She can be disorganized and unclear at times. Exams don't seem to follow class material as much as they follow the book. Anyone who defines sympathy using the word sympathy in the definition should be avoided. The class in general is good, just not her
She goes out of her way to help students with the material which can be very difficult. The exams follow the review sheets she gives, and I've never thought her to be unclear or disorganized.
She's not a bad lecturer, but has some annoying tendencies. Has students turn in pointless surveys during lecture. She's pretty friendly though, despite her exams being SOMEWHAT inconsistent with the material - some questions are way too specific.

Enjoyed the class overall. I thought she was a pretty good prof, but I know several people who disagree. I guess it was really the material that I liked better than her, but she was decent.
The material in Social Psych was VERY easy to understand. Her lectures tend to be reviews of everything in the book, so as long as you read the book, you should be fine. The exams always had 2-3 unfair questions that were either confusing or too tricky.
I had her for the seminar called gender, the self and emotion. For a seminar, there was an insane amount of work and I do not recommend taking this class. However, she is a lovely lady and very sweet. She is eager to help and grades pretty easy.
the women is so unorganized with her assignments, and act like this is an upper level class, i just don't get it.
Prof. Grayson's is a nice woman who tries hard to make the students understand the material (which is not that hard). Hour lectures were nice because they were short and exams I found were pretty easy if you studied. Discussion kinda sucks unless you have a nice GSI. Honestly not bad overall.
Lots of work, but I loved her! She is so sweet and really wanted our class to learn... especially with adjusting to college.
She seems more interested on giving us life lessons than teaching psych. Every lecture had at least one "LISTEN TO THIS AND IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE SOME DAY!" Also way too opinionated.
Prof. Grayson is a great teacher. Yes she sometimes seems to dramatize her leactures, but it is because she is really passionate about the material. She knows what she is talking about ans it shows. This is a good class to take regardless if you are a Psych major or not.
Dr. Grayson is an awesome lady, very understanding, and is willing to accomodate to your needs, there are no tests and she just cares about you learning the information, grades very fair and easy A if you do the work
One of the easiest class at the university. Almost all common sense, with some memorization of terms, like all of psychology. She is a very boring lecturer, but she is very clear. It may not be worth going to two hour lectures though because the material is so easy anyway.
Lectures are boring but the class is really easy and not bad at all. recommended
She is really nice, and moderately interesting. She provides the slides online before the lectures, so she is easy to follow. The class as a whole is easy because she wants you to get an A.
I thought this class was going to be great, however the professors lectures were boring and unclear. she gave hard assignments that could have been easy had the assignment been clear and to make matters worse didnt undestand them herself.
By far one of my favorite professors at the university. Professor Grayson provides fun lectures and is extremely helpful. Her goal is for you to learn to material and not merely memorize it just for a grade, thus she gives you every opportunity possible to do well in her course. It was truly a joy to take her course, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.
Even easier than psych 111 since Grayson gives you an outline of what's on the exam a week before you take it. I got an A without reading a single page of the textbook. Try to get Nick Bowman as your GSI he's AMAZING!
Well, I got an A-. This class won't drive you insane, it's "easy" in the sense that the prof. doesn't try to trick u, gives an outline and the info. is fascinating. There is actually a lot of info., so it's a good thing that we have an outline. You do & should use the book. I don't know how anyone can get an A without reading the text.
Easy class, never read the book. Go to lecture and you barely have to study for the exams. Work load was light (three short papers) and three exams with an optional final.
She is very engaging and makes 2 hours go by rather quickly. If you go to lecture, you will only need to skim through the book because most of the questions on her exams are based heavily on the lectures and specific studies explained in class. Also, her final exam gives you a chance to make up all three exams and the quiz and is much easier.
Dr. Grayson is really nice and truly wants to see her students succeed. In her seminar, there were no exams and everything was straight forward and easy to understand. She is laid back and tries to make the course interesting!
The seminar was really fun, she made everything easy to understand. No one ever read the books and she could obviously tell but she was cool with that. There is no exam just a final project, but she helps a lot with it, so it isn't too hard.
Dr. Grayson is an excellent teacher. She tries to get all of her students engaged in discussion and makes the classroom very non-intimidating. There are no exams, only weekly reading journals - very easy, not even necessary to read, and a final project - which she is very helpful with. This is a great class and a great professor - easy A.
