251L & love her. She's straight forward, explains things well w/o giving too much info, VERY helpful. Quizzes are short answer; Practical - combo technique & short answer. Provides study guide. Experiments highlight concepts. Great Professor!

She is the best professor at csn. She always willing to help her students suceed. You still have to put in work and study if you want a good grade. All of her exams are based off of her lecture notes. Chose her you can't go wrong.

Dr Naakgteboren is the best she has all her lecture notes posted online, which makes it easier. She is very clear and makes sure her students understands before she moves on to her next slide. Take her as long as you study you will do good.

Professor Naaktgeboren is a wonderful professor. I didn't like biology at all before taking her, and now I'm hooked. She will work with you to help you understand the material - which was very appreciated. That being said; It's not an easy A class.

She is a great prof. She loves what she does and you can tell. If some of the students would actually grow up and try to learn maybe she wouldn't get mad. Her test are exactly what she teaches. It is not like she made an exam on something she didn't cover. If you rally want to learn something take her.... She is a great prof!!!!

very helpful the class requires you to study this is not an eay class but if you do the work you will get the grade you deserve she is one of the good teachers at this school so study show up to class and you will be happy with your grade also if you have a question use the office hours she really does help

This professor has some bad reviews, I was skeptical, but she lectured with powerpoints. Let us leave early if she finished lectures, let us miss a few days, we were completely on track still. Helped us with games and gave 5 extra credit points. Tests aren't too brutal. TAKE HER

Dr. Naaktgeboren is a very intelligent woman and with a little effort you can learn a lot from her instruction. Her lectures, while a little slow, are very informative and the subject material is beyond entertaining. She is very approachable and seems to enjoy her career as an educator a great deal.

TAKE HER FOR MICROBIOLOGY! Very easy exams with extra credit points. She cares a lot about her students passing. Also, never puts down tricky questions. She's very straightforward! You don't need the textbook, just study her notes and listen to lectures.

She is a great professor and makes a difficult class not so bad. She gives 5 exams and a final, so if you don't get the information meet with her, or google it. This class covers a lot of material so be prepared to study a lot. All the information you need come from her slides. So there is no need to buy the book.

I took Honors course and it ended up being my favorite class of the semester. Micro isn't easy, but its not supposed to be. Professor is very helpful to students who are putting in the effort to do well. Wish she taught other classes I need to take!

She takes her time to explain every concept and make sure you understand, her classes can be a little slow sometimes but you have enough time to process all the information and understand it well. Dr. N made class & lab fun. She is the best professor I've had at CSN. You do not need the book which she tells you. 4 Exams & a final are based on powerpoint notes, homework (which are great study guides), & she gives additional study guides. It doesn't get better than that. I got an A. If you study there is no reason to not do well.

Dr. N is a great instructor she makes everything very clear.The exams are part multiple choice and part essays.this is the first course that I never used the book but still got an "A". Be sure to go to lectures because all the exam questions are based on it.

She is wonderful! I've never had a biology prof. that has been so crystal clear. The whole class was always looking forward her lectures. Everyone has chances to ask questions during and after lecture. You will NOT be bored in her class. TAKE HER! study what she tells you to study and you will do fine!

Camille is by far the best professor I've had at CSN. She's amazing and I would take her again! Her test are straight forward, just do the crosswords and assignment packets and you'll do fine. Her lab is also amazing too, she is always willing to answer questions. I wish she taught more classes!!

Overall a great class. She teaches the basic does not go super in depth and tests are simple and mainly based on big picture concepts but you definitely have to put your effort into it, at least 16 hrs per test (4 tests, 1 final). She is very, very nice and is always available for any questions. Gives a lot of extra credit! Who does not love that?

Best class I took this semester! Lectures are in PP form and she explains things well making it easy to understand each topic. As long as you show up to class and take notes this will be an easy class. Her tests are straight from lecture. Also, she is great at providing extra study tools online if you need them. She wants her students to succeed

Dr N is a wonderful professor. She gives well thought out lectures and a clear syllabus. There are 4 exams, a final, some homework and in class assignments. She is kind, considerate and truly cares about her students learning. I only wish she could have taught lab!

Dr. N is awesome! She answers emails the same day or the next day. She lets you know what chapters to read so you don't have to read the whole book. She gives extra notes on line and gives a study session on campus before every test. The tests are all multiple choice and mix and match. I procrastinated in this class and still got a B.

