I took him for american history as well as Philosophy and I enjoyed both classes. I strong reccommend him to any serious about learning either subject.
Great professor. Fun class. Taking his phys class in the fall
He was a great teacher, made me understand and made me interested in learing!
great teacher, made class interesting and fun. I got a lot out of this class.
Took him for American Gov't and Philosophy. Enjoyable classes, fun lectures, and good looking on top of that.
He is a great teacher. He teaches you beyond the basics of the book and has fun discussions. Doesn't require much effort or attendence, just show up for his extremeley easy quizzes. The quizzes are common sense, you don't even need to read the chapter. Plus, he's a nice guy, just don't text in class lol!
Best teacher I've ever had. Witty, clear and fun, Dr. Colavito will explain tough concepts in easy terms, drawing upon common sense to draw out your knowledge. You can form and state your own beliefs, and discuss them. No textbook; we had two philosophy books and Plato's Republic. Quizzes are easy IF you read the material. NEVER EVER TEXT IN CLASS.
He's amazing! Very passionate about what he teaches, and makes every student feel involved in the class. Just make sure you do the readings and show up for class.
THIS PROF. REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF. SO PLEASE DON'T COME IN HIS CLASS WITH OPINIONS, BECAUSE HE'S LOOKING FOR THE FACTS.THE CLASS WAS VERY INTERESTING AND IF YOU PAY ATTENTION YOU WILL PASS. THERE'S NOT A QUESTION THIS PROF. CAN'T ANSWER, I'M SERIOUS WHEN I TELL YOU THIS SO REMEBER NO OPINIONS JUST FACTS.TAKE HIM IF YOU DON'T KNOW POLITICS.
Keeps you on your toes, read, read, read is the best thing I could tell you about his class. He is open to any an all ideas. Willing to hear you out but be ready to fight it out if he thinks your wrong and he's right. Funny, good looking, loves what he does and it shows.
This is the best professor Ive ever had. I cant recommend him enough. He's extremely intelligent, very enthusiastic and very clear in his delivery. There's no question he can't answer. I took a lot away from this class and I can't say that for many professors at FCCJ.
Professor Colavito is a fun and great professor. His class is easy, and grading scale is set so that if you miss 2 or 3 assignments, you can still pass easily with an 'A.' He is extremely knowledgeable, and he cares about you becoming a more educated person and citizen. I highly recommend this professor. You won't be sorry.
Wonderful professor! Class is easy, you only have to write one paper, and you have a few quizzes that are super easy. He really have you thinking, he's interesting, and funny. I would definately reccomend him.
Very fun class to take. Awesome professor. Quizzes are really easy, just pay attention to lectures (which are fun btw) and interact in class. Encourages discussion and opposing opinions. Really cares about the students and is a very patient professor. I would definitely recommend him. You will learn a lot and never be bored.
I LOVED his class. He had one major paper and another short paper that were take home and 3 in-class papers. The major paper was on The Republic by Plato. He challenges his students to think outside the box.
Excellent professor. Leads even non-philosophy students into the light! I would recommend to anyone. If you show up to class and do your readings, there is no reason you shouldn't get an A and learn a lot too!
Colavito's not just an awesome teacher, he's a fantastic human being. He encourages people to talk to one another, to test the limits of what they think and believe, and to expand themselves exponentially. I'm glad so many people are taking his classes- the world needs people who think like him.
Professor Colavito is an excellent teacher. He honors everyone in his clas by letting them share, even the ones who share every time. he does not leave anyone out. He is interesting and funny.
Great professor, kind of a smart ass, but in a good way!
Truly an educator. Best college professor I have ever had. Pay attention, you might learn A LOT!
super easy & fun
The syllabus he gives simply explains what he expect from each student during the semester. However, if you have questions regarding to the syllabus, he can be VERY SARCASTIC. The quizes & final test are easy, you'll gain knowledge on government, but, Make Sure YOU have COPIES of ALL COMPLETED/ GRADED assignments because HE IS NOT VERY ORGANIZED.
Awsome teacher.... Take him it will change your life.
He tells you everything he expects on the first day with the syllabus. He follows it to a t. It's a really fun class and he explains everything clearly. I wasn't that interested in Philosophy until I took his class! Great professor! Highly recommended!
