She needs to lecture.

She does not explain anything if you ask her and she says you can read more about it in your book or you can look up a video on YouTube.

She is the best professor! Her class is great she explains everything to you and makes it interesting. Her lectures aren't boring at all and is readily available to meet with you for further assistance.she also gives power-points &pop quizzes which are like a study guide for the exams,I would DEFINITELY recommend her and take her for another class!

Dr.Snow is a great professor, she goes through everything to make sure that you understand and she quizzes you based on what you learn in lecture, her quizzes and test are straight forward, either you know the information or you don't. Dr. Snow is very organized and is timely on grading. She always gave us assignments at a reasonable time before the due date. She requires you to take control of your own grade with less lectures and more outside reading. She will help you. But you're in the drivers seat. Lazy people do not take! I liked her. Dr. Snow is a good professor. As Long as you read, pay attention in lecture, and do all the work you will be fine. The test are not hard, she gives extra credit, and has 1 project which is really interesting.

This course is very confusing and there is limited help available. Lectures are unclear and she seems distractedunprepared. Her return time for gradespractical's can be 1-3 weeks and she will not allow you to keep the paperwork. HW is busy work. Tests are tough and very detailed. Taking her course was a poor choice,retaking with another professor

She missed the first day of class If that says anything. Only way to contract her is by phone or text. She was upset most of the students fail the first so she took away review sheets. During lecture read slide from slide and was rude it asked a question. Also got into many arguments with students in class most of the class drop by the end.

This is a hard class, she is one of the best professors... she's always willing to help you if you ask questions, if you don't participate or don't go to class don't expect to pass. Tests are tough, but they are really easy if you study, even tho you don't know what to study because sometimes you do not have a guide line. SHE IS GREAT TAKE HER!

Only take her class if you do not have a full course load, seeing as how you will have to teach yourself a lot of the material and she does not like to give straight answers to questions. She gives study guides then takes them away, gives long lectures and uses terminology that the average student doesn't know. Also she tends to arrive late

Dr. Snow is such a brilliant professor! She is very detailed and knows her material. She has really high expectations for her students. The exams are very HARD and you must STUDY and READ to pass her class. She only gives a review for the first 2 exams and the rest you must figure out on your own. she is one of the best professors that i have personally ever had although her test make you think. She gives these pop quizzes that are basically a review for the main exam. She also gives extra credit. Anatomy is gonna be difficult no matter, but its a little easier with a professor like Dr. Snow.

This class is tough we all know this, so be prepared to put in the work if you want to succeed. Dr. Snow is tough but fair. She really wants everyone to do well and she will prepare you mentally for what you will face in what major in Healthcare that you are pursuing. She really cares about the students that take the class seriously and stresses the importance of why you need to take this class seriously. If you're not ready to give it your all don't take this course no matter the professor. If you are serious I highly recommend her.

Come to class prepared. She expects you to read your textbook before class. Take notes in lecture on everything she says. She will ask the class questions about what you learned in lecture and from the reading. Prove that you were paying attention. Just study and work hard. I enjoyed the class.

She said her class was the 1 that weeded out all the ppl that werent ready to be in the nursing program. Well I'm not trying to be a nurse. The tests were overwhelming at times. She said we needed to sacrifice sleep to do well, I have a job that actually needs me to be able to function so yeah no not gonna do that. dropped it b/c it was ridiculous

Let's just get this straight, Anatomy and Physiology is HARD and you must study in order to succeed. Dr. Snow is really great, her class is not easy but what A&P class is? I work full time and take her class and was able to make a great grade but you need to study. I loved Dr. Snow and I thank her for getting me prepared for nursing school!

Dr. Snow has high expectations. You should want High expectations if you're taking this class. Go to class, Read,Google it if you don't know it, ask questions. Take an interest in the material and you will learn it. I can't speak for people with kids but working full time is not an excuse for not doing well in this class. Raise your standards.

Anyone taking Dr. Snow's class is in a very privelaged position. She is well educated, and she presents her lectures in a very detailed and exciting format. If you fail her class, blame yourself and not the instructor. She is extremely generous in that she gives plenty of extra credit, which is unheard of in a advance class such as this.

I took this class for the Summer I session and there was a LOT of information too cover in six weeks. The material might seem daunting, but you can still do well. Study the notes and read the book. She is good at explaining concepts and she ties the concepts to the healthcare field. She does have pop quizzes and she offers a lot of extra credit.

the worst teacher i have ever had, i took it because i saw some good reviews here but its totally contradictory no caring for students and hard tests and no study guide for exam, so many classes were skipped don't take her

I took Dr. Snow's class in Spring 2016. She is an amazing instructor. Yes, like all classes you must read to understand the lectures. Must participate and come to class. She notices those who work hard. Life doesn't hand you things and neither will she. If you work ward she will assist where she cans. She is the best compared to the others.

i don't recommend this professor, exams and quizzes are hard you gonna see many things in exams that weren't covered in the lecture and no labs she teaches one hour and half instead of 3hours

I will never take this professor again. She may be knowledgeable in her field but she does not know how to teach a class. Her teaching style is very fast and she acts like the class is ignorant because we didn't understand. Was absent or cut classes and labs a lot. Felt like I wasted money picker her to teach me.

