She is really easy it is not necessary to go to class except to get the test study guides.
She's great, especially for 2010. She's interesting & tells great stories! :) Her tests aren't too hard if you study.
Sometimes she doesn't know what she's talking about. Easy to convince into changing test dates or making the test open notes. Make sure you have your own study group to make sure you understood her.
She is very easy, if you go to class adn stuyd for exams you wil be fine! SHe gives study guides covering everything on teh test. SHe tells stories and makes the class interesting. She is also very undestanding!
takes way too long to present the information; everything is disorganized and the class just takes a lot longer than it should
She is so boring and so monotone, it's awful. I would stay clear of her classes. Her tests are hard too..don't take her.
She is a good teacher.many test questions come from book as a surprise. so, read and study notes and you will do good. she knows a lot about the feild.
The tests are hard, you think you understand the material but her questions are worded funny. Gives out extra credit but its a pain to do. Class is boring so dont have her on a T/R or it will take forever!
The class is at 8, the tests are really hard (you think you know the material and you've done well but the questions are worded so strangely that it's nearly impossible to do really well), and her voice is annoying. Interesting subject but not worth it, take someone else if you can.
Very disturbing to have to watch and listen to her talk about sex...VERY DISTURBING! Gave alot of extra credit though. No need to be in class b/c she doesn't take attendance and you could buy the notes. Tests were hard and she graded papers hard. Take Dr. Sollie for human sexuality!
She's a great woman, but it's a hard class. Don't expect to make good on test if you assume you know about sex. She grades test very hard.
Her tests are straight from her notes. She knows her information and makes you understand the material. She gives a lot of extra credit. As long as you go to class an study your notes you'll get an A.
Awful teacher, does not make the class interesting at all. don't take this teacher if you want to make anything above a C or D studying your butt off.
Be sure you read the chapters and not just your notes when reviewing for the tests. I studied a lot for this past test and made a D! It sucks having to take this class at 8 in the morning. She has a habit to wanna keep talking whenever it's time for class to be over! Be sure to study ahead of time!
One thing that I admired about Dr. Robertson is that she always took time to answer questions and was always interested in what the students had to say. Although her tests are tough, I have learned a lot from this class. She's very nice. Go to her if you have any questions!
Be sure to ready over the chapters in the book and NOT JUST your notes when reviewing for the test! The tests are a bit rough, so be sure to study ahead of time! She'll drop 1 of your lowest test score. We had the oppurtunity to earn up to 15 bonus points. If you have ?'s, ask! She's very nice!
No 8:00 class is fun no matter who you have. You have to study for the tests because they can be tricky. She's very approachable with any ?'s. Be sure to go view your tests after they're graded, because at times I felt like some of "her answers" were wrong.
She is a very approachable teacher. She is also extremely helpful. I know students who were just extremely jammed packed with stuff do the week our research paper was due in class and she gave them a week extension on it. She does love essay test but is very resonable with the way she grades them
She's so nice and very willing to help out in any way. I had her at 8AM and still didn't mind it...plus you actually learn stuff. She makes her class interesting too. I would definitely take her class.
Tests are hard. Read book, not just notes. She does give a helpful study guide. Very boring class to sit through esp. at 8am.
her class was very simple. she makes it as interesting as possible. all you have to do is just go to class everyday and take the notes that she gives you. she also offers extra credit quizzes in class which are easy and very helpful, they made my B an A.
This class is very interesting however the tests are IMPOSSIBLE. I would read my notes, book, and do her study guides but non of it helped me get anything over a 70% on the tests. The final sucks because it is cumulative. There is SOOOOO much info on it! Nice lady but never will return an e-mail so she is not very helpful?!
I have taken Dr. Roberson for HDFS 2010 and HDFS 4680 and would definetely take her again. She is very approachable and will go out of her way to help you in any way she can. You can easily talk her into changing the dates for any assignment, she is very flexible.