Professor was compassionate and warm. Supplementary course material was very interesting but in-class presentation and discussion was superficial.
I guess I just didn't like her style of teaching. 280 is a two hour lecture full of little demonstrations and participation activities that remind me of middle school. I took this class because I loved psych 111, but I was pretty disappointed. It's easy though, just boring and pretty pointless.
Professor Grayson was nice and seemed concerned about her students. The tests were really confusing though and covered very random/small things which we did not discuss in class. Lectures were also confusing and rushed.
Very good professor. It is a very laid back class and is interesting. The readings can get a bit annoying (you have to do reading journals once a week to make sure you read the stuff) but she grades very easily.
This class was hard! The lectures were random facts that were confusing and unnecessary. But the discussion sections were the worst! Social Psychology is an interesting topic but Grayson sucks up all the life out of it! However, she does show funny videos in class. Also the Exams were also very hard! My advice: STUDY STUDY STUDY!
the tests are easy overall, since the average is high B and people taking this class are not the brightest people. But beware that, papers take up high percentage of class and it's not easy getting an A. If you do well on your paper you got a good shot at A+.
She spends all of lecture telling little anecdotes, showing videos, and making up demonstrations. I finally realized that these things are meant to distract us from the fact that she doesn't know how to actually lecture on anything of substance. This class was pretty pointless.
She tries to be funny but is not really. I don't think this class is as easy as everyone says. Must memorize details from the book... 2 hour lectures become very long... and discussion is 50% of your grade.
FABULOUS course! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an interesting course. When I signed up for the course, I did not know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Grayson is extremely dedicated to her teaching and her students, and you can tell that she truly cares. Not difficult, no tests, weekly journal and one project, INTERESTING!
This class is awesome. The material is really interesting and applies to every aspect of life. A 2 hour long lecture went by fairly quickly...I'd definitely recommend this class to anyone.
i am a psych major and this was my fifth psych class at u of m. it was the hardest one i have taken, yet not that hard. my first exam i got a c bc i assumed it would be much easier than it was. my second and final i got a's. can do optional final to replace a previous exam to assist grade. lecture is poitless. study from the book.
This class was pretty boring and uninteresting. Professor Grayson is ok though. She seems very lively in lecture but I went to office hours she was kind of stand-offish.The GSI's are good too.I think the 2 hour lectures and discussions were just very long and very boring.Read the book thouroughly and take good notes in lecture to do well on tests.
Amazing class. Everything was interesting and definitely applicable to life. Prof. Grayson is really upbeat and funny during class and explains things pretty clearly. But half of your grade is determined by the GSI, so make sure you get a good one!
Prof Grayson is nice, approachable, and funny at times. Interesting material, but the 2 hour lecture and discussion were horrible and painful. Also the tests aren't easy, need to study both lectures and book.
Not my favorite professor. She is easy, we didn't have any quizzes or exams. She likes to tell jokes (there not funny). I can tell she likes what she does. However, she seems unorganized to me. I lost interest in psych while with her. She tried to fail me over a paper. But if you like pysch take it.
I honestly LOVE psych, this class made me hate it. Some lectures were pointless because some exams came entirely from the book but others had a mix. The GSI you have really determines if you will do will since 49% of your grade is a discussion in which you have two papers and participation.
I liked her a lot. I found her to be really funny and knowledgeable. She uses the word "fabulous" a lot (not necessarily a bad thing). The gsis determine 50% of your grade- this sucks. I aced every exam but had a terrible gsi- who from what I'm told is no longer allowed to instruct bc of the complaints against him- and so had my grade knocked down
A little bit scattered at times; nice person, will help outside of class if needed.
She was ok. There were 2 exams with multiple choice and short answer q's. She did not give an outline of what to study from the book, but there were questions from the book, articles and lectures. Optional final was offered. A lot of people did bad on the 2nd exam. Pretty boring class though...I was glad to be done.
Really nice, but a little unorganzied. This class was an easy A as long as you do reading journals. She keeps things interesting with speakers and disucssions. Great seminar, I recommend it if you think you're intereted in psych.
Carla Grayson is quite scatterbrained and sometimes she just seems disinterested in the material. This class is not necessarily hard, but it does require that you do some thorough combing through the textbook to know bolded words and key experiments by heart.
Classes were easy. You could just skim the reading and be totally fine. Grayson is a super caring teacher. Good class overall!
