This guy is great. Makes computers fun and loves to joke around. If you bring cookies to class and are there for most lectures, you will get an A.
Do your work, but have fun doing it. He has lots of jokes and loves to party!!

The funniest man to ever grace the face of the earth.
This guy's great. Funny and smart: the best ingredients for a professor.
Very easy class...took me very little time to actually complete the assignments. The rest of the time I would just play around on the internet or simply leave. The teacher is friendly, easy going, and pretty funny. Easy A.
I have come to learn that Mr. Aguilar's passion for the class he teaches far outways the difficulty one may have in understanding him.
I was in his online course and there was a lot of work to do that wasn't necessarily hard, just time consuming, but you have to do it.
very nice and very understanding. Took his online class and missed a few tests and he would let me make them up no sweat, without even taking points off.
Great Professor. Online course. Professor is easy going and will work with you. If you have a lot of classes and not much time he is the perfect professor.

took his class online, was alot of busy work and the group project is a pain but when you get stuck he is very helpful.
AWFUL TEACHER!!!! I COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND HIS DIRECTIONS, HE NEVER REPLIES TO EMAILS, AND HE HAS SUCH A STRONG ACCENT, ITS HARD TO COMPREHEND WHAT HE IS SAYING
He tries to help students but his advice usually gets lots in his enthusiasum for the subject and therefore the students suffer as well for it because they are not clear on what he wants in his assigned projects.
Very caring instructor; some communication barriers but if you asked questions, he was very good to explain them. One of the hardest working, caring professors I've had - very upbeat and positive.
Works well with students. Tries really hard to get them to focus on course.
The online class he "taught" was excruciating. For much of the class, he was slow to answer e-mail for help, and when he finally answered, he didn't seem to understand the question. If he did seem to get the gist of the question, his answer was confusing. Based on this class, I hope I remember to never sign up for another online class again!
Nice Guy!
Not recommended: He has poor teaching skills. You must learn and memorize the book -- TONS of busy work. Teacher is very bias and ****. He is not open to other people's opinion unless it parallels his own. He is very friendly, but comes out very insulting.
Very heppful and fun class. If we didn't have to do so much paper work and more assignments it would be better. But I know we need to know and learn the terminology.
Nice guy. Very helpful and fun. Likes to give lots of advice. Knows his subject and more. He does not waste time. Loves cookies.
He was a good teacher.
Mr. Aguilar is a very friendly, welcoming professor. He tries very hard to make the course material informative; interesting; applicable; useful; etc. He is very willing to work with his students and help them achieve their goals.
he is a good teacher very helpful and full of info.likes food
I think this professor needs to stick with working with computers. He seems to understand them better. He does not get back with you anytime soon no matter what the importance is. Would definitely suggest taking someone else.
He seemed completely overwhelmed by the amount of students he had. Otherwise, he is a talented, knows his stuff, and really does care about his students.
This was a great class with a great teacher! LOVES HIS JOB! Responds to all assignment questions in a quick manner. Has an accent, however easy to understand...Take him, you will learn alot about the world of computers! Participate in class or online discussions are a +
This is a great teacher!!! He is so helpful that even when you want to get in touch with him and don't find him, he'll phone you back and arrange to meet you, sometimes even in another campus or he says you can attend his face to face class. He cares about his students' learning and has a great methodology. One of the best in this college!!!
he is hillarious, he loves technology, and really has a passion for it. he can be hard to understand sometimes, because he rambles but he does give you help when you need it, and knows pretty much everything there is to know about computers. he is a very good teacher for the subject, his tests are hard if you don't read the book though.
Dont know why he earns a paycheck. He's more intent on discussing personal lives or current events than actually teaching anything remotely related to computers. I think I've been more help at times to other students than he has, even with my limited/mediocre computer background. Without the computer simulations he is nothing - HE NEVER TEACHES!
Mr. Aguilar really cared about his students, and wanted them to not just memorize concepts, but understand them. He was also very patient, kind, and seemed to want the opinions of his students. Mr. Aguilar is a great professor. I hope I can take a class with him as my professor again. Whenever I had trouble he would always help me any way he could.
Mr.Aguilar is too awesome. He is funny and really knows his stuff when it comes to teaching. Had him for COSC 1401. If you show up, and make an effort in class, he will do what he can to help you pass. His class is pretty ez for the most part, and he's always there to help.
He is very understanding and will definitely work with you if you put your best effort. Very funny during class
HE IS JUST SIMPLY "AWESOME!" YOU WILL LEARN ALOT IN THIS CLASS THAT WILL OPEN ALOT OF DOORS FOR YOU IN YOUR CAREER AND CONTINUING EDUCATION. HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING ON PERSONAL PROBLEMS, HE IS ALWAYS READY TO ASSIST U IN ANY WAY. IF YOU DONT TAKE HIM YOU WILL BE MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE! HE IS SIMPLY THE "BEST"!!!! LOVE THIS CLASS! PAOLA
Ok, if you actually keep caught up in his class and stay focused, the class will be easy and fun, but if not, and I learned this the hard way, it's not. He's a funny and awesome teacher.
Always made himself available,it was an online class. Required a lot of us but this enabled us to push ourselves to do our very best. Great teacher with lots of patience.
An outstanding teacher and a really nice person too. Very helpful and outgoing. Open to suggestions and comments of all types. Loves food and music. I will definately take more classes with Professor Aguilar. Great Job!
Amazing professor. Highly recommend his class. Mr. Aguila is very interesting to listen to and is very interested in his students and their goals. Responds immeditately to all emails or phone messages. A+++ Prof!
Amazing Professor! Highly recommend his class. Not only are his lectures interesting, his knowlege base is vast (and he is funny!)He show great interest in his students and their goals. Is always available to assist and responds immediately to all requests for assistance. An A++++ Professor!
In the start of the semester(fall 2009) I did not know what to expect and I thought it was going to be a boring class; however, Mr. Aguilar made it fun and interesting. He is very passionate about what he teaches and wants to share that passion with his students. He is not like other professors I had, he is funny, likable and extremely helpful!
