DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She is a liar and a cheater. I have never had a teacher who cheated before. She marks you wrong even on proven correct answers. The quiz's are given at the END of the CLASS each night. Picture sitting through 2 and 1/2 hours of lecture and then being given a test at 9pm at night based on work you did 2 weeks prior.

Material is easy as pie. But she is completely horrid of a teacher. I am in total 100% agreement with the others. I read here before her class and now I see why she's got such a crappy rating. Avoid her if possible! She took a point off for something non-math related and after confronting her she attacked me! Teacher has a severe temper!

She is a very rude person. Never smile or joke in class, and she has no personality.

This was the worst teacher I have ever had. She would ask if anyone had questions and when I would ask her a question she would yell at me. I told her that I didn't understand how to do the problem and she told me there is nothing to understand you just do it. She is a witch and shouldn't be teaching. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!

I don't recommend this teacher at all. You are better off taking professor Stick for Pre-calc. The material is somewhat easy, but she does a poor job teaching it. Making it harder and confusing. In class she really isn't helpful either. She is very rude to the students and doesn't act accordingly as a teacher should. Overall the class isn't bad.

She grades OUTRAGEOUSLY harsh and is HORRIBLE at teaching. If you don?t already know the material, you still won?t. I was a Dean's List student and am now happy to get a D. I didn?t learn anything from this class. Attendance is required and penalized heavily when you don?t attend. Don?t take this class with this teacher! I hear her husband is good.

This teacher is by far the worst teacher i have ever encountered in my my career as a student. She is rude selfish and does not care about the welfare of the students. If you have a question she chirps you as if you are a two year old and are useless. She allows one absence and wont let you make up a missed quiz or pass in homework even if you are in the hospital. She is a JOKE and a half. Dont take this class if you want you pass. Shes not even a real professor she's part time aka no benefits!

TERRIBLE, AWFUL, THE WORST..25 people started in our class. Only 3 finished. Does that make her a fair teacher?

horrible person. all i will tell you is i missed one class due to medical condition, showed up at the next class with a doctors note, and she said in front of the whole class "it doesn't matter, it's not like you have any chance at passing this class, anyway." Horrible professor, extremely rude and unprofessional. she needs to be fired.

This teacher is the absolute worst teacher I have ever taken in my 17 years of learning! She is very very rude and it is impossible to ask a question, unless you dont mind getting embarrased or feel stupid. She sets her students up for failure. She tries tricking her students on quizes, because its not already hard enough right? Dont bother! 3/10

This teacher is horrible! Please do not take her at any cost! She is very very rude and miserable. I asked to visit during office hours twice and she wasnt available. Quizez are nothing like homework. Yells at students for asking questions. I honestly dont know how she still has her job. Good luck if you are in her class. Transfer out if not late.

This teacher is a misogynist. She lives to insult her students . I dropped her and requested a refund after 2 weeks.

I haven't taken any math courses for over 10 years. She said I wasn't going to do well in this class and that I should take fundamentals of algebra because I got everything on the placement test wrong. Her teaching style is horrible. You're better off learning from Youtube. It takes 10 minutes on youtube and 3 hrs of hell in her class.

Her quizzes are really difficult. She moves very fast and you can't ask questions in class. I wouldn't take her again. She only teaches in the morning because she isn't around the rest of the day so you can't meet with her for help unless you come at 8am. I had her with Calc 1B.

WORST TEACHER in the school system. Students ask questions and she makes them feel stupid for asking. Once she said, "did you try the help me solve this" "yes" "did you try the tutoring center" "yes" "Ok well I don't have time to answer your question in class" Save yourself. Do not take her class avoid at all costs.

Not helpful, if you get lost or confused she won't take the time to help you understand the material. She gives tests/quizzes on material at the end of class AFTER 2 weeks of additional material that's NOT on these exams, which fills your mind with new material that you won't use for 2 weeks. I dropped the class and will no take her again.

Terrible i took calc in high school & I think she made me worse shes the if i start at 801am & ur not there she marks you absent. Grades Extremely heavy even if u get the right answer on a quiz (which are 2 problems usually) she takes off points for not doing it her way

She is not a good professor, academically we would rush through chapters and she gives an attitude if you simply ask for help. I see the way she treated some students and simply it just is not helpful. I was struggling with calc and a tutor was better than her.

If you enjoy writing example problems from the book down for 4 hours a week, doing hours of homework, taking 1 question quizzes, taking tests outside class times, having a teacher who is very rude and makes faces when you ask questions, take this class!!! Hands down worst class I have ever taken. 10/10 would NOT reccomend

Treats you like high school students but gives you a lot of work.

Legit the worst professor I've had so far. Don't even bother asking for help, she'll just yell at you. Grading wise, she'll take points off for not doing the work her way. TBH, I hate the entire Calc department. Don't take any calc classes, they're all scrubs. But if you HAVE to, don't take Weston.

she's the worst professor I've ever seen in my lifetime. No matter how good you are in calculus you'll still struggle. Don't bother listening in class because you won't still learn anything, you're better off watching ten minute youtube videos.

Very hard to understand, is not a fan of receiving questions and is very monotone it is very hard to stay awake.

Gets irrationally angry when you ask questions, reads off of a paper, practically teaching off of a powerpoint, this class is just a vessel for you to teach yourself, pray that you dont have a question or she will beam down on you with disrespect.

She was so rude to anyone who asked a question like they should already know the answer. I've already seen her snap at multiple kids and I'm still in the first month. Worst math professor I've ever had the unpleasure of having.

She literally hates teaching. She is the only professor that gives both paper and online homework, She does NOT go over anything in class. She prewrites all the notes in illegible cursive and if you ask a question, she will shame you in the middle of the lecture. She is a case for tenure going away.

Expect an absurd amount of homework and getting side glanced if you show up even a minute late. Take's her job too seriously.

Prof. Weston is incredibly unprofessional and will find anything to complain about you if you do the slightest wrong thing. Also forget about going to the bathroom in the first 30 minutes of class because she will mark you late. She is incredibly monotone and all her notes are in cursive so good luck staying awake and/or reading anything in class.

Its honestly surprising on terrible Weston is at her job. She doesn't even teach, she just reads from her notes written in 1920s cursive, that consists of writing from the textbook, and the practice problems. The only reason I passed was because I took Calc in high school. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!!!

I watched organic chemistry tutor during her lectures.

I have never had a teacher get so offended for asking questions. She makes students feel bad for asking questions and then gets mad when no one has a question. I suggest watching YouTube videos after her class since she does not teach well.

Candice Weston is a nice woman but a terrible teacher. She is helpful if you need help outside of class but don't expect to get anything out of her lectures.

She is so objective in her grading that she'll take points off for missing equals signs on scratch work or "not neat" scratch work. Her quizzes are nothing like the notes, which are unreadable pre-written cursive notes. She yells at you for asking questions. Told me to get tested for a mental disability because I couldn't do integrals.
