super nice lady. very helpful and a very fair marker. The best teacher to take for anatomy or physiology. By far my favorite teacher.She also has a good sense of humor.

She was a great teacher. Anatomy overall is a hard class, and you HAVE to study your butt off for it-don't take this as a joke! But if you need to take it, take it with her. She teaches very well. I think she is a fair grader.

this is very hard class, no matter which teacher u take. but take hers, she is very helpful. u must study, this is not a joke, just remeber..study study and study! after all that u will be fine!(i got a B in spring 2004)

READ the book w/ the use of the study guide.do u know how nice and helpful she grades? we had 6 quizzes/exams (excluding the finals) i had F,D,C,C,A,A and i got a B for that class. just show her that ur working hard and go to the LAB! it really helps.

Cara was a hard teacher but she knew her stuff. She advised people to study what was in the guide to get a good grade and she was right.She always throws in a bit of humor to the class.On our final one of the questions was how does she spell her name lol

Whoever says she's a hard teacher is wrong... she's tough, but fair. She wants you to learn the material but more importantly understand it. She give partial credit, but she takes tests very seriously. Read and pay attention to lecture and you'll pass for sure. No slackers. She'll beat your butt!

Wint. 05. She taught w/ Dr. Duglass. The class was on Dinosaurs, & they taught through powerpoint lectures. She is extremely helpful. She is very thorough, and you need to take detailed notes. One of the most enjoyable teachers I've ever had. Try to take them together, for they compliment each other

The subject of Anatomy is difficult, but she is not. It is just alot!! of information. She is very fair and basically wants you to succeed. She is very straight foreward, no funny or sneaky stuff on tests, thank god. She is a good teacher.

If you find the subject interesting and are willing to study practically everyday...you will love Cara! She's very helpful, her lectures are fun and interesting and she's very easy to talk to. Great sense of humor. Very much cares about her students.

Cara has good communication, is able to connect with students on the material, knows Phy-Ant inside and out, has great Humor, ***but you WILL work your tail off!!!

anatomy itself takes alot of memorization, but its a fun class. Shes real nice n tries to lighten up the atmosphere in class! She has the coolest toys like a pulsating heart! You do have to study, but shes a fair grader. We had a lecture and lab test AND a cumulative test for our final. We also had a couple of drawings for homework

DON'T GIVE UP on this class.No science class is easy, but after all the hard work,it's all worth it.We just had the final lab exam 2day, and when i was leaving I got all sad about it. I didn't do too well on the first lec and lab exam(B/C-), but after working extra hard on it, i got A's on almost the rest of them.Plus,u could tell she really cares.

Science Geek, Goofy, and bouncy.. Tough class but she is fair and helpful. Be prepare to study long hours if you plan on pasting the class. Excellent professor! Highly recommend. A++

She's a great teacher! If you take this class, you need to study HARD. She's a very fair grader. It's very possible to get an A in this class if you just up with the pace. She's fun too!

Best. Professor. Ever. =) Really smart, really nice, and really helpful. She wants nothing but the best for her students. Plus, she remembers everybody's names. The amount of material may be intimidating, but she helps you handle them as much as she could. I definitely would take her again if she's teaching physo1 next semester.

Ms. Jones is COOL, funny and a SCIENCE GEEK forsho!! she's a fair grader, she makes things easy for the student, very helpful and organized.EXAMS : LAB is alright LEC: CONFUSSING but if you study based on her STUDY GUIDE it will be easy for you to get an A++.. take her and you wont regret it !!

She geninunely tries to make a class like Physo 2A less stressful than it is. I would definitely recommend her, she is very patient and open to questions during class. Very quirky lady, makes corny jokes ALL the time, felt like I was the only one laughing. surprisingly short, but adorable. She deserves my props and respect.

This class alone is tough but she makes it fun. She is a very sweet and understanding professor. She grades well and she loves teaching. I loved her class. I highly recommend her. I plan on taking her again for Physo 2A. AND VERY UNDERSTANDING WITH FAMILY ISSUES.

Physo is a tough class, however, Ms. Burres Jones tries her best to make it less stressful, her lectures are OK, tests are easy and her study guide is amazing. Helped me alot!

Such a sweet heart. Elloquent lectures. Does everything she can to help you grasp the material. The subject is challenging though.

most people got an A in her fall class! tests are all from the text book and study guide. buy the text book! no tricky questions. she tries to give more extra points on her practical exams. don't leave the blank on her practical exam. just write anything you learn, she may give you a half point for that :)

Ms. Burres-Jones is the best! Quirky and fun, she knows her stuff and is always willing to help you understand it too! She made a tough class like Physio 2B super fun and enjoyable :)

She's a good lecturer but she tends to talk fast so take quick notes. Very helpful with questions. Tests are difficult. You need to study hard in this class. Very stressful class so be prepared but the teacher is very helpful and is willing to up you a grade if you work hard and show your determination to learn.

prof cara is Inspiring! makes daunting materials less daunting. her practical examples & personal memory aids (mnemonics, drawings, allegories, life experiences) help keep physiology & anatomy interesting & worth pursuing. her classes get filled up asap so make sure to enrol early! show her you studied before coming to class-she will appreciate it!