The Best Teacher I have ever came across he compliments my wrinkled shirts and nice shirts every time I walk in, trust me when you step foot in that class you wouldn't reconsider dropping it! He is the best, brings donuts to class! Takes us out on field trips! Helpful with the information he teaches, if you're looking forward for an Easy A SIGN UP
He is an AWESOME TEACHER! he is very easy going you only have to do your homework and study for his tests and you will do just fine! his tests are easy and not a lot of homework but do the one he gives out Very helpful He will work with you to get a higher grade Very understanding. TAKE him! I got an A and it gave me lots of time to do other classe
Mr. Aguilar is a great professor. He is very candid and makes the class interesting. No boring monotone lectures here! If you do the work, you will do well in his class. One thing I really liked was how he talked about career opportunities with the students. I made and A
Online course. One of the best professors I have ever had. Smart, funny and very creative. He is very encouraging, supportive and understanding. If you do the work, you will do well. I found the projects to be very challenging, but always fun. What I love about him the most is that he makes you think outside the box.
A friend told me to take Mr. Aguilar's class and I am so glad she did! He is the best professor I have taken at Tomball. He is interested in his subject (which is obvious) but also in his students' learning. His class is practical and hands on. If you have a problem, he understands, but he also makes you work hard. You'll love his classes!
Very Helpful. This an on-line class that I took over 5 weeks. It was a lot work but I learned a lot.
Prof Aguilar is a great teacher. I just finished the 5 week summer term with him online. It was A LOT of work but if you made the effort you got the grade! He is very helpful and quick to respond with grades and email!
I took this class online during one of the summer semesters and found it pretty easy, but it was hard to keep up with due dates. Things weren't organized all that clearly, so you do have to make sure you keep track of when tests, etc. are due, because they just kinda disappear from the website without much warning.
Great teacher (enthusiastic, professional, personable and flexible) and course. Stick to assignment & schedule sheet & be on time. Use of PhotoStory 3 not necessary, functions are within Power Point & better.
It was fun studying with my professor, and i really learned alot in this class!!
He is a great professor! Do all the work and projects and you will pass with an A! Very helpful and understanding.
Very sweet, easy going guy. The subject is boring but you learn a lot about things you THOUGHT you knew. Do all the work, study appropriately and you're guaranteed an A.
I absolutely LOVE Professor Aguilar, he is a great guy and a great teacher. In this class you definitely have to do the work, but you will learn so much and it is worth it. I would take this class again or any class he teaches in a heartbeat!
Hilarious guy, always positive. Shows real concern for student's performance and will work with you if you are slipping or missing assignments. There is a lot of required assignments and the tests are somewhat difficult. One of best teachers you'll ever have!
i really enjoyed this class. prof aguilar is funny and keep u interested in the subject. class does require work. if you do all of your assigment you will be able to get an A in class
Effective, very knowledgeful, and very active teacher. He will help you out, if you express your trouble in the class, and wants all of his students to be successful. (You just have to want to do well and put in effort.) The tests can be difficult if you do not study. However, this class is good for students with any level of PC experience.
Great teacher, VERY helpful, VERY nice, Lots of work, difficult tests, have to read and do exercises but you learn SO much. On-line class deadlines were confusing but he was ALWAYS there to help clarify things. Loves to teach and wants to help students at any cost! Wish more professors were like him! You have to study to get a good grade.
Online class. He was very helpful when I was confused by something. It was alot of work in this class but he is a great teacher!
I had no desire AT ALL to take this class and only took it because it is required. The thing is,if you have a great professor that is passionate about your education and wisdom,it makes ALL the difference in the WORLD.This was not just a computer class, but a life-altering class.Very fast summer session and everything is clear. Crystal. TY. C.P.
Excellent professor! He is passionate about technology and knows his stuff! He has an open door policy and believe me, it is ALWAYS open. He wants you to be successful in your academic future. Course content is intense, but you will walk away with more knowledge and ability to perform numerous tasks. He also challenges you on an intellectual basis.
I learned alot in Mr.Aguilar's class. He was funny and very helpfull. There's alot of typing and practice but it's very necessary in order to pass the class. I would take him again.
He is really funny and extremely helpful i would definately recommend him.
I learned a lot from taking this class, I never knew there was so much to learn about a computer. For someone who knows little about computers i came out making an "A". I took it online and I admit at times it was difficult. It's a lot of work, but he is an awesome instructor. If you need help he is always willing to help and has a lot of patience.
I would recommend you take this class. Professor Aguilar answers your questions with his own wit and he is very informative and is always encouraging to call or come see him in his office if you need help with something. He is positive. I got behind, but he was encouraging and I passed the course. The class is easy because of him.
This class was probably the most informative class I have had the pleasure of taking. I hated the many discussions however I learned significantly more from them than most of my other classes. I loved this class so much that I even posted a comment on this site-something I have never done before. I definetly recommend taking this course.
Amazing professor. I had a tough semester due to personal reasons, and he worked with me through every step of the way. Very knowledgeable, and you can learn a lot from him other than class material. Definitely recommend you all take him. You won't regret it!
Took this class online in the summer session. There is definitely a lot of work, but if you apply yourself, it is very doable. If I take anymore computer classes, I will definitely seek this professor out again!
At first I was not so sure about taking a class online, but this professor made it easy. He posts a weekly note on Sunday with all the updates one needs to know. He is always available in his office for questions and you can visit him and he helps you out. Also he participates in discussions, something most professors don't do. Highly recommended!
I wasn't sure going into this class...prof seems a bit scattered and sometimes its difficult to figure out what is due when, but prof is helpful if you are confused or get behind. Very accomodating!
Good teacher. Cares about the student's success.
I thought he was a good teacher until couples days before the final. I missed a test in November since I was at my cousin's funeral. The next day at class he tells me I should never miss class but he would let me make it up at the end of semester.Semester ends,I asked him what chapter did I miss he tells me "dude you have to find that out." Stupid
The curriculum was really complicated to me but the teacher made it easier. Helpful anytime I had a question. Always in a happy mood. Very accessible. He sets specific deadlines that are given to you before the course even starts. It's hard to miss a deadline because you get plenty of time to turn things in. Work hard and you'll get a good grade.
Mr. Aguilar is laid back,FUNNY, will help you with any issue & gives you the chance to make up missed work. Attendance not strict but very beneficial. DO THE DISCUSSION QUES they add up.
Mr. Aguilar is amazing. I pretty much enjoyed the crap out of that class and did some learning while I was at it. Seriously, if you are getting into computers for the first time, or have wanted to solidify your understanding of computers, this is the guy to take comp sci from.
Mr. Aguilar was a very good teacher. He is there to help you no matter what! Test are exactly like the practice quizzes. Just make sure you do all the other assignments such as discussion questions and assignments. Overall very good class! Easy A if you work at it!
