Had Cara for Math 60 over the summer. I have never been good at Math, but came out with an A. Shes very helpful, hardly any homework (that gets graded that is), fully reviews work before tests, gives practice worksheets. You can tell she wants her students to succeed. I didnt like how often we had to work in groups though, but thats just me.

Cara is such a wonderful math teacher because she truly loves the subject and wants to share it with others. I was able to ace math 95 this summer because she covered everything so clearly in math 70. I highly recommend her!

Very nice,very,very helful in any kind of a situation the student might be in.She sacrifices a lot to make are students understand everything.She is very intelligent,loving and patient.Nobody can fail her if they came to study. Earning an A is a choice of the student,cause nobody comes to her class and come out with a less expectation but greater.

Cara is a great teacher who treats everyone with dignity and respect. There are no stupid questions in her class and she simplifies learning how to solve problems so you can better retain it. she is always available to her students and encourages them to use available resources. My only problem with Cara is she is not teaching all my classes!

I loved taking Cara's class. I dreaded taking math (hadn't done so for over 20 years) but she made it easy. She is a very caring, wonderful woman who gives each of her students respect, and actually seeks to make them grow as a student. Her teaching style is simple so you can retain the lessons and there are never any stupid questions you can ask.

Super nice teacher. The only thing I really didn't like about this teacher is the homework doesn't count for any points. But she is really helpful and really wants to see her students succeed.

Cara is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. She really cares, is GREAT at teaching math, and fosters a happy and community based class. I was supposed to transfer entirely to PSU next quarter, but will be coming back instead to take my math classes from Cara. She's that good!

There are not enough words to describe miss Cara Lee, She goes above and beyond the call of duty to help her students. I have taken all of Cara's math labs, and I just finished taking math 95 with her. I would have not passed that class if it had not been for her help and support. I would take her class over and over again if I had too. Thank god.

If every math teacher was like Cara, no one would ever struggle in math again. I went into math 60 after being out of a classroom for 10yrs and felt lost and anxious but Cara helped me every step of the way, I took her for 65 and 95 also in addition to 3 terms in the math lab. Best teacher PCC has hands down! I wish she taught above 95!!

I thought she was a wonderful teacher. She made Math 20 fun with her game. She tutored in the tutoring lab after class. She was always smiling when I came to class. I wish she taught Math 60 for winter term. She also runs a workshop called Math games where you can get extra credit.

Mrs. Lee was wonderful to work with! Always available and had extra credit.

I really hate math and I'm awful at it, but Cara makes this class a lot easier to follow and is a great grader, she always gives partial credit for attempted answers which helps a lot with your grades. She also is always in the tutoring center for her office hours which helps a lot when you're struggling! You only need the textbook for homework.

She is definitely my favorite math teacher ever. She teaches so well and she's always willing to help you understand or to explain things differently so you get it. She's very sweet and understanding.

Cara is a very caring teacher, for she would go out of her way to help out students. She works at a fast rhythm, but doesn't like to leave students behind. If you need extra help she will definitely help you!

Cara is easily the most caring and effective teacher I have ever had. Math is a subject that many people, including myself, struggle with but she never makes anyone feel dumb and is very good at helping any type of person learn any level of math. Statistics is a difficult course but Professor Lee cares about her students and she lovessssss statistics. She makes the course easier and does her best to implement fun activities here and there to give you a real world perspective. She is in the tutoring center twice a week which is really helpful as well.

I loved Cara! This was my second time taking STATS. And she made it so much better for me. You have two midterms. And than a final. There is a group project. But she's willingly to help! IF you're scared to take stats. take it with her. Trust me, she's one of the best math teachers I've ever had. I would definitely take her again for any math class

Cara is AMAZING! She is clear and kind, thoughtful and takes the time to explain things at a comfortable pace for those who need it, as well as allows those who are able to move more quickly the chance to do so. I would 100% choose her for future coarse. I wish she would teach MTH98... (Hint) :)

I recommend her, even though she's not allowing to use calculator in class but it's best for you because you'll learned how to do the math. She is very very nice teacher!. She will talk to you if your doing bad in her class and she will helped you pass!

Can not say enough about Cara. We were her first class to take a flipped class (lecture at home homework in class) and the videos she made for the lecture was great and very helpful. In class she did a phenomenal job at making students feel welcome and making the class fun with math games. Would absolutely take another one of her classes.

