Ms. Williams is an excellent instructor. She will work with a student it they need the help.

Prof Williams was so freaking cool! She was tough, but gave us phone numbers and took calls at all times, I even called her at 6 in the morning. We wrote a lot and had a bunch of tough discussions. But she was always fair, inspiring, encouraging, and motivating. I took two classes with her and wish that she taught everything!

I took Ms. Williams in the Spring of 2011.She is very soft spoken. Very fair. Gives you time to make up work. Loves feedback and for the class to participate. Her grading is very fair. She was great I wish I had taken her for 1301!!!. As long as you do your assignments and she gives plenty of opportunity for you to fix mistakes. AWESOME!!LOVED HER!

There are a lot of essays to write in this course, but it's just a part of English. Personally, I don't like writing papers because I'm more of a math and science person rather than English. Overall, Ms. Williams is a good English professor.

First day in Prof. Williams's class was scary; she set the tone and defined expectations. After that she really opened up and expressed a genuine caring attitude toward the class. She loves ENGL, and it shows. She stays after to help, and offers out her cell number if you have questions after class. Nervous at first but I would recommend her class.

Professor Williams made English 1302 very interesting. It was challenging to familiarize myself with some concepts form 1301 and learning how to poperly analyze some really great material in this course. It was pleasing to know that Professor Williams taught this course on our level and our own pace.

Professor Camisha Williams is very professional. She gives you proper instructions to follow on writing, and proper explanation on every reading material. She discusses every aspect of material, which makes things a lot easier. She is a great professor.

Professor Williams is one of the most enthusiastic people there is. She teaches English in a manner that can make it fun and enjoyable so that we can learn. We do have lots of readings to read but its English, we have to read. She is a nice person, and if you talk to her about your issues in english she will be sure to help you.

Professor Willians-Ferguson is by far the most memoiable professor. She actually cares for her students and wants them to learn the material. I had such an amazing experience in this course & came out learning more than i ever imagined I would. SHE IS WONDERFUL.

Great person, even better teacher, she believes that everyone deserves the chance to learn correct english. Loved the way everything was cleared, how flexible and easy to contact. She gives extra credit and if you hate english as much as i did she will make you start liking it. There is no better english teacher out there, in my opinion.

Ms. Williams is a great professor. I enjoyed the interesting articles and openness for online class discussions.She provides her students with countless resources for her literary analysis essay. This class went by fast. The only negative remark I will make is SHE DOESN'T RESPOND TO EMAIL! Otherwise, great class.

Long as you but in effort to do your best you will pass. I completed this class in a summer II 5wk course. It was a lot of writing assignments and forum questions. My suggestion is to build a relationship with her. Meaning DO NOT email her. TEXT AND CALL HER. She will respond back fast. Try & you will pass like I did.. with a "A" !!! Good luck!

Enjoyed this class as well as Professor Williams! The literary works that were required to be read were always great which lead to great class discussion that tied into a lesson. The class does require you to do work but all the work you do in here there is no way you can't come out this class a better writer and analyzer.

Miss Williams is a good professor. Her teaching style doesn't seem bad. I liked this class and I improved my writing thanks to her. The class itself is not about writing only, but about you to be involved in a discussion. That inspires you and makes the class more interesting than it seems to be. Don't be shy to ask if you don't get something.

Professor Camisha is just lovely a very good professor. Her lectures are really interactive and she brings the class together. left her class equipped with a good argumentative knowledge and how to analyze. her lectures are discussions, just participate, read assigned stories, turn in homework and follow instructions. and you'd soar with an easy A.

Great teacher! Very helpful in developing your writing style, usually not on time though (at least to my class). She also DOES NOT grade on time, so don't expect to have all your grades in before the semester is over. However, she is very helpful and will typically go the extra mile for her students.

The best teacher I Have had at HCC so far. She really wants to see everyone pass. Oh. And she's great with names lol.

So far so good with Professor Williams. The class is enjoyable and she is very willing to take the time and help us, even responding to text messages. I wish our assignments weren't so vague, however, and we had more of a clear grading rubric. seems like as long as I go to class, do my work, and put forth a decent effort I will get a good grade.

Class flies by just listening to her analyzing and doing in-class assignments. Ample time is given to do assignments, always answers questions and addresses concerns. Next semester I will be looking for her when it's time to register.

Great Professor! I am taking her class now and I love her teaching techniques. I like how she is willing to do whatever she has to do to make sure everyone in her class understands. You can tell she really loves what she do. The only thing i dis like about her class is the 4 literary analysis she wants us to write and tough she grades them.

I guess following instructions is key to passing. The class has a lot of work though. I'm taking it right now. She is sweet and cares about her students.

I took Ms Williams class for fall 2014 semester. She is a good teacher and a good person overall, just don't be afraid of asking her something you may misunderstand (that was my mistake). She inspires you to learn, read and write. Her class is interesting because you can participate in discussions about some interesting topics.

Professor Williams-Ferguson was really great! She gave us a bunch of resources, took my calls on weekends, and returned my text messages. Sometimes it took her a day, but she always got back to me. I know that a lot of us fell behind but she always let me turn in stuff I didnt. You work hard, but she's awesome! I'd take her again in a heartbeat!

Im currently taking Ms. Williams for Creative Writing although many of the ratings are for English 1301 & 1302. I dont know why people are complaining i guess they must be lazy because this teacher is amazing. She is soft spoken and very intelligent. We write alot but its an english class wut u expect. She saved my butt! If you didn't pass, it's because you tried to get over on her. I agree that she dont play around but she will help you even if it means meeting you somewhere to break it down. Take her if you want to learn and don't mind working. Don't take her if you're trying to skate through.