I expected the class to be easy, but it was quite challenging. Mr. A was a great help though, he will help you as long as you ask. The textbook is online, so you don't need to bring anything to his class except a USB. All in all, just listen to him and it'll be an easy class.
I took this class online, because I had to. I had no interest in it prior (and in fact, I was dreading it). I learned SO much! It was not easy by a long shot. But very worthwhile. I had a lot of personal issues this semester, but he stuck it out with me and I got a B. If you do his work timely, you'll get an A, and he will help you if you ask.
Mr. Aguilar was awesome! He is very helpful when you need it. His class was easy as long as you paid attention and did your work. He is a laid back and very funny professor.
This class was super easy and I got a well deserved A in the class. I also learned a great deal about computers.
He is a realy great teacher. he is very helpfull and you will pass with an A if you do all his work. His lectures are consistent with current events and I enjoyed that.
I enjoyed the professionalism that Mr. Aguilar gave me. He's a very helpfull professor and he's committed to his work and making sure that you understand the work. He woould always answer his email. I enjoyed being in his online class. I only wish he could teach other subjects.I would definitely recommend him to any students!
Carlos is a nice teacher!! He is funny and very knowledgeable!! He loves to teach and he will help you with anything!! I would defiantly recommend this teacher for intro to computers!!
good teacher, but he goes to fast which isnt the problem, but you cant understand him sometimes. and i passed everything with a's and b's and got a C in his class, dont know why...
The secret to his class is take the online quizzes as many times as you can and you will pass with an "A" He is funny and a very nice guy. Just do the work assigned and ask for help if you need it. Great class especially if you need help with computers
He can't communicate well with students, and is really lazy. He should help the student and not encourage them to drop out of his class.
Mr. A can be VERY confusing. REALLY pay attention to him in class because he can be quick. Be prepared to work a lot. He likes to assign a lot of work. Avoid this class if you can't handle a large work load. His class is not easy. His "help" is telling you to do the work, not really instructions on how to do it.
Confusing, rude, hard to understand, and vague. Avoid if you can't work with that.
Mr.Aguilar is a good professor. He is straight forward and funny, I enjoyed this class even though I do not care for the subject. This class was easy, he did assign homework every week but it never took more than an hour to complete, he does through reviews and there are plenty of opportunities with practice quizzes and reviews before the tests.
He is a great teacher if you want to study. He is so confused if you want to get an A without working. 15 discussion which are so interesting. 7 exams which are so easy if you practice before taking them. 7 assignments which are so easy, follow the instructions in the book. And a project which is so helpful to your major. Recommended!
Great teacher! He definitely has a passion to see people not only do well in his class but to be changed and better equiped to handle the world in which we live. The course isn't hard but there is plenty of work. Be preapred to be busy yet having fun while doing so. This class has definitely been one of my favorites because of how applicable it is.
Excellent professor:) A lot of work to do and can be fast paced at times but it is worth it b/c you learn a lot about computers and also about controversial current issues that affects your life and opinions. He engages you to participate and talk with classmates to learn and grow as a person. I love this class. Take it now!
I really enjoyed this course because the professor made it enjoyable. You get to learn a lot of useful information and the Professor makes it fun. If you need to take this course I would definitely recommend taking this professor!!
Great instructor! At first I had a hard time understanding his instructions, however, he responds quickly to emails and encourages phone calls or stopping by his office for extra help and explanations. A lot of work at times but a satisfying and enjoyable course. I loved this class!
I took this class bc I needed the credit. Beginning, was confusing, but ask questions then things are clear. He is super nice&understanding if you keep in contact with him. He is always willing to help. 7 test, but are fairly easy if you go to class. 12 interesting discussions. Everything due every sat. midnight. Loved his class. TAKE HIM! Got an A
I was upset I had to take a computer class, but after the 1st day Prof. Aguilar changed my mind. I learned so much. I'm so thankful I met him. Do your work in class and you won't have much to do for hw. Waste your time in class, then your problem. This is a fair class. Some advice do your quizes as many times as possible. I passed with an A!
Really enjoyed taking his class! He is very kind and cares a lot about his students. He wants you to pass and learn a lot but of course, he requires students to do their part, by participating in his class. Very wise and truly motivates one to succeed. Take him! You wont regret.
What an incredible professor! He is VERY fair and really cares about you learning the material! Attendance is mandatory if you want to pass. The work may seem overwhelming but as long as you GO TO CLASS and ask questions, you will understand and do great! I can't say enough about him! The best professor at LoneStar Tomball..hands down!!!
This is a great class to take very much information about computing. The Professor Aguilar is very nice, sweet,& kind. He is there when u need him if u need to meet up with him and he will answer ur email quick. Its alot of work.and activities to do but he gives u a specific date to do each module. I loved it. Just do whats told and u will pass.
Professor Aguilar is super helpful. He did everything in his power to make sure I made a good grade(B). It is a lot of work and I knew that before taking this class but be prepared. He knew every answer to all my questions as I worried a lot but he got back to me very quickly whether through emails or phone calls. Office is always open as well.
Great professor. Enjoyed the class and he is pretty funny. Passionate about computers and technology. This class is a lot of work, but if you are organized and do exactly as he says you can make an A. Tests come from practice quizes for the most part.
He is a very good professor but u have to do the quizzes to pass his tests. I enjoyed his class although he can be a little annoying at times but overall a good teacher and class.
Great professor, I had him this last spring. he's always in a good mood. He constantly makes jokes in class to brighten your mood, and will teach you a ton of stuff that's pretty interesting relating to what is going on in the world. He gives practice quiz's with most of the test material so study that along with the class notes and A+ easy.
Loved this class. You HAVE to take the quizzes and come to class to pass. Do all the work he assigns and pay attention. He's a great teacher and will help you if you need it. Keep organized. He's awesome :)
The professor did not help me at all. Every question I asked he would criticize me and tell me I need to read his notes. I thought being a professor he would help me when it was needed but that was not his prerogative. I hope he eventually learns his role in being a college professor, TO TEACH!
He was very helpful. Anytime I had a question, he would answer it and provide suggestions to do things differently. His instructions were not always clear but after talking checking with him in person I got the concept.
He was very UNCLEAR. He expected you to know how to function with minimal direction. When you ask him a question, he will criticize you and tell you to look through the past notes. The material was easy enough to "learn," but there was a lot to keep up with. Good luck communicating with him if you take this class.
