The class is easy the group projects are a breeze, so is the midterm the final was difficult but she curves it You do not even have to buy a book for the class she gives you the notes from which you can study that is unless you are interested in teh subject and want an indepth knowledge Good teacher

She is a wonderful professor. She has lot of experience in business and put that knowledge when discussing cases. Exams are not so hard; two group presentations which are very easy.

Kind of strange, but very nice and helpful. Online class is extremely easy, just do the easy case studies every week and you'll get an easy A. She doesnt even care if the answer is right or wrong, you will always get full credit if you do it. Easy term paper on a company of your choosing. Final is a bit confusing. Highly recommend this online class

The professor is really good she is easy and you have one h.w every week for the test just study the cases you do and you will do very good in the midterm and final. I highly recommend the professor.

I'm not a business major and took her class just to fill up my schedule and also b/c it counts as a psych class. She is extremly easy. there's a weekly assignment about a paragraph long, 1 paper and in class final. final was 20 multiple choice question based from the sample test she gave a month earlier(easy). I barely read the book and got a b

Prof. Connell is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and very professional. She will answer your questions very clearly. Class was not difficult but assignments required some very boring case studies. I highly recommend her!

Overall a good professor but tends to ramble on at times. The textbook is a must for case studies assigned each week. Not difficult if you pay attention.

For the Bus 50.1 course, she is the best professor. Midterm and Final exams are just piece of cake. If you do the weekly homeworks, you will do fine. Really not a hard class. Definitely take her again.

Carol Connell is a great professor, she is very knowledgeable and professional in instructing her courses. You will learn a lot and the projects that you will do reinforce your understanding of the material. Overall, a positive experience and recommend taking her classes.

She's a nice professor. If u email her or ask her questions she will answer them and help u. She's not really a hard grader although the final project is a bit difficult. The final exam was easy. The discussion board questions were interesting and informative. The only thing is that she can be vague in explaining what she wants at times. Take her!

I love Prof. Connell. I took her class online and I liked it. If you deserve an A grade, there are 3 things you should do:1.Post your participation on the blackboard discussion that she gave you. 2. Final paper case. 3. Study on her notes. That's all.

A GOOD PROF. FOR BUSN 4200W CLASS. I THINK THE COURSE WORKS ARE WAY MORE THAN OTHER COURSES. 13 WEEKLY CASE WORKS. 2 TEAM CASE PRESENTATIONS. ONE FINAL EXAM WHERE YOU MOSTLY USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. GOOD THING IS THAT PROF. CONNELL IS VERY HELPFUL AND ANSWERS ANY QUESTIONS BY E-MAIL VERY QUICKLY. BUT MOSTLY, YOU HAVE TO LEARN THE STAFFS BY YOUR OWN.

Ive heard horrible stories about Macro economics but after taking this class with Connell, macro is NOT as bad as everyone says it is. DEF take her !

This is a course that requires a lot out of you. Heavy emphasis on case studies, group projects, team work; etc. I took this course online and I would have to say my experience was pleasurable. However, the final exam was very challenging as the questions did not focus on what we did throughout the entire semester.

Prof. Connell is a wonderful professor. She is very approachable and learns your name really quick. She seems like the type of professor who cares more about effort and doesn't go by test grades! The homework will be based on cases and it's online. It's not hard if you do the reading. Overall she is an A+ professor.

I had this professor for International Business and Marketing. She was really great, it was an online class, but she was proactive, easily accessible. She made an interesting class even more appealing.

Everyone should take a class with professor Connell. Most hilarious and genuine professor on this BC. She excepts you to work on your own but she's there to support you along the way.

Not that much work other than the long group project. Tests are pretty easy. Would recommend

MUST TAKE! I had no idea this class was this easy, aside from the 8-10 page paper (double spaced). I took it online over the summer. Group project was a little annoying because it was a "group" thing. Midterm was online, and every weekend online group discussions.

Homework was online every week, 3 questions each time. Be prepared to meet in groups every week and do a group project as well. Professor Connell is a great professor otherwise. Definitely knows her stuff and she's very willing to work with you as long as you participate and get the work done.

I took this class in the winter. I must say, i did learn a lot with Connell. We met once a week in class, then all the assignments had to be submitted on blackboard. Weekly group cases, discussion board questions on blackboard, online midterm, 5 page paper and final is what this class was about. She responds quickly when she's needed. Take Her.....

Took BUSN3170 during the winter, F/O course. Professor posted all the notes/ppts needed online and makes it easy for you to do well in this class. weekly discussions, one midterm/final/paper. Professor is very open to communicating with students. Worth taking classes w/ her!

Professor Connell is one of the best professors of Brooklyn College. It was my pleasure to take her class. Homework almost every week, not easy A. Tests are not difficult at all

I didn't expect this prof will give me a high grade, cause I didn't know anything she says but I do most of the homework that she gives. There are two exams, midterm and final, the first midterm was online and final in class, both are multiple choice. If you pass those exams I think is easy to pass the class, also she will call people to answer hw.

No clue why people are saying that she is a "difficult" professor when she is the opposite. Meet in class once a week. Homeworks are usually due the day before class meetings. Gives extra credit events (10 extra points each) and she applies these points to the area mostly needed. Multiple choice midterm online, but final in class. TAKE HER!!!! EASY

This is a winter session, 3 assignments consist of 8-10 short answer questions based on 4 assigned readings, online mid-term (MC/TF) and final (MC/TF) plus a 650-700 words paper. Exams and paper are faily easy, you need to do the assigned readings because they are all based on the content. Highly recommended, do your work and get an A.

I took this course during the short winter semester. It is a lot of work and a lot of reading but she provides excellent resources if you are disciplined enough to study and read at the required pace.

She is very nice and easy to reach outside of class. However, this class is completely useless. Every week long readings & assignments. Pretty hard midterm and final. lectures boring, also pointless nothing to do with midterm, final or HW. You're expected to know 4 years of business classes in this class. I wouldn't take unless required. & No E.C.

Took her BUSN4200W NET1 Fall 18'. You have to purchase the Harvard Case Studies Pack. Some cases are easy, some you have to use a lot of critical thinking and math. It wasn't extremely hard. There is a 10 page final paper. Start it early if you can. Read the cases early and submit them on time. Overall not a very hard class, she also has EC panel.

I was struggling during COVID-19 and Professor Connell was very accommodating. I did two business projects from a Harvard course packet. It was certainly challenging and took work but aced it. There were also smaller assignments that were difficult to keep up with during uncertainty. There were exams that were ok. I encourage you to communicate.

Professor Connell is very nice and easy, just weekly discussion boards and quizzes. and 1 midterm and final that's it. All multiple choice. Over all very easy class for writing-intensive and the professor is also very helpful and caring.

Honestly very easy, just grades things so late it might cause anxiety. The project criteria was extremely unclear. Still reccommend.

Professor Connell is kind and easy to work with. The course includes weekly discussion boards and quizzes, along with one midterm and one multiple-choice final. It is an easy writing-intensive class, and the professor is very helpful. Students who score in the 99th percentile on the Peregrine exam are exempt from the final and receive a 100.