This is the hardest class I have ever taken. I read into rmp before signing up for classes but unfortunately I signed up late and didn't have a choice. A&P is already hard and I was afraid of her. She isn't as bad as let up to be. Just do your work and participate. Her tests are hard (especially lab) but she is not a hard grader.

She's the worst! Stay away she's very knowledgeable in her field but horrible at teaching it. She does give bonus points which makes up for needing precise answers on all exams and quizzes. If you plan to take another class on top of taking her just don't. If you care to ask a question she will treat you as every question is stupid beware!!!!!

I learned a lot of beneficial information from taking this class. I believe it has made me more prepared to apply for the nursing program. A lot of "lazy" students are quick to speak negatively in regards to Dr. Snow, but they are the 1st in line to take her class and want to take her class for A & P II. I think that speaks volumes!

Seriously stay away from this professor. She claims that she wants to see us succeed but is all a lie. She has serious nasty attitude that she needs to work on and seems like she doesn't want to be in class to teach at all. There is also a presentation and she asks the most insane questions and will belittle you if you ask questions during lecture.

Great teacher. She knows what she's doing. Clear expectations and grading criteria. Very knowledgeable of her topics. Very prepared with lectures, she can do better in lab though. I took this class with zero knowledge about A&P. I read her ratemyproffessor reviews before I enrolled the class. Don't believe the hype! Dr. Snow is a phenomenal teacher. I started off really liking Prof. Snow. Now as the class went on I realized that she is always in a big hurry and I dont like that. She rushed through everything that we had to learn and that is no way to teach a hard class like A&P. We hardly ever got to do labs because she rushed. I would not take her much better teacher out there.

She wants everyone to know that she is a chiropractor and very busy. Thats the first thing she will say. She offers extra credit through 4 review question pop quiz every day of class, but if you get all the way through the class and get all of them right and miss one at the end it wont count. There are 15 chapters that are covered in the class with 15 weeks in each semester. It is important to keep up, read the material, and complete your work. The class is challenging because of the course, not the professor. Study hard and you will do well.

Keep up with your reading. This is not the class or teacher to take if your not going to work for your grade. Dr. Snow takes her job seriously and she will not just pass you as a student "just because". You have to work for it. I appreciate having her as an instructor. I learned a lot and I would definitely take her class again for A & P 2.

This class was the biggest challenge that I've taken as a student. I rightfully earned a 75 because of my performance level. My grade is not a reflection of Dr. Snow. She offered extra credit and she was very generous in her grading. I plan on retaking this class and enrolling in her class particularly, because she is the best teacher.

I was also enrolled in this class Fall 2016. How can a "teacher" skip class. That is laughable. She has every right to cancel class if need be. Dr. Snow was present most of the semester. In fact she lectured to us when she lost her voice and wasn't feeling well to make sure we were prepared for our exams. That is how dedicated she is.

I agree with the last post. She is an excellent teacher. Her lectures are interesting and she keeps students engaged by asking them questions about the material. She also has a good sense of humor and often says funny things during her lectures. She pays attention who is trying in her class. Do your best and she will take notice.

She is a nice professor. I took her in theFall2016. She gave us alot of extra credit. Its important for you to read before class&complete your work. She also gave us 2 exam reviews. Its more than enough. Dont expect prof give you free grade if you dont want to work hard. You need to work for your grades. Keep in mind STUDY SLIDES, YOU WILL DO WELL.

I also took her class in Fall 2016. I still cant believe anyone could write anything bad about Dr Snow's class. She is knowledgeable. Her energy is exactly what you need for an A&P class. I took Dr. Snow in the Fall 2016 semester. She was definitely my favorite class to go to. Very nice but does not appreciate when students don't take her class seriously. She is a very fun professor, gives lots of extra credit opportunities to go towards each exam. Study just like you should for any class.. I want to take her for A&P2!!

She gives out a review for 2 of 4 exams. She is very clear about her expectations, in a condescending way. Only go to lab a few times, because she hates to stay late. Had to go to tutoring in order to find a set of bones and muscles to study because you didn't get lab time. She also does like questions and hard to approach because of her attitude.

Dr. Snow was a great professor however, her attitude was HORRIBLE. You can tell when she does not like a student. The hardest thing about her class was the tests free response. She gives extra credit which bump me up to an A. I will recommend her you just have to study and be patient with her attitude.

I took Dr. Snow for AP1 at sanjac. south campus and she is the bomb!!! take your own notes along with the notes she gives you THE POWER POINTS and study. she gives very helpful pop quizzes and trust you will need these extra points.