I took Cara's hybrid 105 class, and it was phenomenal. I never thought I'd enjoy lectures at home and hw in class, but her videos and worksheets were so detailed and easy to follow I almost preferred them to in-class lectures. The class work was interesting, fun, and relevant. I would absolutely recommend her, especially if you struggle with math.

I liked that she would check in on every during class. You get a lot of time to work and ask question.

I'd never say that math would be my favorite class, but here we are. I'm in one of Cara's flipped classes, meaning we do the lecture at home via youtube videos and the more challenging homework in class. And I love it. She's so sweet and helpful, I enjoy coming to math everyday. I'd take her classes again in a heartbeat. 10/10, would recommend.

Cara is the most inspirational and kind math teacher I have ever had. I've been through a good chunk of math classes, including stats before this (which I got a D in), and over halfway through this course I am doing great and completely understand the material. Cara takes her time explaining and never hesitates to go above and beyond. Remarkable.

Cara Lee is a phenomenal teacher. She is very caring and seriously is there to help students. If you take a class from her, you will understand. No matter how slow you may think you are, she's there to help you every step of the way. She's also incredibly understanding if you have a sick day or miss class for something important or unexpected.

I took a hybrid class with this professor and she was the best. Even thought we only met an hour and 50 minutes a week, she made every minute count. She cares so much about her students and would do anything to help you pass. As long as you show up, do your best work, and not give, she will go out of her way to help you pass.

Literally in the top 5 professors I've ever had and I think I ever will. the lectures are very clear and applied to real life situations making the abstract concepts easy to grasp. If every math teacher were like this I HONESTLY think everyone would enjoy taking math classes.

Theres 4 quizzes, three written assignments, two midterms, a final, and a group project. recommended prerequisite: Math 105.

Amazing teacher. So organized, she emails out reminders and keeps her own personal website updated with all the materials. Clearly wants her students to succeed, such a pleasure being her student. I recommend testing into math 105 via the online ALEKS system, if you are looking to fill that math requirement for your associate degree!

Cara is so sweet. She is so helpful and really wants you to pass. there are weekly quizzes and homework assignments and also other little homework. the only thing I would complain about is how many websites we have to use. we have 2 math websites and then 1 to take quizzes and exams on. You can take quizzes as many times as you want.

Highly accessible and very ready to adjust her style to help you understand the material. Consistent with her grading and updating you on where you stand in the class, highly recommended!

First time taking Stat and it was quite good with Ms. Lee. She is willing to help with any problems. There are Late Pass for the homework. The quizzes (called Graded Problem Sets) pretty much follow the lectures. Just the exam is a bit heavy, but if you work hard, you will get what you deserve.

Rated Easy A because Cara Lee will help you do you best while building confidence and teaching you everything needed to succeed in and beyond the class.

Math had never been my strong subject but this class really does set you up to succeed if you put in the work to do the notes. Cara is a fair grader and not to mention so caring and always willing to help with any questions. Her online class was very well organized and easy to follow. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is nervous about math

Wow! I was very hesitant to take Statistics, having not been in a Math class for a couple of years or so and I was happy that the reviews did not leave me astray. For classes online, this was perfect as I have a full-time job. I was able to balance both perfectly during Covid and she explains everything thoroughly and is available outside of class.

Professor Lee is super kind and approachable. Took this class online during COVID closures and I loved the setup- video lectures with note templates you fill out as you listen, then the zoom class is a group activity you go through together with 3 other classmates. Cara is very supportive and happy to answer questions. Highly recommend!

Cara really cares about her student's success to understand math. I'm terrible at the subject, but she really changed my mind on stats. Approachable and open to questions. There are group activities, but just do the work and ask questions then you'll do fine. Seriously guys, TAKE HER!!!

Above and beyond in all of her efforts when teaching! Cara is there to help you practically 24/7 and continually finding ways to improve her curriculum and how she interacts with her students to get them comfortable with the work in the course. Could not recommend her enough to anyone, regardless of your previous relationship with math!

I would highly recommend taking a class with Cara! I took Math243 with her online during covid. I have never been more successful in a math class. She was super easy to communicate with, clear with her grading, and very understanding. The course had the average amount of homework but it felt pretty easy.

I loved taking Stats with Cara. I liked how she set up the class- lectures were recorded with notes to fill in as you watch, then class time was going through an assignment for that chapter with a group. Cara would join the zoom groups to answer questions. She's super kind and a great, encouraging teacher. I never liked math but enjoyed her class.

