Professor Rogers overall is a good professor for macroeconomics especially for those who aren't into Econ. I learned a lot in her class and I would say that it increased my interest in economics. The homework and multiple choice tests aren't too bad but she does have some exceptionally tricky questions on the tests/midterms of which there are two. She does a good job at explaining the material and goes through it at a good pace. She does, however, have a strong, funny Midwest accent.

Carols new flipped style for Itrade is ridiculous. Most of the content learning is done through short videos to be viewed at home. In class she assigns group work, barely speaks, and does not expand on the material. Her tests do not reflect the material we learn and she decided to write her own PDFs instead of using a proper textbook. Avoid.

Carol is fine for macro - funny in lecture and very helpful in office hours. You get free HW points, but both midterms are hard and the final is cumulative. Rogers used an "inverted classroom" for itrade that meant watching lecture captures at home and doing exercises in class. I found this method REALLY confusing and time-consuming, and in the end I didn't learn anything from the class (just crammed onto the notecard for final + midterm). Can be frustrating.