I'm going to miss this guy! In the beginning,I was seriously about to drop it.I thought it was going to be a super deep class&I was too shy¬ ready for it. Am I glad I stayed! This guy really seems to care about his students&the life's we're leading. His quirky stories are hilarious. Rarely got mad, when he did he jumped back to his smiley self.
I really loved having Professor Colavito. He's a great educator and actually is active in the same activities he expects of us. I would take him again and again if I could. His class was simple to follow, laid out very well, and was always helpful with any questions and concerns I had in and out of class. And he's pretty attractive ;]
LOVE THIS GUY! This was my 2nd class that he taught. I'm taking my 3rd class with him next semester and I can't wait! He's one of the very few professors that 1. Is active in his class activities and 2. Actually WANTS you to leave the class feeling like you've learned something. I could go on forever about how awesome (& funny) he is!
I've take Colavito for Philosophy, and then his Federal Government class. Let me just say that you should NOT go into that class if you are clueless or don't know a lot about current events or the goverment in general. I thought we were going to learn about government, but it turns out it was mostly discussions about things we should alerady know.
Colavito is truly an educator. One who doesn't just think about himself as a teacher but as a educator that teaches other the meaning of what he teaches. Professor Colavito believes in his students to succeed and become successful in life. His way of thinking become our way of thinking. AWESOME PROFESSOR!!!
AMAZING educator!Took him for every class I could and loved them all! Definately take him you will not regret it!!
very laid back. some work is required but nothing really too difficult. very good teacher. take him
One of my favorite professors since I began attending college. He sticks to the syllabus so you always know when assignments are due. If you do all the assignments, show up to all the classes (you lose points for absences) actually pay attention, and TRY, you can not only get an 'A', but it will improve your life.
Absolutely loved his class! He's an awesome teacher, and is very passionate about philosophy if you take that class (he also teaches Gov). The class itself is very easy as long as you keep an eye on the syllabus and turn in due assignments. I highly recommend taking him if you like energetic teachers.
Awesome teacher. I'm taking him next semester for Gov because I loved his teaching style so much. He's very helpful, and very passionate about what he's teaching. VERY easy class, just keep an eye on the syllabus so you know when to turn stuff in. His philosophy class is pretty fun if you pay attention and are involved in discussions.
Excellent teacher. Regarding the book used, find one 2 or 3 editions earlier. They are all the same. I paid $3.00 for my outdated book and it was the same as the other students who paid over $50.00. Show up for class and do the assignments. Its that easy really. He is great
Overall, he's a great teacher. Very passionate about philosophy and is constantly applying it to real world examples. Very fun class. As long as you keep up to date with when assignments are due, you should get an A (none of the homework is very difficult, most of it is just reading print outs).
You can get an A in this class without trying too hard, but you can also get an A if you're really involved and do what he asks. He really stresses this and that's one thing a lot of people like about him, he WANTS you to take advantage of getting an education. I took him for philosophy and am in his gov. now. He never teaches a boring class!
I enjoyed his class! Im really not into politics, but he made everything fun & interactive! He's really BIG on class discussions, & details! One word...Elaborate = A :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE him! He is truly amazing at what he does and that's giving you an education. He likes to talk and listen, so participate and attend class!! Lots of ex credit opportunity and he's very helpful and attentive to your question. Taking him again just to feed my brain you should do the same!!!!
He was an amazing professor!! I took him for 2 classes and both were amazing classes. He is very passionate about what he teaches.
One of the best professors I've ever had. He loves what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. A very down-to-earth, brilliant, generous man. He'll open your eyes to thinking about the world differently without ever forcing his own opinions on you. FSCJ is lucky to have him and you need to take him. Pretty lenient on assignments and grading.
FSCJ, is lucky to have such an excellent Professor. He wants you to learn something, a lot of group stuff, his class is upbeat and active, not a lot boring lectures it's discussions quizes and final not hard if you pay attention and the the work.
Professor Colavito is a remarkable teacher.
BEST professor and true educator! Cares about students and wants you to learn! His lectures are focused, interesting, and encourage active participation. Class discussions became fun even though I'm super shy! Any class with him will improve your critical thinking skills and communication. Definitely the most on fire chili pepper at FSCJ.
Awesome professor!! Loved the class.
YOU MUST USE YOUR BRAIN! He stresses this everyday. Awesome teacher. Class participation is a MUST there are many group activities to encourage this. Main emphasis on thinking. If you don't have a brain or want to challenged. Don't take his class
Smart, fun, and enthusiastic. Very intent on making sure his students learn something. Lots of group activities, but most are very beneficial in the learning process. Does not like slackers, read and study what you're supposed to and complete all assignments and you will make an "A". Took him twice now and and absolutely love his teaching method.