Professor Cara is great. Her class is interesting but her lecture test are much more difficult than her lab tests. However, she provides you with a study guide, so as long as you study what's on there, you should be fine. Study though! It's a MUST. She is always willing to help and is very approachable.

physo2B is heavier than 2A, but she's not that hard. read the book and review it to understand. review her lectures b4 tests. lectures r frustrating as she goes from point B to p. A to p. C, then back to B, jumping all around, like she didn't totally prepare for the lecture. but she knows her stuff and is extremely helpful. Lab tests r very easy.

took prof cara again for physo2b.study,study, study 2 get good grades. approach her if there unclear aspects. she will not mind it, in fact, she welcomes it. she loves to teach & can go on & on just to make sure you understand the lesson. she wants u 2 do well, so u try ur hardest in turn. very practical, reasonable & understanding teacher.

Having Cara as a professor has been one of the most refreshing educational experiences. she equips you with all of the tools-her experience shows as she uses various methods to wrap your brain around concepts. The sign of a great teacher is the quality of lectures - I only used the book for the pictures and got an A.She is in a class of her own

Cara has the biggest heart. She is so passionate about Anatomy and what she does for a living and it truly shows. She bends over backwards to help in ANY way possible. I'm taking her right now and has become one of my favorite, if not the best, teacher I've had at PCC. She's very helpful and clear. You just really have to make it a priority to study and ask questions if you don't understand and take advantage of the lab that's located by the elevator.

Intelligent teacher and knows her stuff well. Uses powerpoint for lectures and sometime jokes around or tell stories to lighten the atmosphere.Txtbook is highly recommended since most of the materials require looking at pictures. Although class is not easy,it is possible to get an A if you study hard.

My favorite teacher. She's passionate and goofy and clear. Great study guides. Pay attention and make flash cards and you'll do great. I got an A while taking micro at the same time after having been out of school for 5 years. I wish she taught more classes!

She is sooo knowledgeable and transmit her knowledge clearly (she is an antropologist. highly recommended for people wanting to get into the healthcare field. she is my favorite teacher at PCC. her test are a little hard but the study guide is very helpful.

English accent a bit annoying but pretty good. A must. Supposedly less difficult than Hsin. Study hard in general.

Her lectures are best described as having TMI. To succeed, you will need TMI (time, motivation, and interest). Read the book, take good notes, and study anatomy models. Class May appear VERY overwhelming at first but really not too bad as long as you do the reading. Way harder than 2A with Chammas. Good luck and be sure to study study study!

It's not a very difficult course, she curved the class and did gave a lot of points each time. Just need to keep up with study and you will be fine. Study her lecture notes and use the book as a reference. That's what I did and I got an easy A!

Cara was my teacher for Biology 2 (Zoology!) and her charisma alone will make you love the class. The material is heavy, but you will find yourself enjoying and learning at the same time. The textbook is interesting in itself as we'll as get videos and pictures and lectures. Labs are cool! I made friends in this class and even had a field trip!

One of the greates professors ever. The material is very heavy, but trust me when I say this: it WILL get easier. She's so immature at times (in a good way) and shows the ultimate respect students deserve. Take her! You will not regret it.

Cara is a very sweet professor. When she grades exams she calls everyone up individually to discuss your grade (which is always curved). She cares. I am not a science person at all!!! & I am currently getting an A, but i have read the book and followed her study guide. my advise is to take her and be ready to read and study!

Anatomy is one of the most challenging classes in general. Professor Burres- jones is an exception professor. Her test are not difficult if you study and prepare. Best way to study is to use different sources to study. E.g YouTube, book, google images. Take her. She's a sweet person and a fair grader as a professor.

Wonderful professor and always puts a smile on my face! Even though the lectures are super long , they are important! Most of the exam questions are taken off from the PowerPoint lectures. Memorizing is also an important aspect in this class, need to know a lot of terms! So studying the night before won't do you any good. Totally recommend!

Anatomy is by no means an easy class; most of it is raw memorization, and Cara is one heck of a professor to teach the subject. She is quirky, spontaneous and very smart. Tests are usually curved, & Lectures can be super long, and you can get overloaded with terms easily. Take your time with the book/study guide and anyone can do well in her class!

She's so welcoming and nice. All the information is key, and her powerpoint lectures are so clear. Be sure to attend dissections! The exams are half lecture half lab, which is different to those who haven't done lab practicals. It's a class where you have to put effort to see a high grade. A lot of memorization, flash cards are key! Really fun!