Very helpful, drops lowest test grade, has other easy assignments besides tests to help your grade.
class is very easy if you do book questions and study a little before the tests. Lots of extra credit opportunities also. SHe is fun and also kinda boring.
She didn't drop our lowest test grade, but did always sent a study guide. She is a bit disorganized, but is very helpful. There are outside requirements-easy. Her tests are complicated, know the material and you should do well. If you don't know something, ask. If she doesn't know, she'll look it up. Be ready to work. Take Carol, you won't regret it!
Very nice
you really need to read the book and go to class, but she makes it easy for you. her tests are mostly based off her lectures with a little bit from the book (which is why you should read), and she drops your lowest test grade and our of 6 quizzes she'll drop the 2 lowest.
The class lectures are interesting and simple, but her tests are not. Her tests questions are very tricky and hard. Take another teacher if you can.
Easy if you just go to class everyday. Her tests are word for word out of her notes and the study guides. And offers extra credit.
Pretty helpful and cares about her students. I would def. go to class though b/c her opinions that she says during class tend to make their way onto her tests. Her test questions are somewhat tricky, but overall shes a pretty easy teacher.
She's a great teacher. The test are very easy if you study. Her test have some tricky questions but if you study and know the material it is very easy. She drops your lowest test grade and your two lowest quiz grades. She is always willing t help if you have questions.
Dr. Roberson is very scatterbrained and disorganized. The material covered in the class is common sense but somehow she still finds a way to confuse you. I dreaded coming to this class every day.

I am going to be fair about Dr. Roberson: She is unorganized but I like her. The class material is very straight forward and the tests are nothing more then the notes and what is on the studyguide. I always study two days before the test and I have an A in the class. Inclass quizzes but she gives you extra credit if not alot of ppl show up.
She was very approachable and helpful with grades and answering any questions you have. We only had 2 tests and a paper which was pretty easy. There is a lot of writing for this class. Usually for every class she teaches she makes you do 2 out of class and 5 in class assignments that you have to write a 1 page paper on. Good professor!
She is a bit disorganized and her notes are all over the place, but I thought the class was interesting. Study a lil' bit-easy B at the least.
The material isn't hard, but her notes are very disorganized, and so is she, which makes it frustrating. Lectures are boring--she mostly talks about her own family. Her accent can be irritating. Study guides cover the book, but not the notes. She gets confused going over her own tests. I don't recommend her. She's nice, but lacks teaching skills.
awesome, but be prepared for the tests
Her class is not hard but like everyone else has said, she is disorganized and she tends to ramble which is frustrating. She is pretty clear about learning the notes and what's on the study guide (in the book) for the tests. I wouldn't say don't take her but she will get on your nerves. Easy B.
She was very disorganized but a really nice person. She did get off topic a bunch. You have to study for her test, not only her notes but also read the book. The study guides did not help me that much.
Very unorganized! She means well though. But she does not know how to attatch anything or use microsoft word so all notes are sent thru email which is so annoying. She also asks reallllly stupid questions on tests, but then some really easy one. All in all, you could get an A, but you could also get an B and deserve an A, luck of the draw
Lazy. Unclear. Notes are not in bullet point, forgets stuff easily. Tests are almost imposible. Class as a whole performed better on short answer tests but she did not like to read that much so we were given almost impossible multiple "guess" exams.
I took her for 2000 and 2010. 2010 was easy but she is awful for 2000! I hate going to class and she's do unclear, I studied so much for her and do bad on the tests. She loves all of the above questions and is really confusing, if you can take someone else!
You do not have to pay attention in class because none of her notes are on the test. However, she gives periodic quizzes. She is flexible with grades and offers extra credit. I will never forget the sound of her voice, it will haunt me forever. Take her class, but tune her out as best you can.
I have her for Lifespan Development. Her notes are pretty unorganized, probably because her daughter types them up. READ THE BOOK (or at least the sections on her study guides) because otherwise you will do awful on the tests. Her accent is irritating to say the least.