DR. COLAVITO IS A VERY INTELLIGENT MAN. HE IS HEAVILY DEPENDENT ON GROUP ACTIVITIES IN THIS CLASS, WHICH I DID NOT CARE FOR. THE TWO MAIN GRADES IN THE CLASS ARE GROUP PROJECTS, BUT THE GRADING STRUCTURE IS MORE THAN FAIR. JUST FOLLOW THE SYLLABUS, CONTRIBUTE TO THE GROUP PROJECTS, AND YOU WILL GET AN "A". HE TALKS A LOT AND VERY FAST, HIGH STRUNG.
Great Professor with alot of hands on assignments. Participation is huge in his class but as long as you participate and turn in assignments than you will get an "A". Assignments due help with understanding the information needed to learn and well worth knowing. I wish there were more professors like him. GREAT JOB Professor!!
Professor COLAVITO was a great teacher. he really pushes his students to their full potential and makes learning very exciting. assignments are not hard at all they just require you to think. Would highly recommend you take him.
Professor Colavito is fabulous!
Do your required readings and do not use your phone in class and you'll do great. Awesome professor and hot too!
Professor is great, A lot of reading but he makes it interesting.
Professor is very good, you will use your book a lot so make sure you read it. he makes it interesting. I would take this professor again.
I LOVE PROF COLAVITO!! His class is crazy easy grade-wise, mainly because he's much more concerned that you get out of it what you're supposed to: learning how to better live and enjoy your own life. Frequent 4-question quizzes, a couple essays, 2 CRAZY easy exams, and that's it. He's passionate and hilarious and makes this class super fun.
If you want a better understanding of our government and how to participate in it, take this class. He gives you the concepts behind how and why our government works the way it does, instead of just a history lesson. He wants his students to learn, and you will, if you pay attention. This class was fun and I would definitely take him again.
I am definitely taking him again in the Spring! I'm sad the course is already over I gained a lot from it. He is an awesome professor everyone should get the chance to take his class!
Dr. Colavito wants you to think critically, the more outside the box, the better. Awesome thought provoking discussions and the topic of his projectspapers were usually left up to the student. If you do the work and have a half decent frontal lobe, you'll leave with an "A." He somewhat fanatical about electronics and being on time, so beware.
This class changed my life. Carl Colavito is the most outstanding professor I have ever had the honor of knowing. There are several required readings (all of which are personally beneficial) and a lot of participation. He cares about his students personally and will take time out for them. He is AWESOME.
PHI1020 is an interesting class. But Philosophy is all about the "what if's" and "shoulda, coulda, woulda" its a beautiful idea and message but the professor gets easily sidetracked and is not direct about answering questions. Funny guy, very earnest about integrity.
Best teacher I've ever had. I would take him for every class if i could. Class is easy. He does expects you to read the material before class but if you don't he will go over it again. Exams are easy. Made coming to class worth it.
Professor Colavito was an admirable instructor. Class was very insightful. He thoroughly explain everything with meaning and debt. Class consisted of class participation, group presentations (followed with individual pre.) , 5 quizzes, and 1 exam. Lots of class discussions. Take this class if you're serious about learning and improving.
It's an easy grade if you participate, pay attention and do the work. He is very energetic and won't "put you to sleep" in class. Overall, I didn't love the class, but I did enjoy him as my professor.
He is a great teacher, really knows what he's doing. Inspirational lectures, and ones that are truly informative. Group projects and interaction may seem intimidating, but students benefit from critical thinking and better understanding of content. Great teacher, great class.
Well - I am not sure about an Easy A. However, if gives tons of extra credit for you to pass. He is awesome! If you slack, you won't pass. Tons of work, so If you are a procrastinator - you might want to pick someone else. He cares. quizzes are easy if you read the chapter. however, no makeups. Be expected to do some work. Got an A in class!
I loved Dr. Colavito! I slacked off a lot during his class and really regret it. I made a C when I probably should have made an F, but I genuinely feel that because of his class I am better equipped to live a fulfilling life. I didn't do all of the assigned work, but I understood the class and what he was teaching.
