I took her social problems class. It was extremely informative and it helped me see things differently about the world. She is an amazing teacher. Since it is a gordon rule class we wrote a ton of papers but it definitely all worth it. A lot of group discussions in her class.

I can say so many great things about prof. G. She is awesome!Definately one of the best at Miami Dade. She accepts everyone for who they are. I am trying my very best to get in one more of her classes.Being in her class was an awesome exprerience.

Not only does she remind me of Alyssa Milano, she actaully has the brains to go with her looks! Plus she's knowledgeable on a lot of topics. Man, this porfessor will definitly make you think and participate! AND SHE CARES ABOUT PROGRESS! Which PROFESSOR AT MIAMI DADE DOES THAT??

This is the best class I have taken so far at MDC. She is fun and extemely helpful with everything. Everyone should have the chance of taking any of her classes. Tests are take home and tons of extra credit!!!

Ms.G was overall a good professor. At first, I thought the class was going to be hard, but was pleasantly surprised. All the tests are take home, and the writing assignments aren't hard. Just get to class on time because she will mark you tardy if you are one min late.

I took her class for Intro to Sociology. I wasnt crazy goin in, but after a few weeks i couldnt wait.. However, class is what u make it. There were no books during class, so participation is what made class fun. All exams were take home. so as long as you came to class, participated & did the take home exmas (right out the book), guaranteed A!

The course was well taught and very interesting. Online exams are easy if you study AHEAD OF TIME. If you show up to every class on time and study for the exams, you will get an A.

Her SLS class is super easy you have to have some personal issues to fail this class. tests are within the fisrt few mins of the start of each class and shes really uptight about cell phones!

You MUST be on time or it will seriously hurt your grade. She does have a little superiority complex, she thinks she's right ALL the time. The class it self is very interesting and you will learn alot about current events. Tests are ok and they are done online and you can use the book. Dont need the book for class. Couple papers to write.no biggie.

First of all, she has a RIDICULOUS attendance policy, she takes 10 points off every absence and 5 points for every late, so if you think you will have to miss class a few times, don't bother taking her because you will end up with a D or F even if you do all the work. Even if you were in the hospital, she says there are NO EXCUSED ABSENCES!!!

She has issues she has mutiple personalities and at times she cab be very nasty. She thinks were in high school not being able to even look at your phone she has to understand were adults and we have responsibilites but she teaches ok I guess and you can never miss a class or get to class late so if you have a life and family think twice about her. The +'s are that the answers for the test are straight from the book, the 1 project is easy, and her classes are mostly conversations. Unfortunately, she is no help when it comes to preparing you for the tests b/c her classes tend to be pertain to the subject (only about 2-4 ok lectures). I would have liked to hear something different/challenging.

WARNING be prepared to be treated like a child. She's a sociologist/ educated lady, but doesn't seem to understand that the death penalty isn't a deterrent. Prof.G is a very good teacher, she has her own teaching methods and she does a good job teaching. The only problem is attendance, she very extrict with that and she doesn't like tardiness. I took her online and she was very helpful and would respond to her emails fast. You have 2 quizzes, one for each chapter and then an exam. Then you have discussions and you have to reply to 2 posts and that's pretty much it! The answers for the quizzes and exams come straight from the book so you need it!

Her class is very good & is worth taking. She gives lectures which are interesting. She is nice but she does not play when ppl are on their phones. Easiest class ever. I took it online with virtual school. The class is based on 14 quizzes, 4 tests, and like three discussions. For the quizzes, you NEED the book. I moslty used quizlet.com for the stuff i could not find. As for tests, they are the same questions as the quizzes. VERY EASY!!

Great professor! She's very funny and has a lot of patience. I took her for SYG2000 and for SYG2010 both great courses. Attendance is MANDATORY if you care about your participation grade. Took her online and would never! You have to read all 16 chapters. There is a quiz for every chapter and a test for every four. She is a picky grader. And she will make you do assignments that have nothing to do with the class. I finished with an A but i worked supeeeer hard. very tedious to read the whole book and then she will make tricky quiz.

I didn't think I would like this class but it was a req. It ended up being my favorite this semester. A lot of reading but its interesting because it deals with everyday life. Prof. is organized, helpful, and grades very quickly. I highly recommend this class.

Took her online. I really enjoyed the class and didn't find it hard at all. Her online assignments are really interesting - watch films and easy discussion forums. Two attempts at quizzes and 90 minutes for test. She drops the lowest two quizzes at the end. She is very helpful, quick response to questions and reminder emails. I highly recommend!

