Takes comments way too personal. Spends much of class going Nowhere! Makes the class more difficult than it should be. Never looked forward to class. Needs to lighten up and cover more problems.

Worst Teacher ever, Massive euro-centric views opressed onto all non-european students who will never get a good grade in the class while any european (mainly eastern) will coast through the class coddled to an A. Hope she wont teach her long.

Harsh... If the Math dept. was just looking for a 'body' to show up & to have the Stat class availaable - they got it w/Musat! Not a teacher... Even Musat's on-line notes are not easily followed! Take EVANS--she's GREAT and goes the extra mile -- she's a born teacher!

she doesn't take attendance AT ALL, but grades you on attendance at the end of semester. she is demeaning and offended many people including myself in our class on several occasions. we used "course compass" for homework- a FANTASTIC tool for the class, but if the server is down, you get no credit, no sympathy. She should really be fired.

we filed a complaint. fails everyone. so rude and makes no sense. when 5 of my classmates and i filed the complaint we found out shes had a lot. she literally told my friend he was stupid and to sit down. diffuclt class and offers no help. she says you can talk after class and when you stay she says she has to go. 3/4 of our class failed.

One of the worst professors I've EVER HAD. I dropped her class because she was so terrible.

She does math her own way anf fails you for doing it any other way. Never gives an answer to a question, just tells you you are not paying attention. You can take the same class from a variety of professors and get a FAR better grade and actually KNOW the same material, where here you would fail and learn nothing. Why would you do that to yourself?

She is kind of intimidating and not very helpful. Tried to email her for help but all I received were one world responses. Make sure you look at her test reviews if you take her class because the tests are very similar to them. The course compass program is riddled with errors and the book is difficult to understand.

Terrible teacher. Terrible beyond belief. She lectures students on "doing homework" and "making effort" and treats them like toddlers. Worse teacher I've taken at Mission. Did okay in the class by not attending lecture because of how annoying she was. Used the book to self-teach. She uses Math-lab which is a fat pain in the butt because she is lazy

Her english is terrible and hard to understand. She treats students like children and will walk around the class to make sure you're following along. She was upset at me for doing hw 2 chapters ahead instead of joining the rest of the class. Class time really is useless. I don't recommend her and I won't consider her for my future classes.

She has got to be one of the worse teachers at mission college.She doesnt teach at all.She teaches the class using EXCEL, which makes her seem very lazy. She needs to use the white board and actually speak while shes doing the problem. She mostly says OKAY and SOLVE THIS.I DO NOT RECCOMEND HER AT ALL.She doesnt allow you to use calculators or notes

She uses my math lab, and excel to teach the class math, Shes the worse math 903 teacher, read the other reviews for math 903, she doesnt allow calculators. attendance is mandatory but she doesnt take roll. so idk how that grading part would work. I would not recommend any of you to take her for math 903. unless youre albert einstein

teacher is not good. she told class that we could do test by solving how we knew how but after test found that she mark it wrong due to different solving method. she doesnt care what you think is better for you. she thinks she is constantly right. not gd class cuz teacher. boring 3 hrs

Inconsistant and extremely unhelpful.

This professor is not good at all. Instead to help she made it harder, gives a full credit only if you do a problem on her way. Introduced some new way of marking that is different than in book. It is totally confusing!

30 students to 5 students. miss a symbol and you will lose tons of points. email response slow and not helpful -online class-

Musat doesn't keep contact with the class unlike other online teachers. You have to figure it all out on your own and she can be outright rude to students. She does not reply to email promptly. Hardest part is even if you get 100% on everything else, if you don't do well on your tests, you won't get a C. And she does not allow any notes for tests.

This was the worst class experience I've ever had. I walked into the first class and the Professor shouted at me. During the orientation, the guy next to me had his laptop at full volume, doing fantasy football drafts. "You are on the clock!" The classroom was in disarray! Professor said: "If you cant figure out the problem, just do the problem."

Terrible!! She is a nice person, but when it comes to being a professor it is nothing but bad news. She doesn't know how to deal with a class, especially elementary algebra that is full of students straught out of high school that are disruptive. She makes things very complicated and confusing. You can teach yourself better from reading the book.

hard class, easy subject. Online Intro to Stats. Extremely easy class but she is disorganized. She complains that students don't listen, but good students are just confused as she is so scattered. Marks down correct work on misunderstanding her structure. Personal insults to students, makes simple material hard. Better to learn it on your own.

Gets angry easily, makes people visibly uneasy. You have to teach yourself 2/3 of everything. BEWARE, people get the right answers but if you don't use HER SPECIFIC METHODS you lose HUGE amounts of pts on exam. No patience for English learners or people that need help. Use online help. Honestly, I've never met such a horrible teacher. She doubts her students' ability to do math. Try presenting a different way to solve a problem, she'll find a way to shoot it down. Worst teacher ever. Save your time and money and take a different professor.

I took her for an online class, and she never once responded to student messages or made any interactions with the class online or on campus; I learned everything through MyMathLab. She said a notebook proving your work with MML was required, but said/collected nothing on the final day. Very unclear. Definitely would not recommend. Ever.

HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO GET A DIFFERENT PROFESSOR!!! MOST OF THE TIME SHE SPENDS GIVING LIFE LESSONS INSTEAD OF TEACHING. SHE ALSO EXPECTS EVERYONE TO KNOW EVERYTHING ALREADY SO YOU END UP TEACHING YOURSELF.

She is a good person, but she doesn't know how to teach. I would rather gargle bleach then take her class again. She is a very bad communicator. She has long winded useless lecture. This professor is by far bad. She will grade your exams depending if she likes you or not. Don't ever show up to class since she will most likely spend 20 minutes discussing the work while spending the rest of time lecturing you on why you should work on your studying skills. She should be spending more time teaching instead of preaching.

She doesn't care about you. She talks how to be successful in this class but she doesn't teach the material in class. Takes forever to answer one problem. DON'T YOU DARE try to correct her mistakes she will call you out in front of the class. Don't take her class unless you have good command of the material.

Terrible math professor. She spend the class doing a couple of problems. Expect 4-6 hours every day studying for her class. She doesn't care if you don't understand the material and she talks about how to be successful in math. Fail a midterm, WHO CARES, she'll move on. Don't take her class unless you have more time in your hands.

Not sure if she doesnt have the gift of teaching or just being lazy. Lecture is very confusing: spent 100 minutes to explain 2 problems, only taught new material in the remaining 20 minutes. Sometimes the homework due is ahead of the new chapter. I have to study on my own to do the homework. Shed better only teach lower division classes.

Get ready to read the textbook and watch videos if you're going to take her class. She spends time teaching old material that we already learned and then 15 mins with the new material. She's knows the material but doesn't want to teach it. Good reviews are algebra classes. Don't recommend for higher math classes.

The class started off w/ 15 people in it, and now there's 6. To reiterate: OVER HALF THE CLASS dropped. And for good reason, too. Her lectures confuse students more than they help. She doesn't take responsibility when all students underperform due to her poor teaching and blames us instead. I'm good at math and am struggling in this class. Avoid!!!

Worst teacher I've ever had. She'll force students to do a question on the board and expects them to get it perfect when she hasn't shown us what to do herself. If you get the question wrong, get ready to be yelled at and lectured in front of the class. She gets upset when the entire class fails the test, doesn't think it's her teaching at all.

Three test in total (2 Midterms - 'C & F' and 1 Final 'C'). Weekly HW and Quiz due every week and gives some extra credit. Stressed most of the semester, but passed with a B. She can be confusing at times with directions and provides online "support".

DONT take during summer/winter semester. Material is not condensed & you will be miserable trying to complete everything. She claims canvas is non functional & you will never see your true grade represented. I would hardly call her a teacher as she has no involvement in teaching the material. She doesnt want you to reach out to her for help.

Prof Musat has next to no involvement in the course, and the textbook is awful (even Musat said so herself!) so expect this to be the most self-taught course youve ever done. Be sure to do all the extra credit- it makes a big difference at the end of the semester. HW is a big time commitment; if you do poorly on the HW, you have multiple attempts.

I definitely do not recommend anyone to take this professor. I took this class online this Summer and received an F, The Professor only gives homework and doesn't know how to teach.

I would not take any of her math classes unless you have a good command of the material. Lectures have no structures. Not accommodating to students and will shut you off for help. Never again.

Like others have said.. SHE DOES NOT TEACH. Got a question to ask her? She'll just tell you to read the textbook. Prepare to spend 15 hours a week on homework. Imagine spending hundreds of dollars on this course just to teach yourself with no support. Heck, I've learned more from my tutor at the cafe than from her.

Please stay away from this professor if you are wanting an easy class for business calculus. Get ready to be working your butt off because she really will make you work for it. Not worth it, AT ALL.

This Professor does not teach you anything.Math is hard and teacher should be there to at least help them with what they do not know. She do not have any zoom meeting in her online class, post lectures from a robot voice which makes you confused a lot. Exams are hard and you will just have to prepare for it by your own and she don't care about you.

Your best chances of passing this class is reading through the textbook, tutors, and watching YouTube to understand what you're trying to learn. This class is heavily test graded, taking 75% of your grade and there isn't any redo on them. Homework is on web assign and a quiz every week to go through so good luck cramming in two sections each week.

Worst Prof ever. if you ask question she will not help you with it. her lectures are the worst. she solve everything the hard and long way and expect you to do the same in the exam.

I took on Spring Semester, but this teacher needs a lot an improvement that she has a failing grades on this week. She don't care if what they just correct answers, doesn't matter they put of her mind.

Made this account just to post. Worst math teacher ever. Did the math, 320 question per week + excel + EC. Never available to answer emails and never available during office hours. I checked RMP often, this is horrible. NEVER take this class, made me cry everyday.

Beware of major stress

Worst teacher ever!!! SHE DIDNT EVEN TEACH THE CLASS!!! She has a text to voice bot do the lecture and I had about 100-300 homework problems per week and 50-150 quiz problems per week! It is possible to get an A in the class if you do NOTHING but this class. She is RUTHLESS when it comes to grading free response Q's and will not explain why!

Absolutely terrible prof that does not teach. RUN.

Do not take this class unless all you plan on doing is this class. Unrealistic amount of work in order to keep up. There is only time for you to read information once, but not nearly enough time to be proficient. Withdrew because I was spending 5 hours a day on this class and was still behind. At least don't take accelerated version as I tried to.