Very Passionate, albeit sometimes in unrelated matters. Discussion board was over current events rather than computing. He is rather encouraging towards students. The class itself is very tedious and virtually self taught. Not sure how great of a teacher he actually is but the easy class allows for this. TL:DR Class is easy so teacher doesnt matter
I took Professor Aguilar's class online. I was surprised how quickly he answered my phone call's, as well as my emails. At times I would get confused about homework, and he would always answer my questions with clarity. This made everything so much easier for me. We need more Professors like Professor Aguilar who care about their students.
Great teacher! He really cares about his students and technology. Yes the class is a lot of work, but it is mainly just busy work. But overall a very easy going teacher, doesn't require you to do the quizzes and book reading, it is simply for your benefit, which is great for a busy college student. Test aren't hard if you do the quizzes and listen.
cool teacher. Easy to pass the semester. all you do is take the quiz and study the review which is online and the test is the same as the review. a lot of work but cool enough. he is funny
Quite a bit of work, but it is not hard. I learned much more than I expected to. Professor Aguilar has very realistic expectations and is great at communicating with the class(which I sometimes find lacking in online classes)
This class seemed really useless to take when I signed up for it, but it was a requirement so I figured I would just endure it for the semester and be done with it. Professor Aguilar made it really simple and I actually learned a lot of new cool info about Microsoft and computers! I am so glad that I took this class! Taking it online was great!
Loved the class. expectations are set at the start and there was great communication.fast turn around with emails and always available during office hours.learned only regret is that i did not buy an actual book, would have been a great tool in the future-got a B because I did not ask for help with Access and did not read last chapter
He was alright. Seemed like a bunch of pointless work.
Professor Aguilar is an excellent teacher, any questions sent to him via email get answered almost immediately. He lets you know what your grades are after every test and how you are doing in the class. He is very encouraging and engaging and does not want his students to fail. He is a great professor to take for this class.
He pretty awesome. If you show up and do the work 100% is won't be that hard. But on the test I encourage you to TAKE THE QUIZZES FOR MORE THEN 5 TIMES!! Trust me its worth it.
great teacher summer classes is alot of work but its easy!!! must take!
"How do we learn?: Through Senses" Is the only quote I will remember from this amazing professor. If you're passionate about learning Computer Science, then this class is highly recommended before taking any other class. Also will highly recommend this professor, if you are on time with assignments and read textbook. (mostly can access online)
This has been my favorite teacher ever. He plays around a lot and is really funny, i really enjoyed the class alot he makes it fun. This class isnt hard at all, except you must do the work, but he gives you plenty of time to get it done. Hes very smart and holds alot of knowledge that he always wants to share and its interesting!
He was one of the best teachers I've had. He really wanted everyone to pass and make good grades. He strives for us to work hard and do the best we can.
I took this class online, COSC1301, and I have to say it was a breeze, the professor is more than willing to work with you and help you any way he can. Outline and schedule is easy to follow, just keep up with assignments and you will do great.
He is a great guy, glad I took the class and learned a lot. I recommend Mr. Aguilar to anyone looking for a fun and exciting class.
The only bad thing I could say about Mr. Aguilar would be that he encourages good English grammar and usage, but fails to utilize this himself. Other than this he was a very helpful instructor and whenever I had a problem, I knew within a day I would hear back from him with a response. This course was no problem and one that I thoroughly enjoyed!
Professor Aguilar was an exceptional professor. We had some difficulties due to using new software, but he adjusted grades accordingly so we didn't get lower grades due to the circumstances. Really enjoyed his class and would recommend.
Class is well planned from beginning to end. Follows the book by chapter, so there isn't any jumping around from one thing to another. One week of learning, then one week of using those new skills. Repeat. Brings greater clarity to real world scenarios. Tests are not difficult if you complete study guides. Would definitely take this class again.
I really enjoyed taking his class, would for sure take again! not hard grader at all easy A if you go to class and do your work
He is not very clear; tests are very tough.
Great teacher! He replies to e-mails quickly, answers questions, and encourages students. There were only two projects and they were quit fun. I have already recommended him to several fellow students and you should take him as well. I have learned a lot just from doing the weekly assignments from the book.
Amazing professor. He was very helpful throughout the entire semester.
I'm the type of person who sits in the back of the class and tends to procrastinate a lot. His exams are easy he will give you both the review and the answers to the review. All you have to do is memorize the question and the answers to them. Even if you study for a few hours a day like I did you'll do fine. He will also open your mind a bit more.
This guy is an amazing professor! He's motivating, descriptive, humorous, and willing to help. He'll work you though. He won't just assign basic textbook homework. He'll challenge you throughout the course with real-world problems. He has an excellent style in teaching. He may seem a little fast at the start but if your diligent, you'll adapt!
Carlos Aguilar is a tough professor, however he helps to the best of his abilities when he can. One thing you must know about Carlos, is that he hates the word NICE!
Great Prof! But this class takes up a lot of your time! So much studying and do the sam paths and quizzes non stop. Tests are tough but he is there for you to help with your grade.
Great teacher! If you wanna learn about Design Communication this is your class! It is not an easy class and you are expected to deliver on deadlines. Carlos is great, motivating and what I specially like is that he wants you to THINK. Life is not multiple choice questions!
As a consistent 4.0 student who loves computers, I expected the class to be fun. His online class, however, had me in tears more than once. The content itself was not difficult, but many instructions were unclear and contradicting. He said to come into his office for help and don't email or call, but there's a reason people have to take it online.
This online course was very time consuming. Assignments are easy, but involves a lot of steps to complete it. The syllabus got confusing because it would change from his directions. When you have technical difficulties, he understands and doesn't count it against your grade. Not a tough grader on assignmentsproject. Be prepared&focus on exams!!!
Amazing teacher. Will be there for you and help you out whenever you need it. Very good at getting back with you on emails.
Carlos is by no means a good teacher, but from what I've heard of the other options in the department, he's your best choice. Highly disorganized, doesn't know when his own assignments are due, and very unclear in his grading criteria, assigns a ton of busywork. The only reason I went to class was to get the assignments. Also he's pretty unhelpful.
Mr. Aguilar has to be one of the most unorganized teachers I've ever met. It's very hard to understand what exactly he is wanting you to do. The only way to know is to keep up with your schedule he provides you. There are lots of tests (mostly easy), 1 major project, and in-class / homework.