This professor turned a subject I didn't too much care for (read stupid) and made it somewhat okay for me to stomach. I like Ethics and psychology class not so much this-sociology class and my now philosophy class. Anyway, she's really helpful when it comes to assignments, her test are at home and easy if you read the text book. She's funny also.

First, there is no textbook! Her teaching style is unique where its more of group learning, no exams. There is reading but its always interesting and on topic with current events. This was the only class I actually looked forward to. Professor G. really cares about her students and goes above and beyond for them; she is a breath of fresh air.

There are no exams and 1 group project. This class separates from the rest in that it allows you to critically think among your peers about social problems.

Heres the breakdown: No book, no exams, light reading, group discussions, and bullet point summarizations, 1 group project, lots of extra credit. The work is reasonable not hard; she will push you in the best possible way. Class is interesting and she even throws in a few good movie days. This was my favorite class at MDC.

She gives lots of extra credit opportunity, easy A if you participate and do some light reading and writing. Class is always interesting and fun; she saved my spring semester when I was flooded with 6 classes. Her teaching method is outside the box in that she lets students critically think about social problems rather than lecture on them.

Prof G is an amazing professor, she conveys the wholesome material for the class very well by engaging us in discussions, and showing us short movie clips and documentary's that relate to the topic or discussion, that keeps you alert, and sometimes gives you a greater understanding of the topic. Amazing professor! I took her online for Intro to Sociology and all I can say is that the class was really easy. There are about 12-15 quizzes, and she drops the 2 lowest grades. The midterm is based on the quizzes. I got an A without using the book. I work and study full-time (took 4 more), and I managed to finish the class a month before.

She is definitely a cool teacher, doesn't teach much, most of the time, you would be teaching the class based on the articles that she selects you to read that is a social problem. she gives extra credit, and ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORYY AND AFTER BEING ABSENT THREE TIMES, YOU WILL BE DROPPED, SO USE THEM WISELY. Professor Gluskoter is amazing inside and out and I love her style. Her teaching techniques are simple she lecture and gives an assignment on the blackboard and go over the chapters and quiz. She is not judgmental, so don't be scared to speak, but do not disrespect anyone she does not tolerate that and no phones after she calls attendance. :)

Make sure you print out the due dates and put it somewhere obvious. Sometimes you are ahead and that's great but if you fall behind your grade will take a quick nose dive. Class is very interesting and yes you have to read.

Social problem was an amazing class. The diversity was everything. We spoke about some great topics and I can say I really learned in this class. Pro. G is really tough on attendance but It surely gets you ready for the real word. She can be a tough cookie, but is most definitely open for constructive criticism and feedback.

She's great, has an amazing sense of humor. Makes class super interesting and super fun. Makes the assignments super fun especially that one project she assigns you will have a blast doing it. I recommend taking her she's a sweetheart and you will pass her class easily.

I love this lady, she is the type of person you wish you had as a friend. She teaches with confidence due to her knowledge and experience in the field of study. It was really hard to get bored in her lectures because she added flavors to the lessons, It was a 3-hour class, summer term and she managed to teach it precisely and in a fun way.

Very easy course, definitely recommend anyone to take it online. She's very nice and gives extra credit. 4 modules, 3 chapters per module with 30 question test after every chapter. Each module has an exam except for module 2 which is a proctored exam.

Took online, very easy. Proctored midterm. Just do your work, and you'll get a good grade. Good!

The teacher was very nice and the class was very interesting with lot of activities and discussions going on in class. You have to put effort in order to receive an A, but it's totally worth it, because you will actually learn a lot.

I took this class online and it wasn't hard at all. All you have to do is your quizzes, exams, and assignments and you're good. just 1 midterm and no final. Professor Gluskoter even offer plenty of extra credit. She is a good professor and I really enjoyed taking this class. Just do the work before its due and you are guaranteed to pass.

This professor might seem tough but she offers so much extra credit that it will help your grade. My best extra credit assignment was jury duty at UM, it was a wonderful experience. The course itself is very interesting, she gives you prep questions for all exams and 75% of them will be on the actual test. Easy A

Okay, I'm going to be real with you. She's a really fun teacher and the class itself is actually extremely interesting. My favorite topic was like Pink/Blue. One of the best Professor's at Miami Dade, hands down. Professor G was amazing and her class was a very special experience. Every student in the class connected well and we all bonded so well over the course of 16 weeks. Best class ever. I highly recommend Prof. G. She funny as hell too. Easy A.

