I don't know about the other classes she teaches, but in her European history class she really places an emfasis on the role of women in early cultures, especially pre history. Sometimes she aproaches a feminist bias, But overall, she is very open minded

Took her for Summer 2002 Nevada History. She made it interesting and somewhat painless.

Dr. Kant is very easy to understand. She gets right to the point. Her book, which she wrote is not a bad read. It is very easy to understand and makes history fun!!!

Great professor! I love history but I hate history classes. She made the entire semester quite a bit of fun. Easy to pass the constitution exam and 3 take home essay tests where you pretty much copy and re-word what it says in her study guide. liberal point of view but open-minded. Encourages discussion. Wish I had to take more history!

Dr. Kant is an amazing instructor and is very entertaining.The history of witches was an amazing class.I would take it over again if I could.I learned so much from her class.Every class was enlightening and fun.

tests are fairly easy

Easy to pass the constitution exam and 3 easy multiple choice tests where pretty much right out of her study guide. The study guide is only about $7 and it is the only book you need for the class. liberal point of view but open-minded. Is willing to give extra credit work. In short, a great teacher, good humor, and she makes the subject interesting

I LOVE Dr. Kant! Her Goddess class was AWESOME, her Withcraft class was AWESOME, and SHE is awesome! I love the the holistic grading method. She's very much into creativity and open-mindedness. Very laid back. I'm going to take as many classes with her as humanly possible.

She is an awesome teacher, she teaches the class like she is telling a story. She teaches directly from the study guide that you buy, and all you need to know for the test is in it. Very easy to learn from and very nice lady. She's very sarcastic at times which makes the class that much more interesting.

I think Dr. Kant is an incredible professor. Not only does she use only ONE textbook (instead of three), she also comes prepared with stories and tidbits to make her lectures more interesting. Go to class, take some notes, review for the tests, and there is no way you won't do well in this class. Bonus: she tests right out of the textbook!

SHE IS THE BEST HISTORY PROFESSOR @CCSN!! 1 attribute in being a great history prof is to be able to tell a great story and make it interesting. This is what she does & it works, because I ended up remembering the material and applying it to my studying instead of totally memorizing everything Just stick to her notes and listen, you can get an A!

very good easy to understand

This is one of the few classes that I've taken that has literally blown my mind open. I learned so much, and had so much fun.

One of the most fun and down to earth PEOPLE I know, let alone teachers. Class is very informative, also taking a Philosophy class from her, I wish more of her classes fit into my degree schedule!

Dr. Kant really knows her stuff! She is a wonderful teacher who is down to earth and gets the student to engage in intellectual conversations. Chapter reviews are due at the beginning of every class, as well as movie reviews. The class is VERY informative and overall wonderful teacher and subject!

She's thorough but willing to reexplain eternally. She encourages discussion rather than lecturing and there's lots of movies!

I absoutely hate anything to do with history, but Dr. Kant was the most interesting history professor i have ever had. She is easy to understand, her material is outlined for you and all you have to do is study it. The absolute best history professor out there...i'm actually taking her again this summer for NV history...Awesome person!

Great professor and better person !!! I learnd a lot from her because she is traying to transfer her knowledge on to students. Learning history from her is a lot of fun because she is not boring and present facts on level of students that anybody can anderstund. Professor Kant is charismatic and witty and obviously passionate about what she teaches. She is extremely helpful and does not expect super human abilities from her students. She is kind and understanding when life happens, as long as you do what you need to do, you'll be fine.

I now live in Washington and I soo miss Dr.Kant and her wonderful classes on Goddesses and Paganism. I took both. She is a wonderful professor and I credit her with my renewed spiritual life and drive to complete school.She is the biggest thing I miss about LasVegas

Took her since I've heard good reviews about her, AND THEY WERE RIGHT! She's really knowledgeable on what she teaches, she even makes the textbook/study guide herself! Which saves you A TON of money. Loved the atmosphere of her class and she was also quite funny. I RECOMMEND HER!