BUY THE STUDY GUIDE. Almost all of the questions come from there. It is MUCH more useful than the textbook, which is unnecessary. Occasional pop quizzes, but not necessary to have 100% attendance.
I read the prior comments about her being unorganized and thought it couldn't be that bad...WRONG! THIS WOMAN IS TOTALLY UNORGANIZED! Says you'll have a quiz on one day then forgets, then forgets again. You end up having it 2 weeks later. But the class is easy. Do the study guides, seriously. They're long as hell but just get started early
Good professor overall. Most of her tests consist of the studyguide she give for the book. Gives quizes that have questions directly word for word from the study guide she recommends you buy. You def need to buy this study guide! She really seems to care about how her students do in her class.
While she's not a bad professor in general, she needs to work on a few things. Every test had some kind of answer-related error onit, laziness being the cause of a few (she admitted). But my biggest issue with her was her excessive use of space fillers ("uh" and "um" several times PER SENTENCE). She also speaks with an annoying upward inflection.
She is a really nice lady. The class is not stimulating material wise, but if you read the study guide the quizzes and tests shoud be fairly easy.
I look her for lifespan and didnt care for her, but she really grew on me! You can tell she's much enjoys teaching this class. Everything is from the Study Guide and a little from her notes. Easily got an A! I plan on taking her for another HDFS next semester.
class is easy, not interesting. attendance is pretty mandatory because you have attendance points, and attendance is taken at random. tests are easy if you read book prior to quizzes, and study notes.
Dr. Roberson is a good teacher. I have taken her for two classes and gotten A's in both. Read the book and go to class and you'll do well!!
Go to class and read the book and you'll do great in the class. She really enjoys what she teaches and loves to talk about her daughter and her pets.
Purposefully makes her test questions tricky so that you have to know every detail. Must read book & do the study guides. Makes her liberal attitude too well known which is annoying and uses excessive fillers which is extremely distracting. Probably says "sort of" 6 times within one sentence.
This isn't a class that you can get an A in with no effort, but it's easy to obtain an A if you do what she asks. She randomly takes attendance via scantron sheets, so go to class for those easy points. STUDY THE STUDY GUIDE FOR QUIZZES. She also lets us do extra credit, drop 2 quiz grades, & drop your lowest test score.
Great teacher!! Go to class, read the chapters, study the study guide questions and you will do great!!! Really enjoyed her examples!
Hard class Sometimes. Lots of work and make sure you read the book! Test are hard. So be wear.
Likes to ramble. Not very organized. She does take attendance randomly so make sure you go to class. She teaches to the very last minute and will sometimes hold you over a minute or 2. Not an easy A class but not too terribly difficult.
This is my 3rd time taking one of Carol's classes and I must say I am not taking them by choice. Her class is boring and tests are hard. An all of her grading goes through her Chinese grad assistant who doesnt speak clear engilsh. Pain in the rear and hard class! Take someone else!!!
This class was really boring and annoying, Dr. Roberson has a really annoying accent and repeats herself constantly. Her powerpoints suck she always makes mistakes on them as well as on the quizzes and tests. Come to class because the tests are based of lectures. I don't think I learned much, so if you don't have to take this class, DONT, not fun!
This class was so easy. She is annoying with trying to get people to talk but class isn't bad. She takes attendance randomly and has a quiz every friday. Drops 2 lowest quizzes and lowest test (out of 3). I barely studied for 2 and lowest test grade was a high B. She likes tricky questions though (A and B, etc.)
Do not take her if you have the option. Her accent is annoying and she says "um" at least twice in every sentence. You will know almost everything about her adopted chinese daughter by the end of the semester. She is crazy about leaving class early and her TA will practically chase you if you leave. Her tests are from book/study guide.
Roberson is all over the place. She rambles on about nothing and expects you to know everything by test time. Her GTA's are pretty helpful though. The material isn't hard but she likes to trick you on tests. She also tells HDFS students that they will never have a job or make any money.