Prof Williams will work with anybody. If you tell her what you need, she'll give it you you. She takes calls and texts. She doesn't like email, she'll tell you that upfront! Takes longer to grade papers than other professors, but her feedback is thorough. Take her, unless I agree, you're lazy and want her to do all your work. She won't!

Ok, helpfulness, yes. If u reach out she's going to get with u. Clarity, crystal if u read. I saw some people posting stuff & I was like REALLY DID U READ THE DIRECTIONS. It ain't hard. Easiness, she gives u everything you need. If u just don't do nothing then that's on u. If u work, reach out, & follow the directions u okay.

Its a really laid back class. If you turn in the papers on time and finish the rest of your work then it's really hard to not get a passing grade. She's also really good to respond to emails and clarify things with you. Yeah her papers are long and she assigns a lot of reading but overall it isn't a difficult class... Also there is extra credit !

I took her this summer. It wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. I read other posts so when I had a question I called or text her. She gave good feedback. Explained things really good to the point where you could see what you did wrong. I didn't get the disorganized part but she was very detailed. I'd take her again. She's a really helpful professor.

Never take a English class in five weeks if you aren't already good at English. Prof. Williams was helpful and responded to my calls and text messages. She gives too much information at one time. You have to really read the stuff she gives AND the assignments. But she is there there for her students. She gives videos and good readings.

Some things I agree with. She took three days to email me back. But when I called her I got right through and when I texted her she texted right back. But she gave really good feedback and I learned more in her class than I did in other classes. She was nice and graded papers fast, but not the forum discussions. I'd take her again if I wasn't done.

I took her online. She isn't the teacher who gives free A's on work without reading them and gives no feedback. But she was very understanding and responded almost immediately when I texted her, along with helping my high C into a B. Im glad I took her. The work was not easy but wasn't hard either.

I love Professor Williams-Ferguson. She really gets into the stuff she teaches and she makes it fun. I have her for an hour and a half but the time flies by. We do really good discussions and the work makes sense. It's not a lot of busy work its a lot of good work. I'd definitely recommend her to anybody, especially anybody who hates english!

She is an amazing person, very helpful and inspirational. However, she is a tough grader; for the life of me I could not get an A in any of the papers, and I consider myself decent in English. She does take attendance, and if you miss a class you will be lost. Her lectures take up the whole class time. There's a lot of writing involved!

Professor Williams is a great teacher. She engages the whole class, and makes sure she is reaching each student. She does give a lot of reading which if fine, but she will quiz and question you on the readings so be prepared. I would definitely take her again in the future.

Professor Williams-Ferguson gives great reading assignments. They are long reading assignments. She makes herself available by phone & I've never had a professor give a good phone number for contact. Professor Williams Genuinely cares about her students and wants you to excel. The coursework is very interesting and really makes you explore deeper levels of thinking, communicating, and writing. I took her class after being out of school for over ten years and I was very blessed to have had a professor like her.

Great instructor. It does take her a while to grade but she gives VERY DETAILED feedback! I really recommend taking her class. Especially if you like to work at your own pace. She's available by phone too! BIG PLUS!!! And she wasn't hard, but she wasn't easy either!

At first I was NOT liking this prof. But once I started getting it, I LOVED it. Yes we did read a lot but it was all really good stuff none of it was boring. I was able to call her when I got confused about something and she texted right back when I texted her. I thought I was getting a C, but I got a B. She really works you to make you learn!

This was an amazing class. Though it was online, it was easy to see that Professor Broussard has a big heart. She really does want you to learn. And I did. I learned so much. About writing, about thinking, about critical theory. However, I would not take this professor again. Why? The online class lacks clarity and adequate organization. STRESSFUL!

The individuals giving bad rates are one of the following. Feel like they shouldn't have to work for their grade. Don't come or show up late to class with poor participation. She stays after to answer any questions. She specifically helped critique one of my papers before it was due. Class discussions . Works with you. GROW UP AND DO THE WORK.

Her class wasn't easy but it wasnt hard. Its one of those kinds of classes that you can't log in and just look at the assignment and call it a day. You have to really look at all the stuff and she gives a lot a bunch of stuff. Sometimes she gives too much stuff to look at but its all good resources. Overall I learned a lot. The work was just right.

Took her class and got an A. But it wasn't easy. She grades tough during the semester, but my grade showed a online. I got a B on my transcript. I got good feedback and she always responded to my messages, sometimes really late at night. When I had a question, she met with me via Skype. She's tough but fair and you learn a lot. Not an easy A.

I liked Prof B. She gave extra credit, answered questions, even crazy ones, and made it fun.

Hard but fair and you really do learn alot but not easy. You can talk to her and she meets you in her office or in Skype. That's what I liked because she was available when I had time since I work during the day her office hours didn't work for me.

Prof B is actually a good prof. Ngl, when I first got in there, it was right after Harvey so I was very unorganized. Then after two weeks, I knew she meant bizz, so I had to change my thought process. COMPLETE READINGS THEY WILL HELP YOU!!! FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!! Guarantee high scores! Doesnt normally provide As I received a 99 on final b overall

In addition to my 99, no offense to students who are average workers like myself, you can do it. It may be a lot to read/write but its only to make you a stronger reader, writer, and thinker. I believe that her method of grading will help in the future for maybe history/gov or maybe a lab report, idk. Disclaimer: feedback is pretty slow on papers.

Ms. Broussard was one of the best teachers Ive had so far. Her assignments were long but they werent hard to finish. As long as you use the readings she gives and you participate youll do fine.

She was super sweet and understanding. There was a total of 4 major assignments and you had weeks to do it so that was really nice. I would say just do the work, she isn't a hard grader but can tell if you're putting effort into what you do. I would take the class again (:
