I took her psychology class during the may-mester at vol state. she was really cool, we got out early almost everyday, even though we had to be there for a couple hours, she made it interesting. she was really funny, made everyone laugh. her tests were representative of what we covered in class. just a great teacher, very friendly,and very caring

Dr. Topping is an excellent teacher. I had her for a General Psychology I course, and her class was probably the most interesting and enjoyable of all the courses I've taken yet. Dr. Topping is very easy going, and, as long as you do the work, her class is exceedingly easy to make an "A" in. I would recommend her to anyone.

If you have to take a Psychology class then you need to think about taking Dr. Topping. She makes her classes fun by using humor to get her points across. I would take her again if I needed another Psychology class. She is very good and will answer questions very clearly when asked. Take her and you won't be sorry!

Ms. Topp is a EXCELLENT teacher. Very easy to earn an "A". NEVER used a book in her class. I highly recommend her if your taking psychology. All the quizes are take home and she gives you everything that you need to know during her lecture (which are never boring). She is a garanted "A" unless you just dont study. Now she does make you find articles to write about but its peaches trust me. :)

Top is the best! Sign up early for PSY101 because everybody wants to take her. An easy A, attendance not mandatory but you will want to attend class. All professors should model Top's teaching style. She wants you to get the material not try and trick you up on tests. LOVED IT! Not my major but I plan to take her other courses as electives!

I took her class Abroad in Austria. It was only three weeks and I think she covered everything. I had taken this class at my own college and I still learned ALOT from her. She is extremely clear and very helpful. Her memory aids are something I will never forget.

She is a wonderfull teacher i had her for both psy 101 and psy 221. Psy 101 she had us take notes, but the classes was easy. All the quizzes were take home n tests were not hard. Psy 221 the notes could be printed off d2l, tests become group tests. Over all great teacher. she forcus on teaching what u need to know about the class

She is seriously a great teacher. I was intimidated by her at first but got over that quickly. She sat in class and pretended to be a student the first day. She was super easy, all the quizzes are open book and the tests are right from the quizzes. So just go to class and listen and youll be fine. She even gives you notes so that makes it easier.

This class is so easy! If you're looking for a class where you don't have to go to class or do much work and still get an A, this is your class. Topping is so interesting and funny though that you might just want to go to class. DO NOT buy the book! You don't use it, she prints all the notes you need and most of the time the quiz's are take home!

She's one of the funniest professors I've had at Vol-State. She cares about your grades, and tries to help you by curving them & extra credit. I believe a book is mandatory if you want to pass. Quizzes are open book & take home, and sometimes we take home test. We only have one project, but it's super easy! You'll love her!! I recommend her!

Carol Topping is one of the best teachers at Volunteer State, hands down! Her lectures are fun and keep you entertained. The biggest thing that stood out to me was that after I left her class I remembered what she taught us. I didn't just memorize the study guide then forget everything after the test like high school.

I would retake this course a million times !! Tops explains everything very well and is always making us laugh. She is willing to work with you if your grade is struggling (which is unlikely) and is almost always available outside of the classroom.

I took Top's online class and it was fairly easy. You have your usual exams and quizzes, but then you have "class activities" which are TRULY engaging and interesting. She provides excellent feedback on those assignments. She is very knowledgeable in her field, and I would highly recommend you take her.

While her disorganization could affect your understanding of the class, she is really patient and kind. She is really good professor and I know the content by the time I've left class.

Proffessor Top is very good at what she does. I took her social psychology class and it was definitely an easy A. There are very few assignments, and she tells you exactly what she wants. There is a discussion due most sundays, very short though. Every other week theres an engaging assignment where you watch a video. Read her notes for the 3 test

She was a great professor! She had lots of papers, but the grading criteria was easy to understand and she graded exactly off that criteria. Answer the questions she asks, and you'll get an A. Pretty simple stuff. Answer honestly and thoughtfully and she appreciates that. It's really a fun class and I'll be looking for more of her classes.