Fantastic, Fantastic, FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! by far my favorite professor at FSCJ
I loved his class. I took moral and political philosophy. At the beginning, he said that if you put your effort into this class that you are going to basically come out drained, but of course I did not believe him. Lets just say I was crying once the semester was over. They were tears of joy. He is an amazing teacher and you will enjoy it, I did.
Dr. Carl Colavito was the best professor I could have ever dreamed of having for this class. His intelligence and wisdom of life, science, and history is far beyond anyone whom I have ever known. Colavito relates to his students and pushes them to their full potential without them even realizing it. I thank him for the person I am today.
Professor Colavito is the best professor FSCJ has to offer. He is able to break down complicated concepts into very understandable terms. He tells you his expectations right from the start so don't expect slack off and get an A. There are a few group projects but they are fairly simple if you plan for them ahead of time. 10/10 would take again.
Professor Colavito is really good at what he does. the class is not difficult but participation is HUGE! really cant skip class. he offers plenty of extra credit and my final grade was 112, plenty of my peers also received more than 100 and the highest i know about is 117. really good professor who actually teaches the material. superb.
took colavito for POS2041 and i absolutely HAD to take him again. lots of readings changed my life. he gives great lectures and is very knowledgeable in the field of philosophy. he may be the best professor i will ever have and most definitely the best professor FSCJ has to offer. that makes me sad. no professor or class will ever compare to him.
He is a smart, down to Earth guy, he is both realistic and understanding. He is willing to go above and beyond to deliver a quality lecture. This class may get confusing without prior knowledge of the three major governmental branches. Do not feel discouraged to take this professor.
I would definitely take him again. He's funny and he knows his stuff. If you don't care about learning then DON'T take him. He wants you to pass, but he also wants you to get the most you can out of the class. Colavito understands that the material can be boring and that we all have different ways of learning. Very entertaining lectures.
This class was very enjoyable. The professor kept the class engaged the entire time. I would definitely select this professor again. The class is very hands-on, you will definitely not be bored. And his requests are reasonable. He requires you to respect the opinion of others, and this is important in an American Government class.
Wonderful Class!! Very engaging. The workload is reasonable. You get credit for coming to class and participating, therefore it is important to attend.
Such an amazing professor! I'm taking him again next semester. He is so inspirational and such an easy teacher. He wants you to pass and succeed. He will only give success to you. He is very patient with his students and always want to hear what they have to say. Take him!
Education: To bring out This class is an easy A, but if you take the class seriously you won't care about the A. This is a class for people who want to most out of life and is a great starting point for anyone interested in philosophy. After taking his class my perception on school has changed from a place to get a degree to a place to grow.
Colavito is an amazing professor. I was scared to take Philosophy because of the work but he makes it easy and at times his class was really fun. Pay attention, attend every class, don't slack off. This class is amazing and an easy A, but it will also give you new perspective on life and everything in it.
Great guy, really interesting and inspirational lectures. This class wasn't about learning the history of western philosophy and trying to match obscure terms to philosophers, it was about personal growth and living a life worth living. Highly recommended, I'd take him again in a heartbeat. Heavy reading, prepare to have your attention span tested
I took Colavito in Fall 2016 for POS2041 and Spring 2017 for PHI2010. I'm at UF now and I so wish that he was here with me. He literally changed my life. Take him, for whatever you need, take him. He will literally inspire you and push your mind to excel its fullest potential. I miss him; that's how great of a professor he is.
This class will change your life. I'm SO serious. Colavito is the best professor that I have ever had, and I would take him again in a heartbeat. He is inspiring, funny, and super easy on grading. He wants you to understand the concepts that he is teaching, so he will go over the reading for the quizzes with you in class. Easy A.
Attendance isn't necessary Mandatory but if you miss a lot of classes, you will be a little lost and attendance counts as extra credit. Only 5 quizzes and the final but your grade is cumulative. Loved his teaching style and he is very nice. Lots of group projects and group discussions in class.
i tell you the truth HE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR I WILL TAKE IN MY LIFETIME :D
Excellent Professor!
Dr. Colavito was amazing. He always made the class lectures exciting and he appreciates feedback/class participation. We voted on everything. Great professor!!
Best professor I've ever had!!! He is so funny and intelligent and creates an open atmosphere for discussion in the class, allowing you to bond with him and also your fellow classmates. Quizzes are easy and there are tons of opportunities for extra credit. Take his class, you won't regret it!!!
