This is a great prof. He cares about students. He gives pp before each class. You are expected to study for quizes. If you attend class, pay attention, and participate, you can't get lower than an A. He is all about participation. Wonderful prof.

Very nice&funny oldman. His quizzes are super easy you just have to actually pay attention to the pp in class-which no one does. His practicums are exactly from the reviews he gives but you have to study the models. Every test or quiz has 5ish extracredit q's so even if you miss them you can get 100%. Im passing with an A with just a little study:)

Super nice professor. He willing to help you (even after you are out of his course). Tests and practi****come right from his power point presentations. Opened the lab manual once. Learn what he tells you to learn and he's an A for sure.

Lab: At first I wanted to drop this class but am glad I stayed! He is very helpful. A little hard to understand his English but he is happy to help and checks your quizes during the quiz to hint you if you're correct. He also gives study guides that show exactly on test! Study though, the practicums cover alot of info!

He is an awesome professor! I had him Anatomy and physiology I Lecture and I got an A. Make sure you read and study his powerpoints because that is what is going to be on the exams. He will hightlight certain information in the powerpoint. You can print out his powerpoints from his wedsite. Also, he takes attendance so be in class every day.

He's the best professor ever. As soon as you study the PPP and study by the notes he sends, easy A. He teaches u a chapter, do a Quiz and the class after the quiz, the test. Very important to get A in the first quizes and test. I really enjoyed his class and took him for next semester. Important; First class a test about biology, and chemistry.

This for the lecture. Bidot is a nice man, no doubt. Very respectful to his students, and communicative. The class consists of a lot of quizzes and about 5 tests. Pay attention & study the PPP and BOOK (no need, but I recommend). Easy GROUP research paper. Get version A of quiz or test if you can *wink* Just try your BEST, guarantee you will an A.

Definitely would recommend. He gives you pointers on what is important so you have an idea what will be on the quiz. You can print out the entire lecture notes on his website. Helps you in anyway he can as long as you do your part (study and doing the homework), you'll be fine in his class. On top of that he is funny.

I took this professor for 2085 lecture and lab and 2086 lab I wish he would have taught the lecture at Kendall b.c he's amazing. Awesome professor, he teaches thru powerpoint and answers questions as students ask.You can manage to pass by just studying the powerpoints but you need the book if you really want to excel. Gives study guides and is helpful. I learned a lot in the class I'd definetly take him again for BSC2086.

he is a good teacher. he give his test are like 50 question and der 6 test in total and 6 quiz in total..the quiz are like from 13 to 25 questions easy quiz..test are easy only if you study at least 3 to 4 hours a week. he give extra credit and homework. ders a homework assignment every test date.nice guy

prof bitot is an excellent person, but what he put on the tests is not what is on the power points he gives. you have to learn a lot of material that will not be on the tests at all.

I think he was a great professor. He curves the grading scale for test and he gives study guides for everything. You also have one research paper that he lets you do in groups of like 8 people about one disease. I strongly recommend to take him for anatomy.

Funny teacher, does have a tendency to read from power points. Lots of tests and quizzes. It is possible to do well on tests but you must study powerpoints and you must use the book to help calirfy points that are not clear. Work hard in the beginning and it will pay off in the end when the material gets more challenging.

I had him for bsc2085L very clear his quizes come from the power point, easy to pass he drops 2 of the lowest grades, homework, lab books,and project you will learn REALLY helpfull.

Had Dr. Bidot for lab. Awesome and interesting guy. You show initiative and he'll help you out. Has a thick accent, but easy to understand (once you get the hang of it). Very much recommend.

He has a strong accent, but the class itself seems Chinese unless you study. HE WORKS WITH YOU. IF YOUR NOT READY FOR THE QUIZ TELL HIM AND HE WILL LET YOU TAKE IT NEXT CLASS! This class was great! STUDY THE PP'S!! Powerpoints are very clear and precise. Study guides may be given, but if not he will review before exams. Attendance affects your grade so be sure to show up! Group project due at end of the semester. Exams come from material in class/power points. Record lectures and you will be sure to do GREAT! I did! :)

Great professor. A&P 1 is hard as it is, but he does a great job in simplifying it so we can understand. The tests were a bit difficult and studying is a must. We barely ever used the book as we used the PPT, but studying the book really helps you grasp the content. He is funny & keeps you awake. He does have a minor latin accent. No biggie.