Dr. N is a fantastic instructor. Her assignment system is basically "Here's your assignment and here is the due date, please finish it by then." Her synopsis of chapters are also very good if you don't have the book.

Throughout the semester she was very clear on what needed to be completed she also would advise when to begin the units in order to complete deadlines. A lot of reading is involved, if you do not study you will NOT pass. There were two deadline dates to complete. Great communication. 4 exams (proctored), 8 quizzes (online), 1 Final.

Only 4 exams (proctored so be prepared for this) and 5 labs. You must be self disciplined and read the chapters. Dr N, gives good feed back and always answers emails in a relatively quick manner and offers to meet with in person if you have any issues. She also gives the opportunity for extra credit. I would absolutely take her class again

Very clear assignments and deadlines. 4 tests you have to take at a testing center proctored and she gives you a review sheet of exactly what's on the test so if you study by those guidelines you will do great! Working full time w/ 2 other classes and getting an A. Take if you want to get a preview of bio before taking more classes.

She is a great professor. She provides chapter summaries and study guides for each exam. The book she provides is really easy to read/understand. I would love it if she was a BIO 189 professor. Just make sure you read the book and chapter summaries and you'll get everything.

Good clear instructions. Took BIO95 and you were on your own since she lets you turn in things until half the semester and others at the end of the semester. Do not procrastinate. Your own your own. Reread chapters and paragraphs and watch YouTube vids until you understand the subject. If you think of science as amazing and you will pass!

She is BY FAR the best professor I have ever had. She goes above and beyond to make sure we are successful, and she makes microbiology so interesting. She is so nice, and our discussions in lecture are always fun. I would take her again and again if I could. I wish she taught more classes! You will not regret taking her.

She had done a lot of work for students such as posted her youtube lecture on canvas, study guides and group work assignment etc. She is the best among all the micro profs! you will love her lecture. I can't say enough great things about her! She truly cares about her students, their success, and their overall understanding of the material. Gives online lectures. Microbiology is a difficult subject to grasp , but by being able to listen and repeat previous lectures it made it all come together . Dr. N is a gem of a professor. She takes a tough subject such as Micro and makes it interesting/breaks it down so you can understand the concepts and pass. You still have to put the time, effort, and studying in. All these years later I still haven't forgotten because she taught so well. Thank you Dr. N!

Took this class during the summer, it's a lot of material for 8 weeks, but if you work you can do well. Dr. N is a great professor, the lectures were long but she makes them engaging. This class isn't strictly online-you'll still have to go to the testing center on campus to take your exams. Overall great class, Dr. N shows how it's applicable!

She makes this class very easy to understand. Gives excellent lectures and clear explanation. I'd recommend her for any class you have to take. Excellent professor! The only way you fail is by not showing up, and not participating. She makes the most difficult subject matter enjoyable.

Hands down, I would take her for any bio class she taught. She is an AMAZING teacher and her tests are not confusing at all! Dr N is highly intelligent, down to earth, explains the topics well. Hybrid weekend lecture was perfect for my schedule. No book, you watch online lectures before class, then discuss everything. In class assignments to reinforce info. Don't fall behind on lectures. She responds quickly to emails and will meet up w/you. Exams have bonus sections.

Her lecture and study materials are super easy to understand considering this is not a simple course. She provides you with everything you need for lecture and to prepare you for the exams which include a few essay-style questions. I only used the book as a reference but you don't really need it to pass. I would definitely take her course again.

Dr. N is a real gem. I am taking her weekend hybrid class because it works best with my schedule. I love Dr. N's class. She breaks down things like bacteria and microbes to where it is understandable. I feel she is one of the best micro teachers at CSN.

Dr. N is fantastic. You must earn your grade in this class. Microbiology is very interesting and filled with detail you will be tested on. Luckily Dr. N gives amazing lectures and definitely makes class fun. Do not slack in this class. You will definitely get the grade you want if you work for it.

Be on top of her requirements and deadlines. Study before each class for the quiz for easy points and do not skip her bonus questions during exams. Points you accumulate will help you maintain a great average. Watch out for exam 4, it was the hardest.

Was skeptical about taking 251 online (and over summer session while still working full-time) but Dr. N is amazing! Very eloquent, lectures are youtube videos (you can pause/rewind as needed), gives clear deadlines with lots of time, great feedback (can e-mail/meet with you if needed). 4 exams, 4 assignments, 1 case study, 1 final. No book needed!

