He's relatively picky about English grammar--he should be since it's Eng102. Bottom line, if you do what he's looking for, even if you're a horrible writer, you'll do more than fine. I thought he was extremely easy, though. "queen of queens"

He definitely seems passionate about teaching his classes, even though he has a bit of a temper. He seems like an interesting guy, someone you can talk to outside of class. He's pretty reasonable when it comes to determining your grades and definitely knows what he's teaching about.

So, so professor. He does alot of verbal critizing of students during class. You can see students getting turned off by him. My classmate would not even participate in class. Maybe they were afraid he would shoot them down. SAD... Class is not stimulating in the least. I was looking forward to Eng101 but it far from met my expectations.

Ok guys listen he has a low tolerance for disrespect andstudents that disrupt the class which is damn normal. He will definetly teach you how to properly interpet quotes into the essay for the fianl. So if you want to learn pick this class, however if you're lazy and tend to be rude and disrespectful then dont take this class.

Speaking for myself, he was a cool professor. He helped me a lot with my writing. I think if you are willing to pit the work in his class, it will pay off in the future.

He is a very sarcastic person and criticize anyone who makes a mistake. He'll even go as far as to tell his whole class, but he won't say the person name. If you fail one if his essay the highest grade you can get after you revise is an C. Don't expect extra credit, he doesn't believe in it. Overall good teacher....but personal i don't like him.

He's alright, just has a very slight attitude problem sometimes. I would recommend him because he challenges you and is understanding at the same time.

He is mean but you learn a lot in his class, I took him for express class for three days to pass the CAT-W and I passed after 3 times thabks to him. But wouldnt take him for a whole semester.

He is a great professor to work with if you pay attention to what he says and make an effort.

This was a great introduction to english class. The novel read in class was also very interesting (the post office). He gave me and A and I will say that if you simply remain attentive with what he expects you can also receive a good grade. His quizzes aren't so difficult and he also helps you become a better essay writer

So this review is long overdue bc I actually took him during Spring session 2009. From what I remember, the course # was ENA 099 (remedial) and he was a pretty no nonsense professor. We read Maus and did a few papers. He allows revisions and passed me with a B. Take him if you aren't overly sensitive to writing critique.

He is a tough teacher who makes you work hard. If you do not take your school work seriously don't bother taking his class. But if you are willing to come to class, follow basic instructions, and work hard you will learn a lot in his classes. Excellent professor!

Great english professor! We didn't use a textbook but we did have a reading book. He gave about 5 papers and if we didn't hand one in we automatically failed. The papers were 2 to 3 pages no more no less. Outgoing professor and I enjoyed sitting in his class very much, was funny and cracked jokes every once in a while. Would take class again!!

Took this professor in the mini semester and I was worried at first but it was as bad as you would think it to be. He doesn't really ask for much.