Dr. Grayson is a decent professor who you can tell has a passion for what she does. Lectures though are pretty boring, and the exams are not the easiest. Not horrible, not great, but you average professor.
Really not all that good, or all that bad. She's very unorganized, and I feel the class would be more effective with supplementary exam reviews, less scattered exam outlines, etc. She just seems to lack care for teaching a lot of the time, and has trouble distinguishing clearly between theories.
her class was awful. her exams were ridiculously hard (and super irrelevant to her lectures AND the book readings) and her class was so boring. attendance is mandatory, but she posts her slides and lectures online.
Seriously the easiest class ever. If you do not get an A then it's because you didn't put in effort. she gives study guides before every exam and if you do those you will get A's on every test. I took like a half hour every couple days reading the chapter, then doing the exam study guides and I am going to end with close to 100% in the class
She is AWESOME. Easy and interesting course. Her study guides are really helpful for the tests and she is approachable. Take Psych 111 with Dr.G and you'll get an A.
Easy Class. Attend Lecture and do the study guides for the exams and you are going to get an A!
Lectures are extremely boring and pointless but you have to attend because participation is counted towards your grade with the iClicker. Exams are pretty much all from the textbook. Study the study guides and you'll get a good grade. There are a few questions on the exams that are verbatim what she said in lecture.
2 exams, 1 optional final. replaces other exam if higher grde. i clicker used for attendance. gsi grades papers worth ~30%. gives study guide before exam tht covers majority tested material. no laptops allowed in lecture. interesting material and clips were shown, she is casual and makes the class interesting, but 2 hour lectures can feel long.
i wrote the psych 240 review, thats for psych 280... but 2 exams, 1 optional final to replace test if higher grade. GSI determines around 30% of grade between papers and participation. i clickers used for attendance. uses movie clips, relatively interesting, gives study guides. 2 hr lecture and discussion can feel long. printable slides for notes
Dr. Grayson is a very nice person an the class is pretty easy. Just make sure you read the textbook and go to lecture.
She was my favorite professor! Easy to understand, fun material, and she's funny too. There were review worksheets for each exam and she lets you retake a previous exam for the final. Love love love her! I want to take another class with her as my prof.
I loved Grayson's policy for the exams. She allows you to retake them (as a final) as a chance to improve your grade. I didn't end up taking the final, but it definitely made me less stressed around exam time, knowing I had another chance if I did poorly. Just do the study guides and keep up on your readings!
Dr. Grayson is really funny, and tries to keep everyone involved. Her exam policy is really nice, because you have an optional final exam to make up a bad previous exam score
Professor Grayson's lectures were clear and interesting. She is approachable and seems to care about her students.
This semester she included papers which made her class a bit harder. My GSI was not all great but Grayson's lecture were really entertaining. I clicker questions so always attend class.
Overall, a pretty good teacher, always show up for class because there are i-clicker quizzes, which are pretty easy if you stay on top of the reading, you definitely use the book a lot. Not exactly a stroll through the park, but if you put forth a good effort, not too hard to get an A. And retake policy on final is nice, but the final is harder
The class isn't very difficult. If you go over the material a day or so before the exam you'll do well. She's a really sweet person and really seems to care about all of her students. She covers the material fairly well and gives you a very helpful study guide.
Seems like a nice woman and is an okay professor. She had a hard time staying on track and utilizing the hour long lecture for the more important topics. The i>clicker quizes might take up half an hour because she can't keep the class from talking and not paying attention. That said, she is sweet and tries to be helpful. Overall good!
Lecture was boring, and it seemed like we hardly covered anything even though we had an hour. She seemed nice, but not the greatest teacher. The class is pretty easy, but there is a lot of reading. I was disappointed with this class. Oh well, what do you expect for a huge intro level class at a big university?
funny, entertaining, shows a lot of video clips to break up lecture, lecture kind of useless never paid attention or did the readings but as long as you know the review sheet inside and out before each exam, you will surely done fine and get at least a B. three multiple choice exams with short answer, 1 paper, and pop quizzes in section not bad
Dr. Grayson was awesome. I had her for Social Psych. The class is quite fair, and the study guides for exams are clear. No trick questions or anything. Everything is straight forward. My GSI was great, too. Take this class if you need Psych
Dr. Grayson was nice and I enjoyed her sense of humor. However, I disagree with the other Psych 280 comment. I found the study guide to be somewhat ambiguous and a few of the exam questions were poorly worded. Even so, it was an interesting and easy class!
very nice woman, although a little disorganized sometimes. goes off on weird tangents but has interesting material! this first year seminar with her was basically an easy A. no tests or anything.