There's 4 tests total and a final. Dr. N is really understanding and straight to the point with her tests. She teaches normally on the weekends and I would definitely recommend her. She gives you study guides to go along with the videos. Put the time and effort and you will pass.

Took her online along with Bio 224. This was by far the easier class mostly because she had very clear lectures, grading criteria, and expectations. Exams taken at testing center but final at home. Exam questions directly from lectures, no mental gymnastics. Case study worth 50 pts, 2 news article reviews due every unit for 5 points pts each.

Best Microbiology Professor! All the material is in her lectures even if you are taking her online or in class. I Took her in class and I'm glad I did! she gives awesome feedback and wants you to succeed in the healthcare field!

Dr. N was AMAZING. Lectures are extremely straight forward and the info is very easy to follow and digest. Always open to explain things in more depth and most lectures are available online. HW and quizzes werent bad. Test were fine as long as you studied. And everything is without a textbook, and comes from the lectures word for word. Enjoy!

Online was great and simple. Have to physically go to campus to take exams, all other work is done at home. YouTube lectures w/power point slides, have to take your own notes from what she says. four exams and a final. practice quizzes are helpful. Study guides and helpful activities given. Willing to help pretty straight forward. Alot of material.

The best microbiology teacher you can choose. No book required. Lectures are given through youtube videos. In class time is used for review and homework assignments. 4 exams and a final. 4 homework assignments, 4 practice quizzes, and 1 case study. Exam questions are from the videos, quizzes & hw. Spread out your studying and you will do good.

Camille is one of the best professors I've ever had. This is a really hard topic to grasp and she makes it very easy to understand. I was expecting it to be harder because it is an online class. The material is tough so you do have to study a lot. I enjoyed this class very much.

So this is actually my second time taking Bio 189 and I wish I would've taken Dr. N first. She is super sweet and very detailed. Lectures are on line and assignments are done in class. There are plenty of study guides, and they help out with exams. Just be sure to do your part and you'll pass no problem.

This professor is honestly amazing. Stop reading reviews and choose her if she fits for your schedule, she will guide you to an A as long as you study. She gives you everything you need and is very thoughtful when it comes to how she can help her students. Online lectures are used and it helps to watch them multiple times. She reviews in class.

Dr. N. Is seriously the bees knees. Not only is she a good professor but she is insanely caring and wants you to succeed. Shes easy to understand and is straight forward. I honestly cant think of anything negative to say about her.

She's always ready to help and gives plenty of time to get work done. The homework is fun and a guaranteed A and the labs are as well, as long as you read carefully and take your time. My biggest gripe would be the exams. Yes, it's online so it's easier but 30 minutes for 30+ questions is NOT long enough. Some questions are multiple parts too.

I LOVE HER. Her teaching style is different, but it helped me SO MUCH. She posts her lectures on YouTube so you can take your notes before coming into class. In class she goes over any questions you have. 4 unit exams and a final, YOU NEED TO STUDY HER LECTURES. Multiple choice& written(she loves detail). The most caring, knowledgeable professor!

Dr. N. is the kind of professor that every student would love to have. Biology courses are very demanding, but having a professor like her makes the whole difference in the life of students who really want to learn and succeed. In her class, hard work and perseverance are rewarded! I highly recommend taking any of the courses she teaches.

Had online lectures to take notes from prior to coming to class. In-class time was mainly used for assignments. Exams came directly from online lectures. Also, this class was taken on a Sunday, which was nice since it was not crowded. I was nervous starting this class, but Dr. N made everything easier than I had anticipated. Please take her!

Camille is so nice! She always checks up on her students to see how they are doing. She always responds to emails ASAP and she actually provided my class with lots of extra credit opportunities. She makes it clear that just because its an online class, you still have to study really hard for your grade. She also uses lockdown browser!

Dr. N was amazing! I took her online course with pre recorded youtube lectures. Her exams were on lockdown for a total of 5 exams and 8 news summaries. She was extremely helpful and caring. Gave extra credit for additional points. Exam review was very helpful!

If all profs were like Camille the world would be a better place. She really cares for her students & is very helpful. She breaks down the material that makes biology easy. However, its ALOT of material so do not take if you dont have time to dedicate to studying. Youre grade easily reflects by how much work you put in.

Prof N. was RAD! Tests were straightforward. All of her lectures are on youtube- pro-tip- this means you can watch at 1.75x speed and take notes faster! No book needed- she gives powerpoints you can take notes on on an iPad or print out. Didn't love the writing to review articles but I learned tons from those. Overall best micro teacher ever!