Take for Marriage & Fam or Lifespan. Go to class, do the extra credit, and study the STUDY GUIDE for the weekly quiz, you will get an A. Final is easy if you studied during the semester. In marriage & fam don't read the book. Lifespan read the book. Drops lowest test grade. Fair, kind, interesting class. I enjoyed Dr. Roberson as a teacher.
Her tests were very confusing. She was very unorganized, as were her "study guides" which consisted of just reading the entire chapter. Weekly quizzes are very detailed and extremely difficult to do well on. Attendance is mandatory- she doesn't check role regularly but will randomly. Take someone else if you can.
This professor was dreadful. She seemed like a nice lady, just an awful professor. She was very prone to rambling and not hitting important points. Her weekly quizzes were impossible to make an A on. Her tests were the most confusing tests I've ever seen at Auburn. Please don't take this professor.
She is terrible. I was really looking forward to this class and she completely ruined it for me. She is disorganized, her notes are always a mess and she is terrible at lecturing. I would never take one of her classes again. If she is teaching one of your classes, see if you an find a section with a different professor.
This class was my Pinterest hour, which was about as useful for Marriage and Family as the class itself. Takes her the entire class to get trough 3 slides of her "guided notes." Don't bother with the book. Buy the study guide and do the multiple choice.
She was very approachable and willing to help if she could. She knows her stuff. She moves through her lectures very slow and tends to ramble, but I found the course very interesting. I'm taking her again next semester. Make a point to really study for her tests. Use the study guide book for her quizzes.
Very unorganized. Will ramble and use powerpoint lectures that cover material only on the final. You will be required to write many papers, so if you must take her for a class do so at ONE CLASS AT A TIME. Has the ability to take an interesting class and discourage interest and curiosity.
She is unorganized & she does ramble, but let me paint this mental picture for you: Imagine sitting in a class that is more like American Pie than an actual class. Now imagine getting a grade for it. I kid you not! A few writing assignments, but all very doable. One of the easiest classes I had this past semester.
3040/2010/5300/4680 Multiple choice tests for 2010 & 3040 are tough so read the book. Tests for 3680 & 5300 require tons of writing and memorizing but are an easy A if you study! Very approachable/flexible. LOTS of papers can be overwhelming but she grades pretty easily. Yes, she is unorganized and rambles but I still plan on taking her again.
She is very knowledgable in the course content (and talks a LOT about the slides), but for a non-HDFS major the class is quite boring. The material also seemed very feministic and pessimistic to me, which was yet another thing I didn't like. The quizzes and exams followed the study guide and notes so you can get an easy A.
This class is not hard at all. Weekly quizzes come directly from the study guide book and tests are straightforward and easy. I didn't read the book - instead, I read the chapter outlines in the study guide book. Lecture aren't super interesting, but go to class to get the notes. Easy A.
I took her for Lifespan. The class is an easy A. The class is pretty boring though. She talks too much about one slide so we would get maybe 3 slides done a class. The tests were kinda hard because she tried to trick you a bit. Overall, this class is easy and she's an ok teacher
Not a class to be taken by the conservative. Her views are way to the left. Tests are tricky, hard A. 3 papers that are maximum work and minimal points. She grades them hard! Yes I show up and I study, hopefully I will come away with a B. Be prepared to have her opinions for lunch, daily. Not a class for the bashful either.
The course itself is very interesting. However, it is a difficult class overall. Quizzes and test are short answer, which I have came to appreciate because even if you aren't exactly right, there can still be some credit earned. This class requires a great deal of time to complete projectspapers and study for such in depth exams.
The class itself wasn't hard. The lectures just seem to drag on forever without covering very much material. There is a quiz every Friday that you can pass by studying online quizzes. For the tests, you need to know a good bit of the text book & her lectures. I passed with a B, with minimal effort. I wouldn't take her again, though.