I found the class extremely challenging because I have not had much experience with computers. Mr. Aguilar is very easy to communicate with. Be consistent, do the work and ask questions. As long as you do that, you will have no problems earning a good grade . He is willing to help and responds quickly when emailed.
He is a exceptional professor! i am not a computer person but managed to pass with a C because of Him!Hard class but amazing professor
This class will help you understand the introduction to computers. Do your assignments, test, and study will be an easy grade. Semester will be over before you know it.
Professor Aguilar has been great. He responds quickly (within 24 hrs) to emails. He gives great feedback on graded assignments. He also is very easy going, friendly and helpful. You can tell that he does care about his students.
This class is awesome and very well informative. Everything is online so if you can't ever make it to class just look online, just make sure to get some answers for keynotes from a classmate. He also sends weekly notes of what is expected. There is a lot of work to be done but you can do it. I had such a great semester with Professor Aguilar!
He has a Spanish accent so for some it might be hard to understand his lectures. But if you have any questions, he'll try to be quick to answer them, through e-mail or face-to-face. Just make sure you buy the book because it is MANDATORY!!!!!
Professor Aguilar is such a nice person he would help you if you have any questions. There is a LOT of labs to do and you must do them if you expect to pass the class. test are long but do the assigned questions and you will pass.. i recommend him is a great guy and nice but he won't give you an A if you don't work for it. i would take him again.
Great teacher that loves his subject and gets you interested. As long as you talk to him he will help you in anyway he can. If you turn in something wrong or incomplete he will let you fix it. Gives good feedback.
Took his online class for design communications. Gave fun projects with plenty of time to complete them, he sends out weekly emails notifying you of what is due, when and what time. It you turn it in early and there is something wrong or missing, he will contact you and give you a chance to fix it. Willing to help if you ask him.
Great professor. His assignments were a bit demanding at first, but his intentions are good. You can tell he is passionate about the material he teaches and wants you to be well informed about what it means to be a graphic designer. Would definitely take another one of his courses. He offers clear and constructive feedback on all assignments.
He did a great teaching job, I had him for both an online and in-person class. Regularly checks his emails and responses quickly. Always willing to help and give pointers. Book is a must and make sure you do discussion questions. Over all he has been a great instructor and i have learned a lot. Wish he taught more classes in this category.
I've become more confident in computers because of Mr. Aguilar. He does not make computer learning intimidating ( Which some teachers do...). Not only does he explain things well, he gives students multiple chances to increase their HW grades. He also takes a philosophical approach to computers during discussions ( I believe they're interesting)
He's a really cool guy. I've never really been computer savvy but Professor Aguilar made it less intimidating. He is very intelligent and likes to connect computers to philosophy and current events. Its really eye opening, not just about computers but about whats happening in the world. He's helpful in the projects and labs.
Mr. Aguilar is an amazing professor, he helps you out whenever you're having difficulty understanding something, he teaches you more about the world, and I have learned much more about computers because of him.
Carlos Aguilar was an outstanding professor. Not only was he accessible outside of class, he responded emails promptly and organized open labs to work on projects today. However, if you don't do the work, don't expect to pass the class. Fortunately, he makes the lessons easier to learn.
Carlos is one of the best teachers I've had! He wants you to do well and will help you when you need it. His was one of the only classes I have ever looked forward to. he encourages participation and is overall an awesome professor.
If you've taken online classes, it is easy. The material is online, so I can't imagine this being difficult for anyone. I did NOT do the semester project, but it sounds easy: get in touch with an interviewer, document your interview. Your MLA paper is pretty much your powerpoint, record your voice and your partners' and turn it into a movie.
If you know anything about Ps, this class is super simple. He's a bit disorganized (calendar/syllabus/emails don't always match up), but he's always happy to answer questions, so clearing things up is easy. Assignments aren't hard lots of small projects, short forums based on Google searches, and not too much reading. I missed a test & made a B.
Professor Aguilar is very passionate about his assignments and projects, but his expectations were a bit high for an online class. He is not lenient and although he encourages you to contact him if you have questions, his answers are not direct. If you like to ask a lot of questions, I suggest taking his course in person.
Mr. Aguilar is very easy going, he works with you on assignments and pretty much if you get it done relatively timely he'll give full credit so long as the effort shows. He's responsive to all questions and communicates well, and gives decent feedback. Definitely recommend him.
Professor Aguilar is an extremely passionate and friendly person, and you can tell he loves what he does. He wanted to see the success of all his students and cared about our feedback. He wants to make sure you understand everything and will give you full credit if he sees you put effort into your work. I absolutely recommend him.
Honestly he was the most disorganized professor I have ever taken. I took his classes online and his e-mails were obviously copy/paste from 2014. Don't count on him to respond to questions about projects promptly, he waited 5 DAYS to get back to me just to tell me to do it over again. Test questions referred to images that weren't even there.
He is a good professor I will recommend him, just little problems I faced were the syllabus it was hard to understand what he wants. I took his class in summer soi was definitely prepared to do hard work just a little bit confused with the syllabus. he does reply on time and if you have confusion or stuck in the problem he is definitely helping you
MR. AGUILAR PROVIDED A DETAILED OUTLINE OF WHAT WAS EXPECTED WEEK BY WEEK. AS A DISTANCE LEARNING CLASS, IT WAS MOST USEFUL WHEN PLANNING MY WEEK AS I WORK FULL-TIME.
The class is inspiring as you actually get to learn a lot and he is willing to assist without belittling or getting tired of your questions. A learning adventure I would be willing to retake with Mr. Aguilar on any other upcoming courses. Mucho Gracias Caballero.
Took this class online and was very easy to get an A. Just do your quizzes every week and finish the final project. Exams are fairly easy as well. Not a hard class to pass at all!
I really enjoyed this class. I learned a lot about Photoshop and the like. There is something for everyone as far as the class assignments go. I really liked Prof. Aguilar. He gave great feedback and it is obvious that he cares about the success of his students. I would seek him out for future courses.
Professor Aguilar has become one of my favorite professors at lone star. You really have to TRY to fail his class. He answers emails promptly and is always wiling to help his students outside of class which I liked a lot. Only assignment that I found time consuming was the semester project but once you start the project is so easy and actually fun.
He is a great professor! He cares about the design projects you do and actually takes time to give feedback. He wants to see you try, and you do have to study.
A good instructor that will explain the material in an effective way and will take the extra time if you are struggling. A difficult class which is good as many instructors do not put the effort to make the class worth taking. Learned more than most classes I've taken so far.
