Intelligent and incisive and the best teacher that I have had in years. She knows what the students need and she makes math fun. She is definitely an asset to SCC. I recommend this instructor to anyone that wants to learn and move on the higher math.

I had her for Intermediate Algebra and she is AWESOME!!! I took this class over the summer and I failed BAD!!! I took it again with Mrs. Perezhula, and I passed with a 98. She definately enjoys her job and is willing to help you in anyway possible. I definately recommend taking her if you can!!!

Mrs. P is the best math teacher at SCC. I had her for Intermediate Algebra and got an A. She tutored me during College Algebra and I got a B. I am horrible at math and could not have done it without her.

AWESOME TEACHER. Was always very happy and willing to help you. Seems to really care about her students. Would definetly reccomend her for anyone. She drops your lowest quiz and test grades. She gives quizzes where you can get help from any student in the class, so those are impossible to not get on A on.

This lady is an incredible instructor and unbelievably patient with her students--almost to a fault. I get annoyed with all the questions of stuff we already covered 10X, but she never shows frustration. Tests are challenging, homework is never ending, but I learned more with Ms. P. then any other math class. A SCC gem and I am thankful for her.

I took Ms. Perezluha for a 6wk summer class. It was a wild ride. She is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is so helpful and really knows her subject. Always willing to answer questions and take time to explain homework questions. Her tests are not always super easy, but fair. She is one of SCC best instructors. I am thankful for her.

I took Mrs. P for Intermediate Algebra and College Math and received an A in each course. At first it seems like she's going really fast, but you get used to it after 1-2 classes. She always gives extra credit review games, so if you do your homework you should not have a problem at all. I understand math better now than I ever have before!

She makes up the tests from problems in the book, so if you do all your homework (she generally assigns odd # and takes + ones for test), you should be fine. She explains things in great detail, and always asks if you have any q's. The EC is nice, but "game day" can get a little disorganized, which sucks. She is extremely fair, no favorites

The only bad thing I can say is that the Prof sometimes lets the students talk too loud in class, and its hard to hear her. She is very nice, VERY helpful, and explains everything a couple of ways, so it's easy to understand. If you fail her class, it's b/c you do not put forth the effort. If you show up to class, and do the homework, u will pass.

Very nice and easy. Her quizzes are very easy!! She has alot of homework but you dont turn it tell the day of your test, she offers lots of extra credit and her test are very simple! She tries to make it fun as well!! I liked her!

She is a very nice lady but our last class was a little bit hard. The class waqs computer based and she did not have much time to teach. The tests was also set by the department which made it harder. Make sure you enquire if the class is computer based because over half of the class dropped out. Please do not get me wrong, she is a nice lady.

Mrs. P. is awesome she makes everything understandable. She gives lots of homework but its not due till test day and she doesnt grade it, just makes sure you tried and understand it. Her test are straight forward and she gives lots of extra credit. I am not usually good at math and its not my favorite subject but I got an A in both classes.

Prof. P is an excellent teacher who really cares about her students. Will stay after class if you have questions & will give one-on-one instruction. Sometimes goes through examples a bit fast, but if you ask her to repeat she is more than happy to. Also throws in intersting tidbits about her personal life that keeps the class entertained!

Mrs. P is a great professor I took her for the intermidiate Algebra hybrid course which is a very difficult course due to the work load required between book work and computer work but she was extremely helpful and give ample extra credit to help maintain high grades putting more emphasis on working hard rather than just having to know the material

Ms. P. is a cool teacher, she makes the class fun and gives many opportunities for extra credit. She teaches at a very fast pace; if you're good at math it's not noticeable, but I've heard people ask her to slow down on many occasions. She's a likeable person and I would definitely take another class with her.

Those taking this class typically do not enjoy math. It's not an easy class but Ms. P provides so many opportunities to earn extra credit that if you go to every class, do all the homework, worksheets & extra credit, there's no reason why someone couldn't pass. Extra credit opportunities are a MUST though! Don't wait until end of semester to start!

Ms. P is an awesome teacher she is patient and gives lots of extra credit. But her MAT0020 class moves fairly fast so sometimes you can't catch it all. There is A LOT of home work too.

Negative comments are from those who did not speak up and ask for help. It's a tough class but if you show up for lecture and put your time in... it's a no-brainer, you'll pass!!

