Online Class-Highly recommend this instructor. She answers all your questions and helps you understand the subject. If you are math challanged, like I am, Dr. Weideman will help you through it!

Very hard class to take on line especially if you hate math. 2 chances for each quiz which helps. The tests are hard but not impossible. She helps you all the way both individually and in group talks. You can also email her at any time even weekends. I PASSES so she must be good. HaHa

Took this class online. You get 2 chances at quizzes, you should have no problem w/quizzes. 4 test, which you have to study for! Test were kinda hard if you didn't study. Quick responses to problems. NO extra credit in this class. There are also postings due almost each week, but they are not hard.

best stats class ever..and I've withdrawn from an other. she makes easy to follow notes. no calculator! you do nothing by hand. quizzes= 2 attempts and midterm/final is kind of easy. best math class ever. there is extra credit. do posts and you get 5 pnts to your final grade. overall excellent experience

Online honors w/contract-3 projects(not hard)in lieu of mid&final(she may do this for reg classes soon too so look out)/2 tries on quizzes/wkly discussions/ extra credit. Knows her stuff/works w you/material is hard but she is helpful/responds quickly/lecture notes make book useless/lots of info take over full term or take "easier" math if u can

I am notoriously bad at math, and I got A's on 3 tests in her class! She gives you more than enough resources on angel to help you pass and is always available for help. I would recommend utilizing all of her resources. I'm getting a B, and I didn't even use them all. I would definitely take her again and recommend her, she is a great teacher :)

She is a great professor. She does require homework and if you follow along online and in the book your set for the tests. She engages you and I have done better in her class than any other math! Dont be afraid to ask questions! :) Highly recommend!!!!

I wish all my math instructors were like her. She's fair and helpful. I loved activstats (sure beats the calculator). Reading is required although not essential, do not buy it. Her notes are wonderful. If you get confused with activstats she makes videos. I spent roughly 10-12 hours a week and managed a 98. I enjoyed the class.(now in NUR2 :( )

I recommend Mrs. Weideman for Stats! Every week u take a quiz online u get 2 attempts & u can work w/other students in the class if u want. u do 5 projects, lowest is dropped. And ur final exam is a project. Isn't too hard. u get graded on 2 journals that consist of book work, activstats & handouts u need to print out. I got an 86% overall.

She really kept this class as simple as Statistics can get. Answers emails promptly, offers campus office hours, and power points and handouts are easy to understand. Use ActivStats and the book as well as handouts - you can't go wrong! She offers extra credit so just participate! Highly recommend!

This professor is the best. Very lenient on assignments and lets you make up points on tests.Make sure you get your homework done on time, even if it is extended because it helps with reviewing for tests.Very helpful!

Statistics is a difficult subject for most, but Prof. Weideman gives students a lot of resources to help them understand. She is extremely helpful and her handouts for the class were priceless. I would highly recommend her for online classes. Anyone can pass, just be prepared to study a lot and do all of the work.

Summer online format is VERY fast paced, we covered 9 chapters in 2 weeks!! She is fab.

Amazing teacher! Make sure you have a good group/partner and dedicate at least 5-10 hours a week to this class. Plenty of ways to increase your grade. Highly recommended! I was so scared to take this class, but she makes it very painless.

Math is not a subject I normally don't do well in. I aced her class! If you stay on top of the homework, go to class you will do great. She is very helpful too! Please take Dr. Weideman for Liberal Arts 1. If you fail this class you did not try. She will help you every step of the way. I started off slow with the online assignments but I grabbed hold of how My Math Lab works. I ended up with a B for the fall semester. She's a Great Professor.

Not only is Dr. Weideman clear and thorough about the subject matter, but she is willing to help at all levels. Furthermore, when doing her assignments, you truly get a sense of a more clear understanding of the material, it does not feel like its just "busy work." She provides a lot of supplemental material to help with the topics being covered.

We are a week away from being done with the course and I can tell that I can get a 70 on the final and still have an A. So I feel pretty confident. I absolutely love this professor and plan on taking her this summer for Liberal Arts I..As long as you do the work you are guaranteed a good grade in her class, she does not give extra time but as long as you dont wait until the last minute you are good.