Attendance is taken with iClickers so be sure to be there. Class can get boring, but she provides great examples. GSIs grade very easily.
I currently have a B in the course and I'm happy with that considering how bad of a professor she is. Horrible lecturer is putting it mildly and she isn't much help outside of class.
Dr. Grayson is great! She genuinely cares about how her students are doing and works hard to give real-world examples of concepts we cover in class. I found that following her advice and suggestions for how to succeed in the course to be on point. My advice: finish your subject pool requirement ASAP and know the study guides and you'll be fine.
Grayson is really great! She gives really clear examples and her lectures are typically interactive. She is a laid back prof and if you go to talk to her in office hours, she does what she can to help you get the grade you want to achieve. Not a lot of work except for reading the book, which has long chapters and chapter quizzes.
Wonderful woman, very lively, energetic, and loves what she does. She isn't the easiest of the psych 111 profs, but she's by far the best. And her class is by no means "hard". Ps. She randomly likes to throw pictures of cute animals and babies in her slides just for fun :) loved her and her class!
Wow, an amazing teacher. She is very lively and likes to get the class involved. You can tell she is very interested in what she does and it is hard to fall asleep in her classes because everything is so interesting!
VERY DISORGANIZED! Lecture was boring and dry. Her tests were awful; they were all student made q's and many answers were wrong so questions had to be removed. Was very politically opinionated which was irritating at times. Also the textbook was terrible! One positive, very easy class.
Carla is a doll. She loves teaching, and loves this seminar. It is purely discussion based, with no tests and easy grades. She is a little disorganized and unclear at times, but a must take if you need an easy and fun class. I looked forward to going to class, and made friends in the class.
Dr. Grayson isn't my favorite professor. She kind of has an attitude but can be funny at times. She often rushes through information during lecture but if you throughly fill out the study guide for the exams you'll do fine.
Professor Grayson is passionate about certain topics in the course material, but not is boring when it comes to others. Her lectures were rather worthless (but iclicker attendance). She gives some bad examples in lecture but is very nice and helpful in office hours.
AWFUL. She does include baby and animal pictures in her slides but honestly,I'd rather be learning. The only reason I go is for iclicker points. You actually don't learn ANYTHING during lecture. She messed up the grades not once, but THREE times.I would expect this from a new teacher, not someone who's been doing it for a while. Horrible curriculum.
I did not enjoy lecture, but simply came because iClickers were used. If you study from the book, you can do well on exams. Her exams are mostly multiple choice and some fill in the blank, but a couple of questions were tricky and she always has people complain/request regrades. It's hard to get an A but easy to get a B. Annoying online quizzes.
She literally just reads off of her slides. I have learned absolutely nothing and I felt like the GSI explained things better than she did. If you want an intro-feel psych class, take this course. But take org psych over this if you pick between the two
She reads directly from the lecture slides, and doesn't explain anything. Most of the time I couldn't even hear her over her class. You get to watch her and the GSI's scramble for a half hour to set up for each exam. So unorganized. Didn't learn a thing. Don't take this class if you're interested in psychology.
Very decent professor who taught the concepts very well and was willing to do anything she could to help further success of students. The material covered was interesting and the grading wasn't too bad.
Winter 2014 course was structured around 2 exams and 2 papers. Exams are textbook-heavy but a reasonable portion of the material comes solely from lectures. She is friendly and responsive in lecture. Her demeanor in office hours is less so, but not to the point of concern. GSIs controlled paper and discussion grades, which was ~45% of the course.
Easy B, not so easy A. Grade somewhat depends on your GSI, mine was awful. Read book, doesn't matter if you go to lecture
Grayson is a very nice person. Every one is very enthusiastic about Schrier, but if you can't get into her class then take it with Grayson. She does tend to read off of the slides but if you put in the work and fill out the review study guides for the exams it is an easy A. You learn in discussion as well and the papers are very easy and clearcut.
She is slightly unorganized; however, it is possible to get an A. If you complete all the journals and participate. If you are looking for a class without hard criteria this is the perfect class to take.