He is one of the best professors out there . There are quite a bit of reading, but its part of learning process . His teaching style is fun. Lots of discussions in class about topics assigned. He doesnt just call you out to answer, only if you raise your hand. I respect and love him. Take him youll learn.
Showing up to class is mandatory. He's very genuine, funny, and easy. I bought the textbook for this class but I never once touched it. 5 quizzes that are easy and the final is questions from the quizzes. You will have group presentations and as long as you participate in the two you have to do to receive a grade you will pass his class.
Best professor out there. Just show up and do your work and you will pass. He makes the class easy.
I absolutely love Professor Colavito and how he teaches his classes. I took his American Federal Government class and passed it. He does care about his students and he lets you know that he does want you to understand the material he teaches and doesn't want you to just come to class for a grade. I also decided to take his state & local govt class.
Professor Colavito is AMAZING! I would take him again and I would also tell other students to take him as well. He's a caring professor. If you email him he will get back with you ASAP. He tells you whats expected and he's very clear on his work assignments and he doesn't mind helping you if needed. He's very inspirational and a very wise man.
Ok here's the real deal. A professor that knows his stuff, actually really wants to teach you all that he can, willing to bend over backwards to help you any way he can and cares about his students leaving his class with a better outlook on life. Yes you will be reading a lot. I would reccomend him to everyone. He makes learning fun again.
Dr C is the best yall. I took him for PHI2010 and POS2041 and I wish he could be my professor for every class. He is probably the smartest person you'll ever encounter and a genuinely good guy. His classes are set up to help you actually learn and remember, and to use the material in your everyday life. Go to class, engage, and do the work Easy A
Simply put, one of the best professors EVER. He's genuinely funny, very knowledgeable, and has an amazing teaching style. He inspires you to learn for your own benefit, not just for a grade. He grades using a point total, so if you do enough assignments you may not even need to take the final. Lots of group projects. LOTS of textbook reading.
I took his class in 2016 so forgive me if I miss something. His classes are great. from what I remeber I used to take quizes/tests that I never studied on and passed. I took a lot of notes in class and we had a few projects. Honestly his class is super easy and fun. Easy B-A. there's no possible way to recieve lower. Like I stated, I never studied
Hes all around an amazing teacher. He wants you to know more about government and theres nothing based off memorization. quizzes are easy and as long as you pay attention you wont need to worry about studying/reading the book. 2 group projects that were easy. +5 for showing up to every class and tons of extra credit. Take his class if you can!
One of the best professors at this school! Lectures are very engaging and make you think about you as a person. He explains every concept you need to know right before taking quizzes as he wants you to know it for your own knowledge, not just for a grade. LOTS of reading.
If you are hesitant in learning PHI 2010, but decide to take Professor C. have no more fear! Pay attention during class, participate, read what is required and you will have no problem passing. Take this course if you want to actually learn the philosophy and how to develop your mind, not just write useless essays. Because he wants you to succeed!
Easy class but 90% of the work is dont during class except reading. Even if you dont read to mandatory material he going over it in class right before the weekly quizzes. Nothing is proctored so you can cheat on the test and quizzes. There are a few essays but they are more for your opinion then to get a right answer. Class is 2 1/2 hours long.
Professor C is awesome! He is super funny and engaging. Attendance isnt mandatory but you will want to go to class. Over all easy class because he really does just want you to better yourself and learn the material. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!
So I am taking this class right now, I honestly don't really understand a few things of this course itself but Prof Colavito has you not only read but does fun little things to help you gain more knowledge and understanding on American Government. Talks really fast so try to keep up but dont be afraid to ask him questions.
Professor Colavito is by far the best professor I've had to date. His lectures focus on not just memorization of the concepts of philosophy, but actually getting his students to engage and apply the concepts to every day life. His examples and short stories really help make everything stick.
Very good professor. Quizzes are somewhat easy. You must read before coming to class. He really likes when students show interest. Lots of extra credit! He knows his stuff as well. There are 2 group projects that are so easy. If you come to class without missing over 3 days, thats extra credit counted as well.
Dr. Colavito is outstanding at explaining and applying complex concepts of American Federal Government to everyday life. His class challenges you to see things from many perspectives and to critically analyze everything. The key to success is to strive for true understanding of the material, and not just to show up for credit.
Super interactive, makes sure lectures apply to real life. He is very deep and engaging. It is heavy on certain books, but he provides copies in canvas. Quizzes every now and then based off of book. Pop mini essays that are easy. Fun class activities. Take this class!!! You will not regret it! Professor Colavito is the best!