Attendance is mandatory and quizzes every Friday which is annoying. Like everyone said boring class and I never paid attention. She does drop your lowest test grade which is nice. She expects you to read the book and study guide. On her tests she has random questions that come from no where that are totally bogus. Made a B. Not a likable prof
Her exams did not match what she taught in class or in the study guide. Her lectures were misleading and very confusing to follow, and all the information that was stated on the power points did not show up on the exam. She is very unclear and overall a poor professor. Would strongly advise anyone that is signed up to take her to drop the course.
One of the hardest classes I've ever taken which is ironic because it looks easy. Study the study guide for quizzes every friday. Study the power points for tests. Don't rely on the book too much but its good to have it just in case. Class is mandatory. She's super boring in lectures. You actually have to study really hard for her tests.
I took her for Lifespan. There are quizzes every Friday. The quizzes are super easy if you go to the website on the syllabus. The tests are kind of confusing. I dont know where some of the questions came from. Her lectures are pretty boring and confusing at times. She does drop the lowest test grade which is nice.
Dr. Roberson was very difficult to understand. She was not clear on what would be on her exams and provided little feedback when approached outside of class for help.
Lectures are very long! She does give extra credit. Wouldnt take her again! SOOOOO boring!
Many people dislike her class, but I thought it was easy. Her lectures are pretty interesting for the most part and her tests are straight forward. She gives extra credit. If you go to class and pay attention, you should receive an A. Quizzes every Friday that boost your grade (most of the answers are online). I would take again.
One word: AWKWARD. This class made me feel so uncomfortable and she has no filter. She is a huge feminist and is very opinionated. Do not leave class early she will call you out and she doesn't stop lecture until the minute it's over. She's strange, but she knows what she is talking about.
Okay this class is hard, her tests are hard but if you memorize the notes then you will be fine, she has no filter (literally) and if you leave her class early then be prepared to suffer.
I really like Dr. Roberson as a person. She is accommodating, smart, and funny. Her assignments are unclear and her tests can be difficult--BUT since she is helpful, she is willing to explain. She give quizzes every Friday--no matter the class. During class, she tends to ramble; however, her note outlines are online so that helps.
To make an A in this class, you must read each chapter thoroughly every week to do well on the quizzes every Friday. GO TO OFFICE HOURS after every test and get the correct answers. She will remember your name if you have a borderline grade at the end, and she reuses test questions so it will be helpful ;) Ended with an A! good luck!
I thought all of her lectures were very interesting so i didn't find the class hard at all. I would definitely suggest reading the chapters in depth before Friday's quizzes and those will be easy A's. Talk and ask questions in class because she's very nice and open
She has quizzes every Friday which sucks, but she drops your two lowest grades. She also drops your lowest test grade out of the 3. Attendance is mandatory, and she makes you fill out a scantron everyday for attendance. If you miss a class -5 is taken off your grade. Overall its an interesting class, and you can tell that she is passionate about it
She is an amazing teacher. Super tough on actually going to class and being in the lecture, so she will assign pop-attendance quizzes that don't count against you if you are present for that class. SO every week, either Monday or Wednesday, expect to have a scantron ready to prove that you were there that day. Really opinionated, quizzes every fri.
Excellent professor, consulted class on how to best teach the course, very knowledgeable
She's a great teacher in all her classes (taken for 4 different times) and very knowledgeable about her topics. She cares about her students and is very understanding about your situations. She can seem spacey at times, but do not worry, if she makes a mistake she will correct herself and make it right. Totally recommend to all!
I enjoyed this class very much. Her notes are clear and the tests pretty much come from the notes, so thats why you go to class. She had quizzes every friday. They were not hard, but you DO have to read the book to pass. She doesn't try to trick you. Overall a good teacher.
She's a stickler for attendance and you CANNOT leave early or she'll call you out. I enjoyed her lectures. Actually really nice lady. Tests were straight from her notes. Weekly quizzes (drops 2) that really help your grade if you take the time to read the parts of the chapter in the book that she assigns. Should be an easy A for anyone who tries.