Excellent professor and she wants you to succeed. Lots of extra credit. Funny too. Make sure youshow up for class or you will get lost with the material. I hate math, and I've failed every single one I've taken. I have a 91% in this class because Mrs.P is such a good teacher. We used ALEKS, I was hesitant about that at first but its a GREAT program. You can do well if you try and make sure you keep up with ALEKS. She will give you easy extra credit that bring up your test grades a lot. Also she drops your two lowest test grades. I'm not good at math and ended up with an 87. I've learned more math with her than anyone else. Take her!!

I had Professor P for combined Developmental Mathematics after being out of college ten years. If you want to learn math, especially if you have traditionally had difficulties this is the teacher for you she is wonderful and helpful. Lot of extra credit incentives.

Mrs. Nasnas is AMAZING!!! Took for Dev. II. Never used the book, just MyMathLab for homework. TAKE NOTES, she gives TONS of them and you'll do GREAT! Her teaching style, GENUINE LOVE of teaching MATH, and overall style helped instill tremendous confidence in me. Walked out with a solid A...first math class EVER! TAKE HER!!!

Using the ALEKS program made it very difficult to learn foreign subjects since all that mattered was plugging in the right answers a couple of times. I'm more of a out-the-textbook kind of learner.

Prof. P is absolutely amazing! We used ALEKS and it was pretty self explanatory, and if you didn't understand something she will always help you. I would recommend taking her if you hate math. She will make it so much more enjoyable :)

Took class expecting to be traditionally taught, but everything is on the ALEKS online system so it felt like an online class anyway. Ms. P is very helpful and is willing to take as along as you need to understand the topics. Lectures can be fast but she is always willing to repeat herself. She is willing to accommodate any of your needs!

Gives easy extra credit. Would take her again. Her lectures on material helped tremendously even though most is done on Aleks.

This Prof is good, she kinda lets you do your own thing and is there when you need help, which is my type of learning. He lectures are a bit boring, but its math so of course it is.

Carol is one of the best professors in SSC. The time she invests into making sure each and every student does well is admirable. Extra credit is easy to get, but is often not needed by how well she explains the topic within schedule. Definitely take her and your A is assured.

Prof. P was an amazing Math professor. She always had great references/neat little tricks to remember formulas for different problems which I loved. She was also extremely attentive, patient, and caring and would always take time after her lectures to help myself and fellow students out with problems they were stuck on.

Best math teacher I ever had. Super kind and caring, she goes over problems in absolute detail. Not only does she go step by step, she'll also give as many example problems as you need to get it down pat. She gives out tons of extra credit, so much that you can easily max out on points before each test. If you struggle with math she's THAT teacher.

She's an amazing professor. She helps a lot after class. I personally didnt use the textbook at all because her lectures were easy most of the time to understand and if you didn't understand it she will reword for you to understand it better.

Professor Perezluha was wonderful. I just finished her online 6 week course this summer. Do all your work on ALEKS, get your time in and take your Final Exam and you'll do great! I HATE math but she posts helpful videos and she responds to emails quickly!

I had taken this class so many times before taking her class and I passed it right away. She is always willing to help and will answer any question you have.

Wonderful Professor! Easy to reach outside of class. This was an ALEKS course, so not much grading for her to do. However she made sure to give us reminders of upcoming important dates and allowed one retake of the final knowledge check.

I had Professor P for MAT0022. It was tough and even though I despise math, she helped me get a nice passing grade. She offered all her lectures pre-recorded, pushed out deadlines so all the class could catch up, and even offered extra credit. Best math Professor ever.

I wish Professor P. was teaching MAT1033. I have been out of school for over 20 years and retook this class at least 5 times. I almost gave up and decided to give it another shot and passed. She was recommended by my counselor. Professor P. is one of the few that teach the traditional way of math as well as the new way. Don't give up!

I am going to miss my Professor so much. This was my first term going into college for my AA Degree for General Business. I was so stressed going into this and not really sure what to expect but my teacher was there for me and all of my classmates. I highly recommend taking a math class with her as the teacher.

Prof P is amazing! She is very caring and puts her students first. She lets you work ahead and offers a lot of extra credit. Make sure you study for her final and you will do fine! She is always available to her students! I loved Prof P!