I took Dr. Snow at SJC-South. She is very knowledgeable in the material that she is teaching! Be sure to record lectures, read the chapters in the book, and review the PowerPoints before class. She does notice who asks questions and participates during lecture, notice when she is repetitive. Quizzes and projects for her class are a big help.

Dr. Snow is great. If you work full time & try to take this class, pulling out a C is difficult. Must read& retain every chapter. Quizzes are all the class before the test & all 20 questions will be on the test. Whatever she goes over the most is hardly on the test to make sure you actually read the chapter. Lots of short answer & opportunity bonus

Dr. Snow is a good teacher, she isn't boring. However, she will teach you the material and as soon as she's done teaching it, the very next class day would be our test. Many students felt that she didn't give us enough time to study, which is why many of us did poorly on our tests. She does offer extra credit and you have to work VERY hard for an A

She gives out chapter packets so we can follow along with her slides. Also pop quizzes right after she's done teaching new material. Those pop quizzes are a preview of what that exam will have for that section. For an exam day she will only have you take your exam and you will be dismissed. This was the hardest class I took but loved it!

Dr. Snow is by far one of the best college professors I have taken within my college career. She is very fair and wants all of her students to succeed. She is very dedicated and loves teaching. She provides packets for all of her lectures. Attendance is mandatory if you want to do well on her quizzes and exams.

I took her class at San Jacinto College for AP 1, we have 5 exams 3 lab test. She provides only two reviews an outline with specific topics to study and prepare you for the test. We have one presentation project at the end of the semester. she goes over pwp slides in class she provides only ch 1-3 copies of the pwp slides.

Dr. Snow was an awesome teacher this semester, I have taken this class two times before and did not pass and the third time was a charm by taking Dr. Snow. She knows her stuff and does not read directly off of a power point giving great lectures. She also wants to see that you are trying or at least making some effort to want to know the material.

Lectures fast, doesnt care if you understand, zero communication from her outside of class. Moved test dates several times & wouldnt tell us until we showed up to class. No lab time because she just wants to go home. Unwilling to help students succeed, makes things harder. A LOT of short answer questions on tests. Dont take her if you need an A.

Disorganized and confused, that wraps up the semester. She constantly rushes, we could hardly discuss questions, and she was unreachable out of the classroom. During reviews on exam she talks so fast, it makes the lecture extremely hard to understand. To top it off, we are currently experiencing bad weather and she rushed us to do the test.

don't take, tough grader, the study guide is not good material and exam is essay questions. No lab time, lab test is fill in the blank, there is homework, and she doesn't care. Always in a hurry, definitely wouldn't take again, have to retake this class and my GPA is nearly a 4.0 until I took her, had to withdraw. no makeup or late assignments

AVOID THIS CLASS. Disrespectful attitude, condescending, and unnecessarily rude. Poor lecturer, bad at responding emails, makes horrible power points that are nearly impossible to understand (a bunch of grammar mistakes/typos), then asks random ?'s in exams. Doesn't care about tstudent's success. High drop-out rate (went from 30+ to 11 students).

Definitely a hard grader. She is not a good teacher. She doesnt care about students. She is always in a rush to leave, even though she is often late to class. Test are essay questions. No lab time. Avoid at all cost!!! Horrible, I wish I wouldnt have taken her. Biology is hard, especially if you take her. She is unorganized. Gives lots of homework. Sneaks some homework questions on test. Took her because of the good reviews, man are those misleading. Essay answers for questions, dont put the answer the way she likes and you get it wrong.

Do not take! I have 5 years of prior college experience getting my bachelors and she was by far the worst professor I have ever had. All lab exams are fill in the blank, but she does not even give you enough time to write down all the answers she is asking for. She does not care about her students at all and that was very obvious.

Where to begin. She is awesome . Exams are super easy! Definitely recommend taking her. All exams are multiple choice. Labs exams are full in the blanks as every bio class is fill in the blank. She makes sure we know everything before we take exams. She is super sweet. Love this class.

Great easy class. I took her class in person and I found it to be very easy. She gives out pop quizzes before tests and also reviews that basically have the answers to all of the tests. Would def recommend her class.

I took this course online. Professor Snow made no effort to reach out to the class. No welcome letter, no announcements, no online lectures or notes. You basically had to teach yourself. Luckily, a lot of the tests were not proctored. She had inconsistencies in her syllabus/grading which was constantly changing. Do not recommend.

She cancels class often making you rush through the rest of the semester. She rushes through lectures to go home. Rarely responds to emails and when you ask her a question during class she comes off as condescending. Her final did not reflect the material taught during the semester causing ALOT of us to fail making my A into a B average. Avoid her!

Bio isn't an easy subject in the first place, but she does not help at all. we on multiple occasions went over several chapter then after all that information we took three tests over previous chapters. I would STRONGLY advise to just not take her even if it's your last choice, even if this is the only class, you're taking just go somewhere else!