Easy B, Difficult A
Prof. Grayson is what you would expect from a psych teacher. She is super friendly and enthusiastic. She is really quite understanding of students and possible conflicts. If you go to class and read the textbook when assigned to, you will do just fine. Easy A-, gotta put in some work for that A though.
The class was purely discussion based, so make sure to participate a lot. There are no exams and pretty much just weekly reading journals and a group project at the end. The class is a total breeze until the group project, but as long as you put enough work in, it's an easy A.
A lot of people skip her lectures, but you shouldn't because if it's not mentioned in her lecture, then it most likely won't be covered on the test. If you do the review guides and go to lecture and supplement a little with the book you should be fine, just hope you get a good GSI. Cute video breaks. Don't buy the book, just use the online one
This class was stupid. She wasn't helpful and would confuse herself when trying to answer students' questions. She read right off the slides posted online, and we ended up just watching cat videos for a good part of the lecture.
This was the worst class I have ever taken! Grayson is nice, but she has no business teaching an upper level psych class. She could NEVER answer any of the questions students posed. She was unorganized and dishonest about what the class would entail--super boring, unrelated lectures! Not helpful, learned nothing. Do NOT recommend!
Dr. Grayson reminds me of a lunch mom back in elementary school. She just has that persona. Like, if you leave your trash at a table, she'll come over and condescendingly say "Honey, you left something at your table." But she did cancel lecture one time because of Yom Kippur so that was cool.
Dr. Grayson is a good professor, but not for this class. I have her for a first-year seminar in psychology, and her knowledge in that class is endless. However, for this class, she only reads off the slides, and the amount of information she expects us to learn for the exams is ridiculous. Would recommend psych 112 instead or psych 111 with Schreer
I really had no trouble at all in psych 111 with Dr Grayson. She covers almost all the material for the tests in lecture, so it really helps to go to class. If you put the work in, pretty easy A. Prepare yourself, cat videos will be watched.
Professor Grayson teaches class very well and the material is interesting yet straightforward. There are many tools available to you to enhance your learning due to online work and lecture slides. Grayson lightens the mood and gives examples to cement learning. Lecture videos are funny and help break up the lecture. Overall, very good class.
She's a very nice person with a good personality, and loves to show random, perhaps irrelevant videos, mainly of cats.. Though I enjoyed the cat videos, her lectures were not helpful for me. Her powerpoints for the most part were just vocab straight from the textbook, and she tended to read straight off her slides. Read the textbook.
Don't believe that this is a blow off class. There is an immense amount of reading, and lectures/section are just repeats the material. I attended every class, and this still ended up being the class I had to put the most effort into. The tests have weird questions (and even if you know the material, the question can be too confusing to answer)
Do. Not. Take. This. Class. Exams don't make sense-they seldom reflect the material an are worded in an odd and silly manner. Be prepared to take 10 minute Jimmy Kimmel video breaks when you have 20 mins left of class and 10 slides to cover. OH! And don't ask questions unless you've fully prepared yourself for the worlds most asinine response.
Honestly, the class isn't that bad. Study the slides and you'll do fine. It's not the easiest A that you can earn here, but you'll be fine. Don't put too much energy in to studying the book since she picks out the important parts for you. Take this class and actually go to lecture.
Grayson is a great teacher for intro to psychology, a great class entering freshman year. If you read the textbook and show up to the lectures, the class is as easy as an A gets at Michigan. Two papers which can be graded tough depending on the GSI. Would take if an option.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH DR. GRAYSON. DO NOTTTTTTT. I came to Michigan with an intense passion for Psych and she killed that. Worst class I've ever taken.
Dr. Grayson is a little bit dull. If you are looking for a 3 credit, easy, and relatively interesting course, then take this class. There are no tests and there are a few group projects. As long as you participate in class and are thoughtful with the few assignments she gives, success is almost guaranteed. Don't expect to learn much though.
This teacher drones on, reads directly off lecture slides, constantly expresses her ill-informed political beliefs, and apparently has an unreasonable fear of inanimate objects. Pointless class, incredibly easy A, hardest part is putting up with her bigotry
I never took a psych class before Michigan but I was interested so I thought I'd give it a shot, apparently I chose the wrong professor. Long reading lists that often dont matter at all. Boring lectures that dont flow naturally. Tests focus on random points barely discussed.
Be prepared to do a lot of independent studying. The lecture are confusing and lack fluidity in the structure. Her iClicker questions are often not clear and confusing.
