Professor Vargas is a really good teacher! Be ready for power points. He gives you power point notes and in class you have to fill in the blank. Do not skip class. Tests are easy if you study the review. He is a new teacher and young but diffidently nice to look at!

He has been my favorite Psychology professor so far. He offers many classes in the Psychology department and I would definitely recommend him. He is not strict when it comes to attendance but you will get all the material for the course from the lectures and powerpoints he gives in class. The lectures are fun, interesting, and never boring!

I loved taking Human Sexuality with him! The class was not awkward or boring, but was fun and very interesting. He likes to use powerpoints, that he'll give a student copy to you and you "fill in the blanks". You are never going to want to miss a lecture!

Other than the fact that he's super nice, he's a great professor. He makes psychology an interesting subject. He knows his stuff. He was always available to meet before/after class, and the rare times we had hw, it was super easy to do. You do have to take notes, but you'll be happy to because everything he says on the subject is interesting. 10/10

didn't need to buy book for intro to psych. he is the only prof I had to use blackboard and uploaded study guides on time and in advance. you don't need to go to class but if you miss a test or in class work you wont be able to make up. fairly easy, I wish he would take better notes for us to copy but overall a good teacher.

Best Professor Ive ever had. He always knew how to make things so interesting and funny. He uses many examples from him own life as well as encourages us to share ours. All you have to do is turn in the weekly homework, a few quizzes will be given, and the exams are easy if you study.

This class is super easy, and Mr. Vargas makes it exciting and fun. The test is easy if you do and study the review. There is a final research project that includes a presentation, but it is done in pairs, and he gives you plenty of time to do it. You will learn a lot from this class.

Hands down one of the best if not the best professor I have taken at EPCC so far. He makes class super fun and engaging to learn. I never once felt bored in his class or not engaged. Lessons are pretty broken down. Notes he takes on the bored are most likely going to be part of exams which ar4e pretty easy. I really loved and enjoyed his class.

I had to work a lot during this semester that I took him (Spring 2024) and it was hard to keep up with the content but EASY to understand. You can fall behind if you do not keep up with his class. Assignments for him open up Mondays and you only have till Fridays!