Not the easiest class, especially if you're taking this as GE, you do have to study quite a bit do well. There's a lab practical with every lecture exam so take advantage of lab time to look at specimen. She lectures a lot with powerpoints, so a laptop would be good to bring to class. Really nice and passionate about the material, would take again.

I loved Professor Jones! By far my favorite professors in college. Her classes are very lecture heavy and all, if not most, of the test material is in the lectures. She always brings up text from the book for reference, but if you pay attention in class, you don't need the book. You can tell she loves what she teaches and that passion is infectious

Took her for Anatomy in the fall and she is the BEST professor at PCC! She LOVES what she does and it's very clear through her lectures. Her power points and lectures are very detail oriented which is amazing! Tests are exactly what we discuss in class, she provides study guides which are really useful for the lab practical. Eat breathe sleep ANAT!

She's one of the most passionate and knowledgeable plus entertaining professors I've ever had. I pray I get a C because I took 4 other classes with hers and so that might reflect on my grade but I pray that if I do really well down the stretch that I will get that life saving C! She's awesome though.

This is JP. I just left an outstanding review of professor Burres - Jones. I have the honor and good fortune to have her for Anatomy 025. She's great and caring. Really tries to help her students out. Her lectures are fun, stimulating and educational. She clearly is awesome at teaching. I pray I get a C.

She is a great professor,very passionate on the subjects she teaches. Her lectures can feel like a drag sometimes because they're lecture heavy, but I wouldn't want any other professor for bio. You will have to put effort and time into her class, but it's definitely worth it. She gives study guides and her tests aren't hard if you study powerpoints

Don't take this class expecting to learn about cute, furry creatures all semester. Most of the "animals" won't become recognizable until the end of the term. Very lecture heavy, but Cara is charismatic and funny. Skipping class is possible, but makes it VERY hard to keep up. Tons of terms to remember. Go for the bonus points on lab practicals!

Ms. Burres is a really great instructor and teaches the material really well. Always responds back to your email and makes sure you understands everything. You need to put time outside of class to study because you cant just do little and expect an A. Attend her class, study, ask questions because she does stay after and you should pass.

I take her morning class and she is so understanding of our state of minds. Her class is difficult but it's not her fault, it's the class itself. However, she helps us get through it as much as possible. Be communicative with her if you don't understand anything or struggling personally/academically or else it's hard to pass.

I personally had a great experience with Cara, she brought a very positive energy to her lectures which is important in order to keep the students interested. I do find that sometimes we did get overwhelmed with information (but then again this is an anatomy class so we were kinda expecting it right?) The tests are definitely a challenge so study!!

Professor burres is so so sweet and quirky. Anatomy in general is a very hard subject but she made it better. Definitely a lot of exams. 6 exams, not TOO hard. Shes also great at responding and she is very understanding of you situation as well! 10/10

I literally LOVE Cara with all my heart. Best professor I've had! She gives off these quirky mom vibes & really cares for your growth/success. Her lectures are interactive & break everything down so it's easier to understand. It's still not an easy class bc anatomy covers so much in so little time but she's amazing at guiding you through it all!

I took anatomy and she was amazing and helpful. She curves exams and helps you to understand if you will ask. She let you play with models for as long as you want. Anatomy is not an easy class, she is trying to prepare you for physiology class. Her power points are great, very useful for your future, I saved them all. Thank you, professor Cara!

She is truly passionate and loves teaching anatomy! Her lectures goes into detail. You must dedicate a lot of time towards this class. 6 exams total. Do not underestimated the amount of studying needed. Overall, the subject very stressful and hard to learn, but it is not impossible as long as you put in effort. Professor Cara makes it worth it!

This class isn't easy by any means but Dr. Burres-Jones really helps break down complicated topics and use relatable examples to make connections in class. She is reasonable with grading and as long as you keep up with the study guides given, read the textbook and lecture notes, you should be fine. She's one of the better profs i've had tbh.

Anatomy is a hard subject period. No teacher will make it easier but with a strong professor the course will feel less intimidating. Professor Jones makes lectures interesting, funny, informative, and detailed. She places a lot of effort in study guides, PowerPoints, and adds extra modules to help you succeed. I wish she taught physiology!!!

She is very detailed, funny, supportive, and extremely intelligent. Professor Jones sets you up for success by providing amazing tools but it's up to you to study outside of class, very important!!

Be prepared to put in the work. She's easy to talk to and will gladly answer questions about the material. Be prepared to study alotttt. Def not an easy course but I feel like I learned a lot.

Such an amazing professor! I'm so glad I got to take prof Cara this semester!! She explains the material very well and is so incredibly knowledgeable. She is very caring towards her students and is always going out of her way to help others and answers any questions you need. Hard class but putting the work in and practicing over and over is key

she retired this semester and i'm soo glad i took her when i did. she's sincere and kind, loves to teach, and her exams involve identifying parts of the physical models instead of looking at a slide. her slides and lecture served as a great introduction, but i had to LEARN everything on my own. wish i could take her for physiology, she's amazing!
