Very nice lady. Liked to get to know her students on a personal level and is flexible when things come up in life that mess with school stuff. Lets you turn in papers twice and gives you the higher grade.

Very easy teacher. Easy to understand and really cares about her students success. Group exercises are extremely easy and helpful.

Great Teacher. Alot of group activities and writing assignments. Almost too easy because in the end you don't feel like you learned anything. If you need easy units when all other classes are hard take her. very easy and sweet teacher.

She's very nice, funny, and helpful. If you want to get english 1a out of the way she's the one to take. Very leaniant on due dates if you have a legitimate excuse. If you have a presentation bring candy for the whole class,she loves snickers!

Carol Cellucci is the most inspiring, intelligent, and helpful English instructor I’ve ever met. It is the first time in my 32 years that I wanted to be in the English classroom.

Carol is a great teacher. I think we did 3 essays and a research paper. Watched a couple movies and wrote an in-class essay on each. Her class is very easy but whatever you do don't take the 4 hour class because it is extremely boring. However, in her defense, any 4 hour class is probably boring.

She is very passionate about English. She makes the writing assignments fun. you have the chance to re-write everything you do. she is always willing to work with you if you miss class.

Another really good Teacher at MC. Want a hip teacher take her.

Awesome Prof.only 4 papers and she lets you rewrite them for a better grade.just show up and she'll like you, but read the book she assigns cuz there's an essay on it.she's way into creative writing so if your like that then she'll LOVE you. if you do the work, which isnt that much, then you should get an A

I couldn't ask for a better teacher. She totally understands what literature and good writing is all about. Never criticises your individual style just helps you take it to a whole new level. All the structered english teachers who lost sight of what literatures about should get some pointers from Carol.

The best thing about her is that she will let you write about absolutely anything you want in your essays. She really likes creative writing, so throw in a simile or something into your paper. Class was never boring, she always had something fun or interesting planned. I think she's great. A little crazy at times, but great.

this lady is totally in her own world! but i recommend her to anyone because she is so tight and lets you write whatever you want...a really easy A if that's what you want!

Carol is a wonderful teacher, she hasn't lost sight of apreciating what you've accomplished and tells you so in class, unlike other english teachers that only critizise your effort to create. I loved her openess to let you explore.

she is real easy, highl recomended...just do the work and u be fine...she get annoyed fast and acts crazy...3 in class essay and includign final..3 out of class essay and a reacearch paper...u can re do most of them..do u work and u be in..she wear the skimpest clothes

shes a nice lady. she says alot of stuff (rules and regulations) that she never goes through with. you really can get away with alot. you can redo every essay even if you get an A-. i found her to be a tad difficult. just talk to her if you have any concerns, she likes invovled, concerned students. hates when people talk in class.

Extremely generous teacher, always willing to help. It's true that she's a little weird, but she gives many, many extensions on deadlines if you give her an excuse. Allows you to use essays written for other classes, fair grader and very accepting of different opinions. Would definitely take another class with her.

It's strange to hear these negative comments. I never saw judgement on her part. She always seemed really relaxed and approachable to me. I loved her class and in fact she might be my favorite so far at Moorpark. Her's is the only class I've taken and have worked on my writing with her techniques after the semester ended.

The previous comments shock me because I found her to be very kind, approachable and sympathetic to her students. Text book use is "mostly" up to your own discretion but your papers will reflect material covered/not covered in your outside reading. It's easy to get an A if you just try in her class. I loved her. She might be my favorite at Moorpark

She is a fun interesting teacher. She is really interested and loves what she does. which makes you love it to. alot of writing and essays but with essays you can redo them for a better grade. Which is great i know i went into this class an okay writer and i came out a good one. Love her i would so take her again.

Don't buy the textbook for this class. I think we used it maybe four times...I loved the professor.

GREAT TEACHER!! I highly reccomend carol. she is a great teacher. Don't buy the books bc we used them maybe once. total of 6 essays and one research paper. Let's you rewrite all the outside essays. Easy A. Usually comes to class and has no idea what shes going to teach but shes a wonderful teacher. I would definitely take her again.

She is extremely energetic and always ready to help. you can usually leave early once you have a good idea of what the rest of the class will be like, and shes very understanding about essays. she gives you many opportunities to better your work. TAKE THIS CLASS! :)

Carol is an amazing teacher. Definitely an easy A, you can rewrite your essays (whose prompts you choose) as many times as you want. Super helpful. So nice and really loves english. She's also funny and understands everyone's busy. lenient with extensions and late work as long as you're reasonable about it. don't buy the books, you don't need them.

What an amazing Professor! Rarely, do you see a Professor so helpful and so energetic as she is. Although, she might seem intimidating she really has a heart of gold. Always willing to help and is never late. She loves teaching the material and you can literally go from an "F" to an "A" with ease. Just take the tips she gives you and you are golden

GREAT TEACHER! Allows you to choose what you would like to werite about and re-write each paper for a better grade. 3 papers, 2 In Class Essays, and 1 Research paper but NO FINAL! Show your face in class and participate and she will love you.

What a lovely Professor! As long as you come to class you will get an "A" and you will be on her good list. Do NOT BUY THE BOOKS (except Frome) I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THE BOOKS! It is absolutely crucial that you do your work and she will even let you turn assignments late for full credit and you can redo all your work. EASIEST A.

Carol is a great teacher. She's very helpful when you ask the right questions. Allows you to re-write your outside essays to get the best grade possible. No final which allowed you to focus on your research paper and Ethan Frome paper. The class is relaxed but you must attend every class and it helps your final grade if you do.

Carol is an incredible instructor with a knack for getting the material out there and getting everything over with. She has a real talent for going up there and getting the information across but you have to listen to her or you will not succeed. She even let one student take the final (Ethan Frome) late because she liked al her students. Amazing.