This is one of the best professors that MDC has. Those who are complaining about him its probably because they have never taken a science class. He does have an accent, but who does not in this college??. He provides lots of materials to get an A. Do not even need the book.

I took this professor for BSC 2085 / 2085 L and 2086 class. This professor is amazing he is extremely helpful, and explains all material very well. This professor does have an accent. He speaks Spanish / English . He uses a PowerPoint presentation to teach his classes. He has a website that you could download every PowerPoint presentation, and study it and it's exactly to the quizzes as well as the exams. This professor is a Sweet heart. Professor Bidot is a great professor. He really wants you to learn and at the same time is really helpful. The only downside is that the test and quizzes are really hard you need to study everything. He gives you a study guide for the test but it's not helpful.

He uses powerpoints to teach and they are literally summaries of each section and subsection in the book but the book is just more detailed for those who are interested. 5Test, 6Quizzes, drops 1of each. Pass the Final and you get the next grade up! Awesome!

I like this professor so much when I had him on from BSC2085 lecture had to take him for another class. He is a great prof. that goes over exactly what you need to know for the exams on the labs, one of the very few prof. that actually utilizes the models in class & in the exams, truly learned a lot in this class. I loved taking BSC2085 with this professor, its true he has a heavy Cuban accent but he helps you a lot with reviews for the test and explains very well the lectures . I'm taking him again this semester. He doesn't make the lecture hard you have to study if you want to pass

He's a pretty good teacher Anatomy itself can be a bit challenging but thankfully he didn't make it too hard. When it comes to tests he gives you the list of things to expect for the test so you know what to study for and he allows Make Ups for test, quizzes, and homework. There is also a group project which is NOT HARD AT ALL. Would recommend him!

I adore professor Bidot, yes the class is not easy, he does not give free grades out and if you want an A then you are going to have to work hard for it. But overall he is an amazing professor and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. One thing is for sure, you will learn in the class and if you like learning then this is the class for you.

With this class you need to study and make effort. If this is done, then you will pass this class; I did, and with an A!

BSC 2085 was a hard class because of the content and the amount of information, not because of the professor. I think if you expect to get and easy A without putting the effort then do not expect to get an A. He knows his material and cares for his students to do well. You just have to make the effort and study!!

Dr Bidot is the best! Great professor and human being. His classes are very interesting. He is extremely intelligent and has many decades of experience as a Dr. I took Dr Bidot for BSC2085 and BSC2086. I got A on both! The subject is difficult but not impossible. Some lazy students blame the professor for their lack of commitment to the class.

Lectures are long and boring but the man knows his stuff. He does give study guides that help a lot but you definitely need to study. There is some homework but that's easy and expect to do a group presentation project at the end of the course. Read the book and go over his PPTs and you'll be fine. Try not to be late to his class.

I'm a former University of Miami lecturer and decided to take this course in order to expand my studies in the sciences. In all my years working in academia, I can honestly say he is probably the best professor I've ever had! His teaching style is professional and the curriculum is structured in a way that if you study hard, you can get an A!!

Anatomy is a difficult subject, so if you expect to get an A without making any efforts you will probably do as bad as the people on here with the hate comments. Yes, you have to study, but this professor loves this subject and he makes sure we love it too; so read the PPT, pay attention, always he is able to help don't regret and take this class.

He is great,if you enjoy learning he truly open your eyes ! He makes you think, but not suffer. I will definitively take him again . Offer extra credit, do the homework, follow his ptts, show up for class, and you are done. No stress

This professor is awesome! He knows what he is teaching. His classes are not bored. He gaves 6 quizzes,5 exams and 1 final, he drops the lower grade. He send a study guide for each test, and yessss! you have to study harder, but if you do it, you will finish with A or B

This is the 2nd time I have taken professor Bidot, and I am taking him again this coming semester. He is a wonderful teacher, truly cares about whether you understand, and has a fair grading policy -- 6 quizzes, 5 exams, & 1 final test, plus homework (extra credit) that is really easy and it's there to help your grade. Take him! You won't regret it