This class was for sure not an easy A as some would expect. She comes off as very strict and the final was impossible. With that being said, the class wasn't terrible. You definitely have to put in the work and read the chapters for her weekly Friday quizzes, but having many grades benefits you in the long run. Reading guides are super helpful.
If I tried a tiny bit harder I would've gotten an A. Advice: she has a quiz every Friday, so at the least look over the quiz material in the book and you'll get A's on all of them. Go to class- she has a 5+ missed class policy and its an automatic F. Takes attendance on scantrons, DO NOT fill one out for your absent friends, she WILL know.
lectures are boring but the class is really easy. She takes attendance& if you miss more than 5 class you will fail the class. She gives a quiz every friday but they are easy. You have to sit through her painful lectures and if you leave she will call you out. You need to do the reading guides if you want to pass. If you study you can get an A.
This is the third time I have had Dr. Roberson and I really enjoyed the class. Although it is not an easy A, it is definitely possible. 10-point quizzes every Friday help your grade and there were two papers that weren't bad. Tests are also very do-able. She is a very nice lady and is very passionate about this class!
Quizzes every Friday but there's a reading guide so you know exactly which sections to read. Her tests aren't easy but they aren't hard (Got a A on 2 and C on one) She drops lowest test grade as well. Pay attention to her stories she tells that relate to topics cause they will be on test sometimes. She gives test friday before SB/Thanksgiving break
Def not one of the easiest classes i've ever taken, but the material in all of her classes is super interesting and i feel like i learned a lot. Attendance is really important!
Lots of outside reading to do, but overall she is a great teacher. Yes she takes attendance randomly and so if you miss that day then you get a zero which impacts your grade a lot.. so get a note if you're going to miss because you never know when she is going to take attendance. She counts scantrons so she will figure out who isn't there if needed
This class was really interesting! If you do everything the way she wants it, this should be an easy A. For the tests, just memorize the powerpoints and study past quiz questions and you'll be good. Go to class -- or you won't pass.
I've taken Roberson twice now. She is very straight forward. Three tests, a quiz every Friday, and the final. She automatically drops your lowest test grade and two lowest quiz grades. Her final is comprehensive, but its not too bad. She takes attendance randomly. If I would have studied for the quizzes, I could have gotten an A for sure.
Carol Roberson was a great professor for the most part and gave many extra credit opportunities. The only complaint I have is that all the extra credit opportunities were very feministic or ethnocentric. None of them had to do with the class material. I made 86's on all of her tests without trying. She gives quizzes every friday, so do not miss!
I literally don't understand why people would take her classes. Tons of outside reading and lectures are extremely boring. I mean the material is really interesting and love it, I'm just not into her ways. Scantrons are super annoying and she does take attendances every single class.
Dr. Roberson is a great HDFS professor, her lectures were easy to understand, I took a lot of notes that helped for the exams. However, the weekly quizzes are directly from the book so you should get it. She does not cover whatever is on the quizzes in class unless she says otherwise. Her exams are really easy if you pay attention & read.
takes attendance randomly. quizzes every friday, reading guides provided. if you leave class early she will call you out. power points online that you fill in throughout class. test are all multiple choice.
Tells you she takes attendance everyday, but its random. Quizzes every friday on textbook material. Low-key pain in the ass because it was a lot to read but I usually waited to night before. Tests are all multiple choice and pretty easy if you study and understand the notes. She rambles a lot but I would def take again!
She is a great professor, and she's really interesting to listen to (only if you love human development). Quizzes EVERY Friday. Lots of bookwork and outside reading. Tests are easy. She drops lowest test grade and lowest 2 quiz grades. Gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. I loved her, and I recommend her.
