An excellent instructor, very willing to work with me. Plan to take more classes with her.

Martinson's class is very easy. She makes the course enjoyable and involves everybody. Also she is very funny and is down to earth. There are about 5 essays to write and the final is an essay, that's it. Couple presentaions, very simple. Only thing is she is always late passing back papers. Bring food and your guaranteed an "A!" :)

Very good Professor. Easy to understand and keeps a potentially boring subject fun. Well worth it. Assignments are clear and she is very helpful.

She is an easy A. Very good teacher everything is clear and you pretty much know what you will be doing in class. She has a routine and pretty much sticks to it. Except with passing back papers, but other than that everything else is great. Bring food and you will make her happy!

I felt that Professor Wolverton was a wonderful English teacher. I admit that she did not always turn papers in right away, but since she gives an almost easy A, I feel that this makes it much easier for me to accept getting a paper late. Also, she is very fun while teaching the class, she makes the time go by quickly- she is great- take her! :)

I had Martinson for Comp 1 honors. Her class is easy for the most part. Her papers are graded more on grammar and punctuality than anything else.

Keeps class very exciting, pretty laid back just don't push it. I enjoyed the class way more than I assumed I would. Only problem for me was how fast you move through papers... you start one before you finish the last..

She's a funny person, easy to be around. She loves to talk about her kids and her husband, which tends to sometimes get old. the assignments are simple, mostly papers and responses to essays and the like. Overall, she's a good professor.

Professor Martinson is great!!! She is really helpful whenever you have a question. It isn't very hard to get an A as long as you do all of your essay, use the book for the take home MLA test, and keep your folder organized for the notebook check.

Her class is very fun and easy. Sometimes we would have parties in her class and everybody would bring in food. I do have to warn you about one thing. You will get tired of hearing her squeaky little voice. She sounds like Jimmys teacher from Jimmy Neutron. LOL

Prof. Martinson is by far the BEST teacher at PSC! I have taken both Comp1 and Comp2 with her and have enjoyed every mineute of it. She is willing to go the distance in order for her students to succeed. I would and have recommended her to any student taking a course she teaches. Overall, great person, easy to get along with, and AMAZING teacher!

I LOVED PROFESSOR MARTINSON! She was hillarious and made class fun to attend! Make sure you attend class everyday and keep up with your notebook. She dosen't give tests besides the final and she assigns papers thoughout the semester. The final consists of 3 separate tests: Grammar,an In-Class Essay & Presentation. Shes giving away bearded dragons!=

Professor Martinson is extremely helpful! She rarely lets her students out earily... We have group discussions, and have a lot of class participation. I really enjoyed ENC 1101... if only she taught ENC 1102!

GREAT TEACHER! TONS OF FUN! BUT WHEN ITS TIME TO WORK, ITS TIME TO WORK. ITS AN EASY A, AS LONG AS YOU DO THE ESSAYS AND THE RESEARCH PAPER... ITS GOING GREAT BY THE WAY, JUST CANT FIND A GOOD TOPIC.. :( OTHER THAN ALL THAT, THE CLASS IS A BLAST.

Professor Martinson is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. She is very clear in what she wants accomplished. Also she is very lax and treats everyone with the utmost respect. You will get an A with effort and doing what she asks. I would encourage everyone to take her class. I wish she taught 1102.

Class Is Easy. Just do The Work and Show Up for each class. The people below had her online class, Which i wouldnt take. If you want a A in the class all you have to do is for each final Draft essay you go to the TLLC building and get a tutor to help you out. And then you will have a A. Its only easy if you do the work and dont slack off.

Professor Martison is an excellent teacher. She's very helpful and knowledgable. As long as you come to class and complete your assignments on time you will pass her class. I will recommend taking her class for ENC 1101.

Was not excited about a comp class until I took her class. She kept things interesting and was always helpful. Never felt swamped and never got bored. Overall one of my favorite classes, wish I could take her in the summer.

Great teacher. Loved the course material. I learned a lot more than I expected I would. If you work hard and spend time on the class, you'll get an A. Just read her instructions carefully and if you don't know how to do something, email her or google it. I found her to be excellent resource for deciding a research topic, asking questions, etc.

Really enjoyed her class. If you know how to write, you will make an A. Know your MLA. If you don't, make sure that you check your work. Buying MS-Word and setting it up properly helps. Learn from your mistakes, or she WILL nail you. If you are too lazy to write a good paper and proof it, you may have trouble. She is a sweetheart.

Best professor ever! If you show up to class, do the work, and follow directions... you will pass! She is straight to the point on the first day of class, you follow those expectations you will be fine. I took her for two English classes and passed them both with A's

Be sure to take notes! Text book use is a must. The first 6 week course I ever took and it turned out great!! Professor M is so nice and friendly, very laid back. Work load is not bad but don't expect to cruise and get an A.