Dr. Bidot is one of the best, smartest, nicest, clearest and friendliest anatomy professor at MDC. He is ALWAYS willing to help you if he sees you putting a considerable amount of effort in his class. Negative reviews must come from truly lazy students that doesn't take the time to do the work.. Although it's not easy, he makes it enjoyable! :)

I appreciated Prof Bidot's grading system. You have 5 quizzes,5 tests & 1 final +group project. He will drop your worst quiz & test to help your grade if you are struggling. Do your best from the beginning so you dont have to worry about taking the final!! Those whining b/c they want to be spoon fed need a reality check. This is college!

Best Professor Ever! Anatomy is such a hard and boring class, but not with Professor Bidot! Class is always interesting and he keeps you awake with his funny jokes!

Study power points go in deep with the book, do homework that's helpful for quiz review and extra credit at the end, you'll pass! Class is not boring at all, with professor Bidot was always clear and fun!

AMAZING. I'm taking him now and he's just super caring for his students. He really tries to teach you and is funny sometimes, which helps to make anatomy fun. Tests and quizzes are EASY (if you study and READ). Drops one quiz and one test. Take him, you won't regret it, just make sure to get involved in the class and ask questions, he'll explain.

Great Professor and makes lectures fun! If you're taking Anatomy & Physiology1 he drops one test and one quiz so if you go to class plus read the book you'll do fine. Keep in mind that the last chapters are the hardest, so make sure you get off to a good start. Highly recommend his class!

Professor Bidot is funny and knows his subject well. Interesting class all semester, some chapters were boring but that was anatomy. Has 5 exams and a final to help people who are struggling. Would take again!

Anatomy is tough. But Professor Bidot makes it a breeze. If you read negative comments about him they are untrue, those students either didn't bother studying or paying attention. You have 5 tests and a final. If you get an A in class he dosent make you take the final. He's super nice and caring. If you try you will get an A no doubt. Take him!

Professor Bidot gives 5 test and drops the lowest one and 5 quizzes and dropest the lowest one. He reads off the power points, but he is flexible if you wish to talk to him, and is open to any questions you may have. He is not an easy A but if you put in the time and effort you should be fine. He makes a lot of jokes. Overall he is a good prof.

I enjoy having him for a class, hes really nice and understand once he sees youre trying hard. A lot of reading of the power points he gives but you dont need the textbook. Theres 5 quizzes and 5 tests. He drops your lowest quiz and test grade. As long as you do your part, you study a lot and does everything he tells you, you will get a A.

Bidot is a nice guy who wants to see his students do well. His tests are pretty hard but if you study you will do fine. He uploads all his lectures online. He gives easy HW to help out your grade. His study guides are nothing like the test so don't rely on them to study. The textbook isn't mandatory but it is really helpful.

Professor Bidot is good. He gives a lot of extra credit, drops the lowest quiz, lowest exam, and it gives you a third chance at the final to receive a better grade! Regarding his teaching methodology, he explains everything well, the only bad thing is that he tries to cover a lot of material for one exam and you get super overload. No need for Book

If you read the text book and his PowerPoint detail and what he points to be very important you will pass.

Professor Bidot was amazing, he truly cares for his students, he wants everyone to succeed & learn. He gives you many chances to improve your overall grade. If you think its a lot of reading, then maybe you should change your major. Nothing good will come easy, you gotta want it. Hes funny & shows that hes passion about his career. Blessing

Professor Bidot is great. He is very considerate and he cares about his students. The chapters are way too long because it covers a lot of materials. If you want to pass his class you need to study, but besides that he is perfect. One final group project at the end, and he drops your lowest score. Final is optional if you need a better grade.

I really enjoyed the class. Its not very often that an instructor can make a subject come alive the way he does. He is an older instructor but you often forget this when you hear him explaining concepts with passion or curiosity. This made it much easier to get through some of the more boring chapters. You can tell he cares about students education

I love Professor Bidot! Honestly, this is an Anatomy class and is not supposed to be easy. You are required to study and if you dont you probably wont do well, but that goes with just about any other class. Professor Bidot is really funny and makes the lectures interesting, I was able to remember a lot of the terminology because of his jokes.