I didn't like her at the beginning but I ended up really enjoy her classes. Take her class if you attend classes regularly because she takes attendance and she has quizzes every week. The quizzes can keep you up with the material though. You can drop two lowest quiz and one lowest exam as well. I'm taking her again for HDFS 2010.
3rd time having Dr. Roberson and I just love her so much. This class was definitely pretty hard, but that should be expected for a 4ooo level class (tests are written answer and literally need every powerpoint memorized). If you go to her after class she is the sweetest ever and v helpful. (ps: her 2000 and 2010 classes are EASY if u try @ all)
easy A, just memorize her powerpoints to do well on test. final is straight forward. do the extra credit. don't miss class because its minus five points.
She takes attendance often and if you miss 5 times you fail. She quizzes every week, but gives a lot of extra credit. There are 3 tests and the final is cumulative, but she reviews the tests with you beforehand. She definitely will not make an effort to learn your name and is very distant, but she teaches well and knows what she's talking about.
this class was super easy, yet super interesting. you have to go to class because she randomly takes attendance. she does online homework to boost your grade and gives many extra credit opportunities. she also lets you drop quizzes and a test. really enjoyed this class.
Randomly takes attendance which doesn't count for a grade, but if you miss it counts against you. Quizzes every week and textbook assignments but they are easy and can help boost your grade. Tests aren't completely straightforward (the cumulative final is the easiest) but if you study and put in the effort you can get a good grade.
This class was fairly easy because it was so interesting. You do have quizzes every week, but in the long run it helps your grade out a lot. She's a good lecturer but slightly strict in class.
Go to class and pay attention and you'll be fine, use quilt to study for the weekly quizzes. Shes kind of crazy but her class isnt the worst.
This class is very easy if you pay attention and write down everything from her powerpoints. There are weekly quizzes, but you don't even have to read or study for them, and she drops the lowest test grade. Dr. Roberson herself is a little scattered and goes off on tangents, but she's decent. Definitely an easy A.
Dr. Roberson is awesome! Lecture heavy but the lectures are so interesting. As long as you pay attention in class and write notes, you will make an A. I had her for HDFS 2000 and HDFS 2010 and made an A in both just from paying attention in class.
I would highly recommend taking Dr. Roberson, especially her human sexuality class. She seems tough, but it super nice. You do have to go to class, if you miss more than 5, you fail. She takes random attendance. Also, quiz and homework each week.
Literally may be the most annoying person ever talking about her DOGS and BOYFRIEND for every lecture, but covers everything you need to know for tests. Gives study guides for the quizzes! Do the study guides and get over a 100% on each quiz. Most material is common sense just keep up with your work. Literally reads the powerpoint to you.
Carol is an interesting teacher, you will have a quiz once a week but if you just scan a quizlet of that chapter right before the quiz, you will be fine. Most quizzes also have extra credit questions on them and she still offers 3 extra credit assignments as well. Tests are all straight from the lecture with a tiny bit form them study guide.
Dr. Roberson is one of God's greatest gifts to the world. She is so fun to listen to, and though class is mandatory, I would never consider missing one of her lectures anyways. You'll have to read a chapter or two a week, with online assignments and a weekly quiz, but its all easy.
This was my favorite class, content wise. Professor is a bit strict and you have quizzes every day of class that will bring your grade down if you don't show up. It is easy to slip behind if you don't keep up with your out-of-class assignments. Come prepared with lots of scantrons and don't be late or you'll miss half of the quiz.
Such an easy A. You just have a quiz once a week and 3, no papers. She gives MILLIONS of extra credit opportunities. Attendance most of the time but some days she wont take it. Literally easy such an easy class & lectures are easy to follow along with. Tests are straight from power point or from the guide she gives you from the book. TAKE HER!!
Her classes can be tough for some people, but that's because they just require more effort than you would think. Many people just say her classes are 'common sense' and go without studying, but that won't fly here. You have to study for this class (sorry) but Dr. Roberson makes the lectures very engaging! Her classes are my favorite at Auburn!