Dr. N is caring and an amazing professor! She is very attentive and answers any questions that I need help on. Her study guides are very straight forward and she gives you a heads up on what might be on test.

Very straight forward class, if you're book smart you'll pass this class without any additional supplementary learning like the MyLab and mastering and SI tutor. 4 quizzes and 5 exams. Really wished I could've just bought the book but CSN's publication contract forced me to buy the code with it.

It was a good class. She had pre recorded videos for each unit. 4 units with three lessons each, a lab and test due at the end of each unit. We were given 4 weeks to do each unit. there was final exam at the end but thats it. Not that hard as long as you study and do the work on time.

I loved her class & found it to be interesting, my class was online so I had to use her lectures & notes she provided to do the homework. Her criteria and assignments are straightforward just study & you should pass the class. Just don't procrastinate on the labs & tests because it does take time to finish and you'll def regret doing it last minute

I took Camille for my BIOL251 class and I love my class! 2 quizzes with 2 attempts (highest grade taken) each unit and a 5 exams (with the final included). It is very important to watch her lectures, especially since the class itself is hard. You really have to earn the grade you want. She replies to emails quickly and is very well respected!

Dr. Naaktgeboren's microbiology class was excellent, flexible, and very interesting. I feel like everyone should take a class like this (the lecture at least). 4 tests, 8 quizzes (2 attempts), & a final. I highly recommend this class.

Professor N. was a great instructor and gave a clear grading criteria. The online class was set into 4 units where you would read 3 chapters, have a unit test, and a lab or two to complete on a monthly basis along with a final exam. Chapter material was went over in well put together lecture videos and as long as you take notes its an easy class.

I just finished my summer 251 class. I can't believe I almost chose someone else as my micro prof! Dr. N was amazing! I was nervous to take micro as a summer class but she made it so manageable. She explained things in a way I could understand & she was organized. I honestly enjoyed everything I learned. She made micro my favorite pre-req! :)

This was my second time taking bio 251, this was a 200 level class unlike other microbio classes that make the lectures too difficult to understand. Seriously her exam questions that are straight forward and don't try to confuse you.

Dr. N was awesome, you have 5 tests and 4 quizzes. I took her for summer and I had more than enough time to manage everything in 8 weeks. Plus her lectures are so interesting and youll end up loving micro. I will say she does have written on her tests, but its not anything she hasnt gone over.

Professor Naaktgeboren was the clearest professor I've had yet. She is the only professor I've ever been able to score 98% on exams with because her explanations are so easy to understand. Her exams include short answers but she gives you pointers/examples and explains what she would expect in the exam. She also gives study guides for each exam!

Dr. N is great. She sets the expectations. provides you the material in a manner that is easier to understand and always makes herself available if you need further clarification on the tough concepts.

Best biology professor. Her lectures are clear and informative. She has interactive review material which really will help you pass the exams and she answered all of my questions regarding lectures.

I just finished taking BIO 189 with her and it was a breeze! EVERYTHING that is on her power point will be on her exam. She is very through and explains what you need to know. She also provided study guides, review sheets, practice activities that really help you get the material down. There is 1 quiz and 1 exam per unit and a final. Just REVIEW!

Lectures are all on YT and you get about a month to complete each unit. 4 units with 2 quizzes and an exam for each and a final. Everything is done on respondus and the quizzes are 2 tries w/notes. Extra credit built into the course, but you really have to study to get an A. She gives study guides and she hints at potential written responses.

2 quizzes per unit, open book (easy 200pts). 1 exam per unit w/4 units, no notes, and 1 final allowed 1 flash card. Built in extra credit. Lectures on YT, so you can listen as fast and often as you want. Lect are easy enough to understand, but some are long. Maybe she will begin to break them apart like she did towards the end.

I absolutely loved this course. MicroBio is usually supposed to be an overwhelming course but Dr. N did not make it feel that way. I found all of her exams to be straightforward!! There is also extra credit already built into the course! I loved how this class was set up and a lot of graded stuff were practically easy points!

I wish she taught BIOL 223 and 224 ;-; Hands down the best Biol teacher. OFC biology is hard so I gave the difficulty rating a 3 but she made it so much more easier to learn and understand! She provides recorded lectures, powerpoints, jeopardy games, and worksheets (not graded; also gives the answers to said worksheets)!!! Very sweet and nice

I wish she would teach BIOL223 and 224 as well. Her lectures are all on YouTube and you just follow along. All of her quizzes and tests are word for word from her lectures. She is so caring and nice and genuine. She allows you to use notes for your quizzes but not exams. She truly cares about her students. I love her and you will too.