I was scared to death entering this class. Math has always been my weakness. Do the homework, watch the video's and take the practice tests over and over and over! They help identify where you need help! Then review her notes to strengthen yourself. I got a 100% on final and walked away w/a 96%! Took her online and would do it again. :-)

Math is my worst subject, but I'm surprised at how much I learned in her course! While there weren't any curved tests, she did give everyone many opportunities to raise their grades. You use MyStatlab, and she would leave the HW open so you could go back and raise your score anytime. She gave extra credit for discussions, and practice exams.

Amazing teacher! Mid term and final with a couple chapters of hw a week with a quiz. This was a summer course but if it was a normal semester it would have been a breeze. Prof gives live web chat once a week to go over all the hw chapters as well as mid term and final. Also gives extra credit on mid term and final. Great Prof!

Absolutely fantastic professor. I failed remedial math twice and was terrified of this class, especially online but she is seriously amazing. Tough course over summer but she is extremely patient and helpful, she makes everything seem so easy. Tons of extra credit, weekly video chats & extra hw videos and very quick to respond to emails. Prof. Weideman was a lot of help to me when I took her. I will be taking her for my next math course as well. Her assignments are clear cut and she always responds promptly to questions or clarification for discussion posts. I took her class online and the pearson lab material is necessary for all homework and most quizes.

My major requires a lot of math, and she is literally the best math teacher I have ever had. In stats, she uses group projects instead of tests to show what you know and that is brilliant because you learn what is giving you trouble and use stats in the "real world".TAKE HER! Dr. Weideman is awesome! This is the second online math course I have taken with her. I am by no means a mathematician, but she made this class super easy! She does weekly chat sessions and records them if you are unable to attend. These chat sessions make the material so easy to understand. If you are taking classes online, definitely take her!

Dr. Weideman is by far one of the best professors at St. Petersburg College. She really cares about the success of her students and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone understands all of the concepts taught in the class. Dr. W is a good prof, I've taken her for 2 diff courses & her format is simple & precise. Lectures are in class & all HW/quizzes are primarily on Pearson.. Group projects are required. The only thing I didn't like were the "reflections" which quiz you on the material the day b4 she goes over it... Either way, I'd take her again if i needed to.

Dr. W is an amazing prof that finally got me to understand stats! Failed my 1st try with another prof; wish I'd taken her first. Very accessible. Makes sure you understand concepts. 4 group projects; homework, is online & you can retry until correct. If you miss class, you can view her online class podcast. Funny & warm - loves her students!

Weideman is BY FAR the best professor I've ever had. The way that she sets up her assignments and lessons, makes it so that I FINALLY understand Algebra, and can retain it which has always been an issue for me. Always prompt with grading, and I have never been more prepared for a midterm. If you have to take a math class, take this professor.

Professor Weideman is the best professor I've had at SPC. This was my second math course taken with her and before taking classes with her I was totally lost in math all together. She goes out of her way to help you understand and pass, she gives a little bit of extra credit and only weighs the exams as 20% of your grade. Plenty of room to do well.

Amazing! I was scared to death to take Stats let alone online but seriously this teacher is amazing. Multiple attempts to improve your homework scores each week and even can take tests up to 3 times over online. Would 100% recommend online version of this class. I got a 98 average. Professor Weideman helped make Math understandable. I haven't done Math in a long time in school and it was very difficult to do over again. Dr. Weideman is wonderful, She really wants everyone to succeed. I took her blended class so we only meet once a week. No midterm or final but there are 3 to 4 group projects. All quizzes online and you can take them 3 times with no time limit. My only complaint is that she does go a little fast in class sometimes it was hard to keep up.

Nervous about taking Stats? Take this class with Dr. Weideman. I'm not a math-minded person, so I was nervous about this class. Dr. Weideman gives you plenty opportunities to practice the concepts so that you actually learn, and aren't just memorizing for the test. TAKE HER FOR MATH!!! I took Stats once and failed and a friend recommended her to me. She is awesome, there is no way you cant pass unless you're just lazy and don't do anything. Shes willing to help if you just ask. Trying to get into nursing and this class was my road block until I found her! She's so sweet and easy going, you'll love her.

