Prof Morales is a very calm guy, so classes do tend to get boring real fast.Although, his tests arent hard,there just straight from the book so you gotta read the chapters and put some time into it to get a high grade.He also requires 3 simple article reviews about 4-5 paragraphs long. I got a B and i barely put time into studying.

The best macroeconomics teacher. Extremely easy. Only 4 exams (including final) & 3 easy short article review papers. He curves almost 2 whole letter grades during each test. If you are lost during a test, just approach him and he will give you a great hint to the answer. His exams are pretty simple. He is also very understanding.Take him for EC0

Professor Morales is a great option. He has an accent, and is a bit weird to understand, but he is very fair and relatively lax. Make sure to take notes and study from those, as he doesn't enforce book use, but the book IS useful for studying. Furthermore, do the online homework and do the article reviews and it'll be an easy A. I got an A.

really nice guy and does give you many chances to pass his class. Need book to study Course is: 4/5 Test 3 Articles, DO online hw. He from teaches power points & test are harder than what he teaches- doesn't make own test only flaw but gives many chances to get a GOOD grade. He's a good teacher and gets really into his lectures. Id take him again.

Do the LearnSmart on Connect and this should prepare you well for the tests. He has an accent, but if you listen to what he's really saying, he's a good teacher. He's also very nice. Listen to his lectures (they are meant to accompany the book not replace it), do the hw and article reviews and you should be fine.

His class is interesting but his accent is pretty bad. You have 4 tests and a final. I would have gotten a B but i studied really hard for the final. Its not an easy class you actually need to study the book, basically know it word for word. The homework online helps a lot and the 3 current events are easy A's.

This professor knows well the subject. Forget about accents, he really knows what he is talking about. Do the online homework because this will be a part of your final grade. For me Macro and Micro are not easy. My recommendation is go to the lab to get some help.

Very good prof. Knows his stuff. He knows what he is taking about but sometimes has trouble explaining it. He will help you as much as possible but his reviews are very short not to helpful and his test are hard. He will help as much as possible and is fair.

Professor Morales is a nice person. He gave us study guides for every test, which came from the book. The study guides were complete so the tests were passable. Not a very fun class, but it was a good class. He made us do a couple of writing assignments, but overall very passable. I took this class in the Spring of 2013, and still recommend him.

His English is clear and understandable, he just has a little Spanish accent. He works with students to help improve the grades. He's very nice. As long as you do the online homework, two Article Reports and the tests ( I believe we had 4) you should get an easy A. I would totally take him again!

He is a nice person! And he gives extra credits, but just be aware that when you come to the test base it on you, not him. The HW is easy and he cares a lot about his students passing.

macro is not easy, if you are expecting to just show up and pass, you're wrong. Prof. Carlos is awesome!! he has a little Spanish accent, but his lectures are understandable. he also cares about the students, and would give extra credits. I like the class.

His class is made so that you will pass regardless of whether you get good grades on the final or midterm. That said, the homework WILL make you understand economics it's got the highest weight of all. Luckily the professor gives you an awesome grace period on "MindTap". All in all, I would retake this class as it is very hard to fail.

Grade is fair. Nice professor. I took macro and micro with him. To pass his class, you need to really understand his PowerPoint. All the test has 80% from PowerPoint for sure. The other 10% is how to apply the materials practically. EasyA. Also, go to his office to ask questions which you confused on the class . Strongly recommend!!!

Took this class online. Hard for me since its too much to read but professor was great and helpful. He gave extra credit that helped a lot. 2 proctored exams and your homework is worth 50% so you will pass if you do HW and quizzes good.

Nice professor. Super easy to pass his class with A. I took both classes with him. For sure to get an A. You need to focus on his lecture. Also. Review all the PowerPoint before you take the exam. All the concept and graph is there ( easy get A ) Except you dont even understand the PowerPoint examples at all

He puts very practical examples, and he is concerned about youi to be aware of the reality (of course with a focus on macroeconomics)

Macro is a very challenging class, Prof. Morales tries to make it as easy as possible. Gives 8 extra credits,really easy just print out something and turn it in. There is hw but not a lot and he gives a month to do it. 3 tests and a final. He sometimes boosts up tests by 10% depending how the class did. Not a hard class at all. Lazy people complain

He's a pretty good professor overall. Never paid attention to the lectures. Homework is online and there's a lot of it. Tests are ok. He talks a lot about the gas price and the price of food at McDonald's to use for examples on different topics. Gives 7 extra credit opportunities. Gave more weight on the homework since we were online this semester.

Morales is a literal gem. GIves a bunch of homework but it's basically your entire grade plus answers are online. Do good on the homework that's on Cengage and you'll end up passing. He gives super easy extra credit which helps to boost your grade. The material is basically the same as ECO2013 so the lecture can get kinda boring but it's worth it.

Hes a sweetheart. If English is the only language you speak, then you should look for another professor because he can get confused with some words in spanish, but apart from that, hes fantastic. Gives good examples, gets you involved, offers extra credit, the exams are similar to the homework, and hes just so nice overall.

This professor was such a sweetheart, he was very lenient with deadlines and always helped out his students whenever needed. Attendance is not mandatory but it is extra credit at the end of the semester if you attend every class. He gave a decent amount of homework nothing incredibly overwhelming but overall great professor I loved him.

If you want an easy laid back ECO2013 class, professor Morales is the one. I found the class very easy and quick to finish. I finished the whole class in less than 2 months and waited for the midterm and final as my last assignments due. Everything is online for the class. Only thing is the 3 Gordon rule papers but they were doable.

The professor gave a super easy extra credit assignment worth 5% of the class, plus 15 extra credit questions on the Final. The class was not difficult, there were homework assignments due every week and a total of 3 writing assignments. Professor Morales was really nice and flexible, I would 100% recommend this class.

Prof. Morales is the most dedicated professor I've ever seen. He is so passionate about teaching. You literally have no excuses to fail this class. He would explain the same topic 100 times in class and after class If you ask him to. HW is on Pearson, due at the end of the semester. 4 tests and 1 mandatory final, tons extra credit opportunities.

Professor Morales is a great teacher and very caring. There are 3 mandatory essays but it is not hard. You chose the topic and basically, you just explain the source, your pov, and your conclusion. The only downside of this class is the homework. He uses cengage and gives you a lot of time to finish the homework but it takes time to complete it.

His class is very structured and easy to follow up, assignments and homework are all on Canvas. If you do your part you can strive in this class.

Good professor, but make sure to study hard. I read the book, but learning from the hw (very extensive) and using YouTube should be fine. Make sure to do the hw on time (create a hw-workout strategy) and to study well for the exams. Generally, exams are easier than hw, but they do cover a lot of stuff - 40 questions usually. Study cards may help!!

Amazing professor. Had him for micro at FIU and he was incredible. His lectures are memorable, he gives so many examples that breaks down so many concepts. He also encourages questions and wants the students to learn. There are daily homework's after every chapter but they are all very manageable. Amazing professor I would take him if I could.
