AWESOME TEACHER!! Dr. East is an amazing professor with hilarious stories. She makes it very clear how she wants the papers done and she gives you all of the test questions/answers through a PP show. I wish she taught other psych classes.

Dr. East is a great professor I would recommend her to anyone. She has a great outlook on life and is easy to talk to. She's funny and smart and gives the answers to the tests through power points. I like her so much I am taking her next semester.

Dr. Diva is the best professor I've ever had. Just by attending her first class I knew that her class would be my favorite. She is not only hysterically funny but the first time she called on me for roll she decided to call me "Smiley" because I'm always smiling which made me really feel like she connects with her students on a personal level!

If you want constant comedy routines, this class is for you. If you want someone who actually teaches you something, try another class. Follow instructions (tells you what is on each exam) and it's an easy A, if that is what you want. Not challenging. Don't buy text,use library's copy.

Good elective course to be in, especially for those interested in anything Psychology-related. Dr. East is very funny, and attractive. Hands down rawest teacher to grace Gibbs campus. She's a role model for many because she knows the struggle and alot of her students can relate to her and the way she teaches. Professor East AKA Dr. Diva makes her class really interesting. Tests are kind of hard but very easy if you study. She also gives a lot of extra credit work to help you with bad test grades. There is one paper due and it's not graded harshly as long as it's in the correct APA format and you use the right sources. You will actually learn a lot.

It's really easy to get an A just do all your assignments on time and do what she asks it's not rocket science. Also when she goes over power points make sure you read the $ in the book too don't just go off power points.

Funny and blunt but she does her job pretty well.I didn't do so great for the exams but did okay on the rest of the work and got an "A".Read the BOOK! The slides help a little but you'll need to thoroughly read the texts for the test.Just do the work, and DO NOT PROCRASTINATE ON THE READINGS!

However, she's not a push over, she expects you to be attentive and prepared to think beyond the normal because it's ok to do so. 4 tests no final or midterms. Some HW yes but very obtainable. Dr. East is by far the best Prof. at SPC. She has a passion for what she teaches and is more than willing to help you. I have taken her for Gen Phy, Dev Phy, and will be taking her for Abnormal shes just that good. She has a great sense of humor and keeps the class laughing. Loved Professor East, she is an amazing teacher. If you do all of the reading and research you will pass no problem. 4 exams whole semister, and 1 fairly large paper. other than that just disussion boards and questionaires. Best teacher ever!!!!!!!!!!

Tough tests but as long as you read the book and follow the signs you should be able to pass. Make sure you follow her every instruction and you should be fine in her class. If you need anything else, she's really there for you. And for her presentation at the end, just make sure you take her notes on what to include for your area.

Took her online class. Homework load is very heavy but doable. Exams are timed & hard: 50 min50 questions, mostly scenarios. I almost bombed the 1st exam, but did great on the last 3. You must read the chapters and understand the concepts, take effective notes & review the powerpoints, RELIGIOUSLY. This is not an easy A, you must work for it.

This class is essential to FSU's teacher education degrees if you are going there. Turn in the work at the correct word count without many mistakes and get a 100%. 4 tests straight from the pp. Get the international ed of book for $25 for the discussions. Bookstore charges $200. 200 word discussion post and two sentence reply weekly unless a test.

Took class online. Made mistake of not really preparing for first test as it was open book - bad decision. Make sure to answer chapter study guide questions and READ THE BOOK! If you are prepared, you'll do great! Assignments were actually fun, about one or two a week. Tests timed, make sure to study! Great professor! Great class!

I took her for both PSY 1012 and DEP 2004. Always do the work she gives you on time. If you don't do that then make sure to get 100s each test, you can probably pass from that, but its really hard to get 100s in her class. Try getting her copies of the book assigned to your class to have a better advantage towards her $$. Heavy load sometimes.

I really liked her class. No extra credit offered, 4 open book exams (no midterm or final), and lots of discussions and assignments. Stay on top of the work! Easy grader, but the tests weigh the most and are hard at the beginning. The discussionsassignments are not hard, but you have to complete 2-3 every week. You can get an A if you put in work!

Dr. East is my absolute favorite professor ever. She is witty, sarcastic, down to earth and hilarious. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She knows her stuff and makes psychology fun. I'll be taking her developmental psych class just as an elective because she was such an awesome teacher.

Don't just read the Dollar sign, Refer back to the specific paragraph in text book and read the whole thing, That's the main reason for my drop in one letter grade. You'll be glad that you took her course from day 1.

If you have a chance to take a class by her and you don't, you're wrong. Simple as that. APA format and you'll get good grades on the assignments with an obvious understanding of course material. Online course. Always responsive to e-mails if there are any questions at all. Very helpful.

I took three of her classes, one online and two on campus. There are four exams, you do have to study in order to pass, but she also offers plenty of opportunity for easy points. She is very funny and made my semester fun. Her powerpoints indicate the exam material, but you will need to review the material in the book for any extra information.

I really learn more about myself and my family with this class. I can really apply the practices i learn and would definitely recommend everyone take this class. There was a great deal of papers, however they were papers that made you think.

Mrs East is a pretty cool professor. Funny, down to earth, cusses a lot, easy going. Toughest test is the first one. She allows one note card filled front and back for all tests. I advise that you type up all the $$ signs that she gives in class, print them out in 5 font and you'll be able to fit everything you need.

Super funny and makes class seem to go by quickly with the fun stories she tells. Super helpful and willing to answer and questions you have. You watch a few videos and answer questions (in complete sentences) and take a few tests that you allowed to have a notecard for.

Not a hard professor at all. Do the work, study the $$, prepare for the tests. Don't set yourself up for failure. Her class is a lot of work but if you get it all done, it's impossible to end with anything less than a B. Also, attend class. She gives out a grade for attendance, so thats an easy A. If you're having a problem talk to her after class.

SHE IS THE BEST!! The lectures are amazing and she is hilarious! We had a group project we got the whole semester to do and only 4 tests with no midterm or final. I really enjoyed going to this class and looked forward to it actually. She is a prime example of a successful woman and makes you consider a psychology career! Take her class!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed Dr. Easts class and I would definitely recommend her to anybody taking any psych class. She made her lectures really enjoyable and easy to understand with real-world examples and classroom discussions. Her exams arent easy if you dont really know the material. They arent bad if you do study what she tells you to though!

This was a very easy online class! The format was really easy to follow, just a discussion or two or a video to answer q's about due every Sunday and only one essay to write. Professor East provides the textbook for you online as well!

She honestly has NO filter and loves to constantly express her opinion. The class tho isnt hard, you take notes on the powerpoints and answer a discussion weekly, as well as 3 exams and a 3 page paper. There is a small amount of reading but she tells you exactly what it is at the end of certain pwrpoints. But even if you dont, you still can pass.

I took this class online and I find it pretty easy as long as you do your work and follow the direction. There is a test for every module and the test is pretty easy. With discussion it's not hard at all there is no words limit. This class was very organized, I would definitely take it again.

Dr. East was an amazing professor for me this semester! She is so helpful and caring, always responds to emails, and is always willing to talk after class or scheduling for office hours. The classwork was very structured and never was too hard to complete on time each week. I never write reviews on this website, but she was incredible!!