Way too much work for an "intro to computer" class. Biggest mistake I've ever made. These other reviews are either inaccurate or they're coming from computer science majors. This class was not easy and the workload is very demanding. You can't be a full time student and take this class.
Fine Class. Mr. Aguilar was responsive to requests. If you are "in" for the class, he will be "in" for help when you need it.
Mr. Aguilar is a wonderful person, even do I only took him online but you could tell his wiliness to help. He always responded to my questions/emails promptly and received great feedback on my assignments. This can be an easy course if you apply yourself and you turn things on time. Look forward to taking a course offered by Mr. Aguilar again.
Great man He understands that you got stuff going on in your life and works deals with turning in assignments late, and I mean very late. very inspirational, friendly, & laid back. book is Definitely required or just do what i did and take a picture of every single page from my friends book, thank you Le. very time consuming but it beats paying
As an online student who usually gets lost in the files and the online readings, I felt like I was supplied everything for me to do well. And If I had any questions he was open and kind in his office hours.
I just finished his class. Even though I passed I would NOT do it again. Take this class if you only if you are taking one class at a time.
He let you turn in things late.
He teaches you the top things that you need to know how to do. He helps you when you ask.
He's ready and able to work with you when you have questions or issues. Communication is key! DO YOUR WORK! Each week you learn something new and that goes to benefit you later in the semester. He is strong on presentation and how your work looks! There are no right or wrong projects, whatever you do it's your art and he loves seeing new things (:
Professor Aguilar is a great teacher and person. He goes out of his way to assist you and respects his students ideas. As long as you do your work you'll get an A for sure!
He will give you projects without having all the information you need with not enough time. He is kind, but very unorganized and don't expect a question answered in an email.
Challenges you, yet he is always available to assist you.
Some of the projects were not clear when they were first given but we all worked together to ask questions and got clear responses from professor along with good examples.
He meets & exceeds the necessary requirements of an efficient professor because he shows a number of teaching aptitudes & skills that facilitates student learning & displays attitudes that encourage learning & real human relationships. I especially like the way he teaches when he encourages us to be creative. His courses are genuinely interesting.
I took an online class with him and all was well. He gives good feedback in a timely manner and is fairly understanding and willing to work with students. So as long as you're willing to actually do the classwork and put forth some effort you should be fine with him.
This professor was the worst professor I've had out of the 3 years I have been going to LoneStar!!!He give no helpful feedback and no help! Worst professor EVER!!! Do Not Use Him!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed taking Mr. Aguilar's class this summer. One of the reasons that I really liked him was because if you emailed him, he would email you back. I also like that he gave amazing feedback. He actually took the time to give feedback on most of the assignments.
I took two classes online with Mr. Aguilar. He is been very supportive and a wonderful guide. He answer all my questions and provide great learning tools and activities. I enjoyed working in each project and activity.
Carlos Aguilar was a great professor for this online class. Even though it was completely online, he was able to communicate and respond through email. You will need the book for some chapters. This class has a lot of work but being an online class, you should expect a lot of work. Carlos Aguilar was able to provide the best online learning. :)
Great class. He made himself available for his online students and pushed us to be more creative and to work with each other to gain inspiration. Very helpful and would love to take another course with him.
He was clear about deadlines and project specifications. He was accessible by email and phone even though it was an online class. He grades quickly, so you're always aware of how you're performing in class. He gives detailed feedback, as well. The projects he had us work on were very interesting. And he's caring. He wants his students to succeed.
Professor Carlos does his best to be inspirational, one can misinterpret his motivation has something negative, but he means well and if you give him the chance he is a great educator and you can learn many things from him if you apply yourself. I would definitely recommend choosing Professor Carlos Aguilar as your professor.
Honestly, Aguilar is an AMAZING professor. He is very kind and patience with the students. I took him in 14-weeks of class, but It was easy. If you do the work on time, you will pass with an easy A. He will helps you a lot in everything because he is always there for you. I enjoyed this class so much. I recommend him 100%.
i had him as a online 14 week course time frame hes super good at replaying to your questions grading is very fair thought out I would take him again in a heart beat. he does remind you about when stuff is due that really matter for the grade. there are a lot of discussion questions that you will have to stay on top of, very relaxing class over all
Had a great time in his class. He was real helpful and insightful. If I require another class and he teaches it I'll gladly take his course.
Prof. Aguilar is one of those professors that really care about you and your future, it sounds corny but I dont think I've ever experienced a professor quite like this one. He's in touch with the students need and the future of our world, he isn't here for the paycheck he is here for you. I would take his class again in a heartbeat!
I enjoyed being in this class. Professor Aguilar was an excellent professor and he helps out his students about what assignments you are missing or turning in your work on time. He also likes to help other people if they don't understand something or if they don't know what the question is talking about. I would recommend taking this class again.
Professor Aguilar is more than a professor, he is a phenomenal coach who makes himself available to ensure the success of all his students. He is a caring mentor that quickly responds to questions or concerns even outside of traditional classroom hours. Professor Aguilar's customized teaching methods are first rate.
Professor Aguilar is one of the few professors that actually cares for his students. As long as he sees that you are putting effort into his class and to pass he will always help you, he will not turn his back on you. Always reliable and I am forever grateful for what he taught about the real world.
good professor
I took ITSC 1301 for the summer course and It was an experience. There are 7 units and the 8th unit is your Final. However every Unit as 2-3 discussion that are mandatory and you must reply to at least 2 classmates. You also have to purchase C engage which is used as you laboratory. This class is a lot work but if you do the work you'll pass.
Very nice man. Willing to help students anyway he can. Very encouraging and a good communicator. Fair grader. Be prepared for an extraordinary amount of work -participation, homework, projects... Difficult to take this course at the same time as another. Would not advise taking over Christmas or summer. Needs to be stretched out a full 16 weeks.
Professor Aguilar has a gift for teaching. He loves being an instructor and respects his students. If you're on the fence about taking Intro to Computers, I highly recommend you take his class. I liked that I could do the homework while still in class. I would do the practice quizzes a few times and get consistent A's. Very reasonable workload.
I had him for fall 2019, he is good, there is a lot of work to do in this class, but he will help you to pass his class.
Professor Aguilar is a great teacher because he has years of experience! He answers questions FAST and give feedback and advice whenever you ask. When he grades, he is through and lets you know how to improve your work or what to implement for future work. I like that he reminds you on upcoming assignments or test, so it's not a total surprise!