Great professor! 4 easy discussions, some vocabulary quizzes, nothing crazy. Take her, especially if you struggle with math.

Dr. Weideman is a true gem and her method of teaching STATS is concise. She doesn't require remembering all of those crazy formulas and does testing and homework online. She's technologically progressive and teaches STATS in a similar way. Don't slack off though, she's fantastic but you can't be lazy in this course. STAY UP TO DATE ON ASSIGNMENTS!

I'm not good at math and have a hard time staying motivated. She's really hands on with the material online and gives you a lot of opportunities to keep your grade up. Not only does she send individualized emails but, she's understanding and works with you to pass. Definitely suggest her if you're doing math online.

Profess W. is amazing. I have taken stats once before and received an F. She uses technology to do statistics which is incredible, I don't think I could have passed this class had I not had her. Lots of homework, 3 easy group projects that you do not have to present in front of the class and 6 unit tests! You'll regret NOT taking her!

This was the best math teacher I have ever had, and I'm disappointed that I only found her for my final math credit. She is very clear on her expectations and allows you to work mostly at your own pace, sends encouraging reminders weekly to let you know how you're doing, and gives you every opportunity to get an A. Can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Weideman has absolutely been the BEST online professor I have ever had! I usually dread taking math but she made the experience enjoyable. She does weekly lecture videos explaining step by step how to do that weeks homework problems. She also does the same for midterm/final. LOVED Dr. Weideman! Right out the gate she communicates directly the whole nine yards the entire semester. 5 discussions,21 homeworks,5 tests. Drops lowest score on everything. Extra credit for your midterm & final. SURPRISED at how easy & fabulous the Honorlock program works! Just use a cheap, unused, laptop specifically for the Honorlock exams.

I am not good at math but the class was not to hard. It was a lot of work but it helped me understand the work. She gave extra credit for her mid-term and final and gave good reviews. I had trouble with my laptop while on honor lock and she was very understanding. I would highly recommend her class. She also responded very fast to my emails.

Dr. Weideman made a class that is oftentimes difficult on first interaction extremely accessible and easy to understand. The live lectures covered the section handouts for the homework, which was considerably light. Two chances on Unit Tests and only the midterm and final were proctored. Take her if you can, wonderful professor!

Elementary Statistics, for people that are not good at math is not an easy course. However, if you pay attention, do the homework, stay engaged and want to learn this is the class for you. I only rate professors that fall into 2 categories: those that hinder my learning & those that inspire & motivate learning. Professor Weideman falls into the latter category. She is easily one of the top 5 teachers I've ever encountered (I'm 52) and the effort and care she puts forth is extraordinary. She made me want to do well in her class.

Dr. Weideman makes a subject that most find intimidating very easy to understand. She creates detailed guides from the textbook and goes over homework questions in class. She even helped with one of my own research projects outside of class! If math isn't your strongest subject, take her!

Prof. Weideman is AMAZING! I struggle with the subject of math of any level, but Prof. Weideman makes sure her students understand the content and is willing to explain problems as much as you need her too. Dr. Weideman is an amazing professor. I took Mathmatics for Liberal Arts online for the spring semester and it was a breeze. As long as you keep up with the assignments and make sure to submit everything on time you will get a passing grade with no problem. She also offers extra credit toward the end of the semester. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

All homework is online through MyMathLab. The individual chapters are listed before the homework and teach you everything you need to know to solve the problem. I will say unless you need extra help you will just get weekly reminders of the assignments and thats it. Easy A once you understand the material! Drops lowest grade on HW and tests.

I took her for both Statistics and Liberal Arts II. She is hands down the best math teacher I have ever had and I am not sure anyone can fill her shoes. I wish I could take her for my classes at university. Every single question on her tests/quizzes she went over in class. Amazing and gifted teacher.

Recently i took Class QMB3200. It was statistics. I appreciated how Pr. Weideman took the time to address specific points in my work. All assignments were laid out in a clear and organized manner. There was never any confusion about what was expected, Also, Immediate email responses, fast grades, and clear feedback. Highly recommended.