Dr. Colavito is a guy who really knows his stuff. His lectures would sometimes get off topic, but he was hilarious. He does talk very fast, and it can be hard to understand what he is talking about, but if you do the readings and listen to his lectures the class is not difficult. He will answer any questions you have before tests. Amazing guy.
Mr. Colavito was absolutely amazing. As some of the other ratings said, he does talk quite a bit, however, he is funny and personable. He always made sure to explain everything in detail, and through his life experiences. There were a few group projects but not hard at all. Make sure to read the book!
I really did enjoy this class. He made a lot of jokes and the time flew by. There was a lot of reading, and a few group assignments that had to be done outside of class. He gave extra credit if you showed up to every class, and he kept track of grades, which I liked.
Great professor! One of the most fun and easy classes I have ever taken.
This class was fun and interesting. Lots of discussions and readings, but all very interesting. The grading is based on building up points which was stressful at the beginning of the class, but trust the professor and do the work and you'll pass just fine. Professor Colavito was an amazing guy, and his class was engaging and interesting!
Engaging class with Prof. Colavito! Clear syllabus, fast paced lesson, responsive to questions, two group projects, 5 in class quizzes & 1 final quiz, and simple graded tasks. Gained new insights into government & it was a really fun class. Used Person for textbook. Highly recommend you take this class with Prof. Colavito!
This is the best professor I have ever had. He is incredibly dedicated to his students and you can tell he genuinely cares about his subject. I took him for Philosophy and Government and both classes were amazing. Everything is in the syllabus so you will know exactly what to expect each class. He is also a quick grader. Take his class guys.
I took Professor Colavito's class for American federal government and thoroughly enjoyed his class and lectures. His workload is fairly easy as long as you do it. My biggest piece of advice Is DO THE READING. It's a lot, but it benefits in the long run. A lot of his tests/assignments pertain to the assigned readings.
Amazing professor. Does not waste time and gets straight to the point. Assignments are super easy.
manages to make everything really easy to understand without dumbing anything down. always left class feeling ready good - hes a really funny guy with a lot of important stuff to say. def take him for philosophy - planning on also taking his american politics class :)
This guy really opened my eyes. He's an awesome teacher! I would take his class over and over just for the lesson learned throughout his course.
Professor Colavito's class was a blast! He's engaging, funny, and really breaks down the material. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of the readings. Using Unstuck study and ChatGPT for study prep were super helpful too.
What an amazing class. Follow the syllabus and you'll be fine. Professor also reveiwed material alot of times before giving quizzes. His lectures are awesome and the in class projects are fun and engaging. Highly recommend
I was never a huge fan of American Government. HOWEVER, Professor Colavito opened my eyes to this difficult subject. I cant believe I'm still interested in American Government. Very difficult to fail this class. You literally have to not do the work. Explains material well & effectively. Hilarious &tells stories relating to the material.
This professor was amazing. I'm already signing up for another class with him. He knew how to teach on a neutral standing even in politics. He would always make you think outside of the box and out of your views. He is willing to hold discussions about anything on topic. His outlines are mostly easy to understand. make sure to keep your syllabus!!!
GOAT. Amazing guy gives great lectures and helps you easily understand anything. Funny class examples and cool assignments, will go over chapters to be read before quizzes to help you out. Lets notes be used on midterm, workload isn't too crazy but the readings can pile up at a point but you'll be fine.
Prof. Colavito is very passionate about teaching this course. I came in ready to be bored about American Federal Government and I am in awe with how much i learned. Get ready to read ALOT in this class. Prof. Colavito is fair with grading & class is easy AS LONG AS YOU PUT IN THE WORK, pay attention and PARTICIPATE. NO PHONES/DISTRACTIONS.
He was great! He mostly does lectures and reads off files if needed but class is pretty easy. Most of the assignments are online and able to do at anytime with a clear guideline. For incoming college freshmen, it is YOUR responsibility to keep up w/ work!! Not many assignment but make sure you stay on top. Doesn't like phones. He's the GOAT tho!
My favorite professor by far, i didn't think i would be interested in the course in the start but he is a great teacher! breaks everything down and all his work is easy. doesn't grade harsh at all. quizzes are always easy esp if you study for them which you don't even need to do for long. If you manage to fail he also gives so many ec opportunities