I am taking his online class, I cannot even count how many times I have had to email him, for a computer teacher all of the problems were technical. His orientation slides were not even his, his schedule was all the wrong dates, his D2L was awfully organized, his email responses didn't even answer my question half the time. It was just frustrating.
He replies back to your email in a timely manner and he always ask if you need any assistance. These are good qualities because I haven't been in school since 1988.
Excellent communication, very easy to contact outside of class. Very flexible and understanding throughout the semester. Very detailed on assignment instructions.
The second I see professor Aguilar teaching a required course, I become ecstatic. He is one of the most compassionate people I've encountered. The care he puts towards his students is unmatched and he will do his best to work with you. Weekly deadlines come with his weekly reminders as well as detailed feedback.
Professor Aguilar really worked with me and the entire class and was very lenient especially during the global pandemic semester. He made sure he was readily available to answer any questions and gave us plenty of time to focus on our projects and prepare for our exams.
This is a good class to take, although I would've started with the windows activities first and then study chapters for the last portion of the semester. Other than that, this class is worth your while.
Mr. Aguilar was very helpful, I started off the semester rocky and he helped me get back on track. The class is tough and he is diligent at giving feedback and letting you know where you stand and where and how you can get to where you need to be.
Professor Aguilar was awesome! Intro to Computers is a great class, very informative. Teaches you all you need to know about computers.
Interesting and useful course. Reasonable exams and grading. The 5 week summer course setup for the D2L course site was a bit confusing as some of the items in place under assignments and quizzes were only accurate for the regular class; however the professor provided weekly emails that helped clear things up.
I really enjoyed this class. It was a summer sessions so it was compacted but valuable. Prof Aguilar is very attentive to his students. I would gladly take any class from him again. He even calmed me down when I was stressing about a assignment, true value and respect. Thank you Prof. Aguilar!!!
Really great teacher. Even though I was taking an accelerated online course he made everyone in the class feel connected. He always immediately answered my emails and kept us informed about when assignments were due.
Mr. Aguilar was a great professor. I took his intro to computers class this summer and the curriculum was streamlined very well. Given the circumstances of Covid19 this was an online class so all of the assignments were given either thru D2L or SIMnet. He replies to emails promptly and the weekly assignments have very clear instructions.
Professor Carlos was amazing, quick response to the emails. Always ready to help students. It was online class but I never have any difficulty to reach out to professor Carlos. I recommend taking him. Send reminder every week what is due for the week that really help me to stay organized.
One on my favorite professors this semester. I thought he was going to be a tough one but he was my favorite.
Gave me good advice, and values sharing ideas with fellow designers feels like the real thing.
Professor Aguilar helps you understand the criteria and is very patient. He answered my emails very quickly and gave me the needed information. He focuses on the student learning and growing in their work so that they will have the skills to apply to a job. I would highly recommend taking a class with Mr. Aguilar.
The class is easy and the professor means well, but the content is really poor. I learned from YouTube. I can tell that Professor Aguilar has no real experience as a professional designer. If you want a grade, take him if you want to learn take someone else
Felt like a filler course and a waste of time and money.
Great teacher, but make sure you study before test and understand the information that is given. on quizzes and test the time is very short and some of the directions might be little difficult to understand.
Prof. Aguilar succeeded in teaching me and out of state, online non-computer literate student to have a user friendly view of computer technology. He was patient and fully available to guide me through difficult phases of this course. He shared timely cultural and historical insights and connected it to the importance of technology.
Professor Aguilar is amazing, he is very caring and always puts his students first. This professor makes sure his students understand the lectures, he answers to all emails and returns calls quickly. I highly recommend this professor, the work is easy if you pay attention and the projects are really fun. This class is worth taking more than once !!
Mr. Aguilar is the best teacher because he cares about his students learning the work and growing in their skills. He answers emails rather quickly and most of all he is patient with your questions. He allows online students to email each other for feedback on projects. I would recommend taking his class and would do so again if I could.
Professor Carlos is a great teacher. Always read emails and reply quickly. In addition, it offers very successful ideas that help to complement the projects. It offers many resources and reference examples that help enrich your projects. The projects he suggests are very current and enriching. I highly recommend him.
He is an awesome teacher !!!! I would take him again if i had too.
It was a summer fast paced course. There were often contradictions in what he said during weekly notes. Making it difficult to understand what exactly were required activities vs just extra practice. Other than that, great teacher. Responsive, and there to help. If you take summer courses, be prepared to focus on this course.
Professor Carlos Aguilar is a very passionate, inspirational, and grounded person. I was truly comfortable with taking his class because of the necessary feedback he was giving on assignments, quizzes and exams. He was very stern but understanding. I appreciated his tenacity and proven dedication to education.
The only way you won't get an A is if you skipped assignments, like I did. While his class was easy I felt there were a lot of useless assignments. The discussion posts/final were NOT about computers/Microsoft office at all. It was mostly politics. If you can look beyond that then the class is easy. He answers emails quickly and is available often.
Professor Aguilar is a great teacher that I would recommend if you want to learn the right way and learn the technical language. Mr. Aguilar is very passionate about his class and he is always willing to help. The class does not have a very high level of complexity but I would like to recommend following the class daily and being curious.
Professor Aguilar really cares about what he does and his students. He is so passionate about the projects and what you have to present. His class is pretty easy if you just put in some work and the tests are extremely easy. I learnt a lot in his class and got to do a lot of fun things that helped me with my graphic design career path.
Mr. Aguilar cares about people to learn to be ready for the outside world. I took a computer class with him, and I learned how to use a computer fast with the technics that he has for people to learn. At the same time people learn in the class about politics which I loved about this class because it opens your mind for the world, we live in.
A solid professor choice whom you can learn a lot from. A couple of challenges are harder if you can't take a class in person. The week's deadline cuts off on Saturday instead of Sunday, and no late turn-ins. The subject matter itself benefits from in-person communication, which this fellow excels at, especially to perfect your skills.
Very helpful, responds quickly, and provides a very positive atmosphere.
My favorite professor, hands down. You have no excuse not to pass as long as you do your reading, take the practice quizzes, do your labs, and the weekly discussion question. I enjoyed his discussions in class and how he keeps everyone engaged. He is excellent at providing examples and references to the assignments given.