Her class is very organized. I took her for Biol 251 lecture (online). The textbook is one she created and every chapter has it's own YouTube video of her lectures and lecture slides. You can work at your own pace and everything on her tests, quizzes, and exams are either in the reading material or YouTube video. I would definitely recommend her!

Dr. N was the best online professor I have ever had! Her pre-recorded online lectures are amazing, full of information. Had 4 quizzes 2 tries for each, 4 exams and final was optional. Read your book and study her lectures. Most of the questions come from her lecture videos.

Taking this course for the summer and I hate it so far, you're expected to study hard and memorize everything and if you can't memorize stuff don't expect to pass. Your grade is based on 4 quizzes and 4 exams if you are a bad test taker this is another problem. We should at least have some homework and or a term research paper or something!

I took this class over the summer online. Her powerpoints and youtube lectures really make things easy to understand. She doesn't try to trick you on exams. She also gives you reviews for each exam which are specific to what questions she asks!

I took Dr. Naaktgeboren's microbiology class summer 2022. She is very thorough in her lectures and equips you with everything you need to help pass her class. I would recommend using the crossword puzzles, jeopardy, and practice questions to help you study. Her lectures were recorded on YT which made it very easy to go back and study.

10 homeworks, 4 exams, a final and a lab and if you do not live, eat and breathe biology this semester, you won't stand a chance. Dr. N is a hundred times easier than other professors but will still make you work for it.

Her exams always comes from her textbooks, instead of trying to trick you. She might be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than others, you should still study. Biology is a lot. Memorize, study, vise versa.

Dr N only grades by a few things. There's 4 quizzes and 5 exams including the final and she gives you study guides for each one. She lets you use your notes on quizzes. It's good to do the crosswords and go through jeopardy as some of the questions on the tests come from the review material. You still have to make sure to study a lot.

Professor Naaktgeboren really cares. She has great videos for her online class. If the material is on a slide, it is fair game. If you need more information, always study the book. Otherwise her 189 class is an easy A. Anything you have questions on feel free to email her because she responds quickly.

Prof N was clear and graded fairly. Her homeworks were easy extra points just take the time to complete them.

Dr. N is amazing, her lecture videos are very detailed and straight to the point. There are 4 exams plus the final. She gives you exam reviews for each exam, 4 quizzes and you get 2 tries on each. Absolutely recommend her!

Professor Naaktgeboren is the best BIO251 professor at CSN. She has her own textbook which is amazing compared to the regular 251 textbook. She condenses the material needed into an easier to read textbook! Her lectures are all on Youtube and she gives you a lot of material to help you study. Her handwriting is hard to read sometimes though.

If you are looking a clear and relatively easy presentation you should definitely take professor N. This was online class i took it with biol223 and all you need for BIOL251is a focused couple of hours to understand the topic and take exams. I found biol 251 very interesting thanks to her. If possible take it right after you take biol 189 it helps.

Highly recommend taking a class with Dr. N. I appreciated that she was available during her posted online office hours because I always had questions about the labs we had to do. Even though it's an online course, Dr. N was easy to get ahold of and she was so helpful in explaining concepts I had a hard time with.

she's absolutely wonderful. uses a simplified textbook: with practice tests and supplemental review material for all chapters. the practice qs look exactly like her exams. she prepares u so well and actually wants u to succeed. the exams are literally so straightforward- i don't think it can get any easier tbh. email her; she loves helping out.

I took 224 along with 251 and I'm so glad I took her class. Her class is based on your own pace but tests will still be due on certain dates. She makes her own textbook! She has really good study guides and lecture videos with power points you can study from. She also has extra quizzes and article quizzes that are easy points to earn!

I loved having her. It was so easy not going to lie. 4 units, each w 1 exam and 2 current event quizzes. 21 chapters (they're short!) of her own txtbook, each with a quiz =21. Gives study guides for exams, she goes off the slides mostly, but sometimes the guides are identical. Join a discord, loved meeting the other ppl that joined:)

Dr. N is hands down the BEST professor at CSN! she provides everything you need to succeed in her class. From study guides, lecture videos, reading quizzes, word searches, cross word puzzles, and jeopardy links she gives you everything you need. She responds emails fairly quickly and is always willingly to help you in whatever you need.

