The best online class I have ever taken! The class was very easy and worked around your schedule. The last day of school was the only deadline, anything before than was extra credit. The professor responded to e-mails right away, answering any questions. If taking this course in the future, I would advise anyone to take it with Professor Pentis.

Prof. Pentis definitely was helpful and always responded quickly to emails. I learned quite a bit in the short term session. I will be taking another of Prof. Pentis' clases in the spring semester and look forward to learning more from him.

I took Mr. Pentis Fall of '09 and loved the class. By far he has been the best online teacher that I have had. He is very good at responding to emails. You really work at your own pace. He allows you extra credit for every lesson. He is very good about reminding you when work is due. I recommend him to anyone that likes to work at their own pace.

I found my professor to be very understanding in the since he gave us time to read and understand the work, we were not pressored for deadlines, he was more interested in making sure we new the work.

Definitely take this class online! Pentis is a great teacher, he is very quick at responding to emails. Reading the textbook is a must for the class. There are four tests and they are not difficult at all. If you're going to take business law take it with Pentis, i couldn't imagine taking it with anybody else.

This teacher really lets you go at your own pace. He explains what is assignments are required and then you complete them when you can. If you complete them in a certain amount of time you get extra credit. Really helpful and easy class if you do the work!

The course instructions (syllabus) were highly organized and easy to follow. This is an online course, and although all work could be submitted on the last day, it is clear that Pentis took an active role in assisting students to finish and pass the course. Tests were challenging.

I have had many classes with Professor Carl Pentis and he is a great teacher whether it be in the class or online He gives assignments that help you remember the information you are being tought. I have learned alot about the law from him and I liked every class I have taken with him.

Very accessible.Each section of work taught vocbulary and applications of the laws in question. Each section of work reinforced the next. Online class is pretty straight forward. As long as you read everything & turn in all your assignments on time, you're good. He offers extra credit if you turn in assignments early. He makes everything except the first assignment due at the end of the semester which is cool because you can work at your own pace, but just don't wait too long!

I honestly was surprised at how much I enjoyed this class. The material was very interesting and I feel that I learned quite a bit. While there is homework, it isn't overwhelming and if you read the material, the tests are fairly easy. The professor offers quite a bit of extra credit for completing work on time so there is no reason to fail.

I took one online and one campus class. At first I was not crazy about him, but I have to say that I ended up really liking both classes and learning a lot. He's fair and if you miss an assignment, he'll work with you but you have to study what he asks and the tests require a lot but if you study you will be fine. Good teacher.

Tests are EASY just study the ANSWERS that are "cough" taught to you. Do your homework assignments, and ONE page papers, pass the EASY tests, and then you will pass. The whole class is super easy.

Definitely a professor I'd recommend! He's straightforward about what needs to be done. All assignments are based off the reading. If you read the text, you'll find the answers are literally right in front of your face. Carl frequently sends email reminders about upcoming assignments, as well as offering his personal cell number for assistance.

Lectures take up the whole class but are easy. He does not mind repeating if you missed something and gives students a chance to make up work. Overall, great teacher.

Professor Pentis is awesome. This is my second time taking one of his classes online and I passed both times with an A. He is very responsive to student's needs and wants them to pass. For Bus 18A, his instructions were clear and organized. He is also a fair grader. This is a nice class for students that are busy with work or other classes.

He enjoys good reads so, put in the extra work; give good anecdotes and hypotheticals in your study guides to show that you grasped the concept. He'll reward you if you do. Research helps

Great Professor, may give out what seems like a lot of homework, but he goes over it the next class and pulls test questions from said homework. He has a lot of knowledge to offer for someone looking to get into the logistics industry, and it helped getting practical information and examples I was able to apply directly to work.

I thought the Contract class was excellent. Great class for anyone entering into the Logistics field. Instructor was a great teacher and has passion as a lawyer and for teaching his students.

This professor is very fair as long as youre fair as a student. A lot of other students complain about him, however, he is by far the most reasonable one Ive had as long as youre willing to act like a student and do the work the way youre suppose to. School is not a joke . If you do what he asks you'll reap what you sew.

Carl is a great professor, his lectures are relative to the text, but expressed in his own experiences. I am not easily impressed, but Carl is an exceptional professor with an entertaining way of sharing his wisdom. I feel lucky to have been a part of his class.

As long as you do the readings you'll do fine. 4 discussions, 4 HW assignments, 4 tests & 1 term report at the end of the semester and gives you more than enough time to complete them. He provides feedback on your assignments as well. I learned a lot in his class.

I've had Prof. Pentis in a few classes and I like how clear and concise he is. You can always expect great feedback and ways you can improve your answers. I really enjoyed his class! I took late start BUS 86 every week you complete one discussion post, study questions and one multiple choice quiz. I took other classes and I was able to manage he is very knowledgeable and flexible. Taking again in the fall.

This prof. was probably one of the easiest profs I had while in school. I took. He gave us discussion questions, unit questions, and an exam weekly. He is not a harsh grader, if you do get marked down, he will let you know why. He grades assignments super fast and gives feedback on everything. If you have any questions, you can always reach him!

This was a late start semester course which was very fast paced. The professor was generous and accepted late work with the opportunity to still receive full credit. Pretty easy online course. Professor gives access to all work for the semester, so if you wanted to, you can complete the course early. He also gives a late period to turn in assignments. If you keep up with the work and submit by the deadlines, you will pass this class. The only issue I had was his assignment description and titles were so long.

If you're looking to pass Business 18a completely from home, Professor Pentis is your top pick. I didn't read any of the readings and did all the work at the last minute. Be prepared to set aside maybe 2-3 hours a week for this class, other than that, it's super easy. You do have to get a textbook, but it gives you the answers to everything.