As stated in my last rating right below this one for hist 101, she is a great professor and a great lady...there's alot of information to study for the tests, but she actually wrote the books you use, and she follows the book to the letter in her lectures. cant get any better than that. Wish she would have taught hist 102, but alas, she does not...

History of Witchcraft. She is an awesome professor, the books were inexpensive, even though there was 3 of them, and the class was great! I will take her again!

Vampire History. This class is very interesting and Dr. Kant really knows what she's talking about. Her class is easy and most essays are just one page in length. If you're looking for a history class or a filler class, take vampire history with Dr. Kant. It's also a very easy A. I'm looking forward to taking more classes with her!

I took the History of Witchcraft class a few semesters ago. Kant is the best teacher I have ever had at CSN! She is extremely kind and helpful and she's always in a good mood. Her classes are fun, lectures are interesting which makes the class go by quickly. Never a boring day in her classroom because she always keeps things interesting!

History of Witchcraft. Many chapter reviews from textbook, 12 film reviews and one book review; all are one page in length, and very easy. No exams to study for ( as of Spring 2013)! Easy A.

This class was Goddess Traditions. It was very easy and informative. I enjoyed attending the class every week. Some of the videos we watched were dated and boring but the information in them is very good. I highly recommend any of Dr. Kant's classes.

Great teacher. I took US history, Nevada History and History of Witchcraft with her long ago, and I loved her. Made the class very interesting with lectures and discussions. Love it! She knows her stuff.

This was my first online class, and I was terrified. But let me tell you, this was the easiest, least time consuming class I've ever taken. You have the same homework due at the same time each week: 1 discussion post on the chapter, terms, and a short video (which is so helpful), and 1 quiz with unlimited tries! Super easy, I really recommend!!

The easiest class you will ever take! If you need a history class take her! I took her online class and all you have is 1 discussion and 1 quiz each week. That's it! The quiz is 10 questions and she gives you the answers so you get any easy A. If your taking a lot of classes, take her because you don't spend any time on her class!

I love Professor Kant, Her Online history 101 was perfect. I love how she uses John Green crash courses on youtube. Easy class, I love history now. Be prepare to read and write . She is wonderful thou and she knows her stuff. Love her.

Dr. Kant ran a very smooth online class that was very informative and clear. The class consists of weekly discussions and weekly quizzes plus one quiz covering the US Constitution. It's a very easy class and Dr. Kant is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking her class if you're looking for an easy yet informative class.

Intro to Modern Western Paganism. Each week consists of a discussion post on the reading and weekly film and that's all. There are no essays and no midterm or final. It is a very easy class yet so much is learned about different branches of Paganism. I highly recommend this class or any class taught by Dr. Kant. She's awesome and knows her stuff!

Very interesting class. Great subject/material covered. Really gets you thinking and may challenge your beliefs! Instructor feedback/score within 24 hours. Weekly chapter reading plus handout, an article and a video. You write up a summary/critique "3 things I learned" from each item plus respond to classmates submissions and you're done.

This class was extremely interesting, and one of my favorites Not a difficult class, but time consuming. Each week we'd have a 40-60 page chapter, an article, a study question, and documentary. From these we would write a discussion post for the class. These posts were graded the day after they were due. There is no midterm or final.

I love Dr. Kant's classes! This was Modern Pagan Thought and each week we had readings in our book or handouts she provided as well as a documentary to watch which we did discussion posts over. No quizzes or exams. Great teacher and knows what she's talking about. I would take any class that she offers as they're all so interesting!

Probably the best teacher I have had at CSN. Her class was so interesting and she always gave great feedback on assignments. All of the weekly work was in the same format which made things easier. I learned a lot from this class and would take another with this teacher in a heartbeat.

Professor Kant was amazing! Her class goes by so fast because everything she says is so interesting! She is straight forward and easy to understand. I wish she taught more classes! She is definitely the one to take for Nevada History.