Love her class and content! She is amazing at explaining complex concepts. Exams aren't easy, but she provides a lot of study material. You still gotta study to excel. I know a lot of people who don't do well on the 1st exam b/c they read reviews saying it's easy. It is not. But if you study hard and use all the materials, you'll do really well.

I like her as a professor she's caring. I wish that it was more hands-on. But if you study hard and use tutoring, you should be good at making it decent on the exams. Grading is based on 4 quizzes & 5 exams. I recommend reading the textbook & using resources like tutoring & SI. She provided study material.

Dr. N was a great professor, she cared a lot and was always accessible outside of class. I had a great time in her online class and it made 251 very simple compared to some other professors. I would highly recommend taking her if you can get into the online course.

If you can get Dr. N for micro then DO IT. She's amazing. She uses her own book for the class and she wrote it in a way that really breaks down the subject material and keeps you interested. I don't think I would have survived this semester with a different professor. I'm so thankful I got her for this class! I can't say enough good things.

Dr. N does her best to make a complicated subject easier to comprehend. She uses the text she wrote which is online and inexpensive as far as text books go. Her exams aren't easy but she provides great study guides and a few practice questions. I would take a class from her again in a heartbeat.

She is the best professor I have ever encountered; she clearly explains things. To get an A, you have to print the transcripts from YouTube because she test you on the lecture slides and what she says. READ READ, play her videos multiple times, and go over her supplementary notes. Watch short crash videos to learn the concepts and see the visuals.

Dr. N is a fantastic teacher who wants her students to succeed and understand what they are learning. She provides all of the tools needed to be successful in her class. If you need help, she is happy to be of service to you. She is one of the best instructors I encountered at CSN! Loved her class!

Professor N. is a great teacher. Be sure to watch all lectures, read the textbook, and USE THE SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS!!! I literally made flash cards from her crossword puzzles that she made. You have to really study with biology, but do that, and you'll do fine. She also responds in a timely manner if you email her with questions.

I had to drop this course for personal reasons, but she was very nice and helpful while I was struggling. She genuinely wants her students to succeed and gives them all the tools to pass. If you do what she says, including studying early, watching her lectures, and reading the textbook, then the course will not be difficult.

Professor N is a gem! Her online class is a breeze with engaging lectures, a custom textbook, and tons of study aids. Paired with unstuck study, acing this course was a cinch.

As most of the other reviews said, this class is test-heavy. Said tests are proctored, and the exams ask you to rely on memorization. I wouldn't recommend this class if you're like me and don't do well with tests, but she was still a wonderful professor.

Micro is a hard class but Professor N makes it so easy! Test aren't too bad, very simple and straightforward! If your not good with managing online classes though then I recommend someone else; 5 exams and easy chapter quizzes, I would take her again in a heartbeat

She's online and has her own textbook. I think it's worth it since she breaks harder concepts down super well! She's in the background and it's more of a self study so you have to create time for it. But her class is super easy! She has trivias, videos, puzzles to help you study. TAKE HER along with Professor Rosie Garcia. The perfect combo.

This course is based on 4 exams, 4 quizzes, and 1 final. The quizzes give you a good idea of what the corresponding exam will look like (you get 2 attempts) Everything on the exams come straight from her video lectures. I didn't purchase the textbook and haven't needed it once. Really good review activities for each exam with test-like questions

She has her own modified version of a micro book. Between watching her videos and studying her slides, and doing the reading quizzes you will definitely get a good grade. Exams are straight forward, no tricks and you have a month between each to take the next one.

I learned a lot from her! Her lectures are easy to follow along and quizzes/exams go hand in hand with lectures. you have 1 month to prepare for exams/quizzes

very comprehensible material. extra credit quiz for the syllabus. I'm not good at time management but if I was I would have 100 in this class easy. the lab is actually harder, I haven't had to email her once for course content that's how straight forward n understandable this class is. yes u have to study but with effort you will for sure do well

Graded w/ 5 tests and 4 quizzes. Lectures easy to understand. Never read the book. Watch the videos and do all suggested review to get an A. You need to email her to get feedback on tests since she doesn't post the answers. Take her, my lab partner had so much homework in another prof's class and I didn't. Pace yourself and don't study last minute!

Dr. N is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. She is always responsive and gives great feedback. Her lectures are extremely thorough and VERY well articulated. This was one of my first college courses, and although it was intimidating, her explanations made the content very easy to retain. Highly recommend! Would take again and again.