Great proffesor. Easy only 3 exams for the course, and a few more assignments. Pay attention to the lecture. On the discussion board assignments please reply to other students assignments. Be on time. Come to class. Don't use your phone in her class. The class is fun.

she is an amazing professor but you have to be very punctual in her class. Attendance is mandatory. The only thing that I didnt like is that if you are 1 min late she will drop points in your attendance grade.

Loved her class! Took her for summer B. It was an interesting class. She's super knowledgeable and hilarious. We have two group projects, 3 online tests, and two discussion forums, a couple of easy assignments. We only had to write one paper and it's based on experience. If I could, I'd take this class again. Also, she hates phones.

A great teacher. Only thing that she is strict on is punctuality and no phones. Her lectures are great and she's hilarious. Her tests are all online and they are straight from the book so there's no reason to cheat or get less than an A in her class. Recommended!

I'm currently taking her class and I love professor G, just make sure you come to class on time and i only think its fair that she has the attendance policy, incident happen in life and we may be late sometimes, but if your a person that don't like coming to school or always late don't waste your time or her time taking her class i highly recommend

Proffesor G is hands down one of my favorite proffesor in all my schooling history. She teaches the material in a way that not only makes it interesting but in a way that you can understand the material. Participating in her class came very natural to me and made the expierence better to pass the course. She knows her materail very well! Take her!!

Prof. Gluskoter loves to teach and it shows. She always came prepared to class and created an ideal atmosphere that promoted learning through respect, intelligent discussion and fun. Most of the class was engaged and I'm sure we all learned many very important concepts that we will use either in our lives or careers, if not both. Course is a must.

So i'm going to be completely honest... At first she was extremely annoying to me, but then she started to rub off on me. She really is a sweetheart when you get to know her, but make sure you do her work because everything in that class is literally there for your own benefit.. If you're late just stay home, if you skip her class, you'll fail

I LOVED GOING TO THIS CLASS IT WAS INTERESTING AND FUN. SHE IS STRICT WITH ATTENDANCE AND CELL PHONES. TESTS ARE EASY AND IF HOMEWORK IS DONE YOU WILL GET A GOOD GRADE.

Class could have been more challenging. Take her for a guaranteed A with no real work required. I passed with an A but don't feel I learned anything :( I didn't read anything because I didn't have to. She does not make you work for your grade. There is 1 midterm, no final. Gives you a lot of time to complete assignments and minimal work.

Amazing intelligent woman, very helpful, always update you on things and drops 2 of your lowest grades... I would definitely take her if Ive gotten another chance!!! Best ever

Just finished online course. Great professor! Work is due at the end of every month, which seems simple enough but if youre not on top of it its easy to forget since theres no set dates in calendar. Gives extra credit and drops two lowest quiz grades. Great communication! Would take again!

This professor made my first real semester at MDC (Fall 2019) actually enjoyable. Do all the assignments and you should get an A. Minimal effort is required for tests as long as you pay attention to the lectures and read. There are some papers but and group projects but as long as you follow the rubric you'll be fine.

She is a kind prof. The work was not hard at all and the material is enjoyable the way she teaches it. Do the work and come to class, and you will be fine. Took her class in fall 2019.

Took her online. super sweet will help you with your grade at the end. class consists of discussions and reply to your classmates, quizzes, and tests. super easy class if youre on top of your stuff. i recommend her.

Took this professor for Introduction to Sociology online. All the assignments, due dates, and grading criteria was really clear. If you complete all your assignments and do well on quizzes/tests you will pass with an A. She answers emails fairly quickly too! Extra credit is available at the end of the semester. Id 100% take this professor again!

Not a stressful class. Sped should take this class with her. You work on your own. If you do all your assignments and quizzes you will pass the class with an A

Professor Gluskoter, is amazing she always emails us to keep us going . they are 3 modules with 12 quizzes and 2 discussions per module which is 6, along with 3 module exam one at the end of each they are very simple just review the material And you should be OK take this class.

There's 3 modules, each has 2discussions and 3-4quizzes, and there's no midterm or final. At the end she gave us 10 extra credit assignment topics and we were allowed to complete up to 5 for a total of 1 point each.

I took professor G online and I do not regret it. Dont waste time buying book because she gives pdf slides and lots of supplemental videos. Proctored Midterm only, gives 2 EC oportunities. 4 discussions and 4 modules in total. each module has 4 quizzes and 1 module test. Even if you fail the midterm and you get an A everywhere else u'll pass w A

She was the best professor. Very easy and class was interesting everyday.
