He's a good teacher...once you convince him that you have the right answer, he'll give you the mark...he will also postpone the test if you convince him! He tells you what is going to be on the exam. He's very friendly.

compared microwaves with apples to explain the deman and supply curves! Our whole class was not impressed, he is okay for 1st year but later on try to get MRK teachers like Marando that actually know what they are doing.(proctor and gamble marketing mng)
right from the text kinda guy, very clear and not very hard programm outline. Sometimes boring.Lets for make up quizes with a proper note.

Great professor. He knows how to get the class to interact. Also helpful about tests. Gives you the chance to speak out in class. Gives you the chance to argue about your point of view in tests and gives u considerations if your answers are valid enuff.

You don't notice at the beginning but u will see it at the end of the semseter. Most students skip his class since and they only show up at midterm and final.

First,Carlos is not easy marker,and he will make you work very hard.However, you will learn a lot so that there is no problem with writing exams. Quizes will drive you crazy.Overall not a bad teacher.

he is the worse teacher, when u ask questions, he'll talk about sth else not even relate to the questions that u wanna ask. he'll say sth and then later on, on the test if u answer the way he said it in class he'll mark you wrong. he doesnt know wat he is saying... i have a hard time with him
omg do not take him. he is unclear and contradicts himself all the time he'll say one thing in class and on the test say it's wrong. You will answer his questions because the answer was from the text and he'll say it's wrong. he's always right and ****ed. his quote 'if all else fails... just sell yourself' the way he said it digust me! bad teach

His marking is not clear same as all his lectures
When it comes to teaching, Carlos is okay. However, you'll quickly realize he isn't what he makes himself out to be. Takes marks off for no apparent reason. Also, his math skills are terrible. Double check every test and assignment. He's always right and you're always wrong. No matter what the situation.

To be blunt if you are rude and interrupt his class he wont like you for the entire semester and in turn you will be bitter and hate on him. He isn't that tough believe me. Yes he has a slight accent..but so do 85% of the class..i studied what he told me to and i got a good grade.
Worst teacher! He is hard to understand and marks really hard. Sometimes says really rude comments. I went to all classes but in order to understand what he is teaching you have to read the textbook thoroughly. I highly DONT recommend!!!

Carlos is an idiot, plain and simple. He spends the first 45 minutes of every class going over his introduction slide then covers about 10% of the material per lecture. He gives assignments with unclear guidelines and changes requirements just days before due dates. A 6 year old could create a better final exam and he takes off marks unreasonabl

First, he is not rude or impolite. He expects students to be in his class on time, and do their assignments, BUT he is a very hard marker teacher and he provides material needed for the assignment when the time is passed. OH He doesn't give you any clue for the FInal exam. I don't recommand him for those who are looking for high grade.

Took this professor for MRK106 for 2 classes,dropped him after the third class and chose Ingrid Mueller instead. He is a very biased teacher, he only believes his own opinions and does not give reviews or clear and transparent answers. Do not take him unless you don't care about your grade. This professor Gets an F+ from me on all aspects.

Carlos is the best teacher at seneca. His willing to help his students after class (especially the females;)) TAKE HIS CLASS YOU WONT REGRET IT!!
He was a pleasant guy but that is as far as it goes. He left half way through the fall semester and I was so glad. His lectures were boring and he was a hard marker. Varinder Gill took over for him and she was much better
As long as you are proactive in class and participate in discussions, and show a willingness to participate, then only you can be on his "good side". It also helps to read the book. Overall, be prepared to contemplate related topics in class and an 'A' will be on your gradebook.
I really enjoyed attending his classes and learn from experiences and knowledge. As a professor he enjoys bringing up course related conversations through which we can express our opinions while learning from others. Certainly, I would really like to have him as a professor in other courses as well.
Very misleading, always check your tests and evaluations when you get them back because most likely he screwed up at least something on there. I would recommend anyone wanting to get a good mark to stay away from him.

Very nice guy. As long as you pay attention in class and study the slides and textbook, youll get an A for sure. Get on his good side by always attending classes, speaking up and participating in class discussions.
-weekly quiz looked terrorizing in the beginning, but actually the most helpful and beneficial factor to being able to balance out your marks -lectures are relatable and easy to understand -group work minimal and participation is encouraged -always starts on time, organized, and knowledgeable -gives detailed study guides to help you out
If you want a live class, this course is a must! But if you hate presentations, he is not for you.

You won't get a good grade if you don't independently read the text book and study. In my opinion your results will depend on the effort you put in class and independently on your own time.
There are short quizzes in every lecture, so beware of it. he loves asking questions and gives group discussion. But the group discussion is not longer than 10mins. His lecture is fine, neither boring nor funny.
-uses slides in class and posted online (inclass is an advantage as its indepth + detailed) -quiz every week WHICH you can learn how to appreciate (2-3% each time) -detailed--VERY detailed exam outlines -he likes when the students participates in class

He is a really good professor, making sure the classes are always complete and if the class is not necessary he will cancel it, he wont make you go unless it is completely necessary. Do all the assignments, he is very flexible and good grader if you put enough effort on the assignment you give to him of course. Text book is not that necessary.
The professor skips many slides of presentations and doesn't explain the material properly. Be ready for self-education. The level of the tests that he gives is much harder than the level of his lectures. For me, it was waste of time and money.
To be honest, he doesn't teach. He just gives a little exercises in class, just it . You can't learn Econ by yourself. You need visuals and explanations. He tells you about her personal life and then expects you to learn something from it. Don't take his if there are other choices. The worst professor I have had ever.
Would you prefer knowing where you stand every week so you can fix your weak areas, or would you prefer not knowing until you receive a C or less on a major test? Be grateful: the upside of being quizzed weekly is that it helps you retain newly learned material better. Having him is a blessing. Seriously.

One of the best professors in Seneca in my opinion. Had 2 courses with him MRKT and BAM. He explains very well and gives examples from real life instead of just reading from slides like many other professors do.

He is a terrible professor and person in general. Does not care about his job or students whatsoever. His lectures and power-points are filled with errors and he always shows up late. Also never responds to emails. Watch out and check your marks; He purposefully gave me a lower one and had to jump through hoops to get it fixed. Drop his class asap
This professor made me question Seneca's screening process. He doesn't know what he is doing, gives quizzes every week and makes them so hard that he doesn't even know the answers. You should ALWAYS check your quiz papers because he is known to mark things wrong that is correct. He is extremely forgetful and unprofessional! Avoid the headache!
I liked how he taught and and encouraged people to participate in class, but he was a terrible at grading and keeping things organized. Always had to check my quizzes/exams bc there was ALWAYS a grading mistake. Same for online posted marks. Sent many emails to clarify some things, but the responses clarified only half at best. It was terrible.
I have no idea how someone like this has ANY job let alone the one that he does. He is absolutely horrible. He absolutely does not have the literary or social skills it takes to effectively teach or facilitate a course. He NEEDS to resign so students can get the proper education they deserve and are paying for.

Worst faculty in my opinion. Lectures and instructions were pretty unclear. If you want a friendly professor who would guide you throughout the semester, he's not the person to go to.

Extremely unhelpful, you will end up teaching yourself if you take this class. He has no idea what he is doing or atleast seems to have no idea what he is doing.
