All around a very good teacher, I'm going to take her for Comp 2. She actually wants all of her students to be successful and tries her best to do that. While developping our essays in class, she meets with us individually. Is strict about absenteeism.

Antomamarchi is a great professor! She really knows her stuff. She explains each story, play, and poem we read. She grades fair, and is just an all around very nice lady. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I've taken her for comp 1 and comp 2, both she did well with. Comp 2 is better though, she's SO passionate about it. Can be dry but she's still pretty good.

I took her Spring 04. She was very particular on how she wanted things done. She had a problem with people being late or absent. It was almost if you needed to apologize for not coming to class. Her research paper was time consuming but it is 1102.

She was a good teacher, strict about missing class, I almost got kicked because of it but she was nice enough to give me one last chance. Just show up to class and do your work and ask her for help and you should get a good grade.

Very good teacher! She is very helpful, but strict on attendance and counts attendance as part of your grade. Come to class, do your homework and you will do well!

TON of reading that is almost impossible, quizes are easy if you do the reading, essays are tough, one 3000 and a few others. hard class-hated it, and I love english. don't take her if you don't go to class or don't have much time for h.w.

This proffesor is very clear and helpfull.There is no way anyone can fail this course,with the exeption of those who are lazy,don't do their work and dont attend class.

She grades her essays hard but you can BS your way through the quizzes. She taught a lot of the stuff that I knew from high school...always strays from the topic in class

Wonderful woman. Very helpful. Had a great time in her class. Required NO studying, just read the stories and you will do fine. Somewhat big on attendance but will work with you. I miss 8 days and she never said anything to me. Take her class.

I love mrs.antommarchi. she is so sweet and she is really funny in an older lady type of way. she is so cute and is very thorough with explaining what she wnats out of assignments. DONT MISS A QUIZ. you cant make anyhting up if you miss the class. But thats for most classes anyway. She is a good tea

she's a cake walk. just show up. the class is full of easy and mindless assignments like "your summer vacation" and "your favorite place." Take her if you want something completely non-challanging and maybe along the lines of a waste of your time.

Learning Literature in Antommarchi's class was enjoyable because she related works to students' everyday life and gave details about the authors' backgrounds. Overall, I found her class to be deep and interesting. Beware however, that attendance is a must!!! It is counted toward students grades.

She seems is nice for the most part. Talks a lot, tons of reading and essays.Quizzes are easy if you do the reading.Don't miss class she'll take off points and is not lenient. She is very smart and you can learn a lot if you like a class that you just listen to a teacher ramble on the entire time. Hardly ever lets you out early.

OK, so she's easy, but very repetitive.Doesn't allow anyone to leave early, makes a face when you come in late. Takes roll atleast twice per class, and her writting assignments are cake. She likes people who participate, otherwise will call on people at random. Only 5 essays all semester. syllabus not clear.

A pretty easy class. All you do is write essays and take quizzes on the things we read. The prof. is not bad however, once told me that my idea for an essay was too "ambitious"... way to challenge my writing. She often grades on and picks out minor problems in papers that don't make sense.

She is a very pick grader. I never got an A on any essay that she graded, but when we took the mid-term online I got an "A". She told me I was a good writer, but my essay average was a "C"??? Kinda Boring the class is set up very high school like. Takes roll more than once a class and doesn't let anyone leave early even if class is finished. No HW!

the teacher isnt mean or anything, but you cant be late and she def. takes attendance everyday .. its an easy class, and you can get an A on every essay if you go to the peer mediation classes .. short stories are easy and those quizes are an easy A also, very easy class

DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!! She treats you like a high school students when it comes to attendance. I missed one class due to surgery and she still docked me credit. Also she is obsessed with her laptop and won't let you use your laptop in class!!!

Her class was super easy. Just make sure you SHOW UP! You do a decent amount of essays and her grading can be a little weird. Make sure you read the essays she tells you too, if you do, you'll pass all the quizzes. She can be very boring and redundant at times. If you're looking for an easy english course, take this class!

I loved this class.The quizzes arent as hard as everyone says because she discusses them. She repeats herself a lot so if you can't get an A you aren't paying attention. We had a few essays and a final paper which require MLA but it isn't so bad. I got As on all my papers so I don't understand why others say she grades hard.I'd take her again.

She is truly a teacher and you definately learn from her lectures. Its not an easy A but if you try hard then nothing is impossible. She is very hard on grading. I got B in comp1but took her again and got A to prove it that its not impossible to get A and prove that i am an A student anyway...lol

Amazing professor! For once, a professor who actually shows a love for the material she teaches. Her grading is kind of strict but if you show up for class and show an interest in the subject you are guaranteed a B. If you truly want to learn more about the amazing literature in our world then take this class, she can teach you so much!!

I loved this professor!She repeats herself a lot and makes it difficult to forget an assignment. If you show up for class, she will go around the world to help you with anything you need, but she is VERY strict with attendance. I wouldn't say its an EASY A but its certainly one of the easier college classes I have taken.

Very good teacher. Essay every week and a half. Quizes every week on 2 interesting stories.

She can never say something once. She repeats herself, and students no less than three times. She expects her students to remain quiet at all times, even during paired work. She doesn't respect her students to the degree she demands respect. The topics she chooses are boring. She's made me hate writing, and I want to be a writer!

She is a great teacher. I really enjoyed her class. She made things interesting and told stories. She is a little repetitive but it helps to hear things more than once. She tried to make things as easy as possible for her class. She is one of my favorite professors.

She is an OK professor. Always takes attendance, if you are absent when a quiz is being taken you automatically get a 0! Quiz's are easy, papers are easy and boring. Class is SO BORING, she tends to repeat herself a lot!

Great teacher. Not a big fan of comp classes but she was good. When the class was having problems with grammar she changed the syllabus to give a class to helping everyone catch up. Topics were fun to write just show up and do quizzes and you are fine. Our class had one bad student who didn't show up with her work other then that everyone did well.

She is a very nice, sweet professor. Take advantage of her office hours! Very helpful when writing essays, she'll tell you exactly what she looks for, my essays improved after meeting with her. Always read the stories, those are important in your grade. I'm taking this professor again for the next English.

English isn't my favorite subject. But Antommarchi did a fair job. Her weekly quizzes were easy if you read the short story she assigns. 5 Essays to write in the semester. A nice lady. My final grade: B+. Don't skip class, pay attention and just do the work. Many complain that she's grades harshly. Welcome to College, people.

She is the worst, confusing with instructions. Very hard assignments and harsh grader. Overall 2 essay papers, 1 research paper, a Mid-term, and a final. If you still have time get out of her class NOW!!! IT'S A TRAP...