Well! He is beyond amazing. He is not just a regular teacher, but also a person that cares about his students. He is always close to you being sure you complete your homework and he give you extra help teaching us that whatever we committed to learned will helps us to be successful. I will take this class again.
Professor Aguilar was my Business professor and he was absolutely amazing. Whenever I had work that I did but the computer marked me wrong he would always change my grade back to the right grade. Best teacher I have ever had definitely will not be taking another business class with anyone else but him.
This class mostly covered MS Office. If you showed a different way of doing the same thing than what was expected from the computer graded assignment and the result was the same then he gave credit.
Nice guy. But he goes of subject at times. Curses for no reason. Also he will accepts late papers but will reply he will not accept them.
DO NOT take Professor Aguilar's classes online. I can't attest to how his classes are handled in person, but online he is extremely scatterbrained and unorganized. He will ask you for assignments that you have already turned in, and his weekly notes are full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors making it hard to understand his instructions.
Took this professor for spring, while he is caring and often time does give you extra time for assignment, he is not organized at all. His grading criteria will have you wonder what is even graded, he makes you keep track of your own grade and his D2L organization is all over the place. Lots of assignment on simnet and long 250 word mandatory DQ.
This professor wants you to be able to pass. He will make sure that everyone has the chance to get everything done. He is a Great Professor.
Just finished his course for ITCS 1301, he does respond to emails pretty quickly. Instructions aren't always clear, but he wants you to pass and will help you the best he can. A lot of work and homework but you'll get through it. Not insanely hard but you work for your grade. He knows when you're working hard. You get out what you put in.
I would like to express my thankfulness to you, Mr. Carlos Aguilar, a great professor, for your wonderful lessons, patience, and kindness. I really enjoyed your class.
Professor Aguilar is very understanding and personable. He likes to get to know his students and will help you out as much as he can - you only need to be respectful and communicate with him. Overall, I think he's a great professor and I would definitely choose him in the future if he's teaching one of my credit classes.
Very helpful when you have questions and is very understanding. His class is very straight forward, just follow the syllabus and stay on top of your work.
This was a fun course. The projects were pretty open ended with room to insert your own ideas into them. His grading seemed fair. Lots of big projects with a fair amount of time to work.
I took the class at the last min and have done a project overdue but the professor understood and helped me with my projects and the easiest class I have taken so far, and I'm going to take his class in the future. i highly recommend him
This class was Photoshop heavy. The lessons are all designed to teach how and why you might a certain tool. I knew very little going in and learned a ton! Homework is based on a Photoshop textbook and can span over 80 pages long so make sure you plan for that. Instructions are basic however and easy to learn step by step. Grading seemed fair.
He gives feedback for every project and goes into detail when grading of why and what you could have done which is good. Work is easy but if you want to get a good grade I would go above and beyond your norm so you can really learn and elevate your skills. . Take him!! He was fun and I was proud of my progress taking professor Aguilar.
I like his critiques of my projects. I think it helps me to improve my skill in the future.
Professor Aguilar is very scatter-brained with his notes and instructions (lots of spelling and grammatical errors). He give excessive busy work with unclear instructions and does not do a good job of updating the grade book in D2L. The classwork isn't difficult, but the way it is presented makes the class harder than necessary.
Professor Aguilar's structure was easy to follow, everything was by the class schedule he gave us at the beginning of the semester. He provides all the essential material you need to build your skills & provides real-world experiences you would face as a professional. I knew nothing going into this class but in the end, I learned a great deal.
Professor Carlos Aguilar is a caring and kind teacher. He actually wants us to succeed and is open to any questions you may have via email or in person. His ways of teaching are easy to understand and he makes sure you actually learn. I gained quite a bit of knowledge from him and that is something you can put a price on!
I chose difficulty level as DIFFICULT because it is a challenging course but it is not hard. The group project tag is there because this course does rely on working with your classmates for critiques, discussions, and feedback. Overall, I highly suggest taking a course with Professor Aguilar!
Great Professor! The course challenges you as your job will. Be ready to be involved, from critiques to feedback, you must work with your classmates to be most successful. He is also a great communicator, so if you need help and can't receive it from a classmate, be sure to ask him.
He is very understanding. He sends out a reminder before the assignments are due. Even though my class was online, he still treated us with importance and helped us get a good grades.
Super helpful and patient. Great communicator. Always responds when you have questions or can't find what you're looking for.
Prof. Aguilar was a very kind, caring and supportive professor. This intro to computer science did have a lot of information to learn but its an easy A if you try (most/if not all of answers on quizlet if you need help). The class assignments are tech-interactive, which helps with understanding material. Overall, great class + professor.
I loved professor Aguilar as a person very much. He is very motivational and his class was super easy. If your looking for a lecture and to be fed info this class is not for you. Most of what we did was by ourselves using interactive textbooks and homework, but he was always there to help when needed. I would take this class again if I could.
Professor Aguilar was amazing, 10/10 recommend. His class is mainly lab, everything is done from the textbook's activities but he is always there ready to clear any doubt. A lot of discussions and some extra activities like HTML coding. Very fun and entertaining classes. I loved attending this class, 100% would take another class with Prof. Aguilar
Charming and caring professor, fun to talk with, and helpful! He gives projects and assignments that will help us learn and apply them in our future work.
Great professor who cares about his students. I would definitely take him again. He will help you and will work with you to ensure that you are keeping up in his class. His work is reasonable and he answers emails in a timely matter.
He is an amazing prof with a clear criteria in grading and what he expects from you. He is always there if you have any questions regarding anything and is very thorough in his responses. He is very understanding and just is a great prof all around.
Professor Aguilar is an amazing Professor. He was very quick to help and answer any and all questions in more than a timely manner. He taught content that is needed not just content to fill up time. Mr. Aguilar made it very easy to ask all the questions, and he thoroughly explains. I would recommend him to everyone for every class possible.
This professor responded to every email very fast. He is always willing to help if you ask him.
This Professor gave me to work on chapters that I miss or are behind on.
Couldn't ask for a better professor. I took the 8 weeks course online and honestly it's not that hard. It's just the basics of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. You will spend most of your time on SIMnet. There are discussions, quizzes, tests, practice tests (optional), and videos/guides for you to learn in SIMnet. Very nice professor.
One of the most excellent online professors I have ever had so far. Not only does he grade things very quickly, but it is also evident where you did good and where you were lacking in the feedback. In addition, he answers any question you may have right away/very fast, it is very helpful.