I honestly can't say enough good stuff about this professor I took her vampire class online. It was a great experience. A fair amount of reading but that should be expected. I learned a lot from this class and the teacher was always helpful and provided insight.

You do not even realize you're learning anything. You will gain more from her lectures than you would ever gain from a book. The class is easy as hell, but don't take it for granted... do the work. The woman's brilliant!

I LOVE her classes! Took two different classes of hers and they are very easy! but also, you learn a lot with all of the readings, films, and handouts. There's a discussion post you would have to do every week about what you've learned from the chapters, handouts, and film, and answering 1 study question. Easy A :)

History of Witchcraft online was an amazing class! It's put together very well and each week consists of reading a chapter in the textbook and the lecture notes she provides. Also we watch a film every week. No papers or tests. So informative and you learn so much about the history of witchcraft that you never knew before. Take any of her classes!

Kant is wonderful! She lays out a clear grading criteria and you can work ahead if you want to. The films and lectures are interesting. I have taken Kant for many classes and she never disappoints. History of Witchcraft was a great choice! You'll learn so much you never knew! TAKE HER!

The book for this class was horrible. The author's way of writing was tough. I could not decipher the writer's way of writing, so towards the end I just started rephrasing the teacher's notes. The week's work is a discussion post and quiz every week. I still got an A, but it is hard to know exactly what she wants.

This class was Women in Western Culture and Kant knew the material well. Each week consisted of watching one documentary and writing a short review on it as well as reading a chapter in the textbook and writing an analysis. She grades very fast and gives good feedback. Kant's classes are interesting and highly recommended! She's one of a kind prof!

History special topics class called Women in Western Culture I and this class was great! Each week you read a chapter, watch an interesting film on contributions women have made in different cultures, and write a discussion post. There are no tests or essays. She's a fast grader and classes are so insightful! It's a history class so expect reading.

8 week class and the workload was easy. Each week you read a chapter or two, watched a film, and did a discussion post. Easy enough. The material is interesting and she provides good feedback in a timely manner. The special topics history classes are fun and not boring like the required ones. Take her class if you need a history credit.

It was fun learning about history with this teacher!! Just prepare to read a lot, watch videos and write a LOT. Quizzes are not timed and have unlimited attempts. No test or final. Overall, if you study you can get an A easily. Also, she grades every week with nice feedbacks.

Dr. Kant is by far my favorite instructor at CSN. She has a love for history, and it shows. I have taken RST 170, RST 270, WMST 113, and now HIST 295, and I am already planning to take another one of her classes next semester. I appreciate the coursework setup; not many classes are this organized; grading is done quickly with feedback!

Goddess Traditions is an enjoyable class. The format for each week is similar: read a chapter, an article, and watch a documentary and you write a discussion post. Dr. Kant is very knowledgeable on the subject and gives great feedback. This is a fun history class that covers mythology and religion. Everything is well organized. Take her classes!

Discussion every week based on a textbook chapter, article, film, and some additional readings. Very interesting content and she's an easy grader. However, the way the content is presented makes it really hard to engage. The readings can be so boring and hard to get through. I loved the content, I just don't know if this professor was right for me.

Professor Kant is a tough grader, but she wants her students to do well. She always gives positive feedback on assignments. One video, one assignment discussion post due per week, and you have to respond to two of your classmate's posts. Get ready to read so you can do well on the assignments. I learned a lot from the class.

I took this class in an online 8 week format which consisted of weekly discussion posts. For the posts you're required to read a chapter in the text, look over notes, and view a documentary. It's a pretty easy class and Dr. Kant gives good feedback the following day. I've also taken a few of her history classes and I recommend her for any class.

Professor Kant? More like professor can and WILL. Long but delightful pdfs she provided, interesting topics and when my grade in mycsn was wrong she went out of her way to correct it and apologise for the mishap even after the semester had ended. If you want a passionate, intelligent, history professor, she's the one.