Good/funny professor! Hes passionate about his students and anatomy. He is very straight forward. Reads from PowerPoint. Everything in PowerPoint will be on quiz and test. 5 quiz 5 test 1 group project. You have to work for it. Dont take him if youre sensitive!

This professor is excellent, his grading method allow you to improved your grade although you didn't start with good grade in your first test. He give study guides and his Power points presentations, that help a lot. Quiz before each regular test but this help you to be prepare for the tests. Take care of his students, and is inspirational.

Professor Bidot is amazing! He cares about the students and what you are learning, he also uses little anecdotes that make you remember the material. He gives HW for extra credit to help you with exams, but don't miss class because he tells you during lecture what the different extra credits will be.

Tests are solely based on power points - no need for the textbook. His lectures are interesting b/c he is a funny man. If you don't pass, this class its b/c you didn't care to learn the material on the power points he provides. A few tests, hw (xtra credit) and a group project (really easy). I did the bare minimum & got an A - just do your part.

Highly recommend Dr. Bidot. Hes a very kind professor with many years of experience in the field and classroom. His labs are entertaining. Hes very caring. Great teacher. He takes good notes on the board so take pictures of that and all the body part models because those will be on the practicums. Participate in class. Multiple quizzes in class.

Professor Bidot is very concern about our learning process, he is always willing to help us if we have any question, always motivates us to participate in class. He uses learning strategies to keep us alert in class, he also has a good sense of humor. I would really take him for my next class.

I loved having Professor Bidot for my lab. He is a very good teacher that actually cares for his students. Tests were always based on PowerPoints so no need for extra studying. Also he is funny which can make the class more enjoyable. If you pay attention, you will excel for sure. I learned so much from this lab and I would take it again.

At first, Bidot can come off as harsh, but you quickly learn that he will only get on your case if you repeatedly show lack of interest. I took his lab and learned more in his lab than I did in lecture w/a different professor. He makes corny jokes throughout to help you remember the material, and he starts each class with a summary on the board.

I wish all my sciences were with him! I truly appreciate a Professor who genuinely wants to see you succeed. Read the material before coming to class so that you use the class as a review. He's so funny and gives you opportunities to earn a high grade! I had him for Lab 2086 as well and also got an A. Hands down the best AP prof.

Prof. Bidot is AMAZING! He goes very far to help you pass and is very lenient with due dates. He doesnt give many assignments so you wont hate the class and his lectures are very helpful.

HW for each chapter with drawing & labeling. Test & quizzes based of PowerPoints with Lock down browser & are timed (15 Min) & are not allowed to go back on previous question. The Test/Quiz that are 11 questions includes 1 xtra credit question. Reviews quizzes and practicums so if your paying attention you will know what's on the exams. Considerate

Professor Bidot is a good professor given that you take him in person, I had him for the lab and he was a good teacher. he relies a lot on class participation so be ready to answer questions. there is three practicums and the rest is just homework and quizzes on Pearson. if you attend class and pay attention you will pass the class

Very sweet, funny, cuban man who listened when we said we were struggling. He rearranged some things to try and help us on the quizzes and tests. As long as you keep up with your assignments, you will be fine.

Professor Bidot is a funny, caring Cuban who makes the class enjoyable. Readings and quizzes are key, but Unstuck study was a lifesaver for my study prep.

I absolutely love bidot. I took him for BSC 2085 & BSC 2086. In 2085 I missed 3 quizes and he let me make them up. He always lets students make up the quizzes he also doesnt grade the hw by grade but by completion. I honestly enjoyed having him as a professor.

Professor Bidot is very sweet and truly has a passion for what he teaches. If you miss one or more of his quizzes, he allows you to make them up which is a plus for students. I will say that his quizzes can be challenging because almost all of the questions are asking to identify parts of a model image so I would study from the Pearson study area.

My mother had Professor Bidot as a professor many years ago. He is still just as passionate, it seems. While he is not the easiest to understand, he is very sympathetic and it shows. I would definitely take him again, even if anatomy was not at all my best subject.

Bros the Goat would absolutely take him again for labs I took the other class with someone else I got into a car accident and he was extremely understanding and helped me take the quizzes I missed