I haven't been in a school setting in more than 20 years. If all professors were like Professor Martinson, college life would be more interesting. At first, I was second guessing myself, but Professor Martinson made me comfortable about my studies.

Mrs. Martinson wants her students to be active in class. I wish she would support all of her students to achieve there god given talents with the choice they make for careers. She said to us most students drop out of college it would be wise to say students how can this college make you have better impact of being here.

She is very easy! The class is not about English at all to me. Besides the class starts which are watching videos and responding to them. Papers are easy as heck! Love love love her. She also has a great sense of humor .

She is a great teacher but does not explain some things very well. There is a research paper at the end of the course and there was not much explanation on how to do it. Other than this, she is a great teacher and I would take her again.

I took this class online with this professor and I was nervous because I had never taken an online class before but professor martinson had everything organized and easy to understand when things were due she made my first online class very easy for me. Shes an easy grader and if you need a literature class I would recommend her for sure!

She is very caring. Willing to help you with anything. She is very chill. Her FYE class is super easy. you just have to skim through the book and show up. I had a friend take her for ENC1102 and she said she never really learned anything. If you care about you care about your education then you probably shouldn't take her English class.

Prof Martinson is AMAZING!!!!!!! This class focused on "hot topics" in America and writing responses, summaries, and essays about them. It was a lot of writing but it made me a better writer by practicing so much. Her classroom set up is awesome as the students sit in a circle. This way makes it easier to engage in discussions. I LOVED her class!!

Professor Martinson is a fantastic professor. There is a big project known as the AIR project due at the end of the semester that requires you to create a PowerPoint presentation. The classwork is basically a "class start" where you write down your thoughts on famous quotes or video clips. She also takes you to events on campus during class time.

Professor Martinson has truly made my first year college experience so special! She truly cares about her students, and she brightens my day! Many of times she asks how students are doing in other classes, and also assists you in seeking help in difficult courses. And you will hear, "Turn toward the problem and engage", a million times!

I took Mrs. Martinson's SLS1122 class and it was amazing! She is very caring and wants to see her students succeed in college. Her SLS class is an easy A but you have to attend and do the homework that is required to pass her class. I am planning on taking both ENC1101 and ENC1102 with her next spring and summer.

Professor Carol Martinson is more than just a true gem. She is one of the best professor on Lakeland campus, because she honestly cares about students success. Professor Martinson loves her job and her personality shows it to be true. Her class isn't boring and she's very supportive of her students. Her affect on me make me want to to do my best.

I absolutely love her second time taking her would highly recommend. Shes not to picky with attendance as long as you email her and say what happened

Best teacher ever!!! I took her for First Year Seminar and she will be there for you every step of the way. She really brings out your inner outrovert and really pulls the whole class together to become a real family. I absolutely enjoyed this class and was absolutely worth it.

I took 6 wk summer class. Make sure that you have good time management skills to be able to complete the work in this short class. Essay per week and several discussions. You will get the grade that you deserve with the work that you put in. A wonderful professor to have for this class.

Super nice, laid back, & caring. Took her for my First Year Seminar class. Assignments are easy and clear. Not much quizzes. Literally got an A on every assignment. Just follow the directions on each module & you will pass. Also does not give a lot of homework & gives you 1-2 weeks to complete them.

Martinson cares extremely about her students and only wants them to succeed. I took her for First Year Seminar, and it was an easy A+. Biweekly discussions, and some small projects here and there, though u will have a project to interview someone in your career field. I recommend her, but the only con is that she takes a while to grade things.

Professor Martinson is a great teacher! she likes students engaging in her class on various controversial topics which is nice! Would take her class again. She gives us homework but it is easy. She is understanding, helpful and funny. Love her!

Professor Martinson is the best I've ever had. Be prepared to learn, do the work in/ out of class, show up to every class, do your homework, be organized and study. Be persistent and you will pass. Take this class if you want to be successful past college and now. But do not take this class if you do not want to be successful outside of college.

Professor Martinson is the best English professor at PSC. She goes out of her way to ensure all students succeed. Do yourself a favor and take her!!

Assignments and grading are very clear. There are a lot of discussion posts. Grading took about a week, but she took the time to let you know what needed to be fixed. The final project was fun. She gave five different options for you to choose from. I acted out a play for mine.

She is amazing, very inspirational, and flexible. I had other friends who took this course but with other professors and they would tell me how much of a hard time they had doing their assignments. Unlike me, I understand everything and had a good time in this course with Mrs.Martinson.
