I took Professor L. based on his reviews on here and they were accurate. His class is a lot of work but he makes it so easy for you to learn. He provides you with EVERYTHING you need, LITERALLY, and is just a text message away if you need more help. He also offers extra throughout the course. If you have to take this course ONLY do it Professor L!

Dr. Letamendi cares a lot. He gives you half the answers to the homework in a follow a long video tutorial. The class itself is very hard but he knows this and helps you along the way by teaching and showing you how to implement formulas. The weekly work probably take 8-10 hours of homework alone and then another 5-10 to read the chapters.

I took this class online and there is a lot of work. The class is hard but if you actually read and study the content you'll be fine. Overall the professor was great when virus pandemic happened he was kind enough to push the upcoming assignments and discussion out for 2-3 weeks. FIN 3400 is one of the hardest courses I have taken at Broward College. There is a lot of homework and a lot of reading. However, Professor Letamendi is a good professor. The course was not too difficult and I never once regretted taking Professor Letamendi's class. The reading can be a little extensive, graded work was limited to short quizzes, assignments, and discussions. 10/10 would recommend. The only thing is the no-late work policy, but I had no problem getting things done in time.

I really enjoyed Professor Letamendi's class. It wasn't stressful, the workload was manageable, and I learned a lot. Although I didn't get to interact with him much, I definitely feel like he's a great person and teacher. I'm confident that I will take all that I learned within this course and always be able to apply it to everyday life.

This class was difficult but this Professor made it so much easier because he helps with the odd questions on excel so you just have to do the even numbers. I took FIn2100 online with him and the class was really easy, there is a lot of reading to do but the quizzes are open book except for 2 or 3 of them that have honorlock. The quizzes are 10 questions and sometimes he puts the answer in the question so read the WHOLE thing. No midterm or Final, and it is really easy to get in contact with him.

Professor Letamendi was very compassionate when I was experiencing personal issues during the semester. He accommodated me fairly and communicated effectively in a timely manner. As far as his teaching goes, he provides all of the necessary resources to succeed and he gives extra credit opportunities. I would definitely take his class again.

This class was pretty enjoyable. Professor Letamendi makes his expectations clear, all you have to do is follow them. Dr. Letamendi keeps the lines of communication open, provides helpful hints with time management, and is accessible outside of class. Heavy workload, but he does his best to ease the burden on the student. His videos are helpful and re-watching them helps me understand & retain course concepts.

I've taken Dr. L. for this and another course. In both instances, he makes certain to explain what's expected of you in order to pass. The feedback from homework and projects is great and he truly grades by the standard set in the class. It's not to say the classes will be easy but you will get whatever grade you really earned. I'd take him again.

It was a pleasure taking Dr. L, and quite frankly a breath of fresh air. He is one of the top 2 professors at BS, in my opinion. He loves what he does, you can tell in his lectures. His youtube homework tip videos are very helpful and I encourage you to watch all of them. There is a lot of homework but it is very manageable!

Dr. L is a fair grader and provides great feedback. He also is very responsive to his email and text messages. Only thing I would say is you can't work ahead in this class, he opens assignments one week at a time. The last week in this course, is 2 weeks' worth of work. A case study, two discussions with responses, an assignment, and a quiz.

I took this class online. He explains the examples thoroughly but the work is time-consuming. Very good teacher.

The class indeed has enough homework for a week. But if you follow the schedule that the teacher gives you in the email he sends you on Sundays; he will help you; you just have to learn to manage time. In addition, the teacher will give you the answer to almost half of the tasks, and you just have to copy his answers and complete the rest.

Though he provides a power point summary of the reading, the assessments are also based on the reading. Too much work for 1st week that was 1/2 a wk.

Easy quizzes, there is one essay that's due each week just one full paper with reference. No major projects, or proctored exams (which I love). Grades are posted within 5 days after due dates. Gives great feedback and responsive. Take the class you will pass if you submit all your work on time.

Finance (FIN3400) is a tough class, but Professor Letamendi makes it as doable as possible. No proctoring, quizzes/test are from the book (not too hard to read). This class was honestly a walk in the park as long as you read the textbook. I took the online version of this class and it had 1-5 homework assignments, 1-2 quizzes, and a discussion due every 2 weeks. There is also a project that you complete throughout the course. It seems like a lot of work, but it can really be done in 2-3 days.

This class was mandatory for my degree. I have never had an online professor be so helpful to all his students. The Excel homework is a little challenging but he makes videos going over the homework for every chapter. He has great communication and answers emails quickly. Dr. Letamendi is a great professor who understands this class can be very demanding. He provides Youtube video tutorials on the odd homework problems. He also has a lot of extra credit that can be done. Another great thing is he allows students to text him with questions. This is my second class, and I would take any class he teaches. He is AWESOME

I had taken this class another semester and did horrible. I felt extremely discouraged going into this semester. It is amazing to me the difference a caring professor has on how well students do in a course. This course is ALOT of work but he provides online youtube videos to help with the assignments and it make ALL the difference.

This professor is very understanding and very easy to reach. The workload is heavy but it's not bad with all of the extra credit he gives. Take him!!

Dr.L is very understanding and cares about the success of his students. He understands the demand of the classes he teaches and makes every effort to ensure the success of his students. The workload is a lot, however, it is broken down in chunks to make learning easy.

Professor Carl Letamendi gives you all the tools you need to pass the class. The Professor's communication with the students is excellent. Professor Letamendi feedbacks are great and very helpful. I would definitely take him again !!!.

Prof. Letamendi was very helpful, even though the class its difficult he makes sure to explain everything, he even created a series of videos showing you how to do the homework and work the problems. This class is a lot of work but his feedback and communication helped me so much passing this class. He would also help you by giving extra credit.

Had this professor for QMB2100 online, and he was amazing! My easiest course of the semester thanks to how easy-going he was, simply do your assignments and turn them in. Any class I need that he offers I will be sure to take them. Just trust me, TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! You will not regret it.

Prof. Letamendi was a very nice, down to earth seeming guy. He has clear grading criteria though I wouldn't say he's a particularly tough grader. He's very responsive to messages and emails. There is a lot of homework and many discussions though they aren't too difficult as long as you read the material.

Great experience in an online class. Can't work ahead but he provides an excellent plan of action to complete all modules timely. Do your work, read and you'll do great.

This class was great and very easy! You can definitely learn a lot in this class. There is a lot of work to do in two weeks but it is not difficult.

This professor was very nice, had a clear grading criteria and as long you did work on time you'll be fine. Overall, there is a lot of work to do including discussions, quizzes (aren't honor locked), and homework assignments but it's VERY doable.

Prof L is super helpful - makes a challenging course manageable with clear explanations and extra credit. The workload is heavy, but unstuckstudy ai and the professor's video lessons made all the difference for me.

He was a very chill professor, and I took this class during the summer, so he was even more laidback and didn't grade harshly. One thing to note is that he is a slow grader, but that could be attributed to the fact that it was a summer class. Overall, Professor Letamendi was a professor for FIN2100, and I would definitely take this professor again.

I took this fully online course in the fall as a session one. Dr. Letamendi, was nice, communicative, and the only professor rated close to five stars. The course work was through McGraw Hill; EVERYTHING was heavily loaded with work. I spent a lot of time and energy (crying) on this class, you have been WARNED.I would NOT take this course again.

He's super organized and sends reminders every week. Just a heads up: it is a lot of work. The tests are long, so make sure you clear your schedule for them, even though they aren't timed. I took this as my only class and stayed on top of things, so it's definitely doable if you don't procrastinate.