I love her and I miss her dearly now that the class has ended. She is a sensational person with a uplifting personality. Always comes to class in a good mood and loves teaching the material. She gets the information across with relative ease and even lets you turn in papers from the beginning of the semester on the day of the final. She is cool! :)

She is so awesome! I loved her class! Carol was always so energetic and so helpful. I cannot believe she does not teach ENG M1B. She is so freaking nice! Students take advantage of her but she is way too pure to even notice. For example, half the class leaves before the class ends and she thinks they have emergencies (every day). Very nice woman.

I took Carol for ENG 101 and she is so freaking nice! Laid back class, not too picky, lets you redo all your assignments, and has a great attitude. Never late, always helpful never boring, never missed class, etc... She is a golden Professor! I switched my major to English only because she is so awesome. All in all, a great Professor! You will really like her class and the way it is constructed. She is a lady that really just likes to go with the flow (i.e. turning in assignments in on a specific date, rewriting papers, etc...). Never, does she not allow you to makeup your paper for a higher grade. You can go from an F to an A if you really want. Ask her for help and I promise A

The best thing about her is that she is simple and does not like to bore students with details. Just gets to the point and moves on and then if you mess up (ever) you can make up your grade at anytime during the semester (even on the day of Final Examination). Carol is an awesome Professor with a great teaching technique. Easiest Class at Moorpark!

Professor Cellucci knows what's up! She teaches in a way that really gets you to learn a lot and digest the information she gives. A lot of group interactions and films screened in class. Never is late nor absent and loves teaching English. Her notes are kind of all over the place so I would not recommend her. I went from a C to an A. Really nice!

Cellucci is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Shes SO nice & passionate about teaching, and never rude to anyone. 6 assignments in all: 3 essays that we got to write whatever we wanted and redo for a higher grade, a research paper that she helps you with every step of the way,& then 2 in class test/essays which are both super easy. Love her!

She is a great teacher and makes you work hard to get an A. She has changed her ways and is very much different, I became a better writer though because of her. TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO LEARN, IT IS NOT AN EASY A. She may have been lenient in the pass, but she is no longer.

Great teacher! My boyfriend and I took him our first semester at moorpark and loved her class. She wants you to succeed so she let's you re write your essays. So you would have no excuse to not get an A. The class isn't hard at all if you do what's asked of you! She's sweet and is understanding of people! Get to be her friend and your set! EASY A!

A good teacher but a little cinfusing. Gives good critical feedback on your poems/stories but the outline of the class was a little hard to follow. A lot of people were confused about when the final portfolio was due and other stuff. A fun teacher but getting a little forgetful. Easy class as long as you listened carefully

Sweet, but forgetful & unorganized sometimes. Good @ giving constructive criticism, replies to e-mails fast. Free 2 write subject matter of your choice, though requires at least 2 of each: prose, short story & poems (free 2 choose your own style). In final portfolio will accept work in progress. Do Not Need Book! Creative Writing fun&easy A!

Follow the syllabus. 1 narrative, 1 compare/contrast, 1 example, 10 pg research paper, 2 in class essays. Use the writing center! Carol is a great teacher willing to help with anything you need. Attend the class, participate, do the work and you will get an easy 'A'. Thanks Carol for a GREAT experience! =)

Easy class! Let's you rewrite essays. The novel we read, Ethan Frome, is short and has cliff notes for it. The research paper is pretty easy; she gives us a lot of class time to work on it. 100 of the points are attendance and participation. Great class.

If you're a good student, her favorite, or just show her you're working hard, then she's an easy "A"! The big papers are: 1 narrative, 1 compare-contrast, 1 example (and she lets you rewrite these 3 for a better grade!), 10 page research, and 2 in class essays. Attending class everyday and the Writing Center will boost your grade at the end!

Shes a very nice teacher, theres 3 essays(can be rewritten numerous times.) most of the days we just sat behind computers "researching" very easy to get an A anyone complaining obviously didnt try what so ever. If you just do the simple work you should easily get an A.

Cellucci was lovely– I'm glad I took her! If you don't get an A on the first turn in she gives you feedback and lets you re-write for an A. It's crazy! She realllly likes it when you speak up in class, so do it- easy way to get a bunch of points. Take her for sure!

If you just need to take English for credit, take Cellucci. My AP English classes were more intense than hers. You show up to class, do some in-class reading, turn in the 4 assigned essays on time (narrativedescriptive, comparecontrast, examplepersuasion, research paper), and you'll get an easy A!

Honestly, she is there for her students, it can be a very personal class. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU NEED TO KNOW is to participate, when you write a poem, or a short story, you NEED to present in in the class in front of the podium. There is no tests, but you need a portfolio at the end of the course and fill it with poems and short stories.

I don't usually rate a professor unless they're marvelous or horrendous, and professor Cellucci falls under marvelous for me. Never have I had a teacher that has cared so much for my success. Not a hard class at all but very educational. If you pay attention, do your homework on time, and participate you will pass the class with an A no problem.

The concepts and writing styles I learned in this class helped me through my BA and MS at CSUCI. Carol did a GREAT job!

Cellucci is very quirky but shes really caring. Shes super down to Earth and creative. Shes like everyones crazy aunt and you can't help but love her. Sometimes its confusing to know exactly what she wants but just be a good kid and do your best and she'll give you an a.

Love her, she is such sweetheart and helps with any problem. I was struggling with English and would never like it, but she changed that for me. She helped me through that tough time and got me very interested in the subject.

Very nice and caring teacher. May decide to extend some papers' deadlines after receiving and reviewing them to ensure students learn how to write that paper correctly and with proper formatting. She wants the students to get writing right. Fair amount of essays. Shows TED talks and current events so students can be aware of the world's happenings