I started my college journey in MTH 20 so the fact that I got an A in MTH 243 without panicking is amazing. Cara is so darn sweet, and supportive. Her teaching style is clear, the grading and due dates are clear, her videos are helpful and she lets you learn however it works best for you. If you have to take Stats take Cara!!!

Cara is an excellent teacher for those who struggle with math. She is approachable, supportive and caring. She is clear in instruction and gives specific and detailed feedback. The class was well laid out and made sense. She was VERY quick to respond when you needed help. Take her class!

Cara is one of the best teachers I have had and this is my second degree. I have always struggled with math but she made this class easy to understand with lots of examples and explanation. Plenty of chances to do hw over until you reach the grade you want. She is extremely caring and wants you to succeed. I highly recommend her!

cara was by far one of the sweetest math professors here at PCC! she was always ready to help with open arms whenever I was struggling with any of the concepts taught in the class. stats is said to be the hardest math class, but with cara, I feel like this was the easiest math class i've ever taken! i would 1000% recommend cara to everyone!

There is a reason Cara's classes fill up so fast, she is truly one of the warmest, most helpful humans. I struggled with math my entire life and just didn't think it was possible for me to grasp. I was intimidated going into statistics but the class was so well organized, enjoyable, and interesting. Cara is kind, understanding, and welcoming. You can tell that she really wants you to succeed. Cara is amazing, she cares about students and basically all of the course is math applied to real life, very different from my HS math experience. I hadn't taken a math class in 5 years and she understands that. My only complaint is the fact that we have to be there for the entire 3 hour long class no matter what...I feel like this isn't necessary.

Full disclosure. since the 4th grade I have always considered myself as someone who was "bad at math". I took Stats 243 and 244 with Cara back to back and I have never felt more confident in my ability to pass a math class than I was in her class. Her grading system is amazing. Apply yourself, ask questions and use those office hours!

Cara is awesome. PCC's math department is not that great, but I would recommend Cara to anyone. Homework was doable for someone who is working while going to school. Exams and quizzes contained problems that can be studied by notes. As someone who doesn't like math, this class was enjoyable!

I was struggling with some parts of class and I was able to stay after and get so much extra help, I went in thinking I'd be lucky if I got a C but I ended up getting a B. Not to mention I also learned so much.

Take Stats with Cara! She truly cares for all of her students and her willingness to help makes a big difference for me. She helped reduce my fear of taking math again after years. There's only a midterm and exam the whole term. There are weekly quizzes and assignments. There are lots of notes to take but she provides a packet to just fill in!

Even though I suck at math, I found myself to really like stats! Cara really simplifies it. 1 desmos lab, 2 myopenmath hw, and 1 quiz a week. HW gets you an easy 100% on that part. She is super friendly and is very accessible. Lectures are detailed and interesting. The two exams are super short and are easy. +free textbook. Take stats with her!!

cara is so far the best professor I had, her lectures are very simplified and very easy to understand, the study materials are always accessible and well structured. I was never good at maths but this class made me feel like maybe I am not so bad at maths lol I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is taking stats

I took her for stats last year, but she still sticks out as one of my favorite professors of all time. She is the kindest person ever and so helpful. definitely recommend!!

Cara is an awesome math instructor. I was extremely nervous to take a math course after a decade plus since my last math course. Her weekly lectures are her going over the material with you and showing you how to take notes, literally! She uses free online textbook and other online tools like Desmos and Myopenmath. Can't recommend her enough

Professor Lee is an incredible lecturer and really helped me understand the course material. Material was incredibly accessible and had lots of flexibility to make up work with class missed. Professor Lee really seems to care about their students, and made a meaningful connection throughout the course.

Cara herself is very kind and good at explaining. However, I took this course with Peter Banwarth who I am assuming is a sub. He didn't put a whole lot of effort in, just posting Cara's lecture videos and expecting us to figure things out. I've had to email him multiple times for grade corrections.

Cara is extremely kind and helpful. I hadn't taken a math class in a while and was nervous. But Cara makes sure that every student is set up for success before taking an exam. Her lectures are easy to follow. She is also very bubbly and makes her classroom a very welcoming environment. She also isn't a very strict grader

Excellent lecture videos with walkthroughs and diligent notes. I have NEVER been good at math, and she makes it so much easier. I would recommend her to anyone who has math anxiety. I took MTH244 with Cara, and really enjoyed it. Expectations were very clear and content was presented in a way that made sense and was easy to follow. She answered questions that anyone had, and provided great feedback on homework assignments, which I appreciated. Quizzes and exams were easy, and the end of term project was fun! Would recommend!