Unliked by many for her confusing lectures but do the textbook reading ahead of class and go to office hours to clear up and misconceptions. Not hard to get an A.
made interesting material boring. She really messed up the midterm, to the point of having to curve it substantially in order to compensate for timing issues she created. I found the material very interesting, but preferred to learn it before exams rather than by attending the long, dry lectures.
Writes the most awful exam questions. We would go over exam questions in class and people in class would disprove every option, and she would say, "yeah you guys are right, I can't even write an objectively correct question. I quit." She's a very nice lady and all but she needs to refine her material and exam writing skills.
I learned more from my GSI. Her lecture style is informal, but it makes it much harder to understand the material. I found the textbook to be much more helpful than anything she said in class, and you end up watching a lot of barely relevant youtube videos in class. Pretty meh, felt like a waste of time
I found GSI discussions and reading the book more enjoyable/easier than going to her lectures. Lectures were very dry; she doesn't seem to have much variation in the way she speaks. The writing assignments were tedious, and I don't feel they taught me much. Start studying at least 3-5 days in advance, the class is easy but not that easy. Lots of EC
Not very clear exam questions, but compensates afterwards. Lectures are pretty boring and I found it easier to just read the textbook. Basically a bunch of definitions.
PSYCH 280 was an average class. Expect to complete three writing assignments that are relatively easy if you can connect the psych terms correctly. There are two exams--both during lecture time--that are largely based on what is said/covered in class. Although the concepts may not be difficult the wording can be confusing. Easy B/B+; Moderate A/A-.
Social psych is supposed to be interesting, but she ruined it for us! She is a terrible professor, and she made her first exam necessarily long, which was quite ridiculous. Most students didn't even have time to process anything- didn't test knowing the material, but instead tested ability to finish a test quickly. Do not take a class with her!
Professor Grayson is very intelligent, and knows her stuff, but she has trouble explaining specific topics, coming up with clear examples, and answering students' questions. She is available after class to help anyone who is struggling with material, but she is simply not the best teacher.
Lectures are kind of a mess and she gets frazzled easily. Her examples aren't very clear and her iclicker questions are often debated by students. Writing assignments can be annoying because the prompts are vague. Exams are pretty easy and straight forward if you go over the definitions and examples she includes in the review sheet.
Dr. Grayson was a decent prof but struggled to explain difficult concepts clearly. She also wrote horrible i clicker questions. Tests were difficult make sure you study adequately and look for practice exams online. The writing assignments were fine as long as you used the psych terms correctly. PS: the first writing assignment is on Course Hero(;
Dr. Grayson is one of those professors that seems to simply read directly off of her powerpoint. For me, going to class didn't give me any exceptional information that I hadn't gotten from the readings. On top of that, she moves along at a pace faster than my liking when it comes to the slides.
Grayson is obviously intelligent but a sub-par teacher. There are a plethora of identical technical difficulties every class (not exaggerating) which gets in the way of her lesson. Boring lectures because it is the exact same material out of the book. Seems to be lost in her own Powerpoints at times. My advice, take the other professor in Psych 280
Carla is a pretty good professor - her lectures are entertaining, the topic is extremely fascinating, and she cares for her students. I would recommend her above other psychology professors.
Lectures are boring and slow paced, material is pretty simple but she often confuses herself while explaining it. Take this course if you want an easy A, not a lot of work and only two exams, non cumulative. You don't have to pay attention in lecture so you can just do other homework if you decide to go. Never read the book and only skimmed slides.
She's a terrible professor, but this class is so easy. The exams are the most ambiguous pieces of trash ever, but you can sift your way through the garbage to get to the answer. She can not answer questions and her examples are never clear, but the material is incredibly easy to learn on your own when you are studying. Don't read the book.
Nice lady but often confuses herself in lecture and seems incapable of answering straightforward questions. Her test questions don't make sense and conflict with other material you learn in class. You are almost better off not asking questions, tuning out in class and learning the material on your own. You'll be less confused. Take someone else.
Dr. Grayson is passionate and caring. The Social Psychology she taught is interesting, applicable to real life and easy to understand, but only if you pay attention to lectures and complete homework accordingly.
Not a great professor, basically just read off of the slides. The book was way more interesting than her lectures so I stopped attending them. My GSI was a much better lecturer than she was, and the material itself was very interesting, but I wouldn't recommend taking a class with Dr. Grayson
